Tonight’s episode of WWE’s Monday Night RAW got underway with General Manager Kurt Angle and Constable Baron Corbin coming to the ring to address the actions of Universal Champion Brock Lesnar from last week. The challenger for Lesnar’s title at SummerSlam had something to say however, as Roman Reigns would join them to offer his opinion on what happened, including Corbin’s lack of effort in protecting Angle.
One thing led to another and Angle would put the two in a match to kickoff the show, a back-and-forth battle where Constable Corbin showed he could hang with ‘The Big Dog’. In the end however, Roman was too much to overcome and Corbin came up short after trying to leave the match. Unfortunately for ‘The Lone Wolf’, Finn Balor would come down the aisle to cut him off, thus leading to Reigns’ win. After ‘The Big Dog’ was done celebrating, he would leave Balor to do as he wished.
Finn would make his way to the top turnbuckle and deliver the Coup De Grace to send another message to Corbin, the man who he defeated at Extreme Rules, but lost to recently on RAW. Later in the night, our commentary team would reveal that Balor will get his another opportunity in the ring against Constable Corbin, as the two will meet one-on-one at SummerSlam on August 19th.
