At last year’s Fight for the Fallen, Brandi surprised Allie with Awesome Kong and Brandi got to win. Yes, that’s important to talk about. They have a second chance at getting along. So far, it’s worked as their team has won. Mostly because of Allie. Really? Because that first match was all Brandi. Allie and Brandi argue and Dustin Rhodes comes in to stop it. He sees right through Allie. He knows what she’s going to do. It’s happened to him many, many times. Allie is going to kick QT in the balls and break his heart. How about not doing that? How about taking this opportunity right here to make the Nightmare Sisters a real team? They’re on a winning track, and Allie can prove she has a heart. “Don’t mess with my family, okay? That’s all I’m asking.” Then is this team still a team? Brandi would like that. Allie says it isn’t a terrible idea. Well that’ll have to be good enough for now.

Winners: The Dark Order, by pinfall
Still undefeated as a unit, Grayson and Uno serve the winless wonders another defeat. Will Grayson be a pivotal part of Brodie Lee’s victory at Fyter Fest?
A pretty good episode for Dark, with only a little bit to do with Dynamite’s Fyter Fest Night 2. Spears has another clean win but dirty aftermath, but it is more interesting to see Brian Pillman Jr. debut for AEW. I wonder if he’ll show up more and become more of an established name. Swole continues to win while waiting on Britt, but Britt definitely does good Heel trash talk after the match. I actually feel bad for Will Hobbs. Yes, it makes Orange Cassidy look awesome to one shot him, but that doesn’t help Hobbs. I hope AEW fanboys see AEW doesn’t actually do that many things different from WWE, because I feel like WWE would’ve done something similar.
Nakazawa was hilarious as always, but I almost thought this was going to be Dean’s first AEW win. One of these days, a “jobber” has to win to surprise us and give some buzz to Dark. Allie, Brandi and Dustin have a good segment, and I’m a bit surprised they had Dustin calling Allie out like that. Of course, it is the natural and logical move, so maybe they’ll change course on the story? Maybe Allie can be conflicted between The Butcher & Blade and Natural Nightmares, causing there to be a match between those teams. Speaking of Butcher and Blade, the 8 Man Tag was amazing for being a squash match. The combination move to finish things was incredible, but I feel like we saw it here tonight because it’s not going to work for Fyter Fest.
Kazarian has a good match with Luther and Scorpio puts on a great match with Serpentico, so of course SCU’s members win ahead of their Six Man Tag with The Dark Order. Likewise, Dark Order puts on a great match with Cutler and Avalon, and win to stay strong for their story with Colt Cabana and SCU. Grayson does a lot of the action for the Dark Order by the end there, I wonder if he’s moving up to be the true top henchmen despite being “Player 2.” I’m definitely intrigued to see what Cabana does in that match, but I feel it’d be much more interesting if Cabana goes Heel. Especially if it’s scary, spooky Heel like the Dark Order is. Cabana was definitely obnoxious Heel in ROH against Dalton Castle but that was short lived.
My Score: 8.3/10
