Vampiro Reveals Alzheimer’s Diagnosis

Early onset Alzheimer’s for a legend of the business.

Legendary wrestling figure Vampiro has announced he’s diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

Vampiro, of WCW, Lucha Underground, and AAA fame, announced via Facebook that he’s been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer’s is typically regarded as the most common cause of dementia in adults. Vampiro is 51 years old, and according to the Mayo Clinic this is considered “early onset Alzheimer’s” as the symptoms typically don’t show until age 65. The average age of a diagnosis is 80. Early onset is typically genetic, according to the same report from the Mayo Clinic. Vampiro’s comments can be found below.
