As was noted yesterday, WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne was scheduled to compete for Destiny Wrestling this weekend, however has been pulled due to an unspecified injury and replaced with Tyler Bate and Trent Seven, the other two-thirds of British Strong Style (see that story here).
While there were no details given on the nature of Dunne’s injury or how long ‘The Bruiserweight’ would be out of action, today we have a little more clarity on the situation. According to F4WOnline, Dunne is suffering from a foot injury that is said to be minor.
Additionally, the next set of NXT UK television tapings are set for next Saturday, October 13th from the Plymouth Pavilions in Plymouth, England and at this time, ‘The Bruiserweight’ is still expected to be available for the show. Also set to appear are Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, Mark Andrews, Toni Storm, Jinny, Zack Gibson, Joe Coffey, Ligero and Killer Kelly.
Tickets for NXT UK Plymouth are still available and can be purchased at this link.
