NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Triple Threat: Breezango VS El Legado del Fantasma VS Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch!
The action starts already as these three incredibly talented teams battle to determine who moves on to face Imperium! Will it be the fun loving Prince Pretty and Lord of the Dance? The all business Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza? Or the BritAm Brawlers and their one two combination?
The teams sort out and in this Triple Threat, it’s one man each! Mendoza starts with Oney and Fandango, but Mendoza BOOTS Breeze off the apron! Fandango goes after Mendoza with fast hands and the two brawl. Oney waits as Mendoza enziguris Fandango to then throw Mendoza out. Oney hurries out but Mendoza bumps him off the apron. They end up on the apron while Wilde goes after Burch. Burch CHOPS Wilde away while Mendoza tries to suplex Oney. Oney holds the ropes, pushes back, but Mendoza enziguris! Mendoza gets in to CHOP Fandango in a corner then whip him. Fandango reverses, Mendoza slips out and hits Fandango back. Mendoza climbs up, Fandango shoves him down to the floor!
The crowd fires up as Wilde runs in, dodges one clothesline but not the LARIAT! Fandango drags Mendoza up, Crucifix BOMB to the outside! Down go El Legado and the One Two! Fandango paces as he waits for anyone to get in the ring. The crowd rallies as Oney is on the apron. Fandango brings Oney up but Oney hotshots! Oney lines things up and suplexes Fandango! Fandango holds the ropes to suplex Oney in. Oney slips out, O’Conner rolls, TWO! Fandango cradles, TWO! Fandango European Uppercuts but Oney gives it back! These two brawl, Fandango gets the edge but Oney fires up! Fandango swivels hips but Oney CHOPS and CHOPS! Oney runs, Fandango clotheslines himself and Oney out! They keep brawling!!
The crowd fires up as Fandango CHOPS again! Oney EuroUppers, Mendoza TRIANGLE TORNILLOS!! Mendoza takes Oney and Fandango out then puts Oney in. Mendoza tags in Wilde and Wilde stands on Oney’s hand. Breeze tags in and gets in, but Wilde sends him into Oney. Wilde neckbreakers Oney to DDT Breeze! Cover on Oney, TWO! Wilde covers Breeze, TWO! Wilde grows frustrated but takes it out on Oney and Breeze with stomps. Wilde shifts to clubbing forearms and dropkicks Oney! Burch tags in and rallies with big hands! Burch throws EuroUppers and a whip, but Wilde reverses. Burch boots back, hops up and missile dropkicks Wilde down! The crowd fires up as Burch hits Wilde with a corner clothesline and enziguri! GERMAN SUPLEX and a LARIAT!
The Govenah is fired up and he has Oney climb. Burch Electric Chairs Wilde but Wilde slips out. They standing switch, Wilde fights out and hits Oney. Wilde kicks and clubs Burch to fireman’s carry but Burch slips off to HEADBUTT! Tag to Oney, they combine, DRAPING DDT! Cover, Mendoza breaks it! Breeze tags Fandango as Mendoza snap suplexes Burch. Fandango CHOPS away on Oney, whips him corner to corner, but Oney goes up and over. Fandango SUPERKICKS Oney, then SUPERKICKS Mendoza out of the air! Breeze tags in, they combine for the Fashino Fopa! LEG DROP!! Cover but Wilde is right there to break it! Oney throws Wilde out, drags Breeze up but Breeze throws him out. Breeze goes after Mendoza but Mendoza fires off forearms!
Breeze kicks back, runs, but into the SPANISH FLY! Mendoza puts Breeze in the drop zone, Wilde tags in and climbs, 450 SPLASH! Cover, but Burch and Fandango both break it! The crowd is thunderous as all six men are down! Mendoza shouts to Wilde and Wilde is on Breeze. Breeze spins things around, Oney BLASTS Wilde with a EuroUpper! SUPER MODEL KICK!! Breeze covers, BREEZANGO WINS!

This match was going a mile a minute and is over in the blink of an eye! Fandango and Breeze will have a chance at redemption against Imperium, will they make good on their second chance?

Dakota Kai says she’s in Io Shirai’s head, but will it be what’s in Dakota’s corner that wins for her? Pat McAfee wants to embarrass Adam Cole but will he just embarrass himself? Karrion Kross and Scarlett added literal fire to this already dangerous encounter. Can Keith Lee cancel the apocalypse?
Finn Balor VS Timothy Thatcher!
What better way to begin this milestone for NXT than with a man who himself set a milestone? The Prince and the Professor of Pain both wanted to be fighting for the North American Championship, but Dexter Lumis was a monkey wrench in those plans. Balor attacked Thatcher as a way of passing blame, but Thatcher attacked back to screw Balor over. Will the score be settled here as NXT enters a new era?
The bell rings and Balor goes right at Thatcher with fast hands! Thatcher tries to get a leg but Balor keeps hitting him. Thatcher manages a takedown and ground clinch then shifts to slap away on Balor. Balor puts up a guard, Thatcher goes after the arm! Balor sits up to go after Thatcher’s leg then get an arm! Thatcher moves to cover, ONE, and Balor continues to go after the arm. Thatcher fights free, pushes Balor and waistlocks. Balor counters with a wristlock but Thatcher clubs him. Balor keeps cranking on the arm but Thatcher gets a leg. Thatcher brings Balor down, digs into the knee but Balor uses his free foot to kick back. They knuckle lock, Balor drop toeholds to facelock. Thatcher pops out, facelocks back, and keeps a wide base.
Balor endures as the crowd rallies up. Balor gets up, Thatcher puts him on ropes to CLUB him! Thatcher facelocks again, Balor endures but Thatcher CLUBS him at the ropes again! Thatcher keeps with that facelock, Balor endures the grind and the crank and the crowd continues to rally. They end up on ropes again, Balor dumps Thatcher up and out! Thatcher gets back in but Balor kicks him while he’s down! Balor stomps away on Thatcher’s head! Thatcher gets the other foot and trips Balor up. Balor resists the toehold but Thatcher uses his own knee as a point of leverage! Thatcher cranks on Balor’s leg but Balor tries to chinbar back. Thatcher just cranks harder! Balor kicks with his free leg but Thatcher pulls on the foot! Thatcher shifts to a heel hook but Balor ropebreaks!
Thatcher lets go fast, to CLUB Balor down. Thatcher knees Balor in the side, laces up the legs, and fish hooks Balor’s face! The ref reprimands but Thatcher pulls Balor into a Bow ‘n’ Arrow! Balor endures, pops free and covers! TWO, and Thatcher kicks the leg he’s been after. Thatcher has the foot, stands on the other leg, and pulls! Balor endures being stretched apart as the crowd rallies. Balor kicks with his free foot but Thatcher KNEES him in the side! Thatcher KICKS Balor while he’s down, then looms over him. Balor gets right up to fire off fast hands! Thatcher puts Balor in a corner, Balor boots back! Balor trips Thatcher up and jackknifes but Thatcher rolls through! Thatcher gets the KIMURA!
Balor endures as Thatcher cranks on the arm! Balor turns over so it’s just a hammerlock, but Thatcher wants the free arm now! Thatcher pulls and twists from elbow to wrist to fingers! Balor endures as Thatcher slips in for the crossface, and a KNEE! Thatcher digs the knee in while he chinlocks. The crowd rallies as Balor endures. Thatcher knees Balor again then clubs him down! Thatcher clamps onto the left arm again but Balor resists. Thatcher clubs and knees again! Thatcher keeps Balor close with a facelock, and he wants the butterfly underhooks. Balor powers Thatcher up and over for a suplex! Bridging cover, TWO! Thatcher still has the butterfly hold! But Balor back drops, Thatcher sunset flips, Balor rolls through to basement dropkick!
Both men are down and the crowd rallies back up. Balor stands first but Thatcher sits up in a daze. Balor throws haymakers but Thatcher forearms back. They brawl back and forth, Balor uses a run to add momentum to his forearm! Thatcher throws a EuroUpper, Balor hits back with haymakers and body shots! Thatcher grabs Balor’s jaw to SLAP! Balor PELES! Both men are down again and the crowd is fired up! Thatcher gets to a corner, Balor stands up and Balor runs in to CHOP! Balor whips corner to corner, and CHOPS again! Thatcher stays up as Balor runs in, no Sling Blade as Thatcher knees low! Thatcher underhooks, Balor trips Thatcher up for DOUBLE STOMPS! Balor grits his teeth as the crowd cheers.
Balor clamps onto Thatcher with a dragon sleeper and drags Thatcher up. Thatcher slips through to fireman’s carry and even pull on a hand. Balor slips off but Thatcher throws forearms. Thatcher waistlocks, Balor pops out but Thatcher wrenches free of the facelock. Balor rolls, drags Thatcher into a cobra twist! Thatcher endures, pries free, but Balor dragon sleepers for BLOODY SUNDAY!! Cover, TWO!! Thatcher survives but Balor keeps his cool. Balor aims, runs, shotgun dropkick sends Thatcher into buckles! Thatcher is in the drop zone and the crowd fires up! Balor climbs up top, takes aim, COUP DE G- NO! Thatcher moved and Balor’s bad leg gives out! Thatcher is like a shark with blood in the water as he goes after the leg!
Balor tries to fight but Thatcher gets him for a Half Crab! Thatcher pulls back with the heel hook but the crowd rallies as Balor endures! Balor powers his way to the ROPEBREAK! Thatcher pulls Balor away from the ropes to try again. Thatcher KICKS Balor over and over, Balor kicks back! Thatcher goes after an arm now, Balor gets free to KICK back! Thatcher clutches his ribs while Balor gets back up. Balor brings Thatcher up, Thatcher enziguris! And GERMAN SUPLEXES! Thatcher seethes as he grits his gnarly teeth. Balor stands up, they both go around wanting control, and Balor gets the twist back! GROUNDED COBRA, TWO! But Balor gets a seated cobra twist! Thatcher endures, pries at the fingers, and frees himself while bending Balor’s fingers! ANKLE LOCK!
Thatcher has a wild look in his eyes as he keeps Balor away, but Balor rolls forward! Thatcher’s down and Balor DOUBLE STOMPS him again! The crowd rallies up as both men slowly stand. Thatcher swings but Balor ducks it to hit the elbow drop DDT! Thatcher is down again, Balor heads up top again! COUP DE GRACE!! But Balor doesn’t cover, he wants Thatcher to pay! Balor drags Thatcher up for 1916!! Cover, Balor wins!

A historic TWELTH win at TakeOver! The Prince certainly learned that Thatch As Thatch Can is a strong school of wrestling, but he still came out on top. Will Balor look to take on whoever is champion after tonight?
Vacated NXT North American Championship Ladder Match: Bronson Reed VS Damian Priest VS Cameron Grimes VS Johnny Gargano VS Velveteen Dream!
This title may have been vacated by the Limitless One, but the keyword here is “opportunity.” Many superstars were given an opportunity to get in on this furious five man match, but these were the five that rose above the rest. It was wild, it was incredible, and at times it was controversial. Will there be any question as to who is the NEW North American Champion after tonight?
The introductions are made, the belt is already high above the ring, and this Thicc Infamous Savage Heartless Experience begins!
The bell rings and Priest DECKS the Scott Steiner chain mail hood right off of Dream! Priest brawls with Gargano, Reed brawls with Grimes, and Gargano gets thrown out of the ring. Dream gets up but Priest hits him again while Reed stalks Grimes. Priest and Reed surround Grimes and start throwing haymakers, then Reed elbows Grimes down! Reed and Priest stare down and the crowd rallies up. But Dream shoves Reed into Priest! Garagano returns, school boy kick misses on Dream but the Famouser hits! Dream fireman’s carries Priest but Priest slips out. Priest lifts Dream but Dream lands on his feet to block that Complete Shot, into the Dream-DT!
Priest bails out and Dream SUPERKICKS Reed! Grimes returns, blocks the superkick and laughs, but he spins into Dream’s fireman’s carry. Grimes slips out, whips, Dream reverses to throw Grimes right out! Dream gazes up at the belt and hurries to fetch a ladder. But he looks for one under the ring and Grimes CLOBBERS him from behind! Dream crashes into steel steps and Grimes brings out… A step ladder? “Who put this here?!” Priest CLOBBERS Grimes and then brings out a big ladder. Grimes clubs Priest, runs but Priest moves, and Grimes runs up the ladder! Grimes is on the apron and he Penalty KICKS Priest away! Priest flounders as Grimes drags in the ladder. Gargano grabs the ladder and it’s tug-o-war. Gargano lets go and Grimes goes staggering away.
Grimes comes back into Gargano’s SLINGSHOT SPEAR! Gargano brings the ladder up but Priest is in and he ROCKS Gargano. Gargano hits back, runs, but into a BOOT! Priest brings Gargano up into the crucifix, but he has to BOOT Reed away first. Priest dumps Gargano and spins at Reed, but Reed catches Priest! Reed uses Priest to knock Gargano down! Then FALL AWAY SLAM for Priest! The crowd fires up for Auszilla as he intercepts Dream’s ladder. Reed pulls ladder and Dream in together! Dream wants Reed to calm down, but he baits Reed into dumping him out and over the ropes! Dream sets a ladder up, but so does Priest! They both climb, Grimes parts the ladders and sends them both flying!
Grimes resets the ladders and climbs them both, but Priest and Dream return. They split the Grimes as Reed walks under. Grimes hops down and Reed runs him over! But Dream and Priest ladder sandwich Reed! They both pick the ladders up, Reed gets away as they THROW the ladders! The ladders crash and almost hit Priest. Priest runs at Dream but Dream dodges to clothesline Priest out. Dream kicks Reed then kicks one ladder aside. Gargano and Dream grab the same ladder for another tug-o-war, Grimes runs in but gets run over by that ladder! Reed uses that ladder to knock both Gargano and Dream over! BACK SENTON!! Gargano and Dream are crushed but Reed isn’t exactly feeling the best. Reed drags the ladder up but Priest returns to throw haymakers!
Reed throws body shots and a rolling elbow! Grimes ROCKS Reed, whips but Reed reverses to LARIAT Grimes inside out! Reed picks the ladder up again and stands it up. Gargano climbs it but Reed pushes him away. Reed sets the ladder up, blocks Gargano’s huricanrana, but Gargano gets up and over to the ladder. Gargano kicks Reed away but Priest drags Gargano down. Priest choke grips, Gargano uses the lift to get up again. Reed clubs Gargano, brings him off, the two big men combine, but Gargano GERMAN SUPLEXES Priest and Dream chop blocks Reed! Gargano falls on Reed, but he takes a tumble. Grimes and Dream DOUBLE SUPERKICK Reed! Gargano gives them thumbs up, and they’ll get them together. Except Gargano tries to climb behind their backs!
Grimes and Dream stop that, so he folds that ladder up. Gargano and Dream use the ladders to RAM Priest and Reed over and over, then dig the ladders into the behemoths’ heads. Grimes brings in more ladders and he uses one on Priest. Dream sees Grimes’ betrayal coming and kicks first! Dream throws hands, goes to a corner and climbs up. But he doesn’t see Gargano throwing a ladder at him! Dream sits down, Priest RAMS into Gargano! Gargano is stuck between two ladders as Priest runs in to HIP ATTACK! Grimes smashes Priest with a ladder and now Priest, Gargano and Dream are stuck on that corner. Reed drags Grimes into an atomic drop! Grimes is the final layer as Reed runs, THICC BOI LADDER SANDWICH SPLASH!!
Grimes and Gargano are down, Priest spasms to a corner and the crowd cheers, “This is Awesome!” Reed has Dream on the top rope, climbs up and brawls with him. Priest clubs Reed and brings him down to then go after Dream himself. Dream wants mercy but Reed hits Priest. Dream hits back but Priest hits back. Grimes runs at Reed but Reed catches the Cave-In in bomb position! Grimes grabs at Priest fast, SUPER POWERBOMB GERMAN SUPERPLEX!! What an insane Tower of Doom!! The crowd is thunderous as those four are down! But Gargano sees he’s got an opening and gets a ladder back in. The crowd hopes they “Fight Forever!” but Gargano looks to end this. Gargano climbs but Reed stops him. They go around like cat ‘n’ mouse but Gargano kicks low.
Gargano hops on, Grimes gets around him but Reed uses Gargano as a weapon! Grimes falls and hotshots, then Reed FALL AWAY SLAMS Gargano! Priest takes the ladder now and climbs! Priest touches the belt but Dream clubs him! Dream brings Priest down to fire off big haymakers over and over! Dream hurries up the ladder, Priest springboards and kicks the legs out! Dream falls, Priest climbs! Grimes drags Priest away, but Priest kicks back. They brawl, Priest fires off kicks and kicks on Grimes and even Gargano. Priest springboards, Gargano SUPERKICKS him out of the air! Dream drags Gargano up to throw him out but Reed has the ladder! Reed RAMS Dream! And SMASHES Grimes! And swings on Gargano, but Gargano ducks. Gargano slingshots, ONE FINAL BEAT jams the ladder into Reed’s face!
Reed flops down, Gargano sets the ladder on the ropes. Gargano elbows Dream away then uses the ropes the sling it at Dream! Dream stays standing, picks the ladder up, but Gargano ducks as Dream CHUCKS the ladder!! The ladder hits Plexiglas and almost hits Priest!! Gargano dumps Dream out onto the ladders! Gargano DIVES and crashes Reed into the boards! The crowd fires up as Gargano runs around the way, but into Grimes’ COLLISION COURSE! Dream AX HANDLES Grimes outta nowhere! Dream has Gargano but Reed DIVES?!? Everyone is wiped out again and the crowd is loving it! Grimes is up first and he has the TALLEST ladder of them all! Grimes puts that in and stands it up but Priest returns.
Priest BOOTS the ladder into Grimes! Then Priest sees all those targets, and runs to go up the ladder and FLY!! Direct hit takes out Dream, Gargano and Reed but also Priest! The crowd loses their minds for that one, but all of this has been insane! Dream sits up in a daze but Reed gets to his feet. Candice LeRae comes out to check on Gargano, and then to stop Grimes’ climb!? There are no rules in a ladder match but this just isn’t fair. Candice pushes the ladder over and Grimes can only shout at her. Candice fires off on Grimes with fast hands! Candice runs, tilt-o-whirls but Grimes blocks! Gargano RAMS Grimes with the ladder!! Candice and Gargano coordinate, he helps her go up and up and tightrope HURICANRANA Grimes onto Dream and Priest!
Gargano has the ladder but he forgot about Reed! Reed is in as Gargano sets up a ladder, and Reed climbs up to join Gargano up top. Reed throws haymakers and knocks Gargano down, but Grimes returns. Gargano goes after Reed but Reed headbutts him down. Reed reaches for the ropes, but Candice returns to stop him! They’re both swatting at the belt, but Reed brings Candice with her for a MEGA TSUNAMI SPLASH!! The Wednesday Knight’s a crushed soda can at this point! Mr. & Mrs. Gargano flop out of the ring and Reed drags himself to the ladder. Reed does his best to climb, but Priest climbs on the other side. They fight, Grimes brings the taller ladder back. Grimes climbs his ladder but Reed chops him!
Priest bumps Reed off the ladder, Reed falls and topples Grimes’ ladder, but Grimes hops to join Priest! Grimes rocks Priest! Grimes climbs, Dream stops him! Dream yanks Grimes down, but Grimes dodges the boot! The boot gets stuck in the rungs, Grimes ROUNDHOUSES Dream! Dream and ladder fall, Grimes pulls the ladder off Dream to stand it back up. Grimes gets another ladder and he thrusts at Dream! Dreams dodges, the ladder gets stuck in the other ladder, and Dream ROCKS Grimes with a right! Dream keeps on Grimes with a BOOT, then goes back to complete a ladder bridge. Dream slithers under the bridge to ROCK Grimes again! Dream puts Grimes on that bridge and CHOPS him. Grimes is down, Dream stands up the tallest ladder.
Grimes stirs, Dream climbs, and Dream poses. But he smacks the ladder, and he just remembered what’s going on! Dream reaches for the belt, but now it’s swinging all around. Priest BELL CLAPS Dream! Dream is down but Reed brings Priest down. Priest bobs ‘n’ weaves, ROCKS Reed and CHOKE SLAMS him onto another ladder! Priest is all alone, but Grimes gets him with a CAVE-IN!! Grimes climbs up now but his legs are noodles! Grimes tries but Gargano returns!? Gargano disrupts the ladders, Grimes clubs him but kicks a ladder. Gargano gets up and SUNSET BOMBS Grimes onto the ladder bridge!!! OW!! Reed returns while the crowd is worried for Gargano and Grimes. It really does feel like these five will “Fight Forever!”
Priest moves ladders around while Gargano somehow stirs again. Priest has a new ladder bridge while Gargano sits up. Gargano grabs a ladder for himself. Gargano swings on Priest, Priest dodges but so does Gargano, and Gargano enziguris back! Gargano slingshots but Priest choke grips. Dream SUPERKICKS Priest but Gargano SUPERKICKS Dream! Gargano slingshots but Dream blocks! Dream has the fireman’s carry, Priest is on the ladder bridge, DREAM VALLEY DRIVER ONTO IT ALL!! The crowd continues to rally as Dream gets the tallest ladder back up. Dream climbs, Reed tips the ladder and sends Dream flying TO THE OUTSIDE! Dream crashes down on spare tables!!
The crowd loses their minds again and now Reed is all alone! Reed climbs, touches the belt, but Grimes THROWS the step ladder! That little ladder came in handy after all! Grimes climbs, grabs the belt, but Gargano is there! They brawl, Gargano swings the belt and Grimes dodges the first time, but it’s like a boomerang and smacks him in the back of the head! Gargano grabs the belt, but Priest grabs him! Gargano uses the belt again, the belt is loose! They’re both pulling on it and Priest kicks Gargano down! PRIEST WINS!
Winner: Damian Priest (NEW NXT North American Champion)
INCREDIBLE! Through all of the pain and punishment, it is the Archer of Infamy who wins! Does this mean Priest will truly, finally, #LiveForever?
Adam Cole VS Pat McAfee!
What started about two years ago as a jocular trash talking back and forth escalated rather quickly when The Panama City Playboy appeared on the NFL punter’s podcast. Then it escalated again as McAfee showed up on NXT to talk more trash and then kick a restrained Cole in the head! Now this finally becomes a fist fight, with no Undisputed Era or offensive line to back them up. Will McAfee embarrass “The King of NXT?” Or will Cole prove McAfee is out-kicking his coverage?
Before the match, McAfee fist bumps his boys before they leave, and McAfee hypes himself up. “I’ve kicked off Super Bowls! I’ve sold out buildings across this great country! But tonight is years in the making!” And wakey wakey, this will end with one kick from “the strongest leg in the history of humans, and the history of legs in general! Let’s do the damn thing. Hit my music.” McAfee makes his entrance and this grudge match a long time coming begins!
McAfee’s boys return to flank him to the ring. The ref has them stay off the apron, and McAfee fires himself up. The bell rings, McAfee and Cole tie up but break. McAfee flexes on Cole but they tie up again. Cole headlocks, grinds McAfree down, but McAfee powers up. McAfee can’t power out and Cole grinds him again. McAfee lifts Cole but Cole cranks on the hold. Cole talks trash to McAfee but McAfee pulls hair! The ref reprimands as they end up in a corner. McAfee lets up but whips Cole corner to corner. Cole reverses, McAfee goes up and over and hypes up again. McAfee starts to strut but Cole rushes him. McAfee goes to another corner and goes up, but Cole stays back. McAfee lands, turns around and Cole spooks him with a superkick tease!
McAfee backs away to a corner and calls for a time-out! Cole dares McAfee to get up, but McAfee gets water and a towel from his boys. McAfee comes back, ties up with Cole and headlocks. Cole tries but can’t power out of it as McAfee grinds tighter. Cole elbows free but McAfee runs Cole over with a shoulder! McAfee talks smack, things speed up and McAfee avoids the boot! McAfee regroups with his boys but Cole dares him to come back. The ref starts a ring count, McAfee waits it out, and says Cole better realize he’s a better human than Cole. McAfee and his boys mock the Undisputed Era hands, but here comes the rest of the Undisputed Era! Security rushes in to keep things from turning into a brawl, but McAfee slips into the ring. McAfee climbs up to LEAP!! McAfee bowls everyone over!!
McAfee is pumped up but realizes his boys are down and can’t high five. McAfee gets up and finds Cole to put him in the ring. Referees help security clear things up and McAfee throws hands on Cole! Cole shoves McAfee but McAfee throws hands back. McAfee stomps Cole over and over, but lets up at the ref’s count. Cole gets to ropes but McAfee pulls him back against them! McAfee lets up at the ref’s count and McAfee “apologizes.” McAfee brings Cole up, pulls Cole’s hair and DECKS him with a haymaker! McAfee mocks Cole and NXT as a whole, then runs to basement BOOT Cole down! Cole sits up and grits his teeth but McAfee stalks him. McAfee tells Cole he only had two weeks to prepare and he’s doing all this.
McAfee scoops Cole and does squats to show off before hitting the SLAM! Cover, TWO! McAfee is on Cole with a chinlock and grinds him down. Cole fights up as the crowd rallies, and Cole throws body shots. McAfee throws Cole by his hair! The ref reprimands McAfee and warns him. McAfee wraps Cole in a chinlock, grinds him down, but Cole fights his way back up. Cole elbows free, dodges McAfee’s clothesline but runs into a dropkick! McAfee hits the Heismann pose while Cole goes to a corner. Cole drags himself up and McAfee comes back to slap him. Cole SLAPS back! McAfee slaps, Cole SLAPS! Then they throw haymakers! It’s fast and furious and the crowd loves it! Cole DECKS McAfee, and turns things into a hockey scrum with the shirt over McAfee’s head!
Cole ROCKS McAfee then BOOTS him down! McAfee crawls, Cole drags him to a corner for a mudhole stomp! The ref counts, Cole lets up and is fired up! Cole waits for McAfee to get up to his feet, and fireman’s carries for the USHIGOROSHI! Cover, TWO!! McAfee survives but Cole nods some respect. Cole watches McAfee stir, and then takes aim. Cole runs but McAfee ducks the shining wizard, TWO! McAfee swings, Cole gets around him, BACKSTABBER! Cover, TWO!! McAfee survives again and Cole feels a bit annoyed despite the smirk. Cole looms over McAfee who flounders in a daze. Cole goes to the corner, climbs up top, but McAfee trips him up! McAfee says he’s smarter than Cole, not because it was desperation.
McAfee taunts Cole, climbs up top, and brings Cole up. Cole resists, fights back and pushes McAfee away. McAfee back flips and lands on his feet?! And then springs right back to the top rope, for a SUPERPLEX! Cover, TWO!! McAfee almost shocks the system and the crowd is fired up! “This is Awesome!” as Cole goes to a corner. McAfee slides out and sees Cole’s head sticking out! McAfee runs, but Cole evades! The kick hits the steps! McAfee goes down as he clutches his foot and Cole smirks. Cole goes out, drags McAfee up and puts him in the ring. Cole gets in but McAfee wants a timeout. No such thing, and Cole gives McAfee 52 Fake Out! Mule kick to the knee! FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK! McAfee fights but it’s still on!
McAfee’s shoulders are down and it’s a cover, ONE! McAfee has to stay up and endure the hold at the same time! Cole cranks as hard as he can, McAfee is down again, ONE! McAfee can’t sit up forever, ONE! McAfee tries to turn the hold, but Cole just turns it over again! McAfee manages a ropebreak, Cole holds on until the count of 4! Cole grows frustrated while McAfee hobbles to a corner. Cole glares at McAfee but McAfee says Cole is a punk. Cole BOOTS McAfee! Cole stomps away, the ref backs him off, but Cole jukes around, only to run into a LOW BLOW!! The ref missed it!! McAfee grins, runs and LARIATS Cole! McAfee lines up the shot, Cole stands just enough, TOUCHBACK KICK! Cover, TWO!! Cole survives the field goal attempt! McAfee can’t believe it!
The crowd rallies up for Cole but McAfee stands first. McAfee goes to a corner and climbs up top?! McAfee tears off the tank top and says, “McAfee, BAYBAY!” McAfee leaps, into a SUPERKICK! Cole glares at McAfee as he crawls over. Cole wants McAfee to get up so he can finish this! Cole brings the knee pad down, but gets a better idea. Cole goes to the corner, climbs up top, McAfee stands and… PANAMA SUNRISE!! Cover, Cole wins!

The WWE World Champion returns to NXT, but he says this isn’t about him, it’s about TakeOver: 30! Of course, he knows he and Randy Orton have a match for SummerSlam, and says the “talented piece of crap” is going to get his arse kicked. And if he had to choose between Keith Lee and Karrion Kross tonight, McIntyre goes with the current NXT Champion.
NXT Women’s Championship: Io Shirai VS Dakota Kai w/ Raquel Gonzalez!
#CobraKai thinks she’s in the mind of the Evil Genius, but the NXT Women’s Champion says that’s far from the truth. But Shirai did fall for Dakota’s trap and get a boot from the Daughter of the Desperado! Will Raquel come in handy again with the title on the line? Or will this still be Io Shirai’s NXT?

Dakota and Shirai rush each other but Shirai tackles Dakota and fires off fists! Dakota gets away to a corner but Shirai is on her with stomps! Shirai throws forearms but lets up at the ref’s count. Shirai runs back in but Dakota sends her into buckles! Dakota stomps and hammers back, then drags Shirai out to throw kicks. Shirai blocks, clubs back then handsprings! Dakota side steps and Shirai lands a bit awkwardly. Dakota goes after her but Shirai trips her up for a grounded dragon screw! Shirai kicks Dakota to a corner, stomps her down, then digs both boots into her, then swings to knee her down! Dakota flops out of the ring and hurries to Raquel’s side. Raquel is in Shirai’s way and Dakota gets around to POST Shirai!
Shirai clutches her shoulder but Dakota keeps on her. Dakota puts Shirai in, Raquel applauds as Dakota covers, TWO! Dakota grabs Shirai’s arm, cranks on a double wristlock, but Shirai clubs back. Dakota clubs Shirai to ropes, then wraps the arm around them to pull! The ref counts, Dakota lets go at 4, but Dakota runs at Shirai, only for Shirai to drop toehold her onto ropes! Shirai runs, but Dakota slips out before the tiger feint! Dakota trips Shirai, spins her and BOOTS her! Dakota drags Shirai up to wrap the arm on the ropes again, and make it a hanging triangle hold! The ref counts, Dakota lets go at 4 then BOOTS Shirai down! Cover, TWO! Dakota grows frustrated but she clamps onto the bad arm. Dakota wristlocks, Shirai reaches for ropes but Dakota covers fast, TWO!
The crowd rallies up as Dakota scowls at Shirai. Dakota stomps Shirai to a corner, drags Shirai up and wraps the arm onto the ropes again! The ref counts, Dakota lets up again to snapmare Shirai down. Cover, TWO! Dakota is frustrated again but she goes after the bad arm. Dakota digs her knee into the shoulder and pulls on the rest while Raquel tells Shirai to give up. Shirai refuses so Dakota clubs her down and covers, TWO! The crowd rallies behind Shirai but Dakota stomps her down. Dakota looms over Shirai, wraps Shirai up in a seated twist, but the crowd rallies again. Shirai fights up, rolls Dakota, TWO! Dakota CLOBBERS Shirai! Cover, TWO! Dakota smirks now, feeling confident as she pushes Shirai around. Dakota gets the arm again for a short arm scissor.
Shirai endures, moves around, and pushes back for a cover. ONE and Dakota cranks harder on the scissors. Dakota forces Shirai down, brings her around but Shirai arm-drags! Dakota boots but Shirai dodges to SHOTEI! The crowd rallies behind Shirai as she rallies on Dakota with forearms and shoulders! Shirai shoves and flapjacks Dakota! Dakota flounders, Shirai tiger feint kicks! Shirai springboards to missile dropkick Dakota down! Cover, TWO! Shirai keeps her cool and the fans keep rallying. Shirai drags Dakota up in a waistlock, Dakota resists the lift and standing switches. Dakota lifts but Shirai wheelbarrows to DOUBLE STOMP! Raquel felt that one! Shirai and Dakota slowly stand up, Shirai gets her bad arm moving. Shirai brings Dakota up, whips, but Dakota reverses.

NXT Championship: Keith Lee VS Karrion Kross w/ Scarlett Bordeaux!
The Limitless One rose to the top to top off the Great American Bash, and was NXT’s first and only DOUBLE CHAMPION for just a short time. Keith let the North American Championship go to focus on this title, but Mr. Doomsday decided to focus on him. After doing things “the hard way,” is there only one way this ends? Will we #BaskInHisGlory or #FallAndPray?
The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and the limits will be tested in TakeOver: XXX’s instant classic main event!
Keith runs Kross right over at the bell! Kross seems surprised as he gets up and Keith dares him to come back for more. The crowd is fired up for Keith, Kross runs and knees low but Keith throws big haymakers from all sides! Kross shoves but Keith counter punches him! Keith throws big body shots over and over! Keith digs his forearm into Kross to egg him on, and Kross hits back! Kross boots but Keith blocks it! Keith ROCKS Kross with that left! Keith keeps on Kross with shots from all sides! Kross staggers around the ring, comes back to clinch and put Keith on the ropes. Kross whips, Keith reverses and then follows to CROSSBODY! Kross bails out and to Scarlett’s side, but Keith smirks.
Keith goes out to grab Kross and bump him off the apron. Kross staggers, Keith follows but Kross kicks low. Kross throws haymakers and forearms but the ring count climbs. Kross brings Keith around the way to punch him against the boards. Kross refreshes the ring count to keep on Keith with more forearms! Keith moves, Kross punches the board, but neither man is phased. Keith SMACKS Kross off the boards, Kross ducks the back hand! The Plexiglas comes loose! Keith smirks again and Kross even grins. The brawl continues, but Kross baits Keith into the post! Kross sees Keith’s hand trapped between railing and boards and kicks the railing! Keith’s hand is crushed! The ref reprimands as Keith gets in the ring.
Kross stalks after Keith, stomps the bad arm over and over, then goes after it with a high keylock. Keith endures as Kross pulls back harder. The crowd rallies but Scarlett says it isn’t helping Keith. Keith fights up, even pulling on Kross’ ear. Kross CLUBS the bad arm over and over, but Keith keeps trying. Keith pries an arm off and fights to his feet, but Kross uses the one arm to pull harder. Keith whips free and the two collide! Keith stays standing but that was his bad arm. Kross wrenches and WRINGS the arm out! Kross covers, ONE!! Kross is surprised again but he stomps Keith’s bad arm more and more. Kross twists the wrist around and leans on the bad arm. Keith endures, fights up and reels Kross in for a scoop! Kross slips out, hammerlocks the bad arm and rams Keith into buckles!
Keith grits his teeth and swings a punch, but Kross gets around to hammerlock the bad arm again. Kross sends Keith back into buckles! Keith just swings a back hand, only for Kross to duck and POST Keith! Keith flops down, clutching the bad arm. Kross covers, TWO! Kross grows a bit annoyed but he uses the bad arm in the cover, ONE! Keith endures as Kross cranks on the arm. Another cover, ONE! Kross turns Keith over, pulls the bad arm again, but the crowd rallies up. Keith endures, even as Kross bends fingers and Scarlett calls Keith weak. Kross keeps cranking, Keith keeps enduring. Keith fights up, Kross is again surprised but Kross elbows Keith down. Kross throws haymakers but Keith throws body shots. Kross gets the arm for an armbar DDT!
Keith gets to ropes, Kross drags him away and grabs the arm again. Kross cranks on the hammerlock all over again but Keith still endures. Keith doesn’t give up so the crowd doesn’t give up on him. Kross pulls harder but Keith fights up to his feet. Keith shoulders Kross away then throws body shots with the good arm. Kross throws forearms, Keith staggers, but then he grabs Kross to shove him. Kross gets the bad arm for a rolling armbar takedown! Keith clasps hands, Kross pulls, but it’s a deadlock! Kross shifts position, pushes against the other arm, but Keith rolls it to a cover! TWO, and Kross still has the arm! But Keith gets his footing for a deadlift! POWERBOMB! Scarlett is worried as both men are down. The crowd rallies up, Keith grits his teeth as he and Kross slowly stand.
Keith throws haymakers before Kross can try! Keith uses his left elbow to ROCK Kross! The bad arm still has fight in it and Keith throws another left! Keith drags Kross up, whips him to a corner, then runs in for a splash! Kross staggers but Keith runs and ROCKS him with a left! Keith runs, dodges Kross’ clothesline and scoops for a POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!! Kross grits his teeth as he survives and Scarlett is relieved. Keith gets up as the crowd sings, “Oh~ Bask in His Glory~!” Keith drags Kross up, Kross slips out and ROCKS Keith! Kross dodges Keith in a corner and sends him into buckles! Kross elbows Keith back, but Keith blocks the Doomsday Saido! Kross boots the punch away, BOOTS Keith then ROUNDHOUSES, to a DDT! Cover, TWO!!
Kross grows frustrated but the crowd is thunderous as Keith stirs. Kross drags Keith up, waistlocks, but Keith fights the saido off again! Kross keeps trying but Keith elbows him away. Keith HEADBUTTS Kross! Keith suplexes Kross up and over! Cover, TWO! Scarlett is relieved again but Kross is still in an unfamiliar position as he and Keith stand. Kross throws body shots over and over, then an uppercut! Keith KNEES Kross point blank! Kross grits his teeth through the pain but Keith drags him back up. Keith prepares to lift Kross but Kross fights free. Kross runs and builds up speed to LARIAT! Cover, TWO!! Kross can’t believe Keith survives! Kross looms over Keith as the fans sing again. Keith shakes his head as he sits up, and he throws body shots.
Kross clubs Keith, Keith fights up and throws haymakers. They brawl back and forth, neither backing down! They go forearm for forearm, Keith swings but Kross dodges to fire off forearm after forearm! Kross brings Keith to a knee, then runs, only for Keith to run and LARIAT back! Both men are down and Scarlett is beside herself! The crowd hasn’t stopped rallying as the two men stir. A standing count begins, Kross sits up at 4. Keith crawls at 5 and heads for a corner. They’re both up at 7 in opposite corners. Kross and Keith run at each other, Keith dodges the boot to throw a left! Kross boots anyway but Keith glares. Keith goes for the Grizzly Magnum but Kross dodge! DOOMSDAY SAIDO! Cover, TWO!?! Kross’ best didn’t work and Scarlett is in denial right now.
Kross gets back up to his feet and paces about. Kross calls for the end as Keith staggers up. KROSSJACKET! Keith flails but Kross drags him down! Kross just barely gets the body scissors and Keith starts to fade! The ref checks on Keith, Keith’s arm pops up! Kross can’t believe it as Keith comes back to life! Keith and Kross turn over, Kross rear mounts to put his full weight on Keith. Keith crawls and reaches, to get the ropebreak! Kross lets go, but Keith is still sputtering. Kross waits for Keith to get up, then turns him around, to get a GRIZZLY MAGNUM! And a HEADBUTT! Keith drags Kross back up, pops him right up, for the SPIRIT BOMB!! Cover, TWO?!? Keith is in shock now as Kross survives!
Keith drags Kross over to a drop zone and climbs up top. But Kross anchors Keith’s feet on the second rope! Keith choke grips Kross, Kross breaks free and kicks the legs. Keith choke grips again, Kross climbs up to join Keith and the two start brawling. Kross back hands, Keith CLUBS, and Keith adjusts his position. Kross gets under to SUPER DOOMSDAY SAIDO!! Cover, Kross wins!!!
Winner: Karrion Kross, by pinfall (NEW NXT Champion)
The Limitless One has fallen! Scarlett celebrates with Kross by both caressing him and slapping him. The end is here, and Kross just took over NXT! If not even Keith Lee could stop Karrion Kross, who can hope to ever dethrone him?!
My Thoughts:
A very strong TakeOver, but that’s practically a given since this was the 30th and NXT really wanted it to be worthy of the hype. Having a kickoff show match at all was an interesting choice, but the Triple Threat Tag was really good, really fast stuff. I felt like the story of El Legado and Breezango was going to continue and that meant Oney and Burch would get their second chance. Instead, NXT might be trying to revive the feud between the fashionable masters of disguise and the very serious Imperium. With the news of NXT UK coming back with new material in just under a month, I wonder if this is mostly just to get an NXT USA team to be champions so Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner can go back to UK and regroup with Walter and Alexander Wolfe.
Turns out Balor VS Thatcher did make it onto the TakeOver card and it was a really great opener. There was technical prowess, strong strikes and just a great back and forth. Balor is on a TakeOver win streak, but it is curious that he hasn’t “won the big one” again. Maybe we’re taking a long route back to Balor as champion. This year’s North American Championship Ladder match was perhaps even better than the original. There was a lot of great creativity, both with and without the ladders, and I don’t know why I didn’t expect Candice to show up and get involved. I almost thought she’d help Gargano win, but nope. Reed got the high spot of the splash with Candice as a backpack and Gargano as the target, but Priest got the win, and that’s pretty big for him, but also well deserved.
I think Cole VS McAfee blew just about everyone’s expectations out of the water, except for maybe these two themselves. McAfee really impressed with both the wrestling moves he pulled off, the moves he took, and just the athletic ability to leap up to the top rope! But of course Cole wins, he’s the wrestler here. But I also feel like McAfee sticks around for more. I don’t know if he doubles down on being Heel towards Cole or “humbles” himself to be Face. Either way, I bet he only gets better from here. The NXT Women’s Championship was a great match, though having Raquel get involved moderately takes away from Dakota. I feel like Dakota should’ve been given this chance to see if she can do it on her own, but at least we got a great stare down from Raquel and Rhea. Rhea and Raquel in a contender’s match would be pretty wild, too, and I’d love to see it in time for the Survivor Series TakeOver.
THE NXT Championship was a really good match, even though it wasn’t a fireworks show like we’ve gotten out of Keith VS Dijakovic or even Keith VS Cole. This match was heavy on the slugging and the story, both which were really well done. I liked the parts with the Plexiglas punching, how it showed both men are extra tough and basically on par with each other. The false finishes also worked to add to that, and it actually works to still keep Keith strong to say that a second rope version of Kross’ finisher is what it took to finally finish him. You’d get that out of any “big match” from the Raw-SmackDown PPV’s, so it really helps place Keith and Kross on a comparable level to an AJ Styles for this finish to be THE finish.

The Cardiac Kid has had quite the must-see title reign, but his fighting-champion ways may have gotten him stuck between a rock and a hard place. The Big Strong Boi was his friend, but he couldn’t be upfront about wanting this match. The Schism’s sinister leader is a snake in the grass, but at least he was honest about his greed. Will one of them take this title away from the #WesSide? Or will the champion win that historic title defense record?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see which way history moves!
The bell rings and Gacy rushes Wes! Wes rolls Gacy, Bate rolls Wes, but Gacy rolls Bate! TWO! The three stand off and fans cheer. The three reset, circle, and Gacy grins as he points to Bate and WEs. But Bate and Wes rush him! Gacy dodges, and Wes gets mad at Bate. Gacy tries to turn Wes against Bate again, but Batge throws hands on Gacy! Wes throws Gacy out, but then Wes shoves Bate. The “friends” circle, feel things out, but Gacy returns to egg this on. Bate and Wes change their minds and go out after Gacy! They pinball him with haymakers and forearms! Wes puts Gacy in, Bate pushes past but Wes drags Bate out.
But then Bate drags Wes out! Now Bate shoves Wes, so Wes shoves back. They throw hands! Fans fire up, but Gacy DIVES! Direct hit at the ramp and Gacy stands tall! Gacy puts Bate in and BOOTS Wes! Gacy goes into the ring but Bate CHOPS! Bate whips, Gacy reverses but Bate leaps, into Gacy’s arms! NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB! Cover, Wes breaks it! Gacy ROCKS Wes and Wes flops to the apron. Gacy goes back to Bate but Bate slips under and waistlocks. Gacy pries the hold but Bate lifts him! Gacy fights with elbows, switches, but Bate goes to ropes. Wes covers Gacy, TWO, and fans fire up as Wes stands tall. Wes throws hands and elbows on Bate and Gacy, then SUPERKICKS Bate! Wes fires off strikes on Gacy, has him down and DOUBLE STOMPS him! Wes then RANAS Bate! Cover, TWO!! Bate escapes and that’s also good for Gacy. Wes is annoyed, but he sees Gacy in a corner. Wes brings Bate up but Bate swings. Wes bobs ‘n’ weaves, throws hands and a BOOT! Bate boots back, Wes blocks, but Bate KNEES him away! Bate goes up, FLYING UPPERCUT! Bate runs at Gacy, into an elbow! But then Gacy runs into an EXPLODER!
Bate kips up, fans fire up, and Wes runs in. Bate catches Wes, to EXPLODER! Bate kips up again, to SHOOTING STAR Wes! Cover, Bate moves and Gacy drops an elbow on Wes! Bate fireman’s carries, Gacy slips off. Bate dodges Gacy, Bop up but Gacy ducks, so Bate KICKS Gacy! And then BANG! Fireman’s carry and AIRPLANE SPIN! Fans fire up as Bate goes around and around, but then he blocks Wes’ kick! Bate trips Wes, and we get a AIRPLANE SPIN GIANT SWING COMBO! He is truly a Big Strong Boi! Bate stops at 5 to SLAM Gacy onto Wes! Bate then runs to REBOUNDER on Gacy! Cover on Gacy, Wes SMACKS Bate!
Fans fire up while all three men are down! Fans rally for Wes and he brings Bate up. Bate throws body shots but Wes throws forearms. Bate UPPERCUTS, but Wes stays up to ROCK Bate! Bate UPPERCUTS again, fans rally and duel between him and Wes, but Wes fires off a strike fest! ROLLING ELBOW, then a whip! Bate reverses, BACK DRO POWERBOMB as Gacy joins in! Gacy deadlifts Wes to BOMB Bate! Fans fire up for that show of strength, but Bate KNEES Gacy back! Bate goes up, FLYING- NO, Gacy catches Bate to a dragon sleeper! Wes runs in, but into a clinch! URENAGE REVERSE DDT COMBO!
Gacy clamps onto Wes with the RINGS OF SATURN!! Wes endures as Gacy pulls back! But Bate is up, and he BOOTS Gacy! But Gacy just grins!? Gacy tortures Wes while grinning at Bate. Bate says okay then, and he fires off fists on Gacy! Gacy lets Wes go, Bate keeps on hammering and fans fire up again! Bate backs off from Gacy and goes to a corner. Forged in NXT UK to celebrate the lineage of European wrestling, this will be a test of strategy, ability and determination! Six rounds, three minutes at a time, and first to two falls wins, aside from a disqualification or knockout. Will the Scottish Supernova keep his historically long reign going? Or will the Wonder Boy be the one that finally dethrones him?
Dragon Lee has the British Rocket by his side, but last we saw, Oro Mensah left Dar hanging. Does Dar have a cornerman? Doesn’t look like it. The introductions are made, the cup is displayed, and we see if Dar will be delighted or dismayed!
The bell rings, round one begins, and fans rally as the two circle. They feel things out, give testing kicks, and Dragon’s hits harder. They tie up, Dar waistlocks and drags Dragon down but Dragon slips to a facelock. Dar gets up, facelocks back but Dragon trips Dar. Dar pulls at the mask but Dragon has the leg. Dar gets an arm, they stand, and then Dar wrangles Dragon. Dar JAMS the arm, pushes on it, messes with the mask, but Dragon fights up. Dragon rolls, Dar fights the takedown to wrangle Dragon again. Fans rally for Dragon but Dar SMACKS the hand! Dar drops a knee on the arm, then brings Dragon around.
Dar wrenches to an ELBOW BREAKER, but Dragon grabs at Dar’s face. Dar ELBOW BREAKERS again, but Dragon rolls, wrenches and WRINGS Dar’s arm! Dragon twists the wrist and bends the fingers but Dar moves around. Dar rolls, trips Dragon, steps through for a standing deathlock, then gets the other leg. Dar wants an Indian Deathlock but Dragon shoves him away. Dar hits a headlock takeover but Dragon headscissors. We’re under a minute, Dar bridges, but Dragon pushes him back down. Dragunov flounders his way to the adjacent corner, and then he climbs up! Fans fire up, anticipating what’s coming! Dragunov blows a kiss before going FULL METAL COAST2COAST!! Fans lose their minds again while both men are down again! The standing count starts on both men, and Dragunov already rises at 4! Dijak stirs at 7, grabs at ropes, and drags himself up at 9! But Dragunov pushes the steps aside to CHOP Dijak!

Fans fire up, Dijak choke grips, but Dragunov SLAPS and SLAPS and SLAPS! Dijak shoves Dragunov to the apron, but Dragunov throws more chops. Dijak APRON CHOKE SLAMS Dragunov!! Fans are shocked as Dragunov flops to the floor! The count begins again, Dijak rises at 6 and Dragunov manages to stand at 9! Dijak and Dragunov stare down, both gritting their teeth. Dijak drags Dragunov into the ring, torture racks, FEAST YOUR EYES!!! Dragunov staggers all the way to a corner, but the corner helps him stand! He might be out on his feet! Dijak is furious, he roars and storms out of the ring.
Dijak goes around the way from the outside, and he looks under the ring. Fans fire up as Dijak brings out a kendo stick! Dijak brings the stick into the ring, he aims at Dragunov in the corner, and he says that if Dragunov likes pain, he’ll love this. SMACK to the ribs! Dragunov’s legs wobble and shake but fans want that “ONE MORE TIME!” Dijak asks if Dragunov feels alive. Another SMACK to the ribs!! Dragunov says, “NOT EVEN CLOSE!!” Dijak CHOKES Dragunov with the stick, saying Dragunov is making him do this. A third SMACK to the ribs!! Dragunov sputters, but he doesn’t fall over yet.
Dijak shows Dragunov the blood on the kendo stick. Dijak tells Dragunov to stay down. “Don’t you make me do this.” A fourth and a fifth SMACK to the ribs!! The stick is breaking, so Dijak just finishes it with his own knee! Dijak throws the stick away, goes to the outside and he brings out a chair! Dijak brings the chair in now, and he digs it into Dragunov’s neck! Dijak says Dragunov’s forced his hand. But Dragunov throws hands on Dijak! Dijak JAMS Dragunov with the chair, then SMACKS him on the back!! Dragunov writhes, Dijak goes to the far side and winds up, but TORPEDO MOSCOW hits!!!
Fans are thunderous as Dragunov staggers all around a sputtering Dijak! Dragunov winds up, FALLING FOREARM!! Dijak still reaches for a chair but that’s about all he can do. Dragunov gets the steel steps! Dragunov stands them up the tall way, then stands on the steps. SUPER FALLING FOREARM onto the chair!!! Both men are down and the count begins! We’re at 5 and only Dragunov stirs. Dragunov rises, he stands at 9! Dijak is DOWN, Dragunov wins!!

NXT checks in on Chase U.
Substitute teacher Duke Hudson says he has put in the results of everyone’s quizzes into the system, and they all did very well. EXCEPT RICKY! Ricky sucks! Aww…. Moving on, the MVP of Chase U and substitute teacher has been time consuming, as well as life draining. So he is bringing in two men to teach the Art of Catch Wrestling: Charlie Dempsey & Drew Gulak. And if anyone needs Duke, he is going to be in the back, working on the Money in the Bank study guides.
Gulak thanks Duke and tells the students that normally, you learn what to do. Today, let’s focus on what not to do when the bell rings. And who better to use as an example than Chase U’s own Thea Hail? Wait, what? Thea losing to Kiana James is used as the main example, and Dempsey says that Thea’s lack of grappling knowledge puts her at a severe disadvantage against every opponent. This is NOT how to become a superstar. But good news, not all students have to fail like Thea. Thea storms out, which gets Duke’s attention.
Gulak says with the right guidance, they can learn to crunch and crack opponents in half. Duke asks what the heck these two are doing, and Dempsey says they’re showing the Chase U students what not to do. Yeah, he knows that was the lesson, but they just made someone leave the classroom crying. Gulak says there’s no crying in WWE. This is a reality check. No one talks to Thea or any of Duke’s- er, Chase U’s students like that! Next week, Duke has a better lesson prepared for them, in the ring. Get out. Gulak & Dempsey leave, Duke dismisses the class, and wants someone to check on Thea.
But at the same time, looking at the highlight reel, Duke isn’t happy. Will he need to start using some tough love to get Thea’s record up?

The Iron King’s return at Stand & Deliver is why Mark Coffey & Wolfgang are still on top, but now that trump card is out in the open. Will Julius & Brutus be the ones back on top now that they know all the pieces in play? Or will nothing stop Gallus from making this their kingdom?
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who really runs the tag division!
The teams sort out and Julius starts with Wolfgang. Julius gets a takedown but Wolfgang fights up to UPPERCUT! Tag to Mark, Gallus mugs Julius, then Mark facelocks to wrangle Julius down. Julius fights up to an armlock, they go around, and Julius wrenches to a SAYANAGI, and then another armlock. Mark fights up, Julius puts him in the Creed corner to tag in Brutus. Brutus wrenches and cranks the arm, trips Mark, and fights to a headlock. Mark moves around, Brutus has an arm but Mark turns that around onto him. Mark grinds the shoulder, but Brutus gets free, and Wolfgang tags in.
Julius backs Brutus up and the teams talk trash. The ref keeps the peace, things calm down, but then Wolfie runs in! Julius DECKS him, and Brutus fireman’s carry takeovers! Brutus has Mark’s arm, tags Julius, and the Creeds pinball Mark between knees to the side! Brutus drags Mark up to hit a BIG back suplex! Julius covers, TWO! Julius keeps on Mark with an armlock but Mark fights up. Julius arm-drags Mark, keeps on the armlock, but Mark fights up to ROCK Julius! Mark whips, Julius goes up and over and then runs. Brutus tags in as Julius ducks ‘n ‘dodges! Brutus then goes up, FLYING AX YHANDLES!
Brutus SMASH again and again on Mark, but Wolfgang distracts. Brutus runs Wolfgang off but Mark UPPERCUTS! Brutus just powers through to hit a headlock takeover! Mark keeps his shoulders up, powers Brutus to ropes and Wolfgang tags in as Mark powers out. Brutus returns into a FLAPJACK HOTSHOT! Brutus sputters, Wolfgang CLUBS away on him, then drops knee after knee! Wolfgang CLUBS Brutus again, then clamps on a neck wrench. Brutus endures, fans rally, but Mark tags in. Gallus stomps Brutus down, Mark CLUBS Brutus, cover, TWO! Mark KICKS Brutus in the back!
Mark drags Brutus up to ROCK him with forearms, but Brutus hits back! Mark whips and kitchen sink knees Brutus! Tag to Wolfgang, BASEMENT SENTON! Wolfgang then clamps on with a cobra clutch. Fans rally, Brutus fights up, but Wolfgang tags Mark. Ripcord shoulder, then a FLYING SHOULDER! Cover, TWO, but Mark clamps on with a chinlock. Fans rally as Brutus endures and fights up. Brutus pries the hold but Mark throws him down! Mark grinds Brutus down but Brutus keeps his shoulder up. Fans rally, Brutus fights up, and he powers up to lift Mark, BIG back suplex! Fans fire up while both men writhe!
Mark crawls, tags Wolfgang, and Wolfgang keeps Brutus from Julius with a facelock. Fans rally, Brutus fights up again, but Wolfgang CLUBS him! And then ELBOWS Julius! The ref reprimands and Julius is mad, but then Brutus back drops Wolfgang! Tag to Julius! Julius fires off hands on Wolfgang, then clinches to OVERHEAD Belly2Belly! Fans fire up as Julius kips up, to OVERHEAD Belly2Belly Mark! Wolfgang returns, for another OVERHEAD Belly2Belly! Julius kips up again to hit another OVERHEAD Belly2Belly! And then another kip up for another OVERHEAD Belly2Belly for Wolfgang!
Fans are thunderous, Joe Coffey can’t believe this, Mark gets another OVERHEAD Belly2Belly! Julius kips up, brings down the straps, but Wolfgang ELBOWS him! But Julius still OVERHEAD Belly2Belly suplexes! Mark tags in, but he runs into a seventh BELLY2BELLY! SHOOTING STAR! Brutus tags in to STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO!! Fans are still fired up for the Creeds, and Brutus brings Mark over. Julius tags back in, he hoists Mark up in an Electric Chair. Brutus climbs, but Mark victory rolls! Cover, TWO! Wolfgang runs in to trip up Brutus! Mark ROCKS Julius, he and Wolfgang DOUBLE URENAGE Julius!
But Brutus is still up top! BRUTUS BALL still hits!! Fans are thunderous as all four men are down! “This is Awesome!” as the teams regroup in corners. The Creeds fire each other up, they egg Gallus on, and Gallus fires up now! And the brawl is on!! Fans are loving it as fists fly! Mark shoves Julius but Julius SPEARS Mark! Wolfgang DEGS Brutus, Julius DECKS Brutus! Mark ROCKS Julius, Julius JUMP KNEES Mark! And then ROLLING SPINEBUSTER! Fans fire up as Julius throws off the elbow pad! Joe hurries in! The ref reprimands, but Ivy trips up Joe! Julius clotheslines Joe out!
Julius gives thumbs up to Ivy, but wait! AVA RAINE POSTS IVY!! She still isn’t done with Ivy! GALLOW’S GATE hits Julius!! GALLUS WINS!!

NXT Women’s Championship Tournament Finals: Lyra Valkyria VS Tiffany Stratton!
Between injury and the WWE Draft taking Indi Hartwell away, the title was going to be vacated, and a new champion would need to be crowned. The Morrigan fought through Kiana James and Cora Jade while The Center of the Universe made it through Gigi Dolin and Roxanne Perez. Will Lyra ride on the winds of change to reach new heights? Or will Daddy’s Little Rich Girl once again get what she wants?
The introductions are made, the belt is on display, and one way or another, we will have a new champion!
The bell rings and fans rally and duel. Lyra and Tiff circle, stare down, and then tie up. They go around, Tiff puts Lyra on ropes but Lyra turns it around. Tiff puts Lyra in a corner but Lyra pushes back. Tiff pushes, too, they tie up again, and then Lyra headlocks for a takeover. Tiff kicks and moves around, fights up to her feet, and Lyra wrenches. Tiff ROCKS Lyra, wrenches the arm, YANKS away on it, but Lyra rolls, kips up and WRINGS Tiff out! Tiff kicks around, rolls, kips, but Lyra wrangles her with a headlock! Lyra traps an arm, rolls Tiff to a ghost pin, TWO! Tiff gets away to ropes and Lyra smiles.
Fans rally up as the two reset. They circle, they tie up, then Lyra gets a waistlock. Tiff elbows free, snapmares, ghost pins back, but Lyra rolls through! Reverse sunset, TWO! Tiff scrambles away all flustered but Lyra is loving this. The fans love it, too, and the two reset again. They tie up, Tiff knees low, then headlocks. Lyra powers up and out, but Tiff runs her over. Tiff blows a kiss, things speed up, Lyra hurdles but the bad leg gives out! Lyra hurries to a corner, walks it off, and Tiff smirks now. The two approach and Tiff wants a test of strength. They knuckle lock, they go shoulder to shoulder, but Lyra rolls back to put the pressure on!
Tiff turns things around, throws Lyra over, but Lyra then MONKEY FLIPS Tiff away! Tiff staggers up, into a SWINGING ARM-DRAG! Tiff bails out, fans fire up for Lyra, and she watches Tiff go around the outside. Lyra then runs, but she just fakes Tiff out. Tiff scowls and storms into the ring. They tie up again, go around, and Lyra arm-drags Tiff out again! Fans rally again, Tiff is even more upset, and Lyra waits on her. Lyra then builds speed to WRECK- NO, Tiff blocks the dropkick, drags Lyra out and SLAMS her to the apron! Tiff then hoists Lyra up, SHIN BREAKER to the post!
Tiff looms over Lyra, slaps her around, stomps her around, then drags her by the bad leg. Tiff stands Lyra up, gets the leg again, and SHIN BREAKER to the post, AGAIN! Fans cheer and jeer while Tiff goes into the ring to let the count handle this. Tiff then goes back out, stomps Lyra, and pulls at the knee brace! The ref reprimands but now Lyra has no protection on that leg. Tiff tosses the knee brace and puts Lyra in the ring. Tiff lifts Lyra, SHIN BREAKER! Lyra hobbles, but Tiff DRAGON SCREWS her! Tiff drags Lyra up, has the leg again, SHIN BREAKER, and then another DRAGON SCREW!
Tiff smiles as she pushes Lyra to a cover, TWO!! Lyra is hanging tough but Tiff doesn’t let up. Tiff gets the leg, turns Lyra over, and then hooks the leg up. SNAP LOCK! Tiff puts pressure on the leg, stands back up, and SNAP LOCKS again! And then Tiff stands back up, ties both legs together in a deathlock, and fans cheer as she bridges back! MUTA LOCK!! Lyra endures as Tiff pulls on her! Fans rally and duel as Lyra pries the chinlock open! Tiff lets the leglock go, covers, TWO! Tiff stomps Lyra’s leg and Lyra goes to ropes. Tiff gets the leg again, but Lyra SLAPS her! Tiff SLAPS back! They SLAP fight!
Lyra kicks but Tiff ducks, then SMASHES the knee on the mat! Tiff drags Lyra to a cover, TWO! Tiff huffs and puffs but she gets the leg, for a STRETCH MUFFLER! Lyra bridges to relieve pressure and then reaches out, ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Tiff lets go quickly, but then drags Lyra back. STRETCH MUFFLER! But Lyra kicks at Tiff with her free leg! Tiff lets go, clutches that arm, but she goes after Lyra again. SHIN- SUNSET FLIP! TWO!! Tiff escapes, stomps Lyra, and then steps through. Lyra boots Tiff into buckles! Tiff checks her teeth, Lyra O’Conner Rolls and it’s deep! TWO!!
Lyra ends up in the corner now, clutches her leg, but she says she’s still good to go. Tiff runs in, into an ELBOW! Lyra goes up, MISSILE DROPKICK! But it proves double-edged given the leg damage! Fans rally while both women are down. They stir, Tiff crawls after Lyra and they both stand. Tiff ROCKS Lyra with a forearm, but Lyra UPPERCUTS back! Tiff SLAPS Lyra, but Lyra UPPERCUTS again! Tiff runs in, Lyra dodges to SOBAT! Front kick! HEADBUTT! AX KICK!! Lyra grits her teeth, brings Tiff up again, NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridge, roll through, and then another NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridge, roll through, but Tiff kicks the leg!
Tiff runs, but Lyra ENZIGURIS!! Tiff flops out of the ring and fans fire up as Lyra slaps her leg. Lyra scowls, builds speed, and she WRECKS Tiff! Then CROSSBODIES her to the floor! Lyra drags Tiff back up, puts her back in, and hurries up the corner! The bad leg does slow her down a bit but Lyra still reaches the top. Lyra aims, for a CROSSBODY! But Tiff rolls through! Tiff powers lyra up, but Lyra CRUCIFIX DRIVERS!! Cover, TWO!!! Tiff survives and fans fire up! Lyra drags Tiff to a drop zone, goes back up the corner, and fans fire up even more! But Tiff trips Lyra up! Lyra ends up in a Tree of Woe!
Tiff runs in, she DROPKICKS Lyra out of the Tree! PRETTIEST MOONSAULT EVER!! Cover, TWO!??! Lyra survives and Tiff can’t believe it! Tiff scowls and she drags Lyra up. Tiff fireman’s carries, but Lyra slips out to waistlock! Tiff kicks the bad leg out! Lyra sits down, Tiff runs, DOUBLE- NO, SUNSET FLIP! TWO!! DOUBLE STOMPS!! Cover, TWO!!! Tiff grows frustrated but the fans stay fired up. Tiff storms up on Lyra, grabs the leg and then rolls to THROW Lyra! Lyra is in a corner, Tiff handsprings in, but into a waistlock! GERMAN SUPLEX! Lyra roars, Tiff stands, but the bad leg gives out!!
Lyra tried the spin back kick but the leg gave up on her! Tiff drags Lyra up, fireman’s carries, ROLLING SENTON! Tiff goes up now, PRETTIEST MOONSAULT- FLOPS!! Lyra fights to her feet, SPINNING HEEL KICK!!! But the bad leg slows her down, she can’t make the cover! Lyra crawls to Tiffany, ROPEBREAK!!! Tiff survives by a literal foot and Lyra cannot believe it! Fans are thunderous for “NXT! NXT!” while Lyra grits her teeth. Lyra drags Tiff into the drop zone, goes up the corner, but Tiff goes up after her! Tiff throws forearms, Lyra CLUBS her back! Lyra digs her elbow into Tiff’s back, then adjusts position.

Boston’s hometown hero is none other than HIM! Melo is back in Massachusetts, ready to have a rematch from the main event of Stand & Deliver. But while Melo is still Melo, the Big Bad Booty Nephew has changed. This dog is now #MeanerThanEvil, and he wants to bring scorched earth to Lowell! Will Bron break Melo to become a THREE-TIME NXT Champion? Or will Melo still not miss?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and it’s a sadistic sequel to see who is really leader of the pack!
The fans chant for “MEL~O!” already and the bell rings. The two rush in, Melo dropkicks a leg out! Melo fires off haymakers, Bron shoves him away, but Melo comes back for more! Melo KICKS the leg, Bron shoves him again, but Melo just KICKS the leg out! Bron ELBOWS Melo from a corner, hobbles but runs Melo over! Fans boo, things speed up, Melo kips up to PELE! And then runs in to BOOT Bron out of the ring! Melo builds speed and he FLIES! Direct hit at the ramp, if only barely! Melo then rains down fists on Bron, dusts himself off, and CHOPS Bron against barriers! The fans fire up as Melo CHOPS him again!
Melo brings Bron around but Bron RAMS him into the apron! Bron puts Melo in at 6 of 10, shoulders into him, then storms in. Melo dodges, Bron dodges back, and Bron turns leap into SPINEBUSTER! Fans boo but Bron puts Melo in a corner. Bron RAMS into Melo, and again, and again! The ref counts, Bron keeps going until 4. Melo BOOTS Bron back, runs and rolls off Bron’s back, to then DROPKICK Bron to the corner! Melo runs in to forearm smash! Melo whips, Bron reverses, but Melo goes up, only to get caught! Bron TOSSES Melo away, then mocks the chants, “Let’s Go, Melo. IDIOTS!”
Melo goes to the apron, Bron brings him up, but then Bron blocks the gamangiri to DECK Melo! Bron goes out after Melo, fans boo but Bron kicks Melo into the barriers. And SMACKS him off them! Trick protests but Bron brings Melo around to put in the ring. Bron tells Trick to back off, and he goes to the apron, Melo KICKS Bron, and then HOTSHOT STUNNERS him! And then FADE AWAY LEG DROP! Cover, ONE!! Bron is hanging tough but Melo drags him to the ropes. Melo has the leg on the ropes to springboard STOMP it! Bron writhes, Melo grabs the leg and stomps away on it more!
Melo drags Bron around, steps over, HALF BOSTON CRAB! Fitting since this is #Melochussetts! Fans cheer, Bron endures, and Bron fights up. Trick demonstrates how to stretch Bron, but Bron turns things over! Bron BOOTS Melo away, then hobbles up. Melo runs back in, but Bron dodges! Melo goes up, FLYING ARM-DRAG! Melo runs in, but into a LARIAT! Bron’s good leg still has some explosive power to it! Bron hobbles around, he stalks Melo, and Bron brings Melo up, to OVERHEAD Belly2Belly! Melo writhes and Bron walks off the pain in his legs. “Boston sucks!” Bron then stalks Melo and drags him up.
Bron clinches, to OVERHEAD Belly2Belly again! Melo shakes his head and the fans boo Bron. Bron tells them to shut up, and he stalks Melo to ropes. Bron waistlocks but Melo holds the ropes! Bron gets in between Melo and ropes, for a SPINNING BELLY2BELLY! Cover, TWO!! Bron does push-ups just to mock Melo! Fans chant “YOU SUCK!” at Bron but he doesn’t care. Bron scuffs Melo, says, “This is what Boston looks like?” Melo throws body shots! And a CHOP! Bron KNEES low, whpis, but Melo sunset flips! Bron stays up, drags Melo up, another OVERHEAD Belly2Belly!
Bron stalks Melo to a corner, drags Melo up and pie faces him. Fans still chant “YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!” but Bron throws body shots on Melo. Bron puts Melo up top, but Melo throws haymakers! Bron ROCKS Melo back, climbs up and brings Melo up, but Melo fights back with body shots! Melo KICKS Bron’s bad leg! Bron staggers back, but returns, for a SUPER STEINER! Cover, TWO!! Melo survives but Bron smirks, he’s starting to have fun with this. Bron drags Melo up, reels him in, short arm LARIAT! Bron taunts the fans as they boo him, and he drags Melo up again. Short arm LARIAT!
Bron says this is as easy as beating up one of the fans. Bron drags Melo back up, scuffs him, but fans chant “You’re Not Him!” Bron short arm- NO, Melo ducks! Melo KICKS the legs, CHOPS Bron, then ROCKS Bron! But Bron gets around to GERMAN SUPLEX! Bron still has power to spare, but also attitude as he mockingly chants, “Let’s Go, Melo.” Bron HIP DROPS Melo, then HIP DROPS again! Melo crawls, but Bron says it’s done! Bron hooks up an arm, Melo resists, and he gets that arm free. HIP- KNEES! Melo gets Bron low, then KANGAROO KICKS him away! Bron staggers up, kicks low, and suplexes!
But Melo turns it into a DDT!! Both men are down and fans are thunderous again! Trick fires up and he coaches Melo! The fans are thunderous as Melo stands up again! Bron shakes out the stars in his head, but Melo dodges the haymaker to give haymakers! Bron hits back, but Melo gives more! Bron ROCKS Melo, Melo ROCKS Bron again and again and fires off body shots! Bfron shoves Melo, Melo spins Bron around, SMASH and SUPERKICK! Melo runs to BOOT! Melo keeps moving, he springboards, FLYING LARIAT! Fans are thunderous again as Melo aims from a corner. Melo runs in, tilt-o-whirl, FACEBUSTER! Cover, ONE?!?!
Bron says “Is that all you got?!” Melo KNEES Bron in the face! Suplex CUTTER! Cover, TWO! Bron is still in this and Melo is starting to wonder what he has to do. Melo drags Bron up, SLAPS him, but Bron DECKS Melo! Fans boo but Melo gets up to throw hands. Bron ROCKS Melo with just one! Melo ROCKS Bron, Bron ROCKS Melo! Melo staggers, comes back and he fires off a flurry! Bron UPPERCUTS Melo! Melo kicks but Bron blocks to choke grip! Trophy lift, but Melo hits a CODE BREAKER out of it!! Melo hurries up the corner, Bron stands, NOTHING- NO, Bron dodges! Bron runs in, but Melo POSTS him!
Melo runs, springboard- SPEAR!!! Cover, TWO!!!! Bron got Melo like he did a few weeks ago, but this time Melo survives! Bron is the one shocked now, and even Trick looks in disbelief! But the fans are electric for Melo! Bron gets mad, he brings down the straps! Bron gut wrenches Melo up to SLAM him down! And then another gut wrench for another SLAM! Bron says he’s gonna end it, and he waits on Melo to rise. Choke grip, trophy lift, but Melo cradle counters! TWO!! Bron escapes, but Melo SUPERKICKS again! Bron sputters but stays up, so Melo SUPERKICKS again! Bron is still up!? SUPERKICK AGAIN!!
Bron is still up so Melo runs, springboard, FADE AWAY DDT!! Melo hurries up top, takes aim, NOTHING BUT NET!!! Cover, MELO WINS!

Count it! Melo was in a shootout but he gets the game winner! The hometown crowd cheers their hero, has he dispatched of Bron once and for all? And if so, then who is next to challenge… HIM?
My Thoughts:
Awesome stuff for NXT here. Even though they call these Premium Live Events, this felt about as close to a TakeOver as we’re getting in this era. As such, this also flew by rather quick, and I’m not sure where they really could’ve given more time to anything because all these matches felt just right. The Triple Threat was a great opener, and I really liked Tyler Bate’s new robe and ring gear. And it was great for Wes to retain the title, he has done great work so he definitely deserves to be deemed the winningest North American Champion. There’s still any number of people he can face before ever losing the title.
Great follow-up in the Heritage Cup match, though boy I wish it was Sha Samuels who helped Dar win. But it is great for Oro Mensah, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson to all have a spot in story and on TV. No idea how this is going to go now, other than Frazer VS Oro given their interaction. Dar can also face just about anyone next, and it feels like maybe they want it to be Frazer, between them both having talk shows, Frazer getting involved on Dragon Lee’s behalf, and the history between Frazer and Dar from NXT UK. Frazer is also great, and also deserving of things, this could be a great summer build for him.
That Last Man Standing match was wild! Never seen someone get a busted open chin the way Dragunov did, but it added something to this. Dragunov winning also made sense, as he’s been a great “giantslayer” before. But I can’t really be sure where he goes next, unless it’s the Heritage Cup with Dar being the Heel champion to Dragunov’s Face challenger. Great tag team championship match, it felt like the black ‘n’ gold era’s tag team wrestling. Though I should’ve known Ava and Ivy weren’t done fighting this out, and that is why The Creeds lose. The Tony D’Angelo arrest story is going to shake out, and maybe the D’Angelo Family gets to face Gallus over the summer, but a two month build to Great American Bash might be too much for this.
Speaking of which, great to see Great American Bash becoming more than just a themed episode on TV. A little surprised they aren’t trying for a little closer to July 4th, which is a Tuesday, but I guess that’s just how scheduling their events goes. And nice surprise promo from Chase U and Not Catch Point. Duke standing up for Thea is a good detail, but I feel like he’s going to get cheated by Gulak & Dempsey. And we might even get a tag match now of Dempsey & Gulak VS Duke and a returning Andre Chase. And good promo from this mysterious attacker, good that we’re finally going to see who this is. I’m hoping Blair Davenport, but for some reason the presentation of the character makes me think it’ll be Stevie Turner, making her streamer gimmick just her façade to fool us.
And awesome stuff from both top titles to close out the show. I wasn’t sure who was going to win in Lyra VS Tiffany, but it did feel too soon for Lyra. They kept her strong by making it about the injured leg, damage done by Cora Jade, and I don’t doubt Cora will take credit for it on Tuesday. Tiffany wins because she really is great in the ring, and is just too good at playing her character because it really gets the Heel heat from me. But HBK is also of the school that the Face is better in the chase, so whoever it is, whether Roxanne Perez, Gigi Dolin or even Lyra rising back up, they’re going to go after Tiffany over the summer.
In Bron VS Melo, I feel like Bron’s logo needs to change colors to go with his Heel side. Instead of the cyan, magenta and yellow, it should be like red, white and black. He was even wearing a white wolf mask with a black hoodie that was all “torn up and bloody,” so there it is: red, white and black. But naturally, Melo was winning here, 2-0 and winning the blowoff in his hometown. Great moment that Melo got to keep, no new challenger showing up at the end to shift attention or anything. That can be on Tuesday when Trick Melo Gang surely celebrates this win. Much like Wes and his title, Melo can move on to just about anyone for a fresh new feud to truly define Melo’s reign.

RJ City interviews Arn Anderson.
RJ is intimidated by The Enforcer, and he asks that in tonight’s TNT Championship match, Wardlow’s title will be hanging from the rafters because he got goaded into a ladder match. It feels like they’re playing into Christian Cage’s hands, what is the plan to win? Arn asks, “What makes you think anybody got goaded into their hands?” Arn reminds us that he and Wardlow are playing chess to Christian’s checkers, and they were the ones goading Christian into a match. Does RJ know how heavy a 10 foot ladder is? Arn sure doesn’t see Christian carrying one around much. But he does see Wardlow having yet to unleash what we’re about to see tonight, “in a town that’s up all night long.”
This isn’t them playing around, they’re getting down to business. And Wardlow’s going off tonight. RJ asks Arn if he’s packing heat tonight. Arn chuckles. The Firm may have been DELETED, but All Ego & The Ass Boys still want to bring Matt & Jeff Hardy down! However, taking out Isiah Kassidy only opened the door to the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil! Will the FTW Champion help The Hardys take control of Ethan’s life? Or will Hook & The Hardys be the ones rendered OBSOLETE?
The trios sort out and Hook starts against Austin. They circle, tie up, and go around. Austin wrenches an arm to a wristlock but Hook wrenches back. Hook wristlocks while the fans taunt the “ASS~ BOYS!” Austin wrenches, hammerlocks, headlocks, but Hook power up and out. Austin runs Hook over and fans boo but Austin tells Hook to “SUCK IT!” But Hook gest the leg to a KNEEBAR! Austin gets the ROPEBREAK, Hook lets him go, and the two reset. Ethan tells fans to shut up before he steals their girl. Austin rushes in, but Hook waistlocks and SLAMS him! Fans fire up, Hook gets the arm, and he grinds the shoulder.
Hook brings Austin over, he tags in Matt, and Matt goes up. The fans fire up for the AX HANDLE! Hardy wrenches the arm, ELBOW BREAKER after ELBOW BREAKER, “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” Tag to Jeff, he and Matt double whip to double elbow Austin down. SENTON FIST DROP COMBO! A classic! Cover, TWO! Jeff CLUBS Austin, brings him up and wrenches. Tag to Hook and Hook takes a handoff to a SAYANAGI! Colten storms in but into a SAYANAGI! Ethan storms in, but into a SAYANAGI! Fans cheer and chant “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” with Matt. The fans then taunt the “ASS~ BOYS!” as they and Ethan regroup. Ethan tells them to get their heads in the game, this is his contract they’re fighting for! Austin tells fans to shut up, but then Hook & The Hardys go out after Ethan & The Gunns! Matt SMACKS Ethan off steel steps, Hook puts Austin in the ring, but Colten turns things around to SMACK Jeff off a corner crossbar! Hook shoulders into Austin but Colten anchors Hook. Hook kicks Colten away, DECKS Ethan, then goes in, but Austin dodges. Austin trips Hook, runs in, BULLDOG!
Austin drags Hook back, tags Colten, and Colten brings Hook to bump him off buckles. Colten stomps a mudhole in, he soaks up the heat and taunts Matt. The ref keeps Matt back, but Ethan uses that to CHOKE Hook! Ethan tags in, he brings Hook along and bumps him off the buckles. Fans rally, Ethan throws hands but Hook counter punches! Fans fire up as Hook backs Ethan down with forearm after forearm! Hook whips, Ethan reverses but Hook BOOTS back! Hook goes up but Ethan ROCKS him! Then scoops to POWERSLAM! Ethan BLASTS the Hardys and fans boo, but Austin tags in.
Ethan tells the fans to kiss this, then Austin puts Hook in the corner. Austin goes corner to corner, but Hook dodges! Austin POSTS himself and then goes out of the ring! Colten and Ethan hurry to get Austin up and into the ring! Ethan tags in, he drags Hook from the Hardys, but Hook shoots around to EL CAMINO! Hot tags to Colten and Matt! Fans rally as Matt rallies on Colten with forearms! And then “DELETE!” buckle bumps! Fans fire up but Austin runs in, but into a SIDE EFFECT! Colten kicks low, whips but Matt reverses, SIDE EFFECT! Ethan CLUBS Matt, bumps him off buckles, and blocks a boot!
Ethan swings but Matt catches Ethan to a SIDE EFFECT! Colten storms up, Matt DECKS him! Matt goes up, ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Colten stays in this for Ethan but Matt calls his shot! She welcomes us to the opening ceremonies for the 2023 Owen Hart Cup, and welcomes out Dr. Martha Hart. Martha makes her entrance and has a mic of her own. Renee says it is always so great to have Marth, and it was this time last year that we had the tournament finals. This year, it all kicks off on Forbidden Door weekend. Yes, and Martha wants to say she is so happy to be back in beautiful Las Vegas. She is so happy to be back here with the AEW Family, and her own Owen Hart Foundation and her own family. She welcomes us all to the opening ceremonies of this year’s tournament to celebrate one of the most memorable wrestlers of all-time in Owen Hart.
Fans chant “OWEN! OWEN!” and Martha says that while last year, we were to dress up in bling and such, but the tournament is turning on its head and getting “gangster” this year. Maybe we should have our fedoras. Tony Khan walks out in such a fedora, with the Owen Hart Foundation logo on it. And Martha says this is not wrapping here but kicking off in Canada! And this will round up in Calgary at “the greatest outdoor show on earth,” the Calgary Stampede, July 15th! Make sure to bring your cowboy hats, pardners! Who will be in on this great tribute tournament to become the 2023 King and Queen of Hart?

Or will someone come out of this the brand new champion?
Cassidy is the only one standing in the ring while everyone else surrounds him on the outside. The belt is raised, the bell rings, and Kip Sabian rushes in! Kip throws Cassidy up and over, but Cassidy holds onto the ropes! Naturally, Jay White & Juice Robinson go after Starks, Bandido goes after Kip and ends up saving Cassidy. Kip bumps Bandido off buckles, Fenix stomps Cassidy, and Penta just revels in the chaos. Penta goes after Daivari with CHOPS, Kip takes Cassidy’s sunglasses, but Fenix stomps Cassidy. Kip tries to throw Cassidy out again but he holds onto ropes to save himself. Cassidy throws elbows, Kip staggers away, The Butcher & The Blade go after Naturally Limitless, doing Swerve Strickland’s work for him. Starks lands on the apron, he ROCKS Juice, shoulders into White, then goes after them both! Josh Woods helps Daivari stay on the apron, and Komander tightrope walks?! He SUPER TORNILLOS Morrissey & Moriarty! Fans lose their minds and Komander gets back to the ring. White CHOKES Penta on the ropes, stomps him, then stomps Ricky. Bandido stomps Juice, Komander stomps Tony Nese, Bandido SUPERKICKS Juice! There’s still brawling on the outside, and the Lucha Amigos get the fans all fired up! They bring Nese up, “CERO! MIEDO!” Bandido suplexes Nese, and the others play defense! Bandido holds Nese up for TEN while forearms and SUPERKICKS fly all around! Then at TWENTY, the SLAM!! Bandido has everyone fired up and Bandido trophy lifts Nese! He still has the power to do that!? And then he TOSSES Nese out onto Woods to ELIMINATE him!! Fans are thunderous and Mark Sterling hurries to his team.
Daivari dumps Penta out but Penta lands on the apron. Penta drags Daivari up and over, “CERO! MIEDO!” But Nese anchors Penta’s foot! Daivari kicks low, then reels Penta in! Daivari mocks “CERO~! MIEDO~!” But Fenix TIGHTROPE PENALTY KICKS Daivari down, to ELIMINATE him! Fans fire up again, but the Mogul Embassy isn’t impressed. Cage finally gets in and he swings, Komander dodges! Komander springboards but bounces off Cage’s shoulder! Penta runs in but Cage CLOBBERS him! Fenix gets up, cage TOSSES him to a corner to UPPERCUT, PELE, and then sends Penta into him!
Cage waistlocks Penta, who is holding onto Fenix, and Cage DOUBLE GERMAN SUPLEXES them! HE really is a Machine! Bandido runs in to trophy lift Cage!? Cage slips off, throws Bandido to the corner, runs in and he MONKEY FLIPS Bandido!? Cage scoops Bandido, Komander goes up, and he leaps, only for Cage to stay up! Cage POWERBOMB POWERSLAM COMBOS! Cage DISCUS- NO, Fenix SUPERKICKS! and mule kicks! And ROUNDHOUSE! Lucha Brothers DOUBLE SUPERKICK! Double mule kick, then Uno! Dos! Tres! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! And then Wheelbarrow ROLLING SPLASH!
Fans fire up but Bullet Club Gold attacks the Lucha Brothers! They stomp away on them and the other luchadors! Then they go back to Starks, but Starks fights Juice off. BCG lift Komander together, but Fenix makes the save. Penta mule kicks White, the Lucha Bros DOUBLE SUPERKICK Switchblade! Juice is in a corner, Fenix sends Bandido in to back elbow! Fenix sends Penta in to GAMANGIRI! Fenix runs and rolls, SOMERSAULT FOREARM! They snapmare Juice, Komander goes up, and Komander tightrope- NO, White BLASTS Komander down and ELIMINATE him! Then he goes after the other luchadors!
Juice throat chops Penta, then helps White. But starks dumps White over! White holds on, Juice dumps Starks over! Starks dangles off the floor while holding onto the bottom rope! Fans fire up and Starks drags himself back in! Kip scoops Cassidy for a SHOULDER BUSTER, then fireman’s carries! Cassidy holds the ropes, he fights free! Penta KICKS White in the leg! Best Friends and Cassidy get Kip up, TRIPLE POWERBOMB!! Then they TOSS Kip up and out to ELIMINATE him! And then they HUG! You GOT to give the people what they want! But then Big Bill CLOBBERS them all!
Moriarty hits the FANG DRIVER on Cassidy! Moriarty throws him at the ropes but Chuck goes after Moriarty. Cassidy saves himself but Bill goes after Chuck. Bill aims at Cassidy and TOSSES Chuck! Cassidy ducks, Chuck hits the floor, Big Bill ELIMINATES him! So much for helping a friend… Trent jumps on Bill with a SLEEPER, but Bill puts Trent on a corner. White tries to scrape Fenix out, but he has to save Juice from Starks. Bill CHOPS Trent and Trent flops back into the ring! Blade CHOPS Keith Lee, it doesn’t bother him! Keith ROCKS Blade back! Cage and Butcher go after Dustin Rhodes.
Keith CLOBBERS Blade up and out to ELIMINATE him! Swerve is annoyed but Keith just glares back. Cage CLUBS Keith, fires forearms, and they brawl. Swerve is finally ready and he walks tot he ring. Keith ROCKS Cage, Cage JUMP KNEES Keith! Cage spins, into a fireman’s carry! Pop-up, ROLLING ELBOW! But Swerve jumps on to fire hands! Keith throws Swerve off! The two stare down and fans fire up! Cage attacks, but Keith ELBOWS him! Keith blocks Swerve’s kick, Swerve bobs ‘n’ weaves to dodge hands, but then Keith hits him low! Swerve kicks, ROLLING ELBOWS, and fires off fast hands!
Keith shoves Swerve down but Swerve KANGAROO KICKS! Swerve RANAS, but Keith blocks it!! Keith hauls Swerve up, Swerve slips free, but Keith SPLASHES Cage! Swerve ENZIGURIS Keith, somersaults, but into a BIG BANG CATASTROPHE! Swerve crawls to the bottom rope, and Cage KNEES Keith down! The Lucha Brothers have Butcher but he powers out, only for them to DOUBLE SUPERKICK! The Lucha Brothers toss Butcher over, he holds on, but DOUBLE SUPERKICKS send him down! The Lucha Brothers ELIMINATE him! Cage stomps Dustin, Fenix CLUBS Cage, Bandido ELBOWS Moriarty!
bill runs at Bandido but misses! Bandido runs in at Bill but Bill dumps him out. Moriarty BOOTS Bandido and ELIMINATE him! But Trent throws Moriarty over! Moriarty drags Trent out with him, they brawl on the edge! Penta and Fenix go after Cage, White works with Swerve against Naturally Limitless. Trent waistlocks but Moriarty fights with elbows. But Trent APRON HALF ‘N’ HALFS Moriarty and he falls, Trent ELIMINATES him! Bill TOSSES Cassidy, but Cassidy holds onto the ropes! Cassidy skins the cat again, but Bill runs in! Trent takes the shot! Bill’s BOOT ELIMINATES Trent!
Bill stomps Cassidy, Swerve and Keith encounter each other again. Keith throws hands on Swerve, has him on the ropes, then brings him around to TOSS him! Swerve holds on, Cage DUMPS Keith and ELIMINATES him!! Fans boo but the refs have to keep Keith from going after Swerve and Cage! Cage drags Swerve into the ring, but Dustin gives Cage a CROSS RHODES!! Swerve is too busy taunting Keith, he misses Dustin dump Cage out! Dustin stomps Cage’s head, but Swerve CLUBS Dustin! Swerve throws hands on Dustin, but Dustin kicks low to RHODES UPPERCUT! The Lucha Brothers are also brawling with Bullet Club Gold!
The CHOPS go back and forth between Lucha Brothers and BCG. BCG whip but the Lucha Bros reverse to send BCG both up and over! BCG gets back in, White blocks a superkick and lets Juice lift Fenix! Juice dumps Fenix out but he hold son! Penta runs in, but he is sent into Fenix! Penta ELIMINATES his brother!! But then Starks clotheslines Juice up and out to ELIMINATE him!! Fans fire up as Starks fires hands on White! But White hits a SWINGING URENAGE! Cage throws Dustin up and over but Dustin holds onto ropes. Penta looks at White and fans fire up. “CERO! MIEDO!” And a pie face!
White gets mad, he swings on Penta but Penta ducks to kick, and KICK! “CERO! MIEDO!” Penta runs, springboards, but into BLADERUNNER!! White drags Penta up, but Starks SPEARS White!! Starks TOSSES and ELIMINATES White!! But Juice drags Starks out to throw hands! Fans boo, the refs get Juice back, but White drags Starks up to RAM him into the railing! Swerve throws knees into Cassidy, the refs check Starks, and Cage CHOKES Dustin. Bill sees Starks crawl in and stalks him. Penta goes after Cage with a SLEEPER, and he drags Cage from Dustin. Swerve drags Cassidy up while fans rally for Starks.
Bill shakes his head, he drags Starks up and aims. Bill TOSSES Starks, but Starks stays on the apron! Bill runs back in, but Starks ROCKS him! Starks hurries in, fires hands on Bill, then CHOPS! Bill scoops Starks! Starks slips free, dodges, but Bill BOOGS Starks up and over!! Bill ELIMINATES Starks!! Fans boo, but then Dustin dumps Cage out! They’re both on the apron, APRON DESTROYER for Cage!! Cage falls, Dustin ELIMINATES him! But Swerve’s HOUSE CALL ELIMINATES Dustin!! And now we have a final four: Big Bill, Swerve, Penta, and the champion, Orange Cassidy!
Fans fire up as each man has a corner. Fans rally for “CERO! MIEDO!” and “FRESHLY SQUEEZED!” Nothing for Bill or Swerve. That makes them mad, they runs in, but Penta dodges Swerve to SUPERKICK Bill! Swerve runs in again, Penta blocks the kick and feeds it to Cassidy so Penta can SUPERKICK Swerve! And then Penta SUPERKICKS Cassidy! Swerve runs back in but Penta dodges to come back and SLINGBLADE! Penta whips Cassidy, he reverses, but Penta goes up and over and hits a BACKSTABBER! Fans fire up but Bill steps up. Penta CHOPS Bill, KICKS and KICKS and KICKS, then “CERO! MIEDO!”

The Undisputed One’s return was victorious, but the overly sensitive Wizard would not stand for it. Since then, the JAS has done everything they can to ruin Cole’s time back in AEW, even going so far as to set up a trap for Cole and girlfriend, Britt Baker. Jericho has been hypocritical, disrespectful and conniving, but has it all finally come back to haunt him in the worst way possible? Or will not even having the homicidal, suicidal, genocidal, death-defying ECW legend be enough to help Adam Cole BAYBAY?
Actually, let’s not forget Cole has the Savior of the Backbreaker! Cole, Strong and Sabu all bring chairs to the ring, and the JAS moves to intercept! Menard gets a chair to the gut, Parker gets a chair to the face! Cole rushes in and goes right for Jericho to TACKLE him! The bell rings so this is official, and Garcia goes after Cole! Sabu throws more chairs at Hager and Menard! Jericho & Garcia mug Cole, CHOKE him, but Sabu gets in the ring with a chair! Jericho gets a chair, too! Fans fire up as we take a trip back in time! Meanwhile, Garcia CHOKES Cole! Sabu and Jericho dare each other to make a move!
The JAS get tables and other things while the chairs CLASH! CLASH! And CLASH! Sabu wins out to SMACK Jericho down! Cole stops Menard & Parker from setting up tables, to then put them on it! Sabu goes up to FALLING SPLASH through the table!! Sabu is still all those things they say he is! Fans are thunderous but then Garcia CLOBBERS Sabu! Garcia ROCKS Strong, RAMS him into railing, and Hager RAMS Strong into the apron! And then into more railing! Sabu sends Garcia into railing! Strong does the same to Hager! Cole and Jericho finally get in the ring, this is who’s supposed to be fighting anyway!
Sabu & Strong clear the JAS out so now, Jericho has no choice. “What you got, Chris?!” This is ADAM COLE BAYBAY! And the fists fly!! The fans fire up, Cole knees low and TOSSES Jericho out hard! Cole gets the arm to SLAM it off the steel steps! And then SLAMS the other arm! Cole puts Jericho in, drags him to a corner, and he SLAMS a leg against the post! And then the other leg! And then back again! Jericho writhes on the apron while fans rally up. Cole goes up onto the apron then in the ring. Cole ROCKS Jericho and has him sit down. Cole then goes up a corner, aims, PANAMA- NO, Jericho blocks!
Jericho hits low, then suplexes Cole to the floor! The ref checks Cole but he’s okay to continue. Jericho stands first, soaks up the cheers and jeers, and then Jericho flips everyone off. Jericho drags Cole up, CLUBS him, then brings Cole up. Cole fights the bomb, but Jericho DROPS Cole on the apron! Jericho then drags Cole up and around the way, to RAM into steel steps! Cole tumbles over and fans fire up again. Jericho drags Cole up, SMACKS him off the apron, and has him in the leg. Jericho CHOPS Cole to a corner, CHOPS him again, then stalks him to another corner. Jericho gets in Cole’s face, and SLAPS him!
Fans rally for Cole but Jericho goes back to him. Cole shoves Jericho, throws body shots, then runs, but into a LARIAT! Jericho grabs a chair left behind by Sabu, and he CHOKES Cole with it! The ref can only ask if Cole gives up, but Jericho JAMS Cole low! Jericho wedges a chair into a corner, ROCKS Cole with a forearm, then whips him in. Cole reverses, kicks and then whips Jericho to the open corner. Jericho BOOTS back, runs in, but is sent into the chair!! Jericho falls right over, but he isn’t out of this yet. Jericho stands, Cole fires off forearms on him! Fans fire up as Cole BOOTS Jericho, then runs.
Jericho CLOBBERS Cole! Jericho stomps Cole, fans rally up, and Jericho LION- SUPERKICK!! Cole takes Jericho out of the air! Fans fire up, Cole goes up the corner again, aims, PANAMA- NO, Jericho trips Cole! Cole fights it but Jericho still puts him in the WALLS OF JERICHO!! Cole endures, reaches out, crawls over, and he grabs the ropes, but ropebreaks don’t matter in this, this is No Holds Barred! Cole remembers, crawls further on, grabs at the skirt and sees something! Cole grabs the fire extinguisher! But Cole is also fading being stuck in the ropes and the hold! But then Jericho drags Cole in from the ropes!
Cole has the extinguisher, he brings it around, and BLASTS Jericho! Jericho lets go while fans fire up! Cole crawls back to the extinguisher, picks it up, and he CLOBBERS Jericho with it! Cover, TWO!! Jericho survives a canister to the head but Cole just glares at him. Cole drags Jericho up, but Jericho CHOPS! And CHOPS! And then he flops over! Cole talks trash on Jericho, sits him up and runs, but Jericho hits a CODE BREAKER! Cover, TWO!! Cole survives and Jericho seethes. Jericho grabs the extinguisher, he BLASTS Cole now! And a long one, too! Jericho then just sprays it all around!
Jericho drops the canister onto Cole’s stomach! Fans fire up as Jericho goes outside, drags a kendo stick out from under the ring, and has a big grin on his face. Jericho gets in the ring, holds up the stick, and Cole sits up. Jericho pints the stick at him, but here comes BRITT! She has a kendo stick, too! And fans fire up for the “DMD!” as she fires off on Y2J! She SMACKS and SMACKS and SMACKS him! “How’s it feel, Chris!?” Britt SMACKS her more and more and the fans are loving it! But Saraya runs in, only to get a SMACK! Britt chases Saraya off and SMACKS her as she goes! As for Cole, he gets the kendo stick now!
Jericho is stinging as he leans against the ropes, but Cole storms up behind him. Cole CHOKES Jericho with the stick! “I’ll end you, Chris! I’ll end you!!” Jericho sputters, stands, but into a BACKSTABBER!! Cover, TWO!! Jericho survives but by only so much! Cole gets the stick back to CHOKE Jericho again! Fans chant “We Want Tables!” but Cole goes out to the apron. Jericho grabs the chair, but Cole climbs a corner. Jericho CHUCKS the chair at Cole! Direct hit to the head, and then Cole falls through the table!! Vegas loses its mind after getting what they wanted! The ref checks Cole, but he’s somehow okay to continue.
Jericho drags Cole from the wreckage, and says “You see what happens when you mess with Chris Jericho?” Jericho drags Cole up to dribble his head off the apron! Jericho shoves Cole into the ring, then brings out a chain! And it has cuffs on it! Fans chant “YOU SUCK EFF!” but Jericho just grins. Jericho goes into the ring with the shackles, and he cuffs one end to Cole’s wrist. Jericho has the other end, swings the cuff around like a morning star, but Cole body shots Jericho! DDT onto the chair! Cover, TWO!! Cole sees the other cuff, and he puts it on Jericho! This has turned into a handcuff match!
Jericho freaks out, tries to run but Cole YANKS him down! And then SUPERKICKS! Cole goes up a corner, reels Jericho in, and PANAMA SUNRISE!!! Cover, TWO!?!? Jericho survives and Cole is a bit surprised. Cole drags Jericho up, runs, but Jericho ducks the Boom to roll Cole up, TWO!! Jericho LASHES Cole with chain! And LASHES him again! And again! Cole writhes but sits up, and Jericho JUDAD- NO, Cole ducks! But Jericho CHOKES Cole with chain! Jericho brings Cole up, and then has Cole hanging off his shoulder! But Cole kicks off the corner! Cole kicks the arm, then SUPERKICKS Jericho down!
Fans fire up again as Cole reloads, runs, BOOM!! But that’s not enough for Cole, and not enough for the fans! Fans want it “ONE MORE TIME!” and Cole wraps the chain around his knee! Cole runs again, FULL METAL BOOM!! Cole unwraps his leg, and then rains down fists! Fans count, Cole goes to TEN! Then he uses the CHAIN to punch Jericho! And then more bare fists! Jericho’s OUT, the ref calls it!!

AEW World Tag Team Championships, Special Referee Mark Briscoe: FTR VS Team Triple J w/ Karen Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh!
After the loss of his blood brother, the Sussex County Chicken has been leaning on his friends. But who really are his friends? Is it Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler, who he has gone to war with? Or is it Jay Lethal, who Mark has known for a long time? What happens when his friends put him in the middle of their own heated rivalry?
Mark takes his referee duty seriously by checking everyone’s gear. He then takes the belts and raises them, and we see how personal this match gets!
The teams sort out, Lethal starts against Dax, and Mark has the bell ring. Fans rally for “FTR! FTR!” which upsets the Jarretts. Lethal and Dax tie up, go around, Dax headlocks for a takeover but Lethal headscissors. Dax kips free and the two stand off. They go again, Dax waistlocks but Lethal wrenches to a wristlock. Lethal YANKS the arm, wristlocks and then armlocks, but Dax fights up. Dax whips Lethal but Lethal runs him over! Things keep moving, Dax scoops but Lethal slips out to O’Conner Roll! Mark checks, TWO! Lethal is upset at the delay, but Dax scoops. Lethal turns it into a cradle, TWO!
Lethal arm-drags, Dax headscissors, Lethal kips free, but Dax hits a headlock takeover! Lethal’s shoulders are down, Mark calls it, ONE! Lethal fights up, powers Dax to a corner and Mark calls the ropebreak. Lethal throws a cheap shot and Mark scolds him, but Lethal CHOPS! Lethal CHOPS again, but Dax CHOPS in return! Lethal sputters, Dax CHOPS him again! Lethal CHOPS, Dax CHOPS, and fans “WOO~” with every CHOP! Dax headlocks, Lethal powers out and ELBOWS him out! Lethal CLUBS Cash into the ring! Jarrett joins in, Triple J mugs Cash! They double whip, Lethal runs in but Cash goes up and over!
Cash dodges Jarrett, Dax DOUBLE CROSSBODIES! And FTR DOUBLE DROPKICKS! Then then DOUBLE ATOMIC DROP and Triple J collide! FTR have each man in a corner, whip, but they dosido and FTR takes a swing, into DOUBLE BACK SUPLEXES! But FTR land on their feet and they both trip Triple J! Then double step through, double SHARP- NO, Triple J scramble to DUOBLE ROPEBREAKS! Mark counts, Dax lets go at 4 and Triple J regroups outside. Fans rally up for “FTR! FTR!” Mark wants someone to get in the ring and he starts the count. Lethal gets back in at 3, and he stares down with Dax.
Dax and Lethal circle, tie up, and Dax tags Cash. Cash gets the arm to wrench, ELBOW BREAKER, and repeat. But Lethal knees low, CLUBS Cash down, then ROCKS him with hands! Lethal tells Dax up his, but Mark keeps Dax back. Lethal claps hands and says “Tag!” but everyone knows that doesn’t count! Mark ends up knocking Jarrett over as he gets in! Jarrett gets mad but Mark says he is the authority so you respect him! Lethal argues with Mark, but Cash CHOPS Lethal! Karen shouts at fans, Cash CHOPS Lethal to the corner. Dax tags in, FTR whip and DUOBLE BACK DROP! Then they CLOBBER Jarrett!
Mark says one in and one out. Dax DUMPS Lethal onto Jarrett! Karen complains, but Dax tags Cash. FTR run in to slide out, and they ROCK Triple J, and then RAM them into each other! Cash puts Lethal in, Lethal whips Cash away and things speed up. Karen distracts so Jarrett can dump Cash out! And Jarrett gets a chair! Mark sees that and says hell no! Jarrett drops the chair, drags Cash up and RAMS him into railing! Fans rally for FTR but Mark scolds Jarrett. Jarrett still RAMS Cash into the railing again. Mark goes out to check Cash, and he tells everyone to get in the ring. Sonjay mocks FTR while Lethal drags Cash in.
Lethal snap suplexes Cash but the fans rally for FTR. Lethal pretends he can’t hear them so they boo. Lethal drags Cash up, tags Jarrett, and Triple J double whip. Cash reverse to send Lethal, but Jarrett hits the RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Triple J swagger about, Jarrett drags Cash up and puts him on ropes to CHOKE! Mark counts, Jarrett lets off, but KAREN CHOKES Cash!! The fans boo but Jarrett STRADDLE ATTACKS Cash! Tag to Lethal, he stomps away on Cash, and stomps him into a corner! Mark scolds, but Lethal still drags Cash up. Lethal UPPERCUTS Cash down! Karen mocks the fans while Lethal CHOKES Cash more!
Mark counts, Lethal lets off, and he tags Jarrett in. Triple J stomp away on Cash, fans rally up for Cash but Karen cheers her hubby on. Jarrett just stomps Cash from head to toe! Then he struts! And flips Dax off! Mark keeps Dax back, Jarrett soaks up all the heat but Cash hits low! Lethal tags in, Triple J whip Cash to ropes, kick low, SWINGING NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Lethal clamps onto Cash with a chinlock and he leans on the hold. Triple J soak up the heat but Cash fights up, to a BIG back suplex! Fans fire up while both men are down! Cash and Lethal crawl, but Lethal sucker punches Dax!
Cash rolls Lethal up! TWO!! Cash has no one to tag, though! Lethal gets the leg to DRAGON SCREW! Lethal drags Cash over, tags in Jarrett, and Jarrett KICKS the leg out! And again! Jarrett drags Cash back, fans fire up, and Jarrett steps through to have the FIGURE FOUR! Cash endures and fans boo but Mark checks with Cash. Cash shakes his head, he isn’t giving up! Cash rests back but has to keep his shoulders up. Mark sees them down, ONE as Cash sits up. Cash falls back again, the shoulders are down, ONE! Cash throws hands on Jarrett! Jarrett thrashes the hold! Cash is down again, TWO!
Cash endures, sits up again and fans rally up. Dax TRIPS Lethal off the apron! Dax goes up top, to DIVING HEADBUTT Jarrett! Karen protests but Mark says now it’s a standing count! The count rises to 3 of 10, Cash crawls but clutches his knee. Fans rally as we pass 5, and then go to 8. Hot tag to Lethal, and he CLOBBERS Cash! Lethal whips, Cash hurdles hot tag to Dax! Dax JABS, JABS, JABS and DECKS Lethal! And DECKS again! Dax CHOPS, JABS and repeat in the corner! Fans fire up, Dax whips corner to corner to clothesline! And then another whip, but Lethal reverses. Dax reverses back to short arm LARIAT!
Fans fire up and Mark gets Jarrett outta the way. Dax suplexes, Lethal slips free, but Dax switches to GERMAN SUPLEX! Dax holds, he brings Lethal up, GERMAN SUPLEX! And he still holds on! But Lethal blocks! Lethal switches, Dax switches, repeat! They go around, Dax BRAINBUSTERS!! Cover, TWO!! Dax is frustrated but fans rally again. Dax drags Lethal up, whips him to ropes but Lethal reverses. Lethal gets under to LETHAL COMBINATION! Fans rally while Dax is down from the backbreaker to neckbreaker. Karen coaches Lethal on while comforting Jarrett.
Lethal goes to the corner, he climbs up, but Dax ROCKS him first! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Jarrett stands, Dax DECKS him! Then CHOPS Lethal! Dax coordiantes with Cash, they both climb up. But Jarrett goes after Cash! Cash throws hands, backs Jarrett down, but Jarrett ROCKS Cash! Sonjay anchors Cash! Mark reprimands but Jarrett POSTS Cash! Dax DECKS Jarrett, but Lethal CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! CHOP! CHOP! CHOP!! Dax finally falls after about five more chops! Lethal adjusts, aims, HAIL TO THE- NO, Dax trips him up! Dax climbs back up, brings Lethal up, for the SUPERPLEX!!
Dax rolls through, brings Lethal up, and Cash is up top, DOOMSDAY POWERBOMB!! Cash DIVES onto Jarrett!! Dax covers, but Sonjay drags him out!! The fans boo and Mark is upset, but Dax chases Sonjay! Sonjay gets in the ring, but Mark stops Dax? To then tell Sonjay he is EJECTED!!! Fans fire up and Dax loves it! Sonjay is furious, he brings Satnam with him and fans sing “HEY HEY HEY! GOOD BYE~!” Dax pats Mark on the back, but wait! Jarrett has a guitar! Dax moves, SMASH HIT on Mark!!! The ref is down!! Fans say Jarrett effed up but now Lethal runs in! LETHAL- NO! Dax blocks! SHATTER MACHINE!!!
Cover, but Mark is out! FTR should’ve won by now, but Mark is just out cold! Aubrey Edwards rushes out, but Sonjay stands in her way!! Aubrey tells her to get outta here, and then SHOVES him! But then Karen SMASH HITS Aubrey!!! Fans boo her more than they’ve ever booed her before! But FTR is in shock all the same! Lethal DOUBLE LETHAL INJECTIONS!!! But we still don’t have a ref!! Fans chant “F U KAREN!” but Karen flips off the fans and grabs the belts! She tells them to kiss this, and Jarrett gets in the ring. Jarrett gives Lethal a belt, he drags Dax up, and Lethal takes aim. But Dax BOOTS Lethal!
Dax ELBOWS Jarrett, and PILEDRIVERS Lethal! But Jarrett BELT SHOTS Dax! And hits THE STROKE!! Sonjay wakes Mark up in time for the cover, TWO?!?!?!? Mark was still woozy, that is what saved FTR! “This is Awesome!” “FTR!” “This is Awesome!” “FTR!” Jarrett is furious and tells Mark he screwed this up! He pie faces Mark!? Fans boo as Jarrett shoves Mark into the corner. Mark stands, Jarrett SLAPS him! Mark SLAPS back! SHATTER MACHINE!!! Cover, FTR wins!!

Mark did the right thing and called this down the middle! Triple J did the wrong thing by thinking they could just use him! FTR hug their friend, and they all celebrate! Are Mark and FTR finally done with Team Triple J?

Alex Marvez says Starks took care of business with the Bullet Club Gold in the Blackjack Battle Royal, but unfortunately did not win the International Championship. Starks says he did what he said he would by eliminating both Jay ‘n’ Juice, and- Oh no! BCG attacks Starks! Actually this is par for the course, but still! They beat him down for costing them the title, but then FTR rushes in! BCG run off, FTR help Starks to the medical area. Will Starks find some unlikely allies against the Switchblade & Rock Hard?
AEW Media catches up with Jericho and Saraya.
Both of them are furious after the Unsanctioned Match didn’t go Jericho’s way. “Did you see how I just lost the Unsanctioned Match to Adam Cole via referee stoppage? Adam Cole is insane! Adam Cole is a barbarian! Adam Cole is a bastard!” Saraya agrees, and Cole’s just like Britt! That B*TCH! Hitting them with kendo sticks!? What kind of a woman hits a man with a kendo stick?! They ask- NO, they DEMAND a mixed tag match on Dynamite! This has to stop! Jericho & Saraya VS Cole & Britt! This needs to stop! This is what happens when you mess with Jericho! Security tells Jericho to calm down but Saraya you don’t talk to him like that!

AEW TNT Championship Ladder Match: Wardlow VS Christian Cage w/ Luchasaurus!
The Maestro of Mayhem made it through the Monstar, but now he faces a monster. No, not the Right Hand of Destruction, but Captain Charisma, who is really more like the Chief of Cheap Shots. Christian insulted Wardlow’s deceased father and what supposed little impact he had on anyone’s life, and that is a step too far. Will Wardlow have a major impact on Christian’s life tonight? Or will Captain Charisma remind us that he is the Lord of Ladders?
Surprisingly, Christian has Luchasaurus leave ringside! Is Christian really going to do this 1v1? Does he really think he can survive doing this 1v1? The introductions are made, the belt is already high above, and we see who climbs over the other to bring it down!
The bell rings, fans chant for “WARD~LOW!” but Christian talks trash that he’s going to be champion. The two feel things out as they circle, and then Christian kicks low! And UPPERCUTS! Wardlow blocks the whip, kicks low, and CLUBS Christian down! Wardlow drags Christina back up, trophy lifts, but Christian slips off. Christian shoves Wardlow but Wardlow blows through the clothesline to then run Christian over! Wardlow winds up, Christiand ucks the lariat, and he chicken wings! But Wardlow powers out of the Killswitch to RAM into Christian at the corner! And again! Wardlow sits Christian down and fans fire up.
Wardlow goes out to DECK Christian from the outside. Wardlow goes for a ladder but Christian CLOBBERS Wardlow! Christian throws hands, Wardlow hits back. Wardlow puts Christian in the ring, gets a ladder, and fans fire up. But Christin DROPKICKS the ladder into Wardlow! And then PLANCHAS, but into the ladder! Wardlow paces and scowls while Christian crawls. Wardlow looks under the ring, and he brings out a TABLE! Vegas likes where this is going, because he gets another table! Wardlow sets those up at ringside, side by side, and then CLUBS Christian. Wardlow SMACKS Christian off the steel steps, and then again!
Wardlow brings Christian around and puts him on the tables. Wardlow throws down hands to keep Christian down, and then Wardlow goes into the ring. Wardlow climbs up, fans fire up, but Christian scrambles away! Fans boo but Wardlow hops down. Wardlow stalks Christian around the way, but Christian sucker punches Wardlow! And RAMS him into railing! Christian stalks Wardlow, gets a ladder, and he RAMS Wardlow down! Christian puts the ladder in the ring, then grabs a really big ladder and RAMS Wardlow with that! Christian makes that ladder a bridge between ring and railing, then goes under.
Wardlow knees low! And CLUBS Christian, and then puts him on the ladder. Wardlow CLUBS Christian more, then box jumps to the apron! Fans fire up, Wardlow brings Christian up, but Christian slips free to UPPERCUT! Christian trips Wardlow up! Wardlow gets crotched on rungs! Fans boo but Christian gets in the ring. Christian sets a ladder up but Wardlow crawls his way back in. Christian sees Wardlow, stomps him down, then stomps him right in the gut! Fans boo as Christian digs his boot in. Christian then sets the main ladder into a corner. Fans taunt Christian’s turtleneck, but he whips Wardlow. Wardlow reverses and Christian hits the ladder!
Wardlow reels Christian in but he slips under, to then RAM Wardlow into the ladder! Wardlow staggers about, Christian puts the ladder in the ropes, and then he puts Wardlow under the ladder. Christian has the legs, CATAPULT LADDER GUILLOTINE!! Fans boo while Wardlow clutches his head and neck, but Christian soaks up the heat. Christian brings the ladder around to be under the belt, and Christian climbs. Christian reaches up, gets fingertips on the belt, but Wardlow tips the ladder! HOTSHOT, and LARIAT! Wardlow catches his breath, brings the ladder up, then stomps Christian.
Wardlow climbs, but slowly, only for Christian to anchor his foot! Wardlow climbs back down to drag Christian up. Christian grabs the ladder to escape the bomb! Fans freak out, but Wardlow quickly yanks Christian back down! POWERSLAM! Fans fire up again and Wardlow decides to put the ladder down. Wardlow drags Christian up, trophy lifts him, and he walks around in a circle, SUPER AIRPLANE SPIN, to then DROP Christian on the ladder!! Christian sputters and falls out of the ring while fans cheer on “WARD~LOW!” Wardlow stands the ladder up, shakes out the junk, and climbs up.
But wait, Luchasaurus returns! The Right Hand shoves Christian into the ring and Christian goes after Wardlow! Christian drags Wardlow down, REVERSE DDT off the ladder! Wardlow writhes but Christian puts the ladder in a corner. Fans start to rally for Christian and we have a fan duel. Christian lines up his shot as Wardlow stands, and Christian runs in! But into a LOW BLOW! And then an Alabama Lift, ALABAMA SLAM on the ladder!! Wardlow then drags the ladder out, with Christian on it! Wardlow goes up the corner, fans fire up as Wardlow SWANTON BOMBS only onto ladder!!! Even Jeff Hardy would’ve reconsidered that!
Wardlow flops out to the apron and Christian picks the ladder up to RAM Wardlow down! Christian then sets ladder up under the belt and climbs. But ARN is here! Fans fire up as Arn coaches Wardlow up. Wardlow hurries up the corner, to LEAP into this ladder! The ladder breaks and they both fall down!! Fans lose their minds as Wardlow grabs his own leg. Was that Arn’s idea or what? Wardlow hobbles up, stands the busted ladder up, but no, this isn’t gonna work. Right? Wardlow still wants to try! A ref stabilizes it but that messes it up! Wardlow gets a new ladder, but Luchasaurus gets in! Choke grip, CHOKE SLAM!
Luchasaurus drags Wardlow up again, another CHOKE SLAM!! But Arn gets in!? Fans fire up as Luchasaurus turns around, and choke grips Arn!! But Arn BITES the hand!! Luchasaurus and Arn scrap, Luchasaurus’ finger is bleeding!? Arn has just pissed Luchasaurus off! Luchasaurus goes out to choke Arn! And he brings him to the table! But Wardlow SMACKS Luchasurus with a chair! And SMACKS him again! Luchasaurus is on the tables now! Fans are fired up as Wardlow positions perhaps the tallest ladder in the building! Arn helps stabilize and Wardlow climbs! SUPER SWANTON BOMB through the tables!!!
Now THAT is something Jeff Hardy would’ve done! Fans are electric and losing their minds while both big men are down in the wreckage! But Christian peeks his head out from under the ring! Christian sees an opening and hurries to get in! Christian grabs a ladder, Wardlow sits up, and fans rally up! Christian stands the ladder up, climbs up, but ARN gets in the ring! Christian has a finger on the belt! But Arn tips the ladder, Christian jumps off, but into Wardlow’s arms! POWERBOMB!! Arn resets the ladder, Wardlow climbs it, and Wardlow grabs the belt! Wardlow brings it down and WINS!
Winner: Wardlow (still AEW TNT Champion)

AEW Women’s World Championship: Jamie Hayter VS Toni Storm!
A tale as old as time in pro-wrestling: two best friends are torn apart by success, ambition, jealousy and pride. The two were at odds even before Hayter defeated Storm to become champion, and things have only escalated from there. Will Hayter have to hit Storm even harder to end this? Or will being an Outcast be exactly what Storm needs to strike Hayter down?
But speaking of, where is Hayter? The music plays but she doesn’t appear. Storm acts all surprised, even though we know what The Outcasts did to her just last Friday. Wait, Soho & Saraya throw Hayter out on stage! They go after the bad arm and mug her! Soho has the belt, Saraya says “This is OUR house!” and then Storm goes out to meet her new friends. The Outcasts continue to mug Hayter, and Storm RAMS Hayter into railing! And then they pull her bad arm into the post! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Storm lets off. Saraya says everyone in Vegas are losers, and Storm RAMS Hayter into the steel steps!
The ref tells them all to stop but the Outcasts put the arm against steps, to DROPKICK! And DROPKICK again! Fans boo, The Outcasts put Hayter in, and the ref tells them to stop. Hayter says ring the bell so the bell rings! Storm BOOTS Hayter, covers, TWO!! Storm stomps Hayter’s bad shoulder, fans rally up, and Storm drags Hayter up. Storm grinds the arm, Saraya pulls off a buckle pad, and Storm stomps the arm. Fans rally for Hayter but Storm stomps her. The pad is off, but here comes Britt! Didn’t Saraya think this would happen again?! Britt fires off on Saraya but Storm CHOKES Hayter!
The ref reprimands Storm, she lets off, but then the ref argues with Soho about the buckle pad. Storm whips, Hayter reverses, and Storm goes into the ref and Soho! Hayter gives Storm the HAYTEBREAKER!! Cover, the ref is here, TWO!! Storm survives and she distracts the ref, Soho undoes another pad! Hayter storms over, but gets SPRAY PAINT to the face!! SWEET HIP MUSIC!! Cover, TWO!!! Storm & Soho can’t believe Hayter survives! The ref argues with Soho, here comes SHIDA! Kendo stick SMACK for Soho! And then steel steps! Soho avoids the kendo stick, they brawl with forearms now!
Fans fire up for Shida but Storm is furious! Hayter RAMS Storm into bare buckles! HAYTERADE!! But it’s with the bad arm!! Hayter still manages to cover, TWO!!! Storm survives again but Hayter is just getting angrier! Hayter powers up, rips off the shoulder tape, and roars! Fans fire up as she kisses the bicep and drags Storm up again. HAYTER- NO, Storm gets around and shoves Hayter into buckles! STORM ZERO!! Cover, STORM WINS!!
Winner: Toni Storm, by pinfall (NEW AEW Women’s World Champion)

Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews have radically and ruthlessly redefined what these titles are all about, from both the look to how you fight for them. The call was sent out to the world for any and all who would challenge them, so who has answered? It’s THE ACCLAIMED!! Billy Gunn, Anthony Bowens & Max Caster have been rolling as a trio, so they wanna take over everything! And of course, Platinum Max has a diss track!
“Platinum on the mic, are you not entertained? In Vegas, everybody loves The Acclaimed! We leaving Brody King in a sad place, lookin’ like a reject from RuPaul’s Drag Race! Yo, that might’ve been in bad taste, but how does Malakai get away with doing blackface? And Buddy acts all ominous, when he’s get cucked by a kid named Dominik! Yo, listen!” There’s a second verse!? “Yo, we have you on your backs in five minutes. How’s it the House of Black with no Black guys in it? And you can keep the advantage, we don’t need a special rule to kick your emo asses!” Bowens says, “LAAAAS VEGAAAAAS~! The Acclaimed have arrived! SCISSOR ME, DADDY ASS!” And he does~!
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if Caster’s mouth just wrote a check Daddy Ass can’t cash!
Fans sing “OH~ Scissor Me, Daddy~!” as the trios sort out. Bowens and Malakai start, and Bowens says he ain’t scared of the House. The two circle, tie up, and go around. Bowens and Malakai break, then reset. They go again, Malakai waistlocks but Bowens wrenches. Malakai wrenches, Bowens wrenches, repeat, and Malakai clamps onto the arm. Bowens wrenches back, but Malakai waistlocks. Bowens elbows free, but Malakai doesn’t even flinch! Malakai even smirks! Bowens and Malakai circle again, tie up, and Bowens headlocks. Malakai headlocks back, Bowens throws Malakai away but Malakai runs him over!
Malakai brings Bowens up, whips but Bowens reverses, only for Malakai roll off his back! Fans cheer as Malakai sits cross-legged. Bowens sits with Malakai! Fans fire up and Bowens shows off the scissor fingers~! Malakai is not amused as Bowens eggs him on. They both stand, Malakai KICKS Bowens, tags Buddy, and Buddy goes up to DOUBLE STOMP the arm! Buddy wrenches Bowens but fans chant “DOMINIK!” The only place that will… Buddy wrangles Bowens to an armlock but Bowens endures. Bowens fights up, whips, rolls Buddy up, TWO! Buddy wrenches, Bowens ROCKS him!
Fans chant “WE WANT MAMI!” as Buddy swings., Bowens dodges, kicks and runs to KOTARU KRUSHER! “EVERYONE loves The Acclaimed!” Tag to Caster, the Acclaimed double whip, trip and then Bowens runs up, Buddy shoves him back, kicks at Caster, but Bowens DROPKICKS him out! Caster APRON BACK SUPLEXES! Caster puts Buddy in, hurries after and covers, TWO! Fans fire up and Caster drags Buddy up. Buddy knees low! Tag to Malakai and he runs, but Caster keeps up with him. Caster hurdles, drops, then DROPKICKS! But Malakai BOOTS back! Malakai bumps Caster off buckles and tags Brody.
The Kings of the Black Throne mug Caster, whip him corner to corner, but Caster dodges Malakai to send him at Brody! Malakai rolls over Brody’s back, Caster BOOTS Brody, then dodges Brody. Malakai BOOTS Caster into Brody’s LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Caster survives, but Brody drags him up to CHOP! Caster falls to ropes, Brody tags Malakai back in. They double whip Caster to ropes, but Caster holds ropes. Caster BOOTS Malakai, dodges Brody and DROPKICS him out! Caster CHOPS Malakai, bumps him off buckles, and then tags Bowens. The Acclaimed hold Malakai into SMASH in the corner!
Caster ELBOWS, Bowens ELBOWS, then feed to the scoop SLAM! Bowens goes up, fans fire up, SCISSOR ME- NO, Malakai boots Caster away and catches Bowens into a KNEEBAR! Brody goes after Billy and Buddy throws Caster out! Buddy FLYING CLOTHELINES Caster, Brody RAMS Billy into steel steps! Bowens endures the kneebar and the heel hook added on! Brody hoots and barks and fans join him. Brody runs in to CROSSBODY Billy into railing! Bowens reaches, grabs the ropes, but House Rules says NO Ropebreaks! Bowens drags himself up with the ropes, Malakai stays on him, and Bowens stands to kick Malakai!
Malakai lets go but Bowens hobbles and falls over. Fans sing, “OH~ Scissor Me, Daddy~!” but Bowens throws forearms. Malakai hits back, Bowens blocks a kick to spin and fireman’s carry, but Malakai fights! Bowens still hits the USHIGOROSHI, but it was on the bad leg! Both men are down, fans rally up, and Bowens crawls to an empty corner. Malakai stands to trip Bowens and KNEE him int he face! Then a dropdown, takedown, KNEEBAR!! Bowens endures, Malakai drags him over, tag to Buddy! Buddy goes up, METEORA!! Then Buddy BLASTS Caster, hits Billy, but Billy is pissed! But the ref has him stay back!
Buddy smirks and he goes back to Bowens. Buddy drops a knee on the bad leg, tags Malakai, and Buddy pulls on the leg. Malakai kicks Bowens around, fans rally up, and Malakai stalks Bowens to a corner. Malakai stomps Bowens, drags him around by the leg, and has an INVERTED CALF KILLER! Bowens endures, reaches, gets the ropes but still no break. Bowens drags himself up with the ropes and he throws hands! Malakai wobbles, Bowens fires a strike fest! Malakai runs in, Bowens dodges to SUPERKICK! Bowens falls and Malakai is out on his feet! Bowens crawls, Malakai staggers, but Malakai STOMPS Bowens!
Tag to Buddy, he goes after the leg on the ropes, HIP DROP! Another HIP DROP! And then a KNEE DROP! Buddy kicks Bowens around, stays between him and Caster, and puts him in the corner. Fans chant “Who’s Your Mommy?” at Buddy as he KNEE – NO, Bowens puts him on the apron! But Buddy pulls Bowens’ ear! Bowens dropkicks Buddy’s leg out! Bowens crawls, reaches for Caster, but Buddy drags him back! Brody tags in to SENTON! Brody drags Bowens up to CHOP him back down! Brody stomps Bowens to the corner, CHOPS him again, and then he brings Bowens up. Bowens throws body shots!
Bowens JAWBREAKERS, ROLLING ELBOWS, and then runs in, but Brody catches Bowens! Brody RAMS Bowens into a corner, then CHOPS him down! Fans hoot with Brody, but the ref keeps Caster and Billy from getting in. Brody BLASTS them for the hell of it! And then CANNONBALL! Cover on Bowens, but Caster breaks it! Malakai TOSSES Caster out! Then RAMS him into steel steps! Billy is furious but Buddy tags in. Buddy hoists Bowens up, DANTE’S- NO, Bowens slips free to shove Brody into Buddy! Brody runs in but Bowens dumps him out! Buddy drags Bowens away, goes to the ropes, but Bowens BOOTS Buddy up and out!
Bowens crawls, Malakai returns and he drags Bowens! Bowens BOOTS Malakai away! Bowens hurries, fans fire up, but Brody drags Billy down! Billy whips Brody into railing for that! Buddy gets Bowens but Bowens ENZIGURIS! Buddy BOOTS back, goes up, leaps into a SUPERKICK!! Both men are down and Billy is back! Bowens crawls, hot tag to Billy! Daddy Ass DECKS Malakai, DECKS him again, then DECKS Buddy! SPLASH in a corner for Buddy! SPLASH in a corner for Malakai! Billy scoops Buddy for a BACKBREAKER! Malakai runs in, into a COBRA CLUTCH SLAM! Brody is back to CHOP! Billy says F YOU! FAMOUSER!!
Billy throws Buddy out but Buddy ROCKS, GAMANGIRIS, but then gets a GUILLOTINE FAMOUSER!! Billy says “SUCK IT!” but turns around into BLACK MASS!!! Cover, The House wins!

The last time these two faced off, Mark Sterling made it illegal for La Wera Loca to use the Chicken Wing Facebuster because it “belongs” to #ThatBitch. However, this rematch has set Taya free to do whatever move she wants! Will she be the one in 59-1? Or will nothing stop the storm that’s coming?
Jade gets Big Boss Vette to do a live performance of Pretty Girls Walk, and then the introductions are made. The belt is raised, as are the stakes, and we see who walks away with the jackpot!
The bell rings, Taya rushes in, throws forearms, and goes for chicken wings! Jade switches, Taya elbows free, and Jade gets mad now. They go forehead to forehead, and they fire off more forearms! Fans fire up as Taya gets the edge, but then Jade ducks. Taya SLAPS Jade down! Jade scrambles to ropes, Taya runs in, Jade dodges, Taya redirects and CLOBBERS Jade! Fans duel, Taya UPPERCUTS at the corner then snapmares, to run and SLIDING LARIAT! Jade bails out fast and Sterling is there to coach her up. But Taya climbs the corner! Taya CROSSBODIES and wipes out Sterling!! Fans fire up with Taya, but Jade BOOTS her down!
Jade fires up and fans fire up with her now! Jade puts Taya in, “Let’s go!” Jade stomps Taya, drags her up, whips her to a corner, but Taya reverses. Taya runs in but into an elbow! Jade boots but Taya blocks to put her in ropes! KNEE and SLINDING GERMAN!! Fans fire up but Leila talks trash. Taya tells her to stop, but then Leila grabs at Taya! Taya KICKS Leila away, but Leila tries again! Jade BOOTS Taya down! Fans boo but Leila says whatever. Jade drags Taya up, and snap suplexes her to the floor! Jade flexes, she brings Taya up and into the ring, then drags Taya up. Jade whips her to a corner, runs in, and SPINEBUSTER! Cover, TWO!
Jade grows annoyed but she drags Taya up. Jade TOSSES Taya out, then swaggers around. Taya gets up, Jade goes out to CLUB her down. Taya and Jade scrap, and Jade fireman’s carries, to SNAKE EYES Taya off the railing! Jade CHOKES Taya but the ref reprimands. Jade puts Taya in, kicks her around, then has a motorcycle stretch. Taya endures, fans rally and duel, but Jade digs her boot into Taya’s shoulder blade! Taya fights up, fans rally, and Taya arm-drags free! Jade returns but Taya LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Taya keeps on Jade with a whip, but Jade reverses to ROCK Taya! Jade reels Taya in, short arm LARIAT!
Jade says she is the number one champ! And she short arm LARIATS again! Jade drags Taya up, fans chant “JADE~BERG!” as she clotheslines again! Fans are torn but Taya throws body shots! Taya fires off forearms, runs, but Jade gets her for a SLEEPER! But Taya powers up, BLUE THUNDER BOMB!! Cover, TWO!! Jade survives and fans are fired up! Taya pounds the mat, fans rally up, and Jade goes to the apron. Taya runs in, Jade ROCKS her! Jade springboards?! But into a CODE BREAKER!! Both women are down and fans fire up! Taya slaps herself to fire back up, and she goes to Jade.
Taya throws a forearm, Jade throws it back! They go back and forth, fans rally, and Jade whips. Taya reverses to drop toehold! QUEEN ANGELITO STRETCH!! Jade endures, Taya drags her back! Taya relocks the legs, QUEEN ANGELITO STOMP!! Cover, TWO!!! Jade survives and Leila says that’s right! Leila is on the apron, the ref tells her to get down. Taya storms up, Leila swings but Taya BOOTS her down! But Jade rolls Taya! TWO!! Taya stands, Jade runs in, but into a SPEAR!! Taya drags Jade back up, chicken wings, ROAD TO VALHALL!!!! Cover, TWO!??!? How?! Fans cannot believe it, and neither can Sterling!
Taya drags Jade up, fireman’s carries, but Jade slips off! Jade kicks, Taya wobbles, and Jade chicken wings! JADED!!! Cover, Jade wins!!!

SIXTY! AND! ZERO! Sterling gets the mic to say that Jade is undefeated! She has DOMINATED everyone put in front of her, and she is even prepared to wrestle for this title any time! Any place! “But the problem is, there is nobody left!” Jade flexes, but wait. Who is that? Is that… KRIS STATLANDER!? The Galaxy’s Greatest is back again! Sterling is freaking out, he didn’t think this was gonna happen! But Jade says she’s a woman of her word, it’s go time!!

Kris drags Jade out, suplexes, holds it, but Jade knees free! Jade CLUBS Kris and BOOTS her down! Jade chicken wings, but Kris fights it! Kris elbows free, scoops Jade, tucks her, BIG BANG THEORY!! Cover, Kris wins!!!
Winner: Kris Statlander, by pinfall (NEW AEW TBS Champion)
You double down, you lose twice as big! 60-1 is where Jade’s streak ends, all because Kris had #SundayNightFever! Confetti flies as we finally have a second-ever TBS Champion!! Sterling is furious but it is all HIS fault! Will Kris finally reach a new stratosphere now that she has gold?
