WWE News: Survivor Series Kickoff Match Now Set

Survivor Series Kickoff
The final participants for the Survivor Series Kickoff match have been revealed!

Prior to this Sunday’s Survivor Series pay-per-view from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, the WWE’s brand battles will begin on the Kickoff show when RAW’s Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, The B-Team, The Ascension, The Revival and Lucha House Party meet SmackDown Live’s The Usos and The New Day.

Heading into tonight’s final SmackDown Live before the event, we were unaware of who would be going into the Survivor Series Kickoff alongside The Usos and The New Day, although with SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar scheduled to face RAW Tag Team Champions AOP, it was obvious to some fans due to a lack of options.

Following The Bar and Big Show’s victory over The New Day (check out Mitchell’s Live Coverage here), backstage we would see Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, SAnitY and The Colons before The Usos would walk in with a pep talk for Sunday. You can catch all the action on the Survivor Series Kickoff live on the WWE Network or YouTube this Sunday at 5PM EST and as always, you can keep up with the action right here on The Chairshot with Mitchell’s Live Report.

WWE News: WWE Announces Becky Lynch Out Of Survivor Series, Replacement Named

Charlotte Flair
WWE confirmed that Becky Lynch is out of Survivor Series!

If you’ve been following along today’s big story, SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was reportedly going to be removed from Survivor Series this Sunday, which WWE confirmed to open up SmackDown Live.

After a highlight package that showed ‘The Lass Kicker’ suffering what Tom Phillips on commentary referred to as a “broken face and severe concussion”, an announcement on the opponent for RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey was teased for later in the night.

That time would come after Rey Mysterio defeated The Miz, as SmackDown Live General Manager Paige would take to the ring and introduce the blue brand’s Women’s roster, including the champion Becky Lynch. ‘The Man’ would speak about trying to find some way to be able to compete on Sunday, but unfortunately didn’t find it. However, she would tease that they may meet again, stating that Ronda’s not the “baddest bitch on the planet”, but the “luckiest one”.

‘The Lass Kicker’ would then say she had to select her replacement and after looking the roster eye-to-eye, she would finally settle on Charlotte Flair telling her, “Go beat Ronda the way I would have”.

Would you have chosen someone else to replace Becky Lynch? Let us know on social media @theCHAIRSHOTcom and always remember to use the hashtag #UseYourHead!
