WWE News: Roman Reigns Attending Today’s Tribute To The Troops

Published

on

Roman Reigns is at today’s WWE Tribute To The Troops!

While tonight’s SmackDown Live will be taking place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, WWE will also be tapings its annual Tribute To The Troops special at Fort Hood, its second trip to the location for the event (see that announcement here).

One such Superstar who has been a big part of Tribute To The Troops in recent years is Roman Reigns, who rocked the WWE Universe by revealing he was dealing with leukemia back in October. Since, Reigns’ future in the ring has obviously moved to the backburner behind the seriousness of the situation in the minds of everybody, with no updates or any kind of timetable for a possible return to action being given.

Recently, Roman made his first public appearance since his announcement when he attended an NCAA football game at his alma mater, Georgia Tech (check that out here), but he has not made any official appearances for WWE. However, that is changing today.

PWInsider is reporting that Reigns is at Fort Hood for today’s Tribute To The Troops tapings taking part in all of the activities, but it is not known if he will be appearing on-camera for the broadcast or in front of the live crowd in the arena.
