Two ladies from Long Island battle it out in a friendly contest, assuming things are still friendly between them. Stokely Hathaway’s been stirring the pot, but will this match prove him wrong? Or will things fall apart between The Galaxy’s Greatest and The Babe with the Power?

Stokely is on commentary, like he was on Wednesday, and Kris throws her jacket at him. The bell rings and the two shake hands. Fans cheer, the two tie up, and Kris powers Willow back, then arm-drags her. Willow returns to RAM Kris, but neither falls. Fans rally up, the two tie up, and Willow waistlocks to SLAM Kris down. Willow floats to a facelock, Kris rolls free and wrenches back, to then arm-drag again. Willow RAMS Kris again, and then Kris hits a headlock takeover. Willow rolls to a cover, ONE, so Willow headscissors. Kris moves around, headstands and pops free to basement dropkick!

Fans rally up, Kris scoops, but Willow slips free. Willow scoops to SLAM, then runs to SPLASH! Cover, ONE and Kris has it, ONE! Kris sweeps a leg, then handstand LEG DROPS! Cover, TWO! Matthew Menard, Angelo Parker, Bryan Keith, Lee Johnson, Serpentico, Christopher Daniels, Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade, Darius Martin, Action Andretti, The Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds & John Silver, Danhausen, Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta, Lance Archer, “Killswitch” Luchasaurus, Johnny TV, and Dalton Castle are all battling for their shot at the TNT Champion, that can be cashed in anytime, anywhere! Who proves they are worthy of facing The Face of TNT?

Oh wait, Johnny starts trouble with Castle, stemming from what happened on ROH this past Thursday! And now it’s chaos all around! Archer fights off Butcher & Blade, Darius & Action brawl with Trent & Rocky in a continuation from Rampage last night, and why is #SNAKEMAN getting a table?! Silver throws Bryan aside, gets in the ring, and fans cheer as the bell rings. Bryan storms up on Silver, and it turns out the tables are just to bury the Murderhawk Monster! Blade & Butcher actually help out here, as does the Fallen Angel. Meanwhile, Castle has Johnny in an Alabama Lift, for BANGA- NO, Johnny grabs the corner to stop the spin!

Johnny shifts around, and it seems the others have even knocked down and buried Killswitchasaurus! They SMACK away on the tables with chairs to hammer the two kaiju down! The fans fire up as everyone now gets in the ring and the brawl continues! Castle DECKS Johnny, and even snatches Johnny’s necklace! Action is after Daniels, Trent brawls with Parker, Danhausen CURSES Serpentico! Rocky back drops Serpentico away, and Trent TOSSES him! Best Friends ELIMINATE Serpentico! Johnny and Castle get in the ring, Castle blocks a shot to ELBOW Johnny! Castle runs up, but Butcher & Blade catch him!

Butcher & Blade put the Peacock on the apron but Castle fights back! Kip DECKS and ELIMINATES Castle! Fans boo Mr. Superbad as he and his Superbad Squad celebrate. Fans boo as there’s no more Dark Order. Action stomps Bryan, Danhausen powers up, but Kip tells him stop! Look up! HEADBUTT! Kip runs, into a RPG VICE DOUBLE KNEE! Then Danahausen falls onto Kip’s superbad spot! Best Friends haul Kip up, send him at Bryan, and the Bounty Hunter TOSSES Kip! Kip holds on, but Bryan ENZIGURIS! Kip falls, Bryan ELIMINATES him! Rocky waistlocks Bryan, Bryan swings an elbow but Rocky ducks it, only to get a DDT for it! Danhausen BOOTS Bryan, but Bryan sits up like a Deadman! Blade whips, Bryan reverses but Blade ELBOWS him away! Blade goes up but Bryan RISING HEADBUTTS! Fans fire up as Bryan picks Blade up but Butcher CLUBS him! Butcher runs in but Bryan avoids the boot to SAIDO! Fans fire up as Bryan KNEES Butcher down! Action SPLASHES Menard, CLUBS him, then lifts him! Butcher fireman’s carries Bryan to FLAPJACK him on the corner! Blade BLASTS Bryan, The Superbad Squad ELIMINATES him! But wait! Lance Archer rises up from under the tables!! The Murderhawk Monster wasn’t eliminated, only delayed! He storms in to DECK Daniels, DECK Butcher, DECK Blade, and stomp everyone else!

Fans fire up, Menard stares Archer down and says Archer is a big idiot! Archer choke grips but Menard stomps the feet! Menard CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS but Archer eggs him on! Menard runs, into a BODY BLOCK! Archer TOSSES and ELIMINATES Daddy Magic! No more Ever-Rise, and Archer puts Daniels in a corner. Daniels BOOTS Archer away, climbs up, but Archer STEP-UP KNEES! Daniels falls to the floor, Archer ELIMINATES him! Darius & Action fire off on Archer, then run, but into DOUBLE LARIATS! Butcher & Blade hoist Rocky up, Trent & Danhausen go after Archer! Best Friends focus on the monster!

They double whip, but Archer DOUBLE LARIATS! Rocky runs up to UPPERCUT, but Archer just glares at Rocky! Fans fire up and fans tell Rocky he messed up. Rocky ENZIGURIS Archer, ducks ‘n’ dodges, but into a scoop! Inverted crucifix, BLACKOUT BOMB onto Daniels! Archer ELIMINATES Azucar! Archer storms up but Action tells him stop! Darius then passes Action a bottle, and Action SPEED CHUGS it!! Archer swings, misses, Darius kicks, Action kicks, BUZZSAW and POP-UP RANA! Fans fire up for Hydrated Andretti! But KILLSWITCHASAURUS rises up!! And he grabs Darius & Action by the throats! DOUBLE CHOKE SLAMS!

The Superbad Squad fires off on Killswitchasaurus now, as does Trent! Luchasaurus still knocks Trent away, Butcher & Blade swing on Top Flight but they dodge to DOUBLE SUPERKICK! But Archer and Luchasaurus both rise! They both run in, but Top Flight ducks under, so the colossal clotheslines collide! Neither Archer nor Luchasaurus fall, so they stare down. The fans fire up for this massive moment and chant “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” But then Luchasaurus and Archer grab Action and Darius respectively, to SHOVE them both out and ELIMINATE them! No more Top Flight! But then Superbad Squad attacks again!

Butcher is after Luchasaurus while Blade is after Archer! IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER for Luchasaurus! But Archer BOOTS Blade down! Archer TOSSES Blade to ELIMINATE him! Luchasaurus dumps Butcher out then BOOTS him down to ELIMINATE him! No more Superbad Squad! And then Archer BOOTS Luchasaurus down! They, Trent and Danhausen are the final four! Archer sees Danhausen, and Danhausen isn’t sure what to do! Danhausen dodges Archer, but the waistlock lift doesn’t work! Archer elbows back, puts Danhausen up top, then UPPERCUTS! Inverse crucifix, but Trent SUPERKICKS Archer!

Danhausen DONG PUNCH! Trent SUPERKICKS again! Archer wobbles, Best Friends DUMP and ELIMINATE the Murderhawk Monster! Fans are thunderous, and these unlikely friends HUG! You GOT to give the people what they want! But then Trent goes and throws Danhausen out! Trent ELIMINATES Danhausen, only to be all alone with Luchasaurus! Fans boo Trent but he takes aim, to BUSAIKU KNEE! Luchasaurus rises up, so Trent BUSAIKU KNEES again! Trent aims again, BUSAIKU KNEE THE THIRD! Trent huffs and puffs as Luchasaurus rises up again! Kneepad down, Trent runs in again, into a choke grip! JURASSIC CHOKE SLAM!!

Luchasaurus hauls Trent up, scoops and aims, but Trent slips free! Trent baits Luchasaurus in and dumps him out! Luchasaurus holds on, he’s still in this! Trent runs up, Luchasaurus choke grips again! Luchasaurus drags Trent up and over but Trent throws forearms! And a JUMP KNEE! Luchasaurus wobbles, Trent waistlocks, half nelsons, but Luchasaurus breaks free and ROCKS Trent! Trent runs back in, but into a HEADBUT!!! Trent falls, Luchasaurus wins!!

Zero Hour – FTW Championship FTW Rules Match: Hook VS Wheeler Yuta!

The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil, like many of us, can’t stand how The Decoder has become an obnoxious prick POS. But Yuta embraces how he gets under people’s skin, and has even found how to bend the rules to his advantage. But will he be able to bend anything after a match where there are no rules? Or will he #SendHook to the back of the line?

The introductions are made, but Yuta gets a mic of his own. “Well as all of you just saw, Hook has been sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong.” Fans tell Yuta to STFU but he ignores it to say of course that’s what Hook does, just look at this hole he calls home! “Is there a single redeeming quality about Long Island? No one in New York even likes you, and that’s the lowest of the low already!” The inferior hockey team, not even the best island, because Staten Island is better, and that place is trash, too! And now, Hook and Yuta are fighting under FTW Rules. Yuta sees Taz on commentary, and he knows Taz knows FTW Rules, but-

WHOA, the hockey sirens are blaring! Yuta asks what’s up with that! It’s to shut Yuta up so that Hook can make his entrance, that’s what! Fans fire up as Dasha finishes the introductions. The FTW title is raised, will Hook use anything and everything to tear Yuta apart? Or will Yuta find a way to become a Double Champion?

Wait, Yuta takes a swing before the bell! Hook dodges it and fires off on Yuta! The bell rings, the fans fire up, and Hook fires off on Yuta in a corner. Yuta turns things around, but then Hook dodges to fire off more shots! Hook keeps on Yuta in another corner, but Yuta knees low. Yuta CHOPS but it’s a grazing shot. Yuta stalks Hook to fire more shots, but fans chant “YUTA SUCKS!” Hook fires off haymakers, and doesn’t have to hold back under these rules! He HEADBUTTS, then UCHIMADAS with some stank! Yuta bails out, Hook pursues but Yuta UPPERCUTS from below! Yuta then looks under the ring, brings out some wood, and a trash can!

Yuta puts the trash can in the ring, but Hook BLASTS Yuta off the apron! Hook hurries out after Yuta, ROCKS him, and they go to the ramp. Hook throws more hands, Yuta wobbles, but Yuta CHOPS! And ROCKS Hook! Hook CHOPS in return! Yuta sputters as he goes up the ramp, but Hook follows. Hook brings Yuta up to throw more hands, but Yuta knees low again. Yuta reels Hook in, but Hook lifts Yuta up to NORTHERN LIGHTS to the ramp! Yuta flounders down but that was rough on Hook, too. The fans rally, Hook stalks Yuta to ringside and ROCKS him again. Yuta goes under the ring, and brings out a trash can! SMACK!!

Yuta scores a goal on Hook with that one, and Yuta shows off the FTW spraypainted on the lid. Yuta flips it off, puts the lid aside, then brings out a stop sign. That also goes into the ring, Yuta drags Hook up and around to whip him into the railing! Yuta taunts Hook, digs his boots in, and says Hook wanted this! Yuta lets off to drag Hook up and around, and slings him into more railing! Fans boo but Yuta soaks the heat up. Yuta drags Hook over to SMACK him off commentary, right in front of Taz! Fans fire up as Hook CLOBBERS Yuta! Hook puts Yuta in, hurries after, but Yuta catches Hook to a PAIN THRILLER! Cover, TWO!

Yuta picks up the stop sign, and he SMACKS Hook on the back! Hook writhes, Yuta grabs the trash can and shakes it out. There’s a second trash can inside, labeled with the FTW spray paint. Yuta mocks Hook with it, then puts him on the stop sign to SENTON! Cover, TWO! Fans rally but Yuta smirks. Yuta drags Hook up and around, reels him in, but Hook fights the suplex! Hook suplexes Yuta high and hard! Fans fire up as both men rise up. Hook LARIATS! And LARIATS again! And then wrenches to NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridging cover, TWO! Yuta escapes but Hook stays cool. Hook storms up on Yuta, reels him in, RED- NO, Yuta arm-drags free!

Yuta runs up, shoots around, GERMAN SUPLEX! But Hook’s up to GERMAN SUPLEX! Yuta is back up, GERMAN SUPLEX! Hook is back up, GERMAN SUPLEX! Fans fire up as both men flounder. Yuta stands, ROCKS Hook, but Hook ROCKS Yuta! DOUBLE LARIATS take them both down! Fans fire up again as the ref checks. The standing count begins as Hook and Yuta stir. Fans rally up, Yuta goes to ropes, and the fans are strongly behind “HOOK! HOOK! HOOK!” Yuta storms up to BITE Hook’s forehead! Fans boo, but Yuta FISHERMAN SUPLEXES! Bridging cover, TWO! Not quite perfect and Yuta is seething.

Yuta grabs the clean trash can, and he SMACKS Hook with it! Yuta puts the can down, drags Hook up, and knees low. And knees again, and again, but into a high cradle! T-BONE SUPLEX into the FTW trash can!! Cover, TWO!! Yuta is still in this but Hook won’t let off! Hook hauls Yuta up, REDRUM!! Hook even becomes a backpack! Yuta stays up, to BACKPACK SENTON on the clean trash can!! Both men writhe, and Yuta grabs the stop sign. Yuta roars, puts the sign at center and he hauls Hook up. Yuta reels Hook in, to DDT on the stop sign!! Yuta covers, TWO!! Hook is still in this and Yuta is furious!

The fans rally up while Yuta argues with the ref. There may be no rules but you still respect the authority! Hook flops out of the ring so Yuta fetches that two-by-four. Yuta puts that in the ring, fans go “HO~!” but Hook has something of his own. Yuta storms up, and Hook shows he has a hockey stick! Hook sweeps Yuta’s legs! The stick broke but Hook doesn’t care, he just SMACKS Yuta with half of it! Yuta writhes, and Hook takes the other half, to add it to REDRUM!!! Yuta falls back, Yuta TAPS! Hook wins!!

The teams sort out and Claudio starts against Rush. The bell rings, the two get in each other’s face, and they start shoving. Then they start throwing forearms and CHOPS! Fans fire up, Rush fires up, but Claudio fires off forearms and then an UPPERCUT! Rush ROLLING ELBOWS, eggs Claudio on, so Claudio BOOTS! Claudio runs in, but into a SNAP GERMAN! But Claudio LARIATS right back! Claudio runs in again but Rush BELLY2BELLY SUPLEXES Claudio up and out! Rush builds speed, but Claudio slides in to get in his face! The shoving starts again, then they back off. Lethal and Briscoe tag in and the fans fire up.

The fans chant “DEM BOYS!” as we get a rematch from Gold League’s final round. These two circle, things speed up, and Lethal hip tosses to cartwheel and basement dropkick! Lethal whips Mark to a corner, Mark goes up and out to then REDNECK UPPERCUT! Mark goes up, MISSILE DROPKICK, but Lethal blocks! Lethal steps through but Mark makes the Figure Four into a cradle! TWO, and the two start throwing CHOPS! Fans “WOO~!” as the CHOPS go back and forth! Lethal is stinging, then he and Mark shake hands. The CHOPS continue! Mark CHOPS Lethal down! Lethal scrambles away while the fans fire up with Mark!

Lethal backs off, tags White, so Mark tags Bryan! The fans are red hot now as we get our first taste of these two 1v1. They circle, White talks some trash on Bryan, and they feel things out. They tie up, White powers Bryan to a corner but also pulls hair! The ref counts, White lets off but Bryan avoids the chop to wrangle White! LEBELL LOCK! ROPEBREAK, and Bryan lets go at 4. He has ’til five! Fans cheer, Bryan grins, and White laughs that off. They reset, tie up again, and White knees low. And again! White headlocks, fans rally for Bryan and Bryan powers out. White runs Bryan over, then keeps moving.

Bryan drops, White CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! White RAMS into Bryan at the corner, and again, then CHOPS! White mocks the “YES! YES! YES!” but the fans actually chant it. White CHOPS Bryan then whips him corner to corner. Bryan reverses, runs in, and DROPKICKS! Bryan then CHOPS, KICKS and repeat! Fans chant “YES! WOO~! YES! WOO~!” Then Bryan just KICKS and KICKS and KICKS! The ref counts, Bryan lets off, and he puts White up top. Bryan climbs up to SUPER STEINER! The fans fire up and Bryan stalks White, to KICK! And KICK! And KICK! “YES! YES! YES!”

Bryan winds up, but Garcia tags himself in. They may be teammates but Garcia still doesn’t like Bryan. But then Brody tags in for a rematch from the final round of Blue League. The fans bark and hoot for Brody but Garcia puts up his dukes. Brody swings, misses, and Garcia fires off shots! Brody shoves Garcia away, runs in but into a BOOT! Garcia avoids shots, fires more shots, then SLAPS, SLAPS, SLAPS! Brody shoves, catches and BOSS MAN SLAMS! Brody then BLASTS Garcia’s corner! Brody ROCKS Garcia, dumps him out, and White is there to UPPERCUT! Brody goes out to CLUB Garcia, then tells Menard on commentary to talk trash now!

Brody shoves Menard, gets Garcia up, and he SLAMS Garcia down. Brody says Menard ain’t gonna do a thing, he’s a coward! Brody then puts Garcia back in while fans cheer on “DADDY MAGIC!” Menard keeps his cool for Garcia’s sake, but Brody stands on Garcia! Tag to Rush, Rush stomps Garcia and CHOPS him! Garcia has a bloody nose but Rush whips him to ropes, and ELBOWS him down! Rush stomps Garcia again and again, then “kicks” Garcia’s head into the crowd. Rush mocks Garcia’s dance! Garcia trips Rush, fires off, but Rush fires in return! Rush puts Garcia in the corner to CHOP him again!

Tag to Lethal, he stomps a mudhole into Garcia. Lethal grabs at Garcia, CHOKES him on the ropes, and Rush adds on. The ref counts, Lethal tags to Brody and Brody stomps Garcia. Brody CHOPS Garcia down then tags in Rush. Rush drags Garcia up to CHOP! Tag to White, and he CHOKES Garcia on the ropes! White keeps Garcia from his corner with a CHOP and a whip.

Garcia BLASTS Rush! And CHOPS White! And ROCKS Lethal! And CHOPS White! Repeat! Garcia CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS, but White CHOPS again! White runs up, but is sent into Lethal! Garcia hurries, hot tag to Briscoe! Mark dodges White, ROCKS Lethal, and fires off shots on the Jays! Lethal waistlocks, but Mark BOOTS White and PELES Lethal down! Fans fire up, Mark dodges White to CHOP! Mark whips, White reverses but Mark CLOBBERS him! Fans rally up again, and Mark runs corner to corner. White BOOTS back, hopsu p, but gets an UPPERCUT! White falls to the floor, Bryan runs to WRECK Rush!

Bryan hauls Rush up, Garcia BLASTS Brody! Bryan sends Rush into railing! Mark BOOTS White, dodges Brody, and Claudio UPPERCUTS Brody down! FLYING BLOCKBUSTER to the floor takes Lethal down! Mark goes to the apron, BANG BANG, FOLEY ELBOW on Rush! The fans fire up as Mark climbs! White is in the drop zone, but he rises up! Mark leaps over White, comes back and spins, kicks, and FISHERMAN BUSTER! Cover, TWO! White hangs tough but Mark drags him up. Mark reels White in, underhooks, but White wrenches out! REDNECK UPPERCUT! Mark runs in but White clinches, EXPLODER up and out!

Brody CLOBBERS Mark, Lethal hurries to get him back in! White covers, TWO! Mark hangs in there but White tags Lethal. Lethal hoists Mark up top, CHOPS him, then climbs up after him. Fans rally, Lethal brings Mark up but Mark throws body shots! Lethal falls, but he’s right back to ROCK Mark! Lethal goes back up, for the SUPER DUPER PLEX! Claudio fires up as he fires UPPERCUTS on Brody! Brody fires forearms back, fans rally with “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” as LARIATS collide again and again! The leading lady of AEW has been quoted as saying that while the first is always memorable for being the first, the best is remembered for being the best, even better than the first. Will that apply to champions as well as film? Or will Timeless Toni learn why Riho was the first in the first place?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if a sequel truly can outdo the original!

The bell rings and fans rally up. Storm steps to Riho, Riho waits on Storm to make a move, so they tie up. Storm powers Riho to ropes, then lets off to pat Riho on the head. Riho and Storm go again, Riho dodges to fire off forearm after forearm! Riho whips, Storm reverses, but Riho leaps! Storm catches and SLAMS Riho, then covers. ONE and Riho goes Matrix! Fans fire up and Riho goes to scoop. Riho isn’t big enough to do that, and Storm CLUBS her! Storm whips Riho, Riho handsprings through and SHOTGUNS! Storm stays up so Riho SHOTGUNS again! Riho clamps on with a headlock, but Storm fights up. The fans rally, Storm RAMS Riho into buckles. Storm whips corner to corner, runs in, but Riho dodges. Storm lets go in annoyance and tells Luther, “Let’s do the thing.”

Luther assumes the position, and he has Storm sit on his shoulders. CHARGE~! They TOSS Riho off the apron! Storm goes back to the apron, and poses for the cameras. Fans fire up as Storm saves herself by inches! Riho says she’ll finish this now, and she climbs back up. But Storm YANKS Riho back down! Then Storm drags Riho back up, RUBY CUTTER!! Cover, Storm wins!!

AEW mourns the loss of both “Killer Khan” Masashi Ozawa, and Kurtis “Mad Kurt” Chapman.

The former was a legend of Japanese wrestling who faced legends of the 1980s, such as Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan. The latter was a young star in the British wrestling scene, only a decade into the business. Ozawa passes at the age of 76, Chapman at the age of 26, but still gone too soon. AEW passes on their condolences to the friends, family and fans of these two great men, as do we here at The Chairshot.

 

Backstage interview with Dante Martin.

Lexi Nair is with Angel Dorado and says it has been one month since his return from injury. Since then, he’s been in trios action, how is he holding up? He’s doing good, but that’s not good enough. Dante wants to be great. Getting injured set him back several steps on his journey to becoming a champion. Last night, Dante got the pin on Rampage, but he almost got the pin on a champion. Orange Cassidy walks in and says, “Okay. Alright. I know-” Wait, Dante knows what Cassidy is gonna say. Dante respects Cassidy. And win, lose or draw, he’ll shake Cassidy’s hand at the end of this. But yeah, Dante’s gonna need that title.

Then try and take it, this Wednesday, on Dynamite. Then it is official! The first Dynamite of 2024, Cassidy defends his AEW International Championship against Dante Martin! Will this be one small step for Dante, and one giant leap for Top Flight?

Nana nods and says that’s how it’s done, and then Swerve basement dropkicks Dustin into the steps! Nana goes looking under the ring, and fans fire up as he brings out a CINDER BLOCK! Swerve puts the block under Dustin’s leg! Swerve goes up to the apron, and Swerve grins before he KILL STOMPS the leg through the cinder block!!!

The ref reprimands, Swerve says this is what happens when Keith can’t do his job! Swerve doesn’t care about human life! Refs and medics rush out while Swerve sits on the corner. Swerve has sent a message to Keith by sidelining Dustin, how long must Swerve wait until he has satisfaction?

Wait, Dustin doesn’t want to concede? He hobbles into the ring, so Nana says if he wants some more, Swerve can give him some more! Swerve grins as he watches Dustin clutch the ankle. Swerve says they either do this or not, stop wasting his time. Dustin insists he can go, so the bell rings! Swerve BOOTS Dustin! And fires off haymakers! Swerve KICKS the bad leg, Dustin hobbles away and almost falls into the corner. Swerve soaks up the cheers and the jeers, then storms up on Dustin. Swerve drags Dustin up, throws body shots, then puts the bad legs in ropes. The ref counts, Swerve pulls on the leg but lets off, to then KICK it! Swerve runs side to side to DROPKICK the bad leg! Dustin falls, and Swerve hits the Griddy. Swerve flips off the booing fans, then goes back for Dustin. Dustin pounds the mat and fans rally up. Swerve drags Dustin up, bumps him off buckles, then hoists him up top. Swerve ROCKS Dustin, Dustin UPPERCUTS! Swerve ROCKS Dustin, Dustin UPPERCUTS!

They brawl, Swerve gets the edge, and he pie faces Dustin. Swerve goes up, brings Dustin around, but Dustin throws body shots! Dustin HEADBUTTS, HEADBUTTS, and sends Swerve down! Dustin then adjusts, and manages to CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Dustin throws hands, then reels Swerve in. Swerve gets free but Dustin ducks to body shot! Dustin UPPERCUTS Swerve, whips, but Swerve reverses to KICK the leg! Swerve CHOPS, runs, comes back, but into a BOOT! Dustin manages to hop on, DESTROYER!! Swerve rebounds, into the SPIN POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! Dustin still has heart and Nana is worried!

Dustin hobbles while Swerve stands. Dustin CHOPS Swerve to a corner, puts Swerve’s leg in ropes, then the other leg. Nana protests but that just distracts the ref! SHATTERED DREAMS!! Swerve falls, Dustin DECKS Nana! Dustin reels Swerve in, for a PILEDRIVER! Dustin hauls Swerve back up, dragon sleeper, CROSS RHODES!! Cover, TWO!! Swerve survives and fans fire up. Dustin huffs and puffs, his comeback powered by adrenaline in his soul. Dustin hobbles, drags Swerve around to stomp Swerve’s legs, then he steps through. But Swerve kicks out the bad leg! Swerve then somersaults to COMPLETE SHOT!

Fans fire up and Swerve grabs Dustin’s bad leg! HALF CRAB! Dustin endures, fans duel, and Dustin reaches out. Swerve drags Dustin away, and has the leg for a STRETCH MUFFLER! Swerve even kicks Dustin’s head at the same time! Dustin endures it all, reaches out for ropes, but now Swerve throws body shots! Dustin doesn’t give in, he reaches out and has the ROPEBREAK! Swerve lets go in frustration, then he scuffs Dustin. Swerve laughs as he stands, and he gives Dustin more kicks. Swerve taunts Dustin, kicks him around, slaps him around, but Dustin UPPERCUTS! Swerve SLAPS back!

Dustin eggs Swerve on, so Swerve fires haymakers! And a KICK! Dustin drops to a knee, but he flips Swerve off! And SPITS at him! Fans fire up again as Swerve glares at Dustin. Dustin flips him off more, so Swerve gives Dustin a HOUSE CALL! Then Swerve grins as he aims. Dustin sits back up, into another HOUSE CALL! Swerve isn’t done with Dustin and the fans want that “ONE MORE TIME!” Swerve grins, he drags Dustin around, traps one arm and pulls the other. Swerve stands on that arm, then SNAPS it! Swerve then climbs the corner, Dustin sits up, into the KILL STOMPS!! Cover, Swerve wins!

8 Man Tag: Sting, Darby Allin & Le Sex Gods VS Ricky Starks, “Big Bill” Morrissey & The Don Callis Family!

The Relentless Icons may not always get along with Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara, but they do respect them. As such, they’re joining forces against four men they definitely do NOT respect. The Absolute and Will Hobbs have gone a few rounds with Sting & Darby before, will history repeat itself? Or will the combined forces of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, “Powerhouse” Hobbs & “The Alpha,” Konosuke Takeshita be what ends the living legends?

Fans tell Callis off as he makes his entrance, the teams sort out, and Sammy starts against Takeshita. The fans rally up as the two step forward, and Takeshita asks Sammy why he’s so mad at Callis. Sammy says Callis is just using everyone on the team! Callis doesn’t care about Takeshita! Takeshita picks Sammy up and RAMS him into a corner! Takeshita swings, Sammy dodges and CHOPS! Takeshita doesn’t flinch! Sammy CHOPS, and CHOPS, but Takeshita blocks to HEADBUTT! Takeshita whips Sammy to a corner, runs up, but blocks a boot. So Sammy ENZIGURIS! Sammy goes up, leaps, CROSSBODY! Sammy keeps on Takeshita with a chinlock, then facelock. Tag to Jericho and fans are torn on Le Sex Gods as they double whip and double shoulder tackle! Then Sammy spins and they pose! Fans are again torn, but Jericho drags Takeshita up to CHOP! Takeshita fires a forearm, Jericho CHOPS, repeat! Jericho gets the edge, whips, but Takeshita ducks ‘n’ dodges and TAKESHITA LINE! Fans fire up as Takeshita tags in Starks. Starks steps to Jericho, then flips him off. Starks reaches out, but Hobbs snipes Big Bill! Starks and Hobbs still have their own beef, but Hobbs steps to Jericho. Jericho fires off CHOPS on Hobbs now!

Hobbs kicks low, runs, then runs Jericho over! Fans rally, Hobbs scoops but Jericho slips free to fire forearms. Hobbs ROCKS Jericho, then SPLASHES in a corner! Tag to Bill now and he runs up to ROCK Jericho! And again! And again! Bill ROCKS Jericho again, whips him to ropes, then FLAPJACKS! Jericho flounders, stands up, but avoids a boot! Jericho pokes Bill in the eye, CHOPS and CHOPS, then whips. Bill reverses but Jericho KICKS back! Tag to Darby and he MISSILE DROPKICKS! Bill ends up in the corner, Takeshita tags in. Darby avoids the flying lariat to O’Conner Roll, TWO! Darby rebounds to SPLASH! Cover, TWO!

Darby hurries to whip but Takeshita reverses, but Darby springboards. Takeshita catches Darby, O’Conner Rolls to the CHAOS- NO, Darby lands on his feet! Darby BOOTS Takeshita, leaps over and comes back to SHOTGUN! Then Darby hops on, CODE RED! Cover, TWO! Takeshita hangs tough but Darby climbs up. Callis barks at Darby, and Takeshita trips Darby up! Fans boo but Takeshita climbs up to torture rack, and SUPER TOWER HACKER BOMB!!! Fans are thunderous and Darby is dazed! Takeshita crawls over, hot tag to Hobbs! Hobbs hauls Darby up to throw knees, then shoves him to the corner.

Hobbs fires haymakers from all sides, Bill fires up, the ref counts, and Hobbs lets off at 4. Fans rally for Sting and Darby crawls. Bill tags in and gets between Darby and his corner. Bill throws a heavy body shot, then whips Darby corner to corner. Bill runs in to SPLASH! Then Bill shoves Darby down, tags Hobbs, and Hobbs drags Darby up. Hobbs suplexes, and hits a BRAINBUSTER! Tag back to Bill, and Starks nods as the big boys pick Darby up to swing him! They HAMMOCK TOSS Darby across the way! Starks mocks Darby and Takeshita looms over him. Starks tags in, whips Darby to the corner, then mocks Sting!

Starks runs in corner to corner, but Darby moves and the Starks Splash hits buckles! Starks hurries to stop Darby from reaching his corner, but Darby JAWBREAKERS! Fans rally, Hobbs hurries in to stomp Darby down. Hobbs offers his former friend a hand but Starks says nope. Starks gets Darby back around, tags in Takeshita and Takeshita CLUBS Darby. Fans still rally but Starks fires off forearms and CHOPS, then some knees in the corner. Takeshita whips corner to corner, runs up but Darby BOOTS him! Darby runs up, Takeshita catches him, and keeps him fingertips away from Darby!

Takeshita throws Darby but Darby rebounds, sunset flips just to get up and over, hot tag to STIIIIING! Sting fires off hands on Takeshita, on Starks, back to Takeshita, then STINGER SPLASH on Starks! STINGER SPLASH on Takeshita! Fans fire up as Starks and Takeshita stagger, into DOUBLE LARIATS! Sting then BLASTS Hobbs AND Bill! Bill stays up, steps over the ropes, but Sting YANKS the rope to jam him up! Sting shakes the rope to give Bill a rodeo ride, and Jericho intercepts Hobbs! Jericho puts Hobbs in a corner, then Sting claws at Bill’s face! Jericho throws some hands on Hobbs, then coordinates with Sting.

Sting & Jericho DOUBLE SPLASH! The bigger men fall, so Jericho & Sting focus on Bill. But Bill throws hands in return! Bill DECKS Sting, stomps him, then ROCKS Jericho! Hobbs CLUBS Jericho, kicks him out of the ring, and things go outside. Starks tags in off Takeshita, and he hauls Sting up. Starks throws hands from all sides, ROCKS Sting, then wrenches and goes up the corner. Fans rally as Starks goes Old School! Starks shows off, then leaps to AX HANDLE! Starks whips, but Sting holds ropes to then FLAPJACK Starks! Sting stomps Starks, and Sammy tags in. Sammy rallies on Starks, BLASTS Bill & Hobbs, then scoops Starks.

Starks slips free, shoves, but Sammy dodges to RAM and go to the apron. ENZIGURI, then slingshot- NO, Starks stops the cutter to TORNADO- NO, Sammy stops that! Sammy goes up, FLYING CUTTER! Cover, Bill breaks it with a deadlift! Sammy fights free, CHOPS and CHOPS, then ROCKS and CHOPS! Sammy runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, but into the BOSS MAN SLAM! Bill roars, fans fire up, but Jericho hits a CODE BREAKER! Bill stays up!? Bill hauls Jericho up for the SKY HIGH! Then Bill rains down fists! New York cheers its own as Bill whips Jericho to a corner. Bill runs up but into a BOOT!

Jericho goes up, leaps, MISSILE DROPKICK! Fans boo but Hobbs SPINEBUSTERS Jericho! The straps come down, Hobbs scoops and uses the WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS SLAM! But he’s not done! Hobbs wants to do Jericho like he did before! But Darby runs in, COFFIN SPLASH knocks Hobbs over! Darby then runs up, gets around, SCORPION DEATH DROP! But Takeshita runs in, HIGH ANGLE GERMAN!! Darby almost lands on his head! Takeshita aims but Sammy waistlocks! Takeshita switches, Sammy grabs Darby, Takeshita DOUBLE GERMAN SUPLEXES!! Sting storms in, Takeshita dodges and KNEES Sting!

Sting stays up, Takeshita tries again, but Sting blocks the knee to trip Takeshita up! And the step through, and the fans are thunderous for the SCORPION DEATH LOCK!! Takeshita endures, but Callis gets in with Sting’s bat! Or is that Floyd? Sting cares Callis off but it did save Takeshita. Fans tell Callis off, Hobbs storms in but Jericho hurries to trip him! Sting gets Takeshita back, WALLS OF JERICHO and the SCORPION DEATHLOCK, side by side!! Starks SUPERKICKS Jericho down! Sting ROCKS Starks! Sting has Starks but Bill BOOTS him! Darby runs up, but Bill TOSSES him aside! Bill runs up, but Darby dodges the splash!

Darby runs to SHOTGUN Bill down! Then Darby DIVES! They hit railing and fans fire up! Sammy is back, he feeds off the energy, but Starks SPEARS him down!! Cover, TWO!! Starks is furious but he hauls Sammy right up. Underhooks, Canadian Rack, ROSHAMBEAUX!! Cover, TWO?!? Sammy survives and Starks seethes. Starks mocks Sting then strikes his own pose, before he hauls Sammy up. Sammy slips free to SUPERKICK! And then torture rack! GO TO HOSPITAL!! Sammy isn’t done, he hurries up top! Fans rally up for the SHOOTING STAR!! Cover, Sammy’s team wins!

AEW TBS Championship House Rules Match: Julia Hart VS Abadon!

The Princess of the Black Throne has proven to be formidable and foreboding, but so has the Living Dead Girl. House Rules are in effect: No ropebreaks, a ring count of 20, disqualifications enforced, but also, Dealer’s Choice. Abadon’s choice: Biting is A-OK! Forces of darkness are colliding, will The House Always win? Or will the throne soon belong to another?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is the scariest of them all!

The bell rings and the two stare down while the fans rally for “Women’s Wrestling!” Abadon and Julia step forward, but Julia avoids the grapple and the heel kick. “This is Spooky!” as the two reset. They step up, Julia gets around to ripcord and snapmare, but Abadon fights out of that to then CUTTER! Julia staggers to a corner, Abadon runs up to clothesline, clothesline and clothesline! The fans rally, the ref counts, but Abadon keeps firing shots until 4! Abadon shrieks, then runs in again to clothesline! And clothesline, and clothesline! Abadon doesn’t even slow down, she goes all the way to TEN!

Abadon storms around, the fans rally up, and Abadon runs in, only for Julia to dodge. Abadon rebounds off buckles and catches Julia for a SWINGING SLAM! Cover, TWO! Julia is still in this but Abadon rains down shots! Julia drags Abadon down to dribble her head off the mat! Abadon turns that around for more hands! Abadon snarls and looms over Julia, but Julia throws body shots! Julia fires forearms, runs up, but into a scoop! SWINGING SIDE- NO, Julia makes it a CRUCIFIX DRIVER! Cover, TWO! Julia slithers back as Abadon sits up and the fans fire up. They both slither around, “This is Spooky!” and the two go forehead to forehead.

Abadon and Juila stand, Julia pushes Abadon so Abadon pie faces back! Julia choke grips, but so does Abadon! They fight for control, then Julia STOs! Fans fire up, Julia scuffs Abadon then throws down fists! Julia storms around, stands on Abadon’s neck, but the ref counts. Julia steps away with a sinister smile while Abadon sits up. Julia CLUBS Abadon, TOSSES her out, then goes out after her. Julia whips Abadon into the apron! Abadon falls, Julia drags her up, and Julia suplexes Abadon to the floor! Julia grins again and fans rally up. Abadon writhes while Julia leaves her behind. “Let’s Get Spooky!” echoes out as Abadon crawls back to the ring.

Julia SHOVES Abadon right off the apron! Fans are torn but Julia soaks it all up. Abadon rises back up, crawls back into the ring, and Julia looms over her again. Abadon throws a body shot but Julia CLUBS her! Abadon throws another body shot, but Julia CHOKES hero the ropes! But House Rules say NO ropebreaks! Julia makes Abadon suffer but Abadon endures, so Julia lets off. Julia spins but Abadon avoids the heel kick to HOTSHOT Julia! Julia sputters, Abadon runs up but Julia dodges to DECK Abadon! Fans rally up, Julia scowls and storms back up, to then clamp on a motorcycle stretch.

Abadon endures, fights up, powers through, and BITES Julia’s arm!! It’s House Rules, after all! Julia gets free, swings, but Abadon blocks to BITE that arm!! Julia freaks out, runs up but Abadon LARIATS! And LARIATS! And SLINGBLADES! Fans fire up, Abadon runs corner to corner, METEORA! Abadon pushes Julia out of the corner, runs up again, BASEMENT CODE BREAKER! Cover, TWO! Julia is still in this and Abadon is surprised. Abadon goes to a corner, climbs up, but Julia ROCKS her first! Julia ROCKS Abadon again, but Abadon CLUBS her back! They brawl, Julia climbs, and CLUBS Abadon some more!

Julia stands Abadon up, to SUPERPLEX! Cover, TWO! Abadon survives and Julia is growing frustrated. Julia runs, to BLINDSIDE LARIAT! Julia isn’t done, she says the House Always Wins! But Abadon reaches out for ropes! Abadon has the ropes but again, NO ropebreaks! HARTLESS LOCK!! Abadon fights around, pushes to a cover, TWO!! Julia lets go in time, spins Abadon around but Abadon reverses to shove and scoop! SWINGING SIDE SLAM! Abadon sits Julia back up, runs, and SLIDING KNEES her down! Cover, TWO!! Julia survives and Abadon is furious! The fans rally up as Abadon goes to a corner.

Abadon climbs up again, but Julia ROCKS Abadon! Abadon HEADBUTTS! And HEADBUTTS! And BITES!! Abadon gets another taste of Julia! Julia gets away, has the ref check for blood, but wait! SKYE BLUE rushes out here and SHOVES Abadon off the corner!! Fans boo as Skye scurries, but then Abadon sits up! Abadon isn’t letting that go, and she pursues Skye! Abadon drags Skye out from under the ring! Skye though the shadows were her ally, but now she begs for mercy. Abadon fires off forearms on Skye instead, then CLOBBERS her! Skye flounders, Abadon takes aim, and then runs in to KNEE Skye down!

But then Julia CLOBBERS Abadon from behind! Julia drags Abadon up, CLUBS away, then THROWS her into steel steps! Julia dribbles Abadon off the steps!! The ref reprimands, Julia drags Abadon up and puts her in. Julia climbs up and HARTSAULT! Cover, Julia wins!

Winner: Julia Hart, by pinfall (still AEW TBS Champion)

The House Always Wins, because the Princess had a trump card up her sleeve. Will Julia continue to reign so long as Skye is on her side?

 

AEW TNT Championship No Disqualification Match: Christian Cage w/ Mother & Nick Wayne VS Adam “Edge” Copeland!

Perhaps the greatest tag team and closest friends in all of professional wrestling, now the worst of enemies. If this sounds familiar, it’s also because these two battled just a few weeks ago in Montreal. Shayna Wayne helped Christian screw Edge over, but now there’s nothing holding Edge back! Are things about to get Rated R? Or will not even Worlds End stop Captain Charisma?

The introductions are made, but Edge doesn’t give Christian time to even get down the ramp! Edge attacks on the ramp, and fans fire up for the brawl! The bell rings, Edge CLOBBERS Christian, then scoops to LAWN DART him into the tron! Fans fire up even more but the ref says to get this in the ring. Edge stalks Christian down the ramp, stomps him, then DECKS him! Christian flounders, Edge BOOTS him further along, then Edge sends Christian into railing! Fans cheer, a fan offers Edge a drink, so Edge chugs their Heineken! Edge smashes the can on his own head then goes after Christian with forearms!

Edge sends Christian into more railing, throws off his vest, and he SMACKS Christian off the desk! And again! Nigel says Edge is a sick son of a- Edge says shut up! Nigel apologizes, Edge puts Christian in the ring. Edge CHOKES Christian with his own turtleneck! Then he rains forearms down! Fans want tables but Edge throws down more shots first. Edge grins and punches himself in the head where the can busted him open. The fans rally for “T L C!” AKA where they want this to go, but Christian bails out! Edge pursues, but Christian mule kicks! And UPPERCUTS! And sends Edge into railing in return!

Christian whips, Edge reverses and Christian hits steel steps! Christian tumbles up and over, but Edge storms up. Edge tells Nick to back off, then he stomps Christian around. Edge smothers Christian against the steel steps, then stands on Christian’s head! But Christian avoids the stomp! And runs for it!? Fans fire up as Edge pursues and they go up the bleachers! Edge catches up to Christian and throws hands! Fans fire up getting to be closer to the action as they go tot he very back! Nick runs up but Edge ROCKS him, and sends him into Christian! Christian shields “his son,” but Edge goes around somewhere.

Edge climbs up to the railing of the higher seating!! Fans are thunderous for Edge’s SUPER CROSSBODY!! The fans lose their minds as Edge takes Christian and Nick down! Edge rises up, pushes Christian back down the bleachers, and high-fives fans as they return to floor level. Edge throws hands to keep Christian moving, and then shoves him over the railing. Edge climbs up, fans give Edge some space, tightrope walk and FLYING CLOTHESLINE! Direct hit and down goes Christian! The fans confirm, “You Still Got It!” as Edge stands up and puts Christian back in. Edge stalks Christian to a corner, then throws down hands!

Edge climbs up and rains down fists! Fans count along and Edge goes all the way to TEN! Edge then lets off so he can take aim! Christian staggers forward, Edge runs in, but Christian sends Edge into the POST! Christian knows Edge too well for a Spear to hit like that. Christian goes out after Edge, fans taunt Nick and Christian with “Who’s Your Daddy?” Christian puts Edge on the steps, and he threatens to end it! STOMP!! Edge falls back, clutching his neck! Christian drags Edge up, puts him in the ring, and covers, TWO!! Edge is still in this, but his forehead is bloodier than before. Christian stomps Edge around, soaks up the heat, then goes looking for things under the ring.

Christian brings out kendo sticks! Mother Shayna says yes, and Nick grins. Christian storms in, and he SMACKS Edge right on the back! Edge grits his teeth as Christian SMACKS him again! Edge leans against ropes, seething, but Christian SMACKS Edge again! The kendo stick is breaking, and Christian fishhooks Edge’s nose! Christian says HE is the TNT Champion, then, now and forever, “you POS!” Then Christian CHOKES Edge with the kendo stick! Edge suffers and sputters but Christian lets go. Christian soaks up the heat, then goes back to Edge. Christian drags Edge around, stands on him, and then aims with the broken kendo stick!

Christian is literally going for the jugular! Edge BLOCKS the thrust just in time!! Edge can’t hold it back forever, so the stick still presses into his throat! Christian lets off, covers, TWO!! Christian blows a kiss, probably to Edge’s wife and children, then rains down fists! He’s punching that bloody eyebrow open, then he calls to Nick. Christian wants a couple chairs, so Nick gets Christian those chairs. Christian JAMS Edge in the back again and again, then sets that chair on top of Edge. Christian stands on the chair while flexing. Fans boo while Mother & Nick Wayne cheer. Christian sits down, to get the legs for an ASSISTED BOSTON CRAB!

Edge endures being bent back and the chair’s crossbar being duck into his neck! Fans rally, Edge powers up, and Christian panics as Edge gets free! But Christian stomps Edge back down! Christian calls for more goodies and Nick goes looking under the ring. Edge crawls while Nick brings out… A PRYBAR!? Christian swings, Edge dodges, EDGE-O-MATIC! Fans rally as Edge keeps Christian down, then grabs a kendo stick! Edge SMACKS Christian right on the back of the head! And then SMACKS him in the ribs! And SMACKS him across the back! And again on the back! Then Edge KENDO CLOTHESLINES him!

Edge puts on the CROSSFACE! Christian endures, the fans rally up, but Christian also reaches out for weapons! The prybar! But Edge brags that to put it in THE DEAL! Christian freaks out, flails around, ROPEBREAK! No disqualification but the hold won’t count, either! Edge lets off so he can go out and look for something. Fans fire up because here comes a LADDER! We’re building to TLC in reverse! Edge grins as he puts the ladder in the ring and brings it around. Edge sets the ladder in the ropes, then brings Christian around. Edge puts Christian under the ladder, to CATAPULT GUILLOTINE into it!!

Christian flails and flounders, Mother Wayne is worried, and Edge stands the ladder up now. But Christian finds the kendo stick and he CRACKS Edge in the ribs! Christian throws body shots then SMACKS Edge off the top rung! Christian shifts to SUPER SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB!! The fans are thunderous while both men are down! Christian crawls to cover, TWO!! Edge survives and fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!”

Christian dumps the ladder out, sick of it, and Nick helps move it aside. Christian and Nick then work together, to find a TABLE! The TLC is complete! In fact, that’s TWO tables! Nick helps set one up, then Christian goes for Edge. Nick says the table is set, Christian drags Edge up, and Shayna cheers. But Edge fights the suplex! Fans want fire!? And they say others are sick. Edge HOTSHOTS Christian, but Nick saves Christian from the Spear off the apron! So Edge goes out, kendo stick in hand, to SMACK Christian again! And then Edge finds a chair, to SMACK Christian again! They both go into the ring and Edge SMACKS Christian yet again!

Edge puts the chair down, lines up the shot, IMPALER on the chair!! Both men are down, but Edge doesn’t cover?! Edge puts Christian’s head on the chair, and then finds the other! “This is Awesome!” as Edge takes aim, and Nigel takes offense! But Nick gets in to stop Edge! Fans boo as Nick runs away, and Christian CHAIR LOW BLOWS!! Roll-up, TWO!! Edge is still in this and Christian can’t believe it! Christian has Nick pass him that second table, and that is set up in a corner. Christian then goes to the other corner, aims at Edge from behind, and Edge stands up as Christian runs in, but Edge leaps over!

Christian stops from hitting table, but Edge CHUCKS chair into Christian’s face! And then CHUCKS it again! Christian wobbles, Edge runs up, SPEAR through the table!!! Fans are thunderous again while both men are down in the wreckage!! Nick & Mother Wayne freak out, too! Edge crawls over and covers, but MOTHER WAYNE drags the ref out!! The ref reprimands but there’s nothing else that can be done! Well, maybe not nothing… Edge storms out and glares at Mother Wayne, but Nick BELT SHOTS Edge from behind!! Then he goes up the corner, SUPER WAYNE’S WORLD to the floor!!

Nick gets back up, sore as he is from that, and Nick hauls Edge into the ring. Christian and Edge stand up, stagger into each other, and Christian suddenly chicken wings, turns and KILLSWITCH!! Cover, TWO!!! Edge survives Christian’s best shot and the fans are thunderous! Christian can’t believe it, and he hurries to the outside. Christian and Nick get the steel steps, move them aside, and SURPRISE! Gasoline and a lighter!! The fans are losing their minds because they’re getting what they wanted! Nick says this is fun, and Christian tells Edge to GFY. Nick lights the table! Christian whips but Edge slips free!

Edge SPEARS Christian!! And DECKS Nick!! Mother Wayne panics as Edge adds a little more fuel to the fire, quite literally! Edge is making sure that table is dripping wet with gasoline, then he grabs the lighter! And then Edge gets Nick for a POWERBOMB THROUGH THE BURNING TABLE!! Nick flails and scrambles away for some stop, drop and roll! But Christian has the belt! Christian runs up, into a LOW BLOW!! Deja vu, anyone? And then Edge steals THE KILLSWITCH!!! Cover, EDGE WINS!!!

The Patriarchy tried all the tricks in the book, but Edge still wins!! Edge now adds this title to his illustrious list of accolades, but WAIT! KILLSWITCHASAURUS!!! He BLINDSIDE LARIATS EDGE!!! Fans boo as Luchasaurus drags Edge up, choke grips, and JURASSIC CHOKE SLAMS Edge!! And then he gets a chair! Mother Wayne is happy as Luchasaurus sits that chair up, hauls Edge back up, and JURASSIC CHOKE SLAMS Edge on the chair!! Luchasaurus is cashing in his- Wait, Christian stops him!? Christian wants Luchasaurus to hand over ownership of the contract? Fans say “NO! NO! NO!” Christian says yes, because he is Luchasaurus’ “father!”

Christian gets in Luchasaurus’ face, tells him to do it, and Luchasaurus hands the contract over. Christian takes it, signs it, and now cashes in!! Christian gets his instant rematch?!?

AEW Continental Classic Finals: Jon Moxley VS Eddie Kingston!

Speaking of best friends becoming bitter enemies, The Maniac said he’s only ever wanted The Mad King to give his all. And in return, Eddie has said he just wants people to finally respect what he’s done in this sport and for this sport. The Continental Classic was a wild six week series, and it all comes to a head here at Worlds End! Who leaves as the ROH World, NJPW Strong Openweight AND inaugural AEW Continental Champion?

Bryan Danielson joins commentary because if he couldn’t be in it, he isn’t gonna miss seeing this match with his own eye(s). The introductions are made, we finally get a look at the new belt, and we see who gets to wear all three belts out into the New Year!

There’s a bit of trash talking, then the bell rings. Moxley and Eddie circle, feel things out, and New York is on Eddie’s side. The two feel things out, Eddie gives testing kicks but Moxley shrugs them off. Eddie keeps up the kicks and it starts to frustrate Moxley. The two feel things out, go for a grapple, and Moxley facelocks. Eddie gets around to waistlock, they go around, and Moxley drop toeholds. Eddie fights back with a chinlock but Moxley moves around. They clinch, end up in ropes, and the ref counts. Moxley eggs Eddie on but Eddie gives it back. The two separate and reset, but Eddie uses a leg guard to taunt Moxley.

The two stand, circle, and Eddie keeps his dukes up as Moxley tries to throw hands. Fans rally and duel, Eddie uses feints and Bryan points out that is what you underestimate Eddie on. Eddie does it again, kicks low then hits a headlock takeover. Moxley headscissors, Eddie gets free, and Moxley says it was that close. Eddie and Moxley reset, circle again, and knuckle lock. They go shoulder to shoulder for a test of strength and the fans rally. Both men are evenly matched, Moxley shoots around to waistlock, snapmare and KICK Eddie in the back! Eddie gets up in a huff, and the two reset again.

Moxley and Eddie tie up, Eddie snapmares, and he KICKS Moxley in the back! Moxley stands up and eggs Eddie on. Eddie CHOPS! Moxley CHOPS! Repeat! Bryan says you don’t wanna get goaded into Eddie’s game, but oh well. Eddie headlocks, Moxley powers out, and they RAM shoulders! Eddie tells Moxley to try, they RAM shoulders, and fans fire up! Moxley throws forearm after forearm, but Eddie CHOPS! And CHOPS! RIDGEHAND CHOPS, then ENZIGURI! Moxley bails out to cool things off and Bryan likes the smarts of that. But then Eddie builds speed to DIVE! Both men hit barriers hard, especially Eddie!

The ref checks both men, somehow Eddie is okay to continue, and he puts Moxley in. Eddie shakes out the cobwebs, gets in the ring, but Moxley gets under the Uraken to GERMAN SUPLEX! Eddie bails out, clutching his head. Moxley baseball slide dropkicks Eddie out! Moxley hauls Eddie up, PARADIGM SHIFT to the floor! Bryan likes it, and Moxley soaks up the heat. Eddie tells the ref to leave him alone, he’s still in this. The fans rally for Eddie as he shakes out his arms, making sure nothing is numb. Bryan is disappointed in himself for losing to Eddie. Eddie gets back in the ring, and Moxley storms up to KICK!

Moxley KICKS, and KICKS, and Eddie tries to rise up but the neck holds him back! Moxley brings Eddie up to snapmare, run and PENALTY- NO, Eddie blocks that to KICK! And CHOP! And CHOP! And CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! But Moxley blocks one and that sends Eddie reeling! Moxley CLAWS the eyes, the ref reprimands, and Eddie goes to ropes. Moxley CHOKES Eddie, lets off at 4, and soaks up the heat. Eddie swings wild but Moxley fires body shots and stomps in return. Moxley knees low, reels Eddie in and PILEDRIVER!! Cover, TWO!! Eddie is still in this but Bryan coaches Moxley to stay on him.

Moxley gets the legs, turns Eddie over, and he hooks the leg for an STF! The fans rally while Eddie endures. Eddie BITES Moxley’s hand! The ref counts, Eddie lets go and Moxley is upset. But Eddie CHOPS! Moxley nods and eggs Eddie on. Moxley CHOPS! Eddie CHOPS! Both men nod and Moxley CHOPS again! Eddie CHOPS again! The fans fire up and even Bryan admits, “That was some chop.” Moxley drops to a knee and asks for a moment to catch his breath. Moxley CHOPS, Eddie brings down the straps! Eddie CHOPS! Moxley CHOPS! Bryan says to not make this a “pissing contest,” but too late! They CHOP back and forth!

Moxley CHOPS Eddie, flips him off, so Eddie CHOPS again! Moxley CHOPS, Eddie flips Moxley off! And CHOPS!! Moxley staggers away, returns and CHOPS! Eddie grits his teeth, CHOPS, but Moxley CHOPS! The CHOPS just keep going! Loud, blunt, all the same! Moxley runs, DOUBLE LARIATS collide but neither man falls! Moxley runs again, DOUBLE LARIATS collide again, and Moxley goes a third time. Eddie catches him for an EXPLODER! Moxley flounders but stands back up! Moxley storms up, but his bad leg holds him back! URAKEN!! Moxley falls over, but even Eddie is surprised! Eddie hobbles, drops to his knees, and that might’ve just saved Moxley.

Bryan coaches Moxley, “Don’t let this bum beat you!” Moxley goes to a corner, Eddie runs up to clothesline! MACHINE GUN CHOPS!! Fans fire up and then Eddie tops it off with a CHOP! Eddie says Moxley wants his all, here comes more CHOPS! Moxley gets away, Eddie pursues to JAB and MACHINE GUN CHOP! Moxley gets away again but Eddie isn’t letting up! Eddie MACHINE GUN CHOPS even more! And a DDT! The fans are thunderous, but Moxley CUTTERS! Eddie staggers up, to URAKEN!! Moxley rebounds to KING KONG LARIAT!! Moxley hurries to get Eddie up, but Eddie wrenches free to NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB!! Cover, TWO!!!

Eddie snarls, clamps on, BULLY CHOKE!! A very Moxley move, how Moxley once beat Eddie even! Moxley moves around so Eddie shifts to use HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! Eddie is sending a message to the whole BCC with that, and he goes back to the BULLY CHOKE!! Moxley moves around, alleviates pressure but Eddie still squeezes tight! Moxley fights up, rolls Eddie, then pops free to the BULLY CHOKE!! Eddie rolls, Moxley pushes up to have even more pressure! Eddie kicks around, but Moxley shifts to a REAR NAKED CHOKE, with the body scissors! Fans rally, Eddie fights around, but Moxley stays hooked on!

The ref checks Eddie, the hand drops once. The hand drops twice! Eddie revives on the third time! Eddie rises up, reaches out, Bryan coaches Moxley but Eddie still has the ROPEBREAK! Moxley lets go at 4, Eddie sputters and coughs, and both men stand. Moxley flips off the fans but they boo and flip him off in return. Moxley runs up, into the URAKEN!!! Eddie staggers, covers, TWO?!? Moxley survives the Backfist to the Future trilogy, but Eddie scoops! NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Moxley survives again!! Bryan is relieved but he is also frustrated. The fans rally as hard as they can as both men rise.

Eddie drags Moxley up, reels him in, but Moxley fights the lift! Eddie keeps trying, but then he gives Moxley some Kawada Knees. Moxley CLOBBERS Eddie!! Eddie sputters while he and Moxley are both down. The fans rally as hard as ever, the two crawl to each other and go forehead to forehead. Then they go forearm for forearm! And then headbutt for headbutt! Moxley fires a flurry! But Eddie SLAPS Moxley while he falls back! Moxley stands up, draws a line in the sand and dares Eddie to do something. “This is Awesome!” as Eddie stands. Moxley SLAPS Eddie, so Eddie SLAPS back! Now it’s a palm strike slap fight!!

The fans fire up, Moxley CHOKES Eddie then SLAPS! URAKEN THE FOURTH!!! Cover, EDDIE WINS!!!!

Winner: Eddie Kingston, by pinfall (INAUGURAL AEW Continental Champion)

New York can’t believe it, Bryan can’t believe it, but we must all accept it! Eddie ain’t no bum, he’s the TRIPLE CROWN CHAMPION!! He keeps the ROH World Championship, he keeps the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship, and is the first man to hold the newly minted AEW Continental Championship! Bryan says everyone put their heart and soul into this tournament, so he commends Eddie for making it to the end. The fans chant “You Deserve It!” And best of all, Moxley shows his friend and rival respect with a HUG! The Mad King has three thrones, will he be to hold onto them all in the New Year?

 

AEW World Championship: MJF VS Samoa Joe!

Maxwell Jacob Friedman admitted himself that he never ever expected someone could pull one over on him. The Samoan Submission Machine made a deal with that Devil of AEW and now has MJF right where he wants him. But will that mean Joe ends the historic title reign? Or will MJF only become more dangerous now that he’s cornered?

After Joe makes his entrance, a video plays. “Who’s the greatest wrestler?” “It’s Samoa Joe!” “Nah!” “Are you kidding me?” “Get outta here!” “I’m just messing with you. It’s MJF.” Some say MJF lost the fastball, that he got friendly, that he got weak. HAH! If you believe that, then you ain’t from Long Island. They know who they are, and so does he. They’re the Salt of the Earth, and they ain’t going nowhere. They can be rocked, shocked, but always come back. They don’t change, and neither does MJF. There are wrestlers, and then there’s MJF. He and the one young lady did it in the back of her car for five HOURS, doing things to things she didn’t even know she had. And yeah, he’s better than you.

And if you don’t know, you’re about to find out. Why? Because MJF is THEIR Scumbag! One guy doesn’t wanna play along but gets threatened. Long Island puts on the Burberry for MJF, and the fans even chant “He’s Our Scumbag!” Joe isn’t amused. But here comes the champ, “The King of Long Island!” Fans cheer and chant, “Welcome Home! Welcome Home!” But then MJF points to the ramp and SURPRISE, ADAM COLE BAYBAY!! Joe is furious to see this, but Cole still has his crutches as he makes his way out here. Fans are thunderous to have the brochachos here together! The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who survives Worlds End!

The bell rings and the fans are already telling Joe off. Joe and MJF circle, Joe grinning but MJF strutting. Cole and the fans applaud but Joe doesn’t care. They tie up, and Joe shoves MJF away! MJF goes to a corner, Joe storms up but MJF uses the ropes as a defense. The ref backs Joe off, and MJF sneaks the eye poke! Fans cheer and MJF fires off forearms! MJF stomps away in a corner, then fires up with the fans! MJF goes corner to corner, but Joe URENAGES him down! Fans boo and MJF writhes but Joe soaks up the heat. Joe stomps MJF, JABS him and JABS him and has him in the corner for JAB after JAB!

Joe says Long Island sucks, then stomps MJF down! MJF gets up to pie face Joe but Joe DECKS MJF! Fans tell Joe off more, but Joe just soaks it all up. Joe brings MJF up to snapmare and CHOP him on the back! Then a KICK to the front, followed by a LEG DROP on the bad arm! MJF writhes and flounders while Joe mocks him. Joe looms over MJF, then clamps a claw into the bad shoulder! MJF endures, Cole and the fans rally, and MJF fights up. MJF throws free of the grip, CHOPS and CHOPS, but Joe ducks! MJF CHOPS with the left, but that’s the bad arm! Joe atomic drops high and hard, to then BOOT MJF down!

Joe keeps going, and he SLAMS the bad arm down, to then SENTON onto it! Joe is having fun while MJF writhes again. Joe hauls MJF up, whips him to a corner, and back elbows to then PELE! MJF wobbles, Joe hoists him up top! Joe tucks MJF in and brings MJF out! But MJF fights free! Cole fires up and MJF DUMPS Joe out! Joe gets back up, hurries back in, and he drags MJF back up. MJF cradles! TWO!! Joe is up, MJF ducks ‘n’ dodges him, sunset flips him, TWO! The bad arm held him back, but MJF avoids the Penalty Kick to roll-up! TWO, and MJF SUPERKICKS Joe! Fans fire up with MJF as MJF gets the bad arm moving.

MJF raises his hands, to take the kangaroo stance! Fans fire up for the KANGA- NO! Joe catches MJF to CATAPULT him up and out! MJF tries to skin the cat but the bad arm gives up! Wait, MJF grits his teeth and still grabs the ropes! MJF skins the cat, but Joe SHOTGUNS MJF down!! MJF staggers to his feet, and Joe DIVES out onto him! Direct hit and MJF tumbles to the ramp! Cole coaches MJF but that’s all he can do. Joe storms up on MJF, drags him over and puts him back into the ring. Joe drags MJF up, fireman’s carries, and DEATH VALLEY DRIVERS! Cover, TWO!! MJF is still in this and Joe is annoyed.

Cole pounds the apron and the fans rally with him. MJF flounders to the corner but Joe is on him again. Joe stands MJF up, but MJF CHOPS and CHOPS and swings, into a GERMAN SUPLEX! Joe holds on, changes to a full nelson, and DRAGON SUPLEXES! Joe hauls MJF up again, to STRAITJACKET GERMAN!! Cover, ROPEBREAK! MJF survives by a literal foot! The fans fire up but Joe seethes. Joe stalks MJF as MJF crawls to ropes. MJF goes to the apron, but Joe just smirks. Joe goes out to the apron to haul MJF up by his arm brace! And Joe reels MJF in, but MJF blocks by holding ropes!

Cole coaches MJF and MJF throws hands. Joe HEADBUTTS MJF, then hoists him up. Wait, Joe tucks MJF here?! APRON MUSCLE BUSTER!!! Cole is speechless and the fans are freaking out! MJF also hit ropes, that was a rough landing! Joe drags MJF up by his waistband and arm brace to haul him into the ring. Cover, TWO!?!? MJF survives and the fans are thunderous! Joe is rather surprised himself, but he drags MJF back up. Joe CHOPS MJF but MJF pushes back. So Joe SLAPS MJF! Cole tells MJF to fight with everything he’s got, but Joe hoists him up again. The fans rally for MJF as hard as they can and he powers up!

MJF HEADBUTTS Joe, and HEADBUTTS, but Joe runs up! MJF jumps up and over, DREAM SMASHER ELBOW! Joe leans against ropes and the fans fire up! MJF grabs Joe by the head, to bump him off the buckles! The fans count along, and MJF goes all the way to TEN! MJF then climbs up, and he rains down fists! Fans count along again, and MJF goes all the way to nine, to then BITES Joe’s forehead!! The ref reprimands, MJF lets off, and the fans cheer MJF on. MJF gets the bad arm up again, so that he can hit the kangaroo stance! Fans fire up again, MJF runs in, but Joe BOOTS him down! Joe then goes up, but MJF pokes him in the eyes!

MJF hurries to fireman’s carry Joe?! Even Cole is surprised by this! But MJF’s legs give out and he falls! Joe stands as MJF goes to another corner. Joe runs up, but into an ELBOW! MJF goes up now, to DOUBLE STOMP Joe’s arm! Fans fire up as MJF shoulder tackles Joe to the apron! But Joe choke grips! MJF HOTSHOTS that arm, and reels Joe in, for the HEATSEEKER!! Cover, TWO!! Joe survives and Cole coaches MJF to keep on him. The fans rally up again, MJF stands and storms up. MJF reels Joe back in, slashes his throat, and HEAT- NO, Joe stays up and he carries MJF from the ropes! But MJF uses that to sunset flip and stack, TWO!

MJF wants Joe’s arm! Joe fights the Salt of the Earth armbar but MJF uses Joe’s own finger tape for leverage! The fans rally, but Joe rolls through to turn it around! FUJIWARA ARMBAR!! Cole reaches out for MJF, pounds the apron, and the fans still rally for MJF! MJF fights and claws and crawls forward, but Joe pulls on the arm! The ref asks but MJF says no, he’s not giving in! MJF reaches out, reaches out, crawls his way forward, reaches out again, and has the ROPEBREAK!! The fans fire up as Joe lets off in frustration. Joe glares at MJF while Cole coaches MJF on. MJF gets a leg on the ropes but Joe drags MJF up.

But MJF wants Joe’s arm! Joe stays on his feet, powers through, and has the SLEEPER! MJF flails, claws at Joe’s arms, then RAMS Joe into the ref! Fans freak out, Cole is worried, but MJF grins! MJF’s still a sneaky little devil himself, y’know! MJF runs up but Joe BOOTS him! Joe goes up, but Joe UPPERCUT LOW BLOWS!! And then MJF fireman’s carries!! MJF marches with Joe on his back and the fans are thunderous for the F5!!!! Both men are down and Nassau is thunderous! Cole is loving it as MJF now has a chance! MJF crawls to Joe, the ref is stirring, and MJF manages a cover. Cole shouts for the ref to see this! MJF would’ve won by now!!

The ref is up, he counts but so slowly!! TWO!!! Joe survives, partially because of MJF’s savvy coming back to bite him. But MJF says it’s time for pinkie’s out! Cole has the ring- Or, he should…? Oh, there it is! But Joe gets the COQUINA CLUTCH!! MJF runs, pushes off buckles, rolls back to a cover! TWO!!! COQUINA CLUTCH!!! MJF clubs at Joe, claws at what he can, and the fans rally up as hard as they have all night! But MJF is fading out! The ref checks, the arm drops once. Then the arm drops twice! MJF’s arm drops THREE TIMES, JOE WINS!?!?

Winner: Samoa Joe, by submission (NEW AEW World Champion)

Samoa Joe made his deal with The Devil, and now prospers from it! Joe gave up the ROH World Television Championship so he could stay hungry for a greater prize, and here is the fruits of that labor! What will AEW look like now under Samoa Joe’s reign?

As for MJF, Cole checks on him. Cole assures MJF he has nothing to be ashamed off, that was an amazing match at the end of a historic reign. Fans call BS but Cole wants them to understand, MJF did his best. Wait, wait, wait! The Devil’s Minions are here?! Why?! What more does The Devil have to take from MJF? They’re even bringing the ROH World Tag Team Championships here? Insult to injury, perhaps? The Minions rush in, they swarm MJF and hold Cole back! The fans boo as one even has a chair! Cole wants them to let MJF go, and dares them to hit him! MJF says no, he wants them to hit him! Each friend is standing up for the other!

The Minion with the chair aims at Adam, but then the lights go out?! What now?! The Minions are already here! Unless… The Devil Himself?! The lights come back, and- Adam’s sitting in the chair?!? The Minions stand by Adam’s side as he looks up at MJF. And REVEAL!! The Minions have been Roderick Strong, The Kingdom AND Wardlow!! We knew Wardlow wanted revenge on MJF in the worst way possible, and that Roddy & The Kingdom never liked MJF, but… Adam?! MJF’s words about no one ever pulling one over on him, they’re now tenfold! MJF asks how Cole could do this to him, but then STRONG KNEE!!

The Minions, or rather, Roddy, The Kingdom & Wardlow, beat MJF down, while Adam Cole watches…! Wardlow POWERBOMBS MJF!! Cole reveals he’s had The Devil’s Mask all along!! He’s the one who stole it all those months ago, and he used it to destroy MJF! Cole returns the mask to MJF, and he stands with his true friends now. As Tony Schiavone asks on commentary, how long have they been planning this? Is this truly the end of MJF’s world as he knows it?

My Thoughts:

A great PPV here for the first Worlds End, though I won’t say it was at the level of other PPVs this year. Granted, plans probably still weren’t as originally intended because Adam Cole is legit injured, and MJF might himself be dealing with some legit damage. Cole can’t take the title off MJF in 2023, so it is great that Joe did. Joe will get to have title feuds with whoever they want in 2024 while we get MJF probably against Wardlow while we still wait on Cole’s rehab. The way they did the reveal was very well done, though. Cole was so genuine the whole time, until the moment the flip switched.

And for anyone complaining that it’s Roddy, Kingdom & Wardlow, you need to understand it’s to make the point that Cole’s “real friends” have and always still be Roddy & The Kingdom, and Wardlow is willing to work with these guys because they all get to ruin MJF’s life. I’d love for this coming Dynamite, the aftermath episode that is also the first of 2024, to give us the clues, the hints, because I feel like they could really surprise some of us with how deep this went.

Meanwhile, a bit of a shame that we didn’t get Keith Lee VS Swerve Strickland because of more actual injuries. Get well soon, Keith, you deserve better. As for Swerve, maybe he has a point saying not to waste his time. Dustin got to have a great showing, but did he need to have a great showing? Why not just keep it to the No Contest so Swerve’s point of belonging in the world title scene is proven? Andrade VS Miro was also really good stuff, and it also went how I expected with CJ Perry turning to reunite with Miro. But in a way, Andrade also deserves better. Why hasn’t he been with LFI since their return? LFI with Andrade could be running Collision.

Really good Zero Hour matches, as usual. Willow and Kris had a great match, I like that there’s this story building with them and Stokely, we could get some good stuff out of this. Hook VS Yuta was a lot of fun, and of course Hook retains. Here’s hoping for the flipside soon, with Hook showing Yuta he can totally Pure Rules better than Yuta, but it also needs to be something where all the ropebreaks are used up and we get past 15 minutes in that 20 (or is it longer for title matches?) minute time limit. And then Hook should be showing up in ROH all the time taking on all sorts of challengers, maybe people will watch ROH for Hook.

The 20 Man Battle Royal was a lot of fun, another bright spot in anything AEW does. It was great to see Killswitch Luchasaurus win that, but to cut to the TNT title No DQ match, I wish Luchasaurus would just man-dino up and tell Christian to buzz off. The No DQ match itself was really good, even with Nick and Shayna Wayne helping out as expected, and Edge winning against those odds was the right move. But again, Killswitchasaurus should’ve decked Christian, cashed in for himself, and won the title off Edge to shift the rivalry from Edge and Christian to Luchasaurus and Christian. Or even just take a cue from WWE and do a Rollins Heist of the Century, Triple Threat and Luchasaurus beats both legends to establish himself. But hey, Nick sorta didn’t take a burning table bomb, so there’s that.

Really good Continental Classic All Star 8 Man, but I wouldn’t have done it by Faces VS Heels, I would’ve done it Gold League VS Blue League to prove which league had the better roster. Still good for Garcia to win it for his team, and then Brody going after Menard, I’m not sure how an X-JAS VS House of Black feud would work but maybe that was really more to motivate Garcia being FTR’s third man to face the full House of Black. The other 8 Man Tag was also really good stuff, and it was great for Sammy to get the win in it for his team, but without touching too much on it, Jericho’s got a lot of real-life heat on him, the fans sure shared their opinions, and it just kinda ruined the moment for everyone. Feels like Le Sex Gods are NOT winning the tag titles at this point.

Great title matches in the Women’s Division. Storm VS Riho was really good, but not as long as I expected. I would’ve thought Riho being the OG would’ve really pushed Storm there, but guess not. Also, I almost through Mariah was gonna turn on Storm here, given she had a bucket in her hand she could’ve cracked Storm with, but nope. Storm is doing amazing work, though, so she deserved to retain tonight. Julia VS Abadon was really good, too, but I should’ve figured Skye would help Julia cheat this win. Feels like there should be something in it for Skye, though, like Julia helping Skye get the top title in return.

And just an awesome match from Moxley VS Eddie, perhaps actual best match of the night. Bryan was great on commentary, too, definitely a possibility for him after he retires. And perfect choice in Eddie winning, that was the real New York Cinderella story for tonight. That Continental Championship looks great, though all the AEW belts look great, and I can’t wait for Eddie to show us how a workhorse champion really does it. Eddie on Collision, Eddie on ROH, Eddie on NJPW Strong, defending each title on each brand, he was already a great reason to watch, he’s gonna be an even greater reason to watch in 2024.
