It’s Cincinnati VS Cleveland here in St. Louis, and the fans are all fired up as The Maniac is back on an AEW show! Moxley won big at NJPW’s Battle in the Valley, will he take that momentum to win big again? Or will this Collision be won by Big Bad Shaney T. Boy?

The bell rings and the two circle. Shane JABS, JABS but Moxley throws forearms! They go shot for shot, heavier and heavier, and Shane gets the edge. Moxley kicks low, KICKS legs, then has Shane against ropes as he CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Moxley clinches, fires a forearm then runs, to LARIAT! Shane stays up and he ROCKS Moxley! Moxley staggers and falls in a corner, fans boo but Shane talks trash. Shane stands on Moxley’s head, then stands him up in a corner. Shane CHOPS and Moxley sputters while fans “WOO~!” Shane stalks Moxley and he CHOPS again! Fans fire up more as Moxley sputters away again.

Shane storms up on Moxley one more time, and CHOPS again! Moxley drops to his knees, fans rally up, and Moxley rises up! Shane nods, and Moxley CHOPS! Shane CHOPS! They CHOP back and forth, Moxley fires more forearms, then whips. Shane reverses to send Moxley to a corner, and Shane clotheslines Moxley down! Fans boo but Shane storms up to whip Moxley corner to corner. Shane runs in, but Moxley dodges to send him into buckles! Moxley reels Shane in, but Shane’s too big to lift! Shane back drops free and Moxley tumbles to the apron. Shane runs up to BLAST Moxley down to the floor!

Shane storms out after Moxley, brings him up, and then ROCKS him! And ROCKS him again! Moxley wobbles, Shane throws body shots, but Moxley sends Shane into steel steps! Fans fire up and the ring count climbs, but Moxley drags Shane up and puts him in the ring. Moriarty distracts Moxley , the ref checks on Shane, and then Moriarty BOOTS Moxley down! Fans boo as #TAIGASTYLE talks trash. Moxley flounders up, Shane drags him in, and Shane scoops to SIDEWALK SLAM! Cover, TWO! Shane clamps onto Moxley for a chinlock and he grinds Moxley down. Moxley endures, but Shane chinbars him while stretching the arm.

The fans rally up, Moxley fights to his feet, and Moxley reels Shane in to back suplex, but Shane makes it a CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Shane covers again, TWO! Shane drags Moxley around to stomp him, then Shane goes up the corner! Fans freak out as Shane leaps, but Moxley avoids the splash! Shane sputters as he sits up, and Moxley storms up on him. Moxley fires a forearm, but Shane gives it back! Moxley forearms again, Shane gives it back! Shane blocks a boot, rolls Moxley, but Moxley come back to CUTTER! Fans fire up and Shane goes to a corner. Moxley runs up to clothesline!

Moxley climbs up to rain down fists! The fans count along, Moxley goes way past ten, then BITES Shane! Moxley then runs, but Shane gets under to SAIDO! Shane winds up, but Moxley ducks the lariat to SAIDO in return! The fans fire up again, Moxley runs to KING KONG LARIAT! But that’s not all, Moxley underhooks! Shane wrenches out, Moxley ducks one lariat but the SOUTHPAW hits! Fans fire up while both men are down! Moxley and Shane stir, stand up, and Moxley headbutts! Shane headbutts back! They go HEADBUTT for HEADBUTT, then Moxley throws hands, Shane bobs ‘n’ weaves, HEADBUTTS and KNEES!

Moxley rebounds, into a SKY HIGH! Shane stacks, but Moxley makes it a TRIANGLE HOLD! Fans fire up while Shane endures! Shane reaches out, fights up, but Moxley pulls on the hold! Shane still deadlifts Moxley, for a POWERBOMB! Then Shane rains down fists! Moxley turns that around to return those shots! Then he HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! Moxley runs to REGAL KNEE! Shane rises up?!? Shane eggs Moxley on so he gets another REGAL KNEE! Cover, TWO!! Shane snarls, he gets in Moxley’s face, and the forearms fly again! Fans rally as the shots go faster and faster! Shane body shots, fires more forearms, and he ROCKS Moxley!

Shane swings again, but Moxley gets around, SLEEPER! Moxley wrangles Shane down to the BULLY CHOKE!! Shane endures, reaches out, but Moxley pushes up as hard as he can! Moxley thrashes the hold, Shane is fading! Shane is OUT, Moxley wins!

Shane didn’t tap, but he couldn’t hold out forever! What will it take for Shane Taylor Promotions to get those big wins? Fans cheer as Moxley gets the mic to say, “Let ’em hear you, AEW fans!” The fans cheer louder, and Moxley continues by saying, “Everybody watching, hear this. Right now, I am pissed off! I am pissed off beyond belief. I am hungry. I am hungry beyond belief! From this moment on, I am not taking any crap from anyone or anything. In the year of 2024, anybody who wants to step into the ring, anybody who wants to cross paths with me, anybody who wants to call themselves a teammate or a colleague of mine, you only gotta do one thing: KEEP THE HELL UP!”

The Rated R Superstar is 2-0 at his own #CopeOpen, but he is still chasing down the AEW TNT Champion, Christian Cage. Young stars like Griff Garrison and Lee Moriarty stepped up, but who will answer the call now? It’s Top Flight’s Dante Martin! Will Angel Dorado be a major road bump in Edge’s pursuit of Captain Charisma?

The bell rings and fans fire up as Dante circles with Edge. They shake hands and fans cheer the sportsmanship. Edge and Dante then tie up, Edge waistlocks, then headlocks. Dante endures as Edge grinds the hold, then he wrenches out to a top wristlock. Edge wrenches, wristlocks, and headlocks again. Fans fire up as Dante powers up and out, but Edge runs him over. Things speed up, Dante hurdles, hurdles and arm-drags! Edge gets up but Dante arm-drags again! Edge avoids the third, and fans cheer. Dante avoids the elbow drop, and gets that third arm-drag! Dante has the armlock and fans rally as Edge endures.

Edge fights up, puts Dante in a corner, then fires forearms! Edge whips corner to corner, Dante reverses, but Edge BOOTS back! Edge goes up but Dante GAMANGIRIS! Dante runs up to JUMP up, and he fires off fists! Edge shoves him away, Dante backflips through, then avoids Edge’s crossbody! ROLLING THUNDER! Cover, TWO! Dante keeps cool, he knows Edge is a living legend for a reason. Edge blocks the whip but Dante wrenches to JUMP KNEE! Dante runs in at the corner but Edge puts him on the apron. Edge blocks the gamangiri, smacks Dante off buckles, then waits as Dante falls to the floor.

The fans rally for Edge, Dante clutches his head, and Edge bares the crossbar? Edge is up to something as Collision goes picture in picture.

Edge has the fans fire up a bit more, and Dante makes it to the apron. Edge SMACKS him off that bare crossbar! The Ultimate Opportunist is always gonna be the Ultimate Opportunist, and he KNEES Dante as he gets back in. Edge rains down forearms, Dante’s in the ropes so the ref has Edge let off. Edge backs up, aims, and he runs up to BOOT Dante down! Edge tells commentary, probably Nigel, something about something, then he stomps Dante down. Edge drops an elbow, then rains down hammer fists! Dante is dazed but Edge drags him back up and around. Edge throws down elbows, not quite BCC Hammer ‘n’ Anvil style but still rough!

Edge CLUBS Dante as he lets off, and he hears the fans rallying. Edge drags Dante up again, hits a headlock takeover, and he grinds Dante down. Dante endures, even as Edge thrashes him around with a ever-twisting grip. Dante kicks around, Collision returns to single picture, and Edge still grinds the hold. Dante fights up, pries at the hold and throws body shots. Dante runs but Edge reels him in to BELL CLAP! Something he learned from Punisher Martinez? Edge then knocks Dante down and has the headlock grind back on again. Dante still fights up, the fans duel, and Dante throws body shots!

Dante gets free, runs, but Edge goes to reel him in again. Dante hooks free and ENZUGIRIS! Fans fire up as Dante and Edge go to ropes. Dante drags himself up, runs in, but Edge puts him on the apron! Edge runs, but Dante moves aside to KICK Edge away! Edge slingshots but Dante trips him up! Dante almost hotshots himself, stands up, and Edge slides under! Dante grips ropes for dear life, and he punches Edge away! Dante leaps, FLYING RANA! Fans fire up as Dante sends Edge tumbling! Dante then gets back in the ring, and he builds speed to then DIVE! Direct hit at the ramp and the fans fire up again!

Dante puts Edge back in, he aims from the apron again, and he springboards in, to CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Edge is still in this, showing he can still hang with a young stud like Dante. Dante brings Edge up, whips him, but Edge KICKS the back drop away. Edge swings, but into a half nelson! But he fights out of the lift to DDT Dante! Fans fire up while both men are down! The fans rally with “Let’s Go, Copeland!” and he goes to a corner. Dante rises, Edge aims, and Edge runs in, but Dante goes up and over! Edge hits buckles, and Dante goes up and out! Dante triangle jump springboards, NOSEDIVE!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!!

Dante can’t believe it but Edge’s long legs save him here! The fans fire back up and Dante drags Edge to a drop zone. Dante goes up again, steadies himself, but Edge ROCKS him first! Edge goes up after Dante, fires off forearms and the fans count. Edge settles for just five of those, but then Dante throws body shots! Dante CLUBS away on Edge’s back, then stands up. Fans fire up for the SUPER SUNSET BOMB!! Cover, TWO!! Edge survives again and Dante is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” as Dante goes back to the apron. Edge stands up, Dante HOTSHOTS him away! Dante springboards, but into a SPEAR!!!

Edge has to crawl over, and he clamps on the GRINDHOUSE!!! Dante endures, but he still taps out, Edge wins!

Three open challenges were made, three great young stars stepped up, and yet it was the Rated R living legend that won with a new wrinkle in his game! Tony Schiavone interviews Edge in the ring, saying that was one hell of a fight. Fans cheer that, and Edge says it gets harder and harder every week. What was he thinking with his Cope Open? Well he’s 3-0. Edge has to give all the credit in the world to Dante Martin, as should everyone else. The fans do cheer in agreement, and Edge says these kids have been stepping up. He doesn’t see any “veterans” doing that! It’s the young, hungry guys who wanna take a bite out of Edge, and there’s a lot of him!

Edge says he ain’t no Happy Meal, though, he is a five course dinner! And he doesn’t even know what he means by that. But he will say this: he will keep coming out here, he will keep working hard and working hard and working harder, just like Christian Cage said he would when he first came here. Fans boo Christian, and Edge says God bless Schiavone, but Edge is gonna keep working until he wins the TNT Championship to bring it back TO TNT so that he can be here every Saturday so that the fans can see “our championship” defended! Edge then tells St. Louis to bring the noise! The fans get louder, and Edge loves it.

Edge promises the next time AEW comes here and he steps in this ring, he will be their TNT Champion. Edge heads out, but will Captain Charisma have plans on stopping this Rated R series?

Backstage interview with Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli.

Lexi Nair is with the American Dragon & Swiss Superman, and knows that the last time either of them was facing Eddie Kingston, it was in 1v1 competition during the Continental Classic. Ultimately, Eddie got the better of them both. But with them now facing him in tag team competition, how are they feeling? Bryan says before this, he was feeling good until Lexi mentioned the losses. Those losses were the low points of Bryan’s careers, and the highlights of Eddie’s. But here’s the thing: for Eddie, that was a good run, but that doesn’t make him great.

“Being great requires that you be that good year after year after year, like I have, like Claudio has, and unfortunately, Eddie Kingston, that’s the best you’re ever gonna get.” Claudio wants to stop talking about Eddie. He already wasted 20 years on Eddie, he wants it to stop. And as for Ortiz, it’s his fault for being Eddie’s friend, he’s just gonna end up a casualty. Will the Blackpool Combat Club crush the Mad King and get themselves a shot at the Continental Triple Crown while they’re at it?

Lexi is with Dante as he regroups with brother Darius and teammate Action Andretti. They commend Dante on the impressive fight against Edge. The trio has been on a roll, having a great match against Private Party, and oh, here come Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy. Zay makes sure Lexi is looking stylish with a little pink hoodie. And Quen wants Zay to refresh his memory of what happened this week. Zay says he and Quen came back, and they beat the Martin Brothers. Action says sure, they got the W, but as far as Action and everyone else saw, Quen had to grab the rope to get that win.

Quen says he lost his balance, that’s all. But whatever happens happens. But what would happen if Private Party were to party with Adam Copeland? Oh, they do have a lot in common. They’ve beaten Top Flight, and are definitely Rated R! HAHA~! Darius says if they’re so confident, let’s run it back. Unless Private Party’s afraid. They’re not. Anytime, anywhere. Darius says bet. Top Flight heads out, will they get even with Private Party soon enough?

Thunder Rosa VS Queen Aminata!

With the TBS Championship chase still going, La Mera Mera is getting back in the mix! Will she get a huge win for her singles match return? Or will the Queen of Guinea prove herself worthy of a crown?

The bell rings and the fans rally up as Rosa circles with Aminata. They tie up, go around, and then break. Rosa reminds Aminata she is La Mera Mera, “best of the best,” but Aminata says she’s the queen! They tie up again, Rosa trips Aminata, rolls to wrench and headlock, but Aminata powers out the back. Aminata steps over to give Rosa the twerk attack! Rosa shoves Aminata away, then dodges Aminata to CHOP! Rosa headlocks, hits the takeover, but Aminata keeps her shoulders up. Aminata rolls things to a cover, ONE, and Rosa holds on. Aminata fights up, powers out the back and waistlocks, but Rosa switches.

Aminata pries the waistlock open but Rosa headlocks. Aminata powers out, Rosa tilt-o-whirls to roll Aminata up, TWO! Aminata stands up but Rosa runs her over! Fans fire up, Rosa runs but rolls over the dropdown. Rosa keeps going, Aminata hurdles but Rosa turns the drop down into a deep stack! TWO!! Aminata escapes, but Rosa tilt-o-whirls to sunset flip, TWO! Aminata sits on the cover, ONE! Rosa sunset flips, ONE! Both get up, Rosa tries another tilt-o-whirl but Aminata makes it a BACKBREAKER! Rosa crawls to ropes and Aminata storms up behind her. Aminata CLUBS Rosa on the ropes, then pushes her around.

Aminata stands on Rosa’s back, then KNEE DROPS! Aminata whips Rosa, scoops her, but Rosa uses that to tilt-o-whirl RANA! Aminata bails out, and Rosa WRECKS her with a dropkick! Fans fire up as Collision goes picture in picture.

Rosa drags Aminata up, puts her against railing, and CHOPS! Rosa then pushes Aminata to another part of the railing, and CHOPS her again! But Aminata turns things around to DOUBLE CHOP! Aminata puts Rosa in, but Rosa knees her low! Rosa CLUBS Aminata, then grabs the arms for a modified motorcycle stretch. Aminata endures, fights up, turns things around on Rosa, and drops back for a bodyscissor squeeze! Aminata then rolls it to a cradle, TWO!! Aminata goes after Rosa in a corner, digs her boots in, and Collision goes to break.

Collision returns as Rosa fights up out of a chinlock. The fans rally as she ROCKS Aminata, but then Aminata ROCKS Rosa! They go forearm for forearm, and then Rosa fires a flurry! Aminata gets around, snapmares and KICKS Rosa in the back! Then DOUBLE CHOPS her in the chest! Aminata BOOTS Rosa to a corner, and she rallies the fans up. Aminata goes corner to corner, to HIP ATTACK! Aminata rubs it in before she goes side to side, but Rosa dodges the boot wash! Rosa UPPERCUTS Aminata, UPPERCUTS again, then CHPOS and CHOPS and CHOPS! Rosa rolls, runs back in, and A-LIST LARIATS!

Rosa goes up, SWINGING KNEE! Aminata flounders and Rosa storms around. The fans fire up, Rosa builds speed, and she DROPKICKS Aminata against ropes! Rosa then NORTHERN LIGHT SUPLEXES! Bridging cover, TWO! Rosa KICKS Aminata, KICKS again, then KICKS again! The fans rally, and Aminata ROCKS Rosa! Rosa ROCKS Aminata! Aminata blocks a shot, DOUBLE CHPOS, then HEADBUTTS! Aminata Alabama Lifts for the AIR RAID CRASH!! Cover, TWO!! Rosa survives and Aminata can’t believe it! Aminata roars, puts Rosa in a drop zone and she stomps Rosa before she goes up.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion has her big return victory, and she’s ready to go right back to the top! Will Toni Storm and Julia Hart both have to worry about La Mera Mera?

Backstage interview with Eddie Kingston & Ortiz.

Lexi is now with The Mad King and “Monkey,” and brings up their main event match against the BCC. It has been some time since we’ve seen these two team up, though. Ortiz says that is true. Sometimes, families fight. They had their fight, but they put that behind them because they are brothers. “Claudio, Bryan, you might be a well-oiled machine, but you’re not family!” Eddie says nope, those two are not. So can they go now? Is this enough? Eddie has to get taped up, stretch, all that. Y’know, Saturday, Saturday, Rocket Man. Let’s go! Eddie heads out, and Ortiz says Eddie does his best talking in the ring. See you out there.

St. Louis fires up for the NEW ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions as Jay White & The Gunns make their way to the ring. BCG gets the mics, and Colten says, “FINALLY! The Bang Bang Gang has come back…! To Saturday nights, baby!” White says that was so cool! Did Colten come up with that himself? White’s never seen anything like that! But they have a better catchphrase, so here’s this. Guns up for the St. Louis Gold Members! And it’s a different vibe with the Collision Cowboys back on Saturday nights! But something feels off, it feels like something is missing. Fans cheer for “JUICE~!” and Austin hurries outside.

Austin goes looking under the ring, and surprise! #RockBoard Juice Robinson is here! Austin says now that the gang’s all here, and that they’re the BEST trio in the world, they’ve got two words for ya! The Acclaimed?! Billy Gunn says Daddy Ass & The Acclaimed have arrived, but hopefully they’re not too late for Jay White’s hot yoga class. But seriously, seriously, they’re here to congratulate the BCG, that’s all. After all, they won the ROH World Six Man titles, and The Acclaimed are still the AEW World Trios Champions. But they could do so much more! Caster says that is right, Bang Bang Gang. It is one thing to get to the top of AEW, it’s a whole other thing to stay there!

They’ve gone this far separately, but imagine how much farther they can go as a super group! Together, they would be unstoppable in the ring, in the back, and where it counts: with the people. And Caster knows the people wanna see Billy Gunn with singles gold. The fans cheer that! Caster knows the people wanna see The Acclaimed and The Gunns with tag team titles. And White, man, the people do wanna see him as AEW World Heavyweight Champion! So listen! The fans are already chanting “Bang Bang Scissor Gang!” Bowens says the Acclaimed got the runaround before, they ain’t taking it anymore!

The Acclaimed need an answer! And the BCG isn’t just answering to The Acclaimed, but to the fans! St. Louis, do you wanna see these factions unite?! “YES! YES! YES!” Bowens says of course these guys want it! EVERYONE LOVES THE ACCLAIMED! So guns up, scissors up, it doesn’t matter what you’ve got, this could be these six every single week! BANG BANG SCISSOR GANG~! White talks it over with Austin and Colten but they seem hesitant. Fans chant for the scissor, and just as the Gunns step forward, White pulls them back? White wants them to properly consider this. Then White seems to agree, they all SCISSOR~!

Mark this day down in history, because AEW has the biggest and wildest faction yet form right on TV! Will all these trios champions soon become ALL the champions in AEW & ROH?

Mariah May complained about how Deonna Purrazzo had to ruin everything! Toni Storm has her hush, and admits that she does know exactly who Ms. Purrazzo is. Toni remembers their time under the rising sun, their dojo days. And also being of very envious of The Virtuosa’s technical prowess. As for Toni, she is CURSED with this rampant sexuality. “But yes, darling, I will meet you. And I will greet you. I will complete you. And then I will BEAT you. And then… I will EAT you! RAR! Come, children. I’m ready for my pork dinner.” Timeless Toni is giving Deonna her opportunity, will she make sure Deonna regrets it?

Daniel Garcia w/ FTR VS Buddy Matthews w/ The House of Black!

#FTRedDeath fell to The House just last week, right here on Collision, but they were still the ones standing tall in the end. And as such, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler have Garcia’s back to make sure Malakai & Brody can’t stack the deck. Matthew Menard is also on commentary, will Daddy Magic be celebrating his “son” getting a big win tonight? Or will the Aussie Juggernaut make sure The House Always Wins?

The bell rings and the fans chant for “FTR! FTR!” Garcia circles with Buddy, they tie up, and Buddy powers Garcia to a corner. Garcia slips free, he and Buddy reset, and then Buddy throws Garcia down. Garcia gets up, Buddy clinches him, but Garcia turns that around. Buddy shoves Garcia away, and he eggs Garcia on. Garcia storms back up, he and Buddy tie up but Buddy headlocks. Garcia powers up and out, Buddy runs him over, and things speed up. Buddy runs Garcia over again, things keep moving, and Garcia hurdles, only for Buddy to run him over again! Garcia gets up in a huff and the fans rally up.

Buddy headlocks for a takeover, but Garcia headscissors. Buddy kips free, Garcia headlocks, but Buddy powers out. Buddy RAMS Garcia and he falls out of the ring! Garcia is frustrated but FTR cools him off. They pep talk that Garcia isn’t bigger and stronger but he’s still better than Buddy. Garcia gets in there, waistlocks, but Buddy switches. Buddy shoves Garcia, they RAM shoulders, and fans fire up as Garcia stays up. They RAM shoulders again, then Garcia ducks ‘n’ dodges. Garcia RAMS Buddy out of the ring now! Fans fire up with Garcia, as does Menard, but the House cools Buddy off now.

Buddy, Malakai & Brody stand on the apron, but FTR gets up to back Garcia up. The ref has everyone stand down, and Buddy steps in. Garcia puts up his dukes, but Buddy rushes him! Garcia dodges to CHOP and CHOP, but Buddy puts him in a corner as Collision goes picture in picture.

Garcia CHOPS, Buddy shoves, then Buddy BOOTS! Garcia runs up, Buddy goes up and over, but he jams his leg! Buddy has had trouble with that leg before, but he still waistlocks Garcia. Garcia elbows free, but Buddy uses ropes to block the whip. Buddy breaks the grip, hobbles, but he still dodges Garcia! Garcia goes to the apron, Buddy grits his teeth and comes back, but Garcia ROCKS him. Garcia shoulders into Buddy, but Malakai & Brody creep over. Garcia swipes at them, then shoulders in again, but Buddy catches him to a DRAPING DDT! Buddy pushes Garcia over but he still clutches the bad leg.

Malakai & Brody coach Buddy but Garcia flops out of the ring. FTR coaches Garcia up while Buddy hobbles out after him. Buddy drags Garcia up and CHOPS him! Garcia leans against railing, Buddy CHOPS him again! Buddy stalks Garcia around the way, glares at FTR, then drags Garcia up. Buddy SMACKS Garcia off the apron, pushes the steel steps around, and he brings Garcia over. Buddy has Garcia up top, but Garcia fights the suplex! Buddy throws body shots, hoists Garcia up, but the bad leg might hold him back there. Garcia ROCKS Buddy, leaps, but into a V-TRIGGER! Both men are down while Buddy shakes out the leg.

Buddy drags Garcia up and into the ring, glares at FTR again, then steps back in the ring. Buddy brings Garcia through ropes, Collision returns to single picture. and Buddy has Garcia on the apron. Garcia resists the lift but Buddy CLUBS him down! Buddy hauls Garcia up again, but Garcia still fights! Buddy CLUBS Garcia more and more, but FTR rallies the fans. Buddy still wants to get Garcia up, but Garcia has the bad leg! Garcia pulls the leg through ropes! The ref counts, Buddy CLUBS Garcia, and then uses the ropes to help in the V-TRIGGER! But Garcia still comes back, and he reels Buddy in for an APRON PILEDRIVER!!

The fans lose their minds, The House and FTR shout at each other, but the ref keeps them all back. Garcia and Buddy are both down, the ring count climbs, and the two stir. Menard also coaches Garcia, but Buddy stands first. Buddy flops over because of the bad leg, and the ring count is 8 of 10!! Then 9!! Both men spring up and in at 9.99!! The fans can’t believe this is continuing but Buddy and Garcia glare at each other. The two stand, Buddy SOBATS, then KICKS! The bad leg slows him down, and that lets Garcia ROCK Buddy! Buddy swings, Garcia ducks the backhand not JAB, JAB, and fire off shots from all sides!

The fans fire up as Garcia stomps a mudhole into Buddy! The ref counts, Garcia stands on Buddy, then steps away at 4! Garcia drags Buddy by the bad leg, and he SLAMS the leg into the post! And again! And then a HANGING FIGURE FOUR!! Is Bret Hart seeing this? Garcia lets off as the ref counts, Garcia gets in and CHOP BLOCKS Buddy! Then he body scissor rolls, steps through, DRAGON TAMER!! Buddy endures but The House shouts at him to fight! But Garcia drags Buddy from the ropes! Garcia bridges back, but Buddy grabs Garcia to DRIBBLE him off the mat! Garcia lets go of the hold, but he rises up first.

Garcia storms over, but Buddy V-TRIGGERS again! Garcia wobbles in a daze, Buddy V-TRIGGERS again! And then deadlifts to the JACKHAMMER!! Cover, TWO!!! Garcia survives and the fans are thunderous! Buddy hobbles and staggers to a corner but he keeps his eyes on Garcia. “This is Awesome!” as Buddy aims. Garcia rises, Buddy runs up, but Garcia avoids the stomp! Garcia puts up his dukes! But then Buddy copies him! And then V-TRIGGER! Buddy hauls Garcia up, but Garcia slips free of the bomb to trip Buddy, and jackknife bridge! GARCIA WINS!!

But then The House attacks! They’re sore losers, but FTR is after them in return! The fans are thunderous for the chaos of this brawl! Refs rush out here, along with security, but fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” Even the locker room has to run out here! The Outrunners, The Infantry, even the Iron Savages and The Righteous have to stop this from getting any crazier! FTR gets loose, as does Garcia, but there’s a wall of wrestlers in the way! Buddy drags Cash out to join him on the outside for more brawling! Garcia gets shots on Brody, and Collision has to go to break! What will it take to settle things between The House and #FTRedDeath?

Roderick Strong w/ The Undisputed Kingdom VS Matt Sydal!

The Savior of the Backbreaker told Orange Cassidy that their AEW International Championship match will happen, just not until AEW Revolution! Will he use these next six weeks to show Freshly Squeezed what is in store? Or will the #ZenAssassin get himself a golden ticket to the International Championship through this match?

The bell rings and the two tie up. Roddy wrenches an arm, wristlocks, but Sydal rolls. Roddy wrenches again, Sydal rolls again, and then Sydal clinches. Roddy wrenches out, Sydal wrenches back and fireman’s carry for the takeover. Sydal has the arm now, but Roddy fights up to arm-drag. Sydal headscissors to bring Roddy down, then holds tight. Roddy fights around, turns Sydal over, rolls back and ties up the legs to have the BOW ‘N’ ARROW! Sydal endures so Roddy throws him away, and the two reset. The fans rally up, the two tie up, and Roddy wants a leg. Sydal drops back, rolls, but Roddy waistlocks to lift him up.

Roddy wants the full nelson but Sydal arm-drags free. Sydal wants a lateral press but Roddy powers his way to a ghost pin. ONE, Sydal facelocks but Roddy fights up. Sydal uses the ropes, but Roddy headlocks him back. Sydal powers out, Roddy runs Sydal over! Things keep moving, Roddy counters hip toss with hip toss, only for Sydal to block. Things keep moving, and Sydal RANAS! And then RANAS again! The fans fire up, Roddy ducks the roundhouse but not the JUMP SOBAT! Fans fire up as Roddy bails out! Sydal then PLANCHAS, down goes Roddy! The fans are even more fired up, but Sydal tells The Kingdom to back off.

Collision goes picture in picture as Sydal puts Roddy back in the ring. The Kingdom creeps over, the ref reprimands them, but Roddy runs up. Sydal RAMS into Roddy, slingshots up and over, but Roddy holds ropes! Sydal goes Matrix to stand up, then he mule kicks Roddy and runs to SLIDING BOOT! Sydal fires up, the fans are with him, and Sydal drags Roddy up. Sydal KICKS a leg, puts Roddy in a corner, and then whips corner to corner. Sydal runs up to ELBOW Roddy, then he reels Roddy in. But Roddy suplexes first! Sydal knees free, fires off more KICKS to the legs, then has Roddy in another corner.

Sydal goes up, rains down fists, but Roddy turns things around. Sydal still ROCKS Roddy, but Roddy blocks the boots to YANK Sydal into a BACKBREAKER! The Kingdom cheers but they’re the only ones. Roddy stalks Sydal to ropes, hauls him up, and scoops for a BACKBREAKER! Cover, ONE!! Sydal is hanging tough but Roddy hauls him up, BOW ‘N’ ARROW RACK! Sydal endures being bent back, fights to get free, and he throws body shots. But Roddy picks him up for a GUTBUSTER! Sydal sputters while Collision goes to break.

Collision returns as Sydal fights free of another hold. Sydal runs, but Roddy turns wheel kick into a BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Fans fire up, Roddy drags Sydal back up, and Roddy fireman’s carries. Sydal fights free again, ducks Roddy’s chop, and tilt-o-whirl RANAS! Roddy staggers up and storms over, but Sydal KICKS and KICKS! Roddy pops Sydal up but Sydal RANAS again! Roddy returns, into a JUMP KICK! And another JUMP KICK! Sydal whips, Roddy reverses, but Sydal WHEEL KICKS! Sydal goes up, Roddy stands, into the METEORA!! A wild landing for Sydal but he covers, TWO!!

The fans rally up as Sydal and Roddy stir. Both men stand, and Sydal fireman’s carries, only for Roddy to CLUB free! Rody swings, but Sydal schoolboy bridges! TWO!! Roddy gets free but Sydal ROUNDHOUSES! Then the wrench and fireman’s carry, AIR RAID CRASH! Cover, TWO!! Roddy survives and The Kingdom coaches him up. Sydal and Roddy rise again, and Sydal puts Roddy on the ropes. The ref counts. Sydal lets off, and the STRONG KNEE hits! Roddy suplexes, END OF HEARTACHE!! Cover, Roddy wins!

We heard from both teams tonight, but now it is time to see them in action! Will the Continental Triple Crown show he and Ortiz are back on the same page as they take on the Blackpool Combat Club? Or will the American Dragon & Swiss Superman prove they’re still better than the man with three championships to his name?

The teams sort out and Eddie starts against Bryan. St. Louis is strongly behind Eddie as he stares Bryan down, but Bryan smirks. Eddie tells Bryan time is wasting, let’s go. Bryan gets up on the corner to get fans cheering him now, and Eddie says okay. Eddie climbs up onto a corner and fans cheer him now. Eddie says let’s go already, and Bryan circles with him. But then Bryan backs off to stand on the corner again, and he eggs on both the cheers and the jeers. Bryan then hops down so Eddie stands up on the corner again. The fans all cheer, and Bryan finally ties up with Eddie. Bryan headlocks, snapmares, and KICKS Eddie in the back!

Bryan does jumping jacks just to mock Eddie, but he and Eddie circle again. They feel things out, knuckle lock, but both men test the waters with kicks. Bryan taunts Eddie, Eddie almost gets a palm strike in. They keep testing the waters, but then Bryan backs away to the corner to climb up again. Fans cheer, and perhaps Eddie gives Bryan a pinch on the leg? Fans cheer and jeer and Bryan revels in all of it. But then the fans still fire up for Eddie as he and Bryan circle again. They tie up, Eddie snapmares and KICKS in return! Then CHOPS! And KICKS! And CHOPS! Eddie drags Bryan up, tag to Ortiz, and they DOUBLE SUPLEX! Ortiz covers, ONE!!

Bryan sends Ortiz to the corner, tags in Claudio, and Claudio UPPERCUTS Ortiz! Claudio tears Ortiz’s shirt up, UPPERCUTS him down again, then stands ove rhim. Claudio stand Ortiz up to UPPERCUT, HEADBUTT, and CHOP! Oritz CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS, but Claudio clicnhes. Tag to Bryan, the BCC double whips but Ortiz ducks ‘n’ DOUBLE SHOTGUNS! Ortiz fires CHOPS and forearms but Claudoi knees low. Claudio whips Ortioz to a corner, UPPERCUTS, and Bryan DROPKICKS! Claudio scoops Ortiz to SNAKE EYES off the buckles! Fans are torn as Claudio raises his hands and looms over Ortiz.

The ref counts, Claudio tags Bryan, and Claudio scuffs Ortiz on his way out. Bryan drags Ortiz up to drop toehold, and then he ties up the legs. Bryan stands on Ortiz’s legs, to then taunt Eddie with “You’re A Bum!” Bryan grabs Ortiz’s arms, pulls him back and back and up, into the ROMERO SPECIAL! Ortiz endures, Bryan sets him down, and then tags in Claudio. Claudio runs to BOOT Ortiz down! Claudio drops on Ortiz to keep him from Eddie, and clamps on a chinlock.

Claudio drags Ortiz away from Eddie, grinds the hold, but Ortiz fights around. The fans rally but Claudio shifts to a DRAGON SLEEPER! Ortiz endures, reaches out with a foot, but Claudio shifts to HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOW! Claudio clamps on a chinlock, but Eddie storms in to stomp Claudio! The ref reprimands Eddie but Claudio just goes back to Ortiz with another chinlock. Collision returns to single picture, and Ortiz fights up. Ortiz reaches out, but Claudio whips him away. Ortiz goes up and RANAS Claudio away! Ortiz then leaps but Claudio catches him! And SWINGS him!! The fans fire up as Ortiz goes around and around!

Claudio THROWS Ortiz away at ten, and the fans fire up again! Claudio tells Eddie up his, then tags Bryan. Bryan taunts Eddie, and he waits on Ortiz to sit up. Bryan says this is what you get for being Eddie’s friend! KICK after KICK after KICK! Ortiz gets mad, but Bryan KICKS him more and more! Ortiz stands, Bryan KICKS him again, and then again! Ortiz roars, he blocks a kick, CLUBS and ROCKS Bryan! Ortiz CHOPS and ROCKS Bryan on repeat! Bryan UPPERCUTS back! Bryan whips, Ortiz rolls and comes back to ROCK Bryan! Ortiz ROCKS Claudio, Bryan dodges once but the SOUTHPAW connects!

Fans fire up as Ortiz and Bryan crawl! Hot tags to Claudio and Eddie! Fans fire up as these two finally meet again! The straps come down and Eddie storms up! Claudio CHOPS, Eddie CHOPS, repeat! Then they go for forearms and UPPERCUTS! Eddie wobbles, but he CHOPS! CHOPS! And CHOPS! Claudio BOOTS back! Eddie KICKS Claudio’s leg again and again, then runs up to ROCK Claudio! Claudio BOOTS Eddie, but Eddie rebounds to ROCK Claudio! Eddie blocks the boot this time to fire CHOP after CHOP! Claudio blocks a chop to SLAP Eddie?! Eddie JABS Claudio! And MACHINE GUN CHOPS!!

The fans are thunderous as Eddie has an extra long clip for this one! The ref counts but Eddie lets off with one more CHOP! Then the EXPLODER! Cover, TWO! Claudio is still in this but Eddie says he’ll end it. Eddie half nelsons, then chicken wings, but Claudio throws elbows free. Short arm LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Eddie isn’t done yet but Claudio hauls him up. Choke grip, and CHOKE SLAM! Tag to Bryan, and Bryan climbs up! Fans are torn as Bryan DIVING HEADBUTTS! Cover, TWO!! Eddie survives and Bryan is actually surprised! But Claudio YANKS Ortiz down, and RAMS him into railing! Bryan then gets Eddie up as Claudio storms in.

Bryan UPPERCUTS, Claudio UPPERCUTS, and Eddie is the pinball between them! But Eddie CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS in return! Claudio UPPERCUTS, he whips Eddie to a corner, then runs up. Eddie BOOTS back, POSTS Claudio, but Bryan rolls Eddie up! TWO!! Eddie DDTS Bryan!! The fans fire up and Eddie reaches for his corner! Eddie tags Ortiz, and they get Bryan up. Ortiz runs, DROPKICK GERMAN SUPLEX COMBO! Ortiz hurries to cover, but Claudio drags Ortiz up with a gut wrench! Eddie ENZIGIRIS, and Ortiz OVERHEAD SUPLEXES! Ortiz & Eddie double clothesline Claudio up and out!

Ortiz DIVES to take out Bryan! Eddie DIVES to take out Claudio! Ortiz puts Bryan in while the fans are thunderous, and he covers, TWO!! The fans fire up again while Ortiz grits his teeth. “This is Awesome!” as Ortiz brings Bryan up. Fisherman but Bryan fights free! FLYING ARMBAR TAKEDOWN! Ortiz fights around but Bryan just uses that to omoplata! LEBELL LOCK!! Claudio keeps Eddie out, but Ortiz powers his way forward! Bryan rolls Ortiz away, and pulls tighter! Eddie fights against Claudio, and Ortiz fights around to get the ROPEBREAK! Fans fire up, Claudio goes to the apron, Eddie BOOTS him, but that just causes a HOTSHOT LOW BLOW!

Fans boo but Bryan grins at what just happened. Bryan then drags Ortiz around, has both wrists, and wants Eddie to watch this! DRAGON STOMPS! The fans are torn as Bryan stomps away again and again on Ortiz’s face! Bryan finally stops after about ten of them, and then he brings back the “YES! YES! YES!” Claudio keeps Eddie out as Bryan runs up, BUSAIKU KNEE!! Cover, BCC wins!

Bryan smirks as he watches Eddie check on Ortiz. Ortiz apologizes for failing his friend, but Eddie isn’t mad with him. The BCC says they want those belts, and then Bryan SPITS at Eddie. As if Eddie doesn’t already have reason to hate Bryan, will he have to slay the dragon once and for all?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, and some good story stuff here again in the wake of a rough ratings week last Saturday. For one, pleasantly surprised to see that Bullet Club Gold accepted The Acclaimed’s offer to join up without too much drama. I thought it was going to take another big “Faces make the save” spot, but the fans were plenty excited to see the group scissor fingers. Mogul Embassy going after Acclaimed on Dynamite, pretty sure Acclaimed wins that, maybe with BCG watching their back against some trickiness from Nana to return the favor from last Wednesday.

Great Open Challenge showing from Dante against Edge, and Edge is clearly working on being a submission wrestler with that “Grindhouse” crossface becoming his new finisher. He must want to make it a point that he’ll beat Christian with that in their rematch, not just another Spear or Impaler DDT. And good promo from Top Flight with Private Party to set up a rematch, that will be some fun stuff. Great return to singles action for Thunder Rosa and another great showing from Queen Aminata, with Rosa of course winning. Toni also has a really good promo calling out Deonna, so I’m pretty sure Rosa goes for the TBS Championship at this point.

Really good match from Roddy VS Sydal here with Roddy of course winning to keep himself sharp for the title match. Roddy will probably get on a win streak, similar to how Edge is building up a streak towards the TNT Championship. And apparently that’s going to matter again, because Tony Khan says it will. I wonder how long that’s gonna last this time. Though there is at least grounds to this revival of the rankings since Samoa Joe says it will be about wins and losses when it comes to challenging him for the world title. As such, we get those big singles matches on Dynamite, which are all going to be great.

Great stuff out of Garcia VS Buddy, and hopefully Buddy’s bad leg was more him selling than it is real damage. Great brawl to come out of that, too, and I really like the idea of the Steel Cage Elimination match. Escape won’t win it, everyone’s gotta fight it out inside the cage, and can’t wait to see who wins out. Also, nice counter-programming move given Collision will be up against WWE’s Royal Rumble next week. And then great tag main event, though Bryan sure was milking that opening round of taunting. Maybe they needed to fill time, because they got going on this with what? Half an hour left?

But BCC winning with Ortiz taking the loss makes sense, they’re going to take their time having Bryan and/or Claudio earn a shot at the Continental Triple Crown. And at this point, I’m leaning towards more Bryan since he and Eddie are tied 1-1: Bryan won during the Continental Classic’s round robin phase, but Eddie won during the semifinals, so a match for the belts as a tiebreaker would make for some great stuff as part of Bryan’s last year as a wrestler.
