Backstage interview with Jurassic Express.

Tony Schiavone notes the big 8 Man Tag they had last week, and the bumps and bruises from that match. Jungle Boy says the entire Express is banged up, with Christian Cage at home nursing his neck and JB’s own head still ringing. But JB’s sarcastic as he says thankfully Luchasaurus can even walk after that “terrifying” powerbomb. Kenny Omega and Adam Cole barge in, Omega saying someone must be desperate giving these guys promo time. Luchasaurus growls but Omega wants him to calm down. Cole dares Luchasaurus to do something, but then the Young Bucks DOUBLE SUPERKICK JB from the other end! And then The Elite mugs Luchasaurus!

Brandon Cutler confiscates the camera while Cole puts JB in a camel clutch to make him watch as Omega and the Bucks get Luchasaurus up for a TRIPLE POWERBOMB into a table! Nick Jackson says, “That felt GOOD! CACAW~!” Omega says they kicked Luchasaurus in the beanbags! “That’s what happens!” Will The Elite continue to bully anyone they want in AEW?

The Inner Circle is here!

Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana & Ortiz are together again after the Men of the Year and American Top Team tried to pick Le Champion apart last night on Rampage. Fans sing Judas again as the five stand in the ring. Santana gets the mic first and asks Miami what’s up! “Damn, one of the only cities we can count on to come two nights in a row, and y’all bring that same energy!” But Santana gets to the nitty gritty. While he and Ortiz have been handling business, they’ve been noticing that their boys are dealing with some American Top Team cabrones. But before he can say more, here come Men of the Year and American Top Team!

Dan Lambert has a question: Is this all the members of the Inner Circle Jerk? Or do they bring in fresh hands every once in awhile for variety’s sake? Fans boo but Lambert asks if they know how many championships American Top Team has given Miami! They should be throwing a parade! Show some damn respect! Jericho says, “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Dan Lambert, the fat faced dips*it!” Lambert is furious as the fans chant that at him. Jericho says it is interesting, seeing Lambert and his nefarious Neanderthals, but Jericho has a question for Paige VanZant.

“You always seem to be wherever the Inner Circle is. You’ve got a little bit of an obsession with Le Champion, maybe? Huh? You maybe gonna try and slide into my DM’s?” She says, “You wish!” Well Jericho says it doesn’t matter, he wouldn’t touch her with her husband’s genitalia. And he sees all the pictures for the Instagram. What filter does she use? Juno, bimbo or bitch? All the jokes are done, though. Before you is a reunited Inner Circle in Miami! No more 5v1 beatings, they are ready, face to face, 5v5! They want a 10 Man Tag, The Inner Circle VS American Top Team & The Men of the Year! Choose whoever you want, because there is NOBODY CRAZIER than the Inner Effin’ Circle!!

Lambert says if it was up to him, they’d beat the Inner Circle’s asses every week and collect the paychecks. But the Men of the Year have bigger plans and that involves championship gold. Lambert sees the biggest mouth on Jericho, the longest rap sheets on Santana & Ortiz, and Hager, he’s got the biggest head on a human being Lambert’s ever seen! Does Hager step feet-first into his shirt and pull it up? The fact is, though, the only one with a title is “Tiny Tim,” so he’s the one with the stroke to get these guys the match they want. The question is, will Sammy step up for the Inner Circle and hear their terms?

Lambert won’t tell anyone his terms now, because he doesn’t wanna waste another breath on the trash balls in the city he used to call his hometown! Scorpio Sky adds that while they wait these seven days, he’ll give them something to thing about. Jericho’s brain might be a little fuzzy after another Masvidal knee, but please don’t forget that Scorpio pinned the GOAT not once but twice. Fans chant, “You Still Suck!” Sammy tells Scorpio to shut up! It doesn’t matter if it’s one, both, or all, Sammy will beat them right now! They must’ve forgotten that he’s the Spanish God and TNT Champion! Sammy says see you next week, “and guess what? I’ma kick all y’alls asses!” Will this war only escalate as the weeks roll bye?

AAA Tag Team Championships: The Lucha Brothers VS ??? w/ Andrade El Idolo!

Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero have refused to join El Idolo’s stable, so he’s brought in “Las Super Ranas,” aka The Super Frogs, to take them on and take those titles! But are these two really the best Andrade could find? Or are these just the only two willing to spend time with the arrogant Andrade?

The introductions are made, the AAA belts are raised, and we see if Las Super Ranas are feeling froggy!

Fenix starts with Super Rana Uno, they circle and tie up, Rana Uno waistlocks but Fenix switches. CM Punk points out that given their height and build, Las Super Ranas is just FTR. Either way, Ranas Uno gets a headlock takeover but Fenix headscissors. Rana Uno kips free, hits another takeover but Fenix again headscissors. Rana Uno kips free, sweeps the leg, covers, ONE! Fenix sweeps the legs, covers, ONE! Fenix handsprings and fans fire up. Rana Uno offers a handshake, Fenix doesn’t, but they tie up with knuckle locks. Rana Uno rolls, wrangles Fenix down but Fenix kips up and goes around the ropes to wrench to a wristlock.

Rana Uno reaches out but Fenix keeps him from Rana Dos. Rana Uno rolls, wrenches, wrangles Fenix again and pulls at the mask! Fans boo, Fenix fights up but Rana Uno waistlocks. Fenix victory rolls to a facebuster! Fenix goes after Rana Uno’s mask in return, but Rana Dos gets in to stop that! Penta gets in to go after Rana Dos’ mask! Rana Uno kicks Fenix away, then he CLUBS Penta down. Las Super Ranas double suplex but Penta saves Fenix, and the Lucha Brothers get around to double mule kick! And off come the masks! Las Super Ranas ARE just FTR! FTR CLOBBER the Lucha Brothers with clotheslines! Fans jeer FTR as AEW goes picture in picture!

FTR paces about, Dax Harwood drags Fenix up to whip and CLOBBER! Then he hauls Fenix up to snap suplex! Cover, TWO! Dax stalks Fenix to ropes, tags Cash Wheeler, and they DOUBLE ROPE GUILLOTINE! Tag to Dax, Fenix arm-drags Cash out but Dax CLOBBERS Fenix from behind! Dax sucker punches Penta, but Fenix throws body shots and a CHOP!

Penta still throws Cash up and out onto Dax! Fans fire up and shout, “CERO! MIEDO!” Fenix goes up top, Penta FLIES to take out Cash and Fenix LEAPS to take out Dax! The Lucha Bros put Dax in as fans lose their minds. Penta gets Dax up, “This is Awesome!” as Fenix climbs back up. But Cash drags Penta down! Penta BOOTS Cash then runs, but Cash dodges the sliding dropkick! Cash has a title belt but Penta ducks the attack to SUPERKICK Cash down!

Penta runs in but Cash TOSSES him into the timekeeper’s area! Fenix tightrope walks and avoids the belt shot to springboard ROUNDHOUSE! Dax O’Conner Rolls, with the ropes! TWO and Dax flies into a corner! Fenix sobats, whips, but Dax reverses! Fenix tiger feint rewinds, but Dax ducks the heel kick to ROCK him with a right hand! Dax whips, Fenix rewinds again to HEEL KICK! Down goes Dax and fans fire up! But here comes Tully Blanchard, in matching frog green! He distracts the ref, Dax has the AAA belt! Fenix goes up and up, MOONSAULT into the BELT SHOT!! Dax gets Fenix up, BRAINBUSTER! Cover, FTR WINS?!?!

Winners: FTR, by pinfall (NEW AAA Tag Team Champions)

Fans boo but “Las Super Ranas” FTR now have these belts! Will Andrade rub this in the Lucha Brothers’ faces forever now?

Backstage interview with Dante Martin & Lio Rush.

Tony Schiavone talks with them about the loss to Malakai Black. Lio says hey, and then says what happened tonight was meant to happen. Moments like this are just growing pains. In order to succeed, you need to fail, and that’s what Dante did tonight: failed. But he failed because of his own doing and he knows that. Lio says, “What did I tell you? Listen to me and everything will be money.” Lio just wants to take Dante on the highest flight possible. From this day forward, Dante will have a new tag team partner. And his name is Lio Rush! Lio offers a fist bump, Dante gives it but a bit reluctantly. How will Dante’s brother, Darius, and even Matt Sydal feel about this?

AEW returns with an interview with FTR & Andrade.

Schiavone finds the NEW AAA Tag Team Champions after they stole those from the Lucha Brothers. They didn’t steal anything! Andrade clearly orchestrated a conspiracy, but FTR says they are the greatest luchadors of all time! MJF joins in the celebration because these titles now belong to The Pinnacle. MJF says hey to Andrade, and “Uno momento dinero, comprende?” Andrade says if MJF wants that in a check or cash. How about both? Alright. They hand over the payment and MJF is loving it! Now remember, this was a one night only thing, okay? Mucho gracias. The Pinnacle goes off to party, but will they have to worry about Death Triangle coming for them?

Jon Moxley VS Wheeler Yuta w/ Orange Cassidy!

The AEW World Title Eliminator bracket hasn’t been revealed but the Maniac is surely wanting to be on it. Will he use The Decoder to make a final case as to why he should be in that tournament?

The bell rings and Moxley CLOBBERS Yuta! Yuta flounders, Moxley puts him on ropes to club away with crossface forearms, but he lets off as the ref counts 4. He drags Yuta up, and gives him an X PLEX! Moxley storms around, rains down furious fists on Yuta, but the ref counts about the closed fists. Moxley lets off, gets in the ref’s face, drags Yuta up, PARADIGM SHIFT! Cover, Moxley wins!

Winner: Jon Moxley, by pinfall

As quickly as he took Yuta out, Moxley heads out! Cassidy goes into the ring to check on Yuta along with the medics, will Freshly Squeezed use the tournament to avenge his protégé?

Backstage interview with Serena Deeb.

Schiavone congratulates her on her defeat over Hikaru Shida and denying her that 50th win, but he asks about Serena’s apparent attitude change. She says it is very simple: It was only a matter of time until she had to drag this division up to HER level. During her time away, she watched this division get way too comfortable and have too much fun. But then Shida rushes in and fires off on Serena! Not getting her 50th win is one thing but this is about that crystal trophy smashed in her head right after! Will Shida get her 50th win and revenge off the Woman of 1000 Holds?

Six Man Tag: The Dark Order VS The Super Kliq!

Convinced that The Elite will interfere with Omega VS Hangman, Hangman’s real friends in the Dark Order called out Adam Cole & The Young Bucks! The Super Kliq already warmed up beating down Jurassic Express, will they only do worse to Evil Uno, John Silver & Alex Reynolds?

The trios sort out but the Super Kliq attacks from behind! Fans boo as they stomp Uno in a corner, stomp Reynolds out of the ring and then throw Silver to the ramp. The Super Kliq focuses on Number 4 and they bring him up for a TRIPLE- NO! Silver RANAS Cole away, then Uno rushes over to throw hands with Matt Jackson! Reynolds climbs up as Uno fires off hands on the Bucks, then Reynolds CROSSBODIES them down! The Dark Order throws Nick Jackson in, the bell rings and Uno runs in to clothesline! Reynolds adds his own, then Silver adds his! Matt runs in but Silver dodges and Matt SPLASHES his own brother!

Uno BOOTS Matt down, Cole returns but into a double hip toss and TU LO SABE! TRIPLE BASEMENT DROPKICK! Fans fire up for Uno, Silver & Reynolds, and Silver mocks the “BOOM!” Uno bumps Nick off buckles, tags Silver in and fans rally for “Johnny Hungy!” Silver HIP TOSSES Nick across the ring then flexes. Tag to Matt, the Bucks double whip and double hip toss to double handspring dropkick!

Matt taunts Uno, covers Silver, TWO! Matt wrenches Silver’s arm, bumps him off Cole’s boot, then tags Cole in. The Super Kliq stomp away on Silver in the corner, “ADAM COLE BAYBAY!” Cole soaks up the heat but Silver fights back! Cole kicks low and turns Silver for a NECKBREAKER! Tag to Nick, Cole drags Silver up and Nick hops up, and he drops ax handles before AEW goes picture in picture.

The ref reprimands but Matt just tosses his hair while Nick chokes Silver at the ropes! Matt drags Silver up and tags Cole in. Matt sucker punches Uno, Nick hits Reynolds! Uno fights back but gets thrown out while Cole and Matt stomp away on Silver! Nick adds his stomps, Cole drags Silver up and snap suplexes! Cover, TWO! Cole drags Silver over, Matt tags in, Matt CLAWS Silver’s back!

Matt mocks the fans rallying up but Silver throws forearms! And KICKS! But Matt RAMS Silver back into the corner! A valiant effort from the Dark Order, but they just couldn’t keep up. But wait! Here comes Jungle Boy! He wants revenge for Luchasaurus, but he’s alone in a 3v1! They throw JB out, then dare him to try something. So JB gets a chair! JB rushes in, Cutler tries to hold JB off but the chair shields JB from the cold spray. JB kicks Cutler low to SMACK him with the chair! The Bucks are furious but they don’t save Cutler from the SNARE TRAP with cold spray!! Cutler taps and JB lets him go as the Super Kliq retreats. Will Jurassic Express regroup and get their revenge in The Elite at some point?

Arn Anderson and Cody Rhodes arrive at Dustin’s school.

And waiting inside are Lee Johnson, Brock Anderson, Red Velvet and KiLynn King. “There he is,” Big Shotty says, “Big Hollywood. Late.” Good to see he decided to grace them with his presence. Cody’s late, and lately he’s been acting like an “arrogant piece of shit.” Velvet SLAPS Cody, but King keeps her from doing more. Arn puts Cody through the old school drill. People attack, Cody reacts. Hip tosses, arm-drags, defending and countering, tying up, but then a sucker punch. Cody gets roughed up as Arn says that in order to be a champion, he has to overcome. Shawn Dean gets Cody with a pretty good enziguri, then King SLAPS Cody.

Cody says he has no idea what’s going on here. This isn’t teaching him anything! Arn has Cody look at a picture. Does he recognize who’s in it? Arn and Dusty. Cody has said he will never do anything that’d let the kids down. Does Cody think that on that given night from the photo, any kids were booing Dusty about what he did to Arn? No, because Arn had it coming. Malakai Black has it coming. Johnson jumps on Cody but Cody elbows him away. Is the American Nightmare going to sharpen his edge so that he can cut down the House of Black?

MJF heads to the ring.

He does a few stretches then gets a mic to speak. “Silencio, por favor.” MJF says it is bad enough that he is inside the place that smells like hookers and gasoline known as “Mid Miami,” but now Justin Roberts is all dressed up as Miami Vice yet forgets how to do his job. He can’t announce MJF for his match with Darby? In that case, MJF will do it for him! “Ladies and gentlemen, just in case you are deaf, dumb, blind, stupid, or by the looks of it, very poor, hailing from the most magical place in the world, Plainview, Long Island, New York! Weighing in at a svelte 226 pounds, he’s better than you and you know it: Maxwell Jacob Friedman, M! J! F!” Alright, Darby, let’s get this over with.

Fans chant, “You Suck! You Suck!” MJF says what really sucks is that Darby isn’t here tonight. So funny, because Darby claims MJF can’t break him mentally. And yet, they have a match scheduled tonight, and Darby no shows like a gutless coward! So maybe Darby was wrong. MJF did break him mentally! Fans boo because we all saw The Pinnacle, in ski masks, mug and brutalize Darby just last week. MJF continues to play the charade and says “Let’s be honest here.” MJF then insults the one fan as “Fat boy” and says he can’t hear him over the guy’s three chins. MJF pretends to be surprised to learn that Darby was attacked last week. Did Schiavone know? This is awful!

MJF says let’s be honest, still pretty unprofessional to not show up for a match. Like, c’mon. This is why Darby will always be the number two guy in AEW. And just like Miami, he will always be #MID. Now MJF is number one! But since he cares about the fans so much, he knows they wanted him to be in action against Darby, so by God, we’ll have that happen. Wardlow, come on out. Wardlow drags referee Bryce Remsberg out and MJF wants the ref to count to ten. If Darby doesn’t appear, the ref will raise MJF’s hand in victory as the past, present and future of pro-wrestling. “Get to counting, cue ball!” The ref counts, MJF wants him to speed up, and at 9, the lights go out!

IT’S STIIIIING~! And he has his baseball bat, too! MJF shoves Wardlow at Sting while he runs away! Sting SMACKS Wardlow with the bat! Wardlow gasps and sputters and Sting dares MJF to get in the ring. MJF fires up, throws off his scarf, jacket and shirt, storms right up to the apron, but then walks away again. Will the Salt of the Earth ever get some grit and face the consequences of his actions?

AEW returns with an interview with Anna Jay.

Schiavone speaks on the tough night for the Dark Order, and Jay starts to comment, but Britt Baker walks in! Britt says “But nothing, because what we witnessed tonight was the most elite faction in all of professional wrestling, The Super Kliq Baybay beat your loser friends, the Dark Order.” They are not losers! Uh, they literally lost, so they’re losers. And Jay is with them so she is a loser, too. She’s also sadly a follower, because she’s nothing without them and Tay Conti. So go have some kumbaya with them and come back when you’re ready. Jay ROCKS Britt with a right! These two brawl, referees rush in, and again Schiavone is in the area of chaos! Will Britt and Jay be joining in the fight of The Elite VS everyone else?

Penelope Ford w/ The Bunny VS Kiera Hogan!

The Superbad Girl wants in on the TBS Championship tournament while The Fire of Hotlanta is ready to heat everything up! Will Ford put Kiera out on her way to the gold?

The bell rings and the two circle. They tie up, Ford pulls hair to put Kiera in the corner, then lets off. Kiera points a finger gun, Ford shoves her but Kiera wraps on a headlock. Ford powers out, things speed up and Ford runs Kiera over! Things speed up again, Kiera jumps but Ford avoids the Thesz Press to arm-drag Kiera down! Ford has the cording hold and she grinds Kiera’s shoulder. Kiera fights up, throws body shots, then whips Ford to a corner. Kiera runs in and clotheslines, then brings Ford out, only for Ford to ROCK her with a forearm! Ford whips Kiera to the corner, back body checks, but Kiera dodges the boot to get a NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO!

Kiera drags Ford up but Ford throws forearms! Ford headlocks to BUCKLE BULLDOG! Ford then drags Kiera out to whip hard into ropes! Fans rally up as Ford paces and AEW goes picture in picture.

Ford shoves Kiera out of the ring, talks some trash and goes out after her. Ford chokes Kiera on the railing! The ref counts, Ford lets off with her hands, but Kiera shoves her away. Ford whips Kiera into railing! Ford smirks as she paces around, then she drags Kiera up to put her in the ring. Ford takes her time getting in then she covers, TWO! Ford grows annoyed but she drags Kiera up for a headlock. Ford puts Kiera on the ropes to choke her again! The ref counts as Ford thrashes around but she lets off to then KICK Kiera in the side. Ford puts Kiera in the ropes to HOTSHOT her! The ref reprimands as AEW goes to break.

AEW returns and Kiera has Ford up top. Kiera CHOPS Ford, climbs up to join her, CLUBS away on Ford’s back, then stands Ford up on the very top. Kiera climbs up to SUPERPLEX! Both women are down but fans fire up! A standing count begins, the two stir and Kiera staggers up as fans rally. Kiera grabs Ford but Ford ROCKS her with a forearm! Kiera CHOPS, Ford CHOPS back! Kiera forearms, Ford gives it back, but Kiera gets the edge! Kira CHOPS, runs, Ford dodges but Kiera comes back to clothesline! Kiera rallies and SHOTGUNS Ford into a corner! Kiera runs Around the World to BOOT WASH! Cover, TWO!

Kiera stays focused as she drags Ford up. Ford breaks free to STUNNER outta nowhere! Ford then fireman’s carries but Kiera fights free to straitjacket and CODE BREAKER! Cover, TWO!! Ford survives and Kiera can’t believe it! Kiera gets fire dup and fans rally as she brings Ford around. Ford throws another forearm, then runs, handspring and CUTTER! Then the SUPERBAD MUTA LOCK! Kiera endures but Ford thrashes her, Kiera taps! Ford wins!

Winner: Penelope Ford, by submission

But Ford doesn’t have time to celebrate, here comes Ruby! Ruby fires off hands on Ford, and The Bunny is nowhere to be seen! Ruby TOSSES Ford, then dares her to bring the fight. The Bunny returns to reinforce Ford but they both retreat. The TBS Championship Tournament is still on the horizon, will this be settled in the bracket?

AEW hears from Miro.

“First I get beat and now you do not answer. Is that funny to you? You know I love my wife, but I can’t go home like this. Does that amuse you? Have I displeased you? Have I not bowed enough? Kneeled enough? Not given your name enough praise?” Miro says God gave him a body of granite but a neck of sand, “Is that some kind of joke?!” Miro questions where his God has gone and why he has forsaken his champion! Miro is done pleading, but he is telling us all. Miro will be his champion or his enemy. If God stays silent over his head, he will continue to snap necks under his boot. Everyone will know pain until Miro becomes champion once again!

Schiavone is in the ring!

Full Gear will be on Saturday, November 13th, and by winning the Casino Ladder Match, this man has earned a world title match! He introduces Hangman Adam Page! Fans fire up to see the Anxious Millennial Cowboy as he heads to the ring. Schiavone says Hangman and Omega, they were long time tag team partners, and then they met in the finals of last year’s World Title Eliminator Tournament. Omega won, he became champion, but now Hangman has his chance!

Hangman takes the mic to say, “Damn I’m excited for Full Gear! And in 2019, my friends and I, we left our home in Ring of Honor, we left our home in New Japan, to start All Elite Wrestling. I was excited then because I believed in our vision. I believed we could and I believed we would change the world, but it feels like the world changed us.” It sure changed Hangman. He told all of us that he’d be the first AEW World Champion, and he failed. He lost to Jericho, he lost to PAC, then he started to lose a lot more. He lost his confidence, his friends, and truthfully, himself.

“But the one thing that it felt like, for whatever reason, that I never seemed to lose, the one thing that grew week after week,” was the fans chanting “COWBOY S*IT!” And fans chant it now! To Hangman, that’s real. #CowboyShit was him taking his shot on day one. It was him winning the tag team titles with Kenny Omega and defending them every chance they got. It was learning to let the past live in the past and accept new friends into his life. It was also taking Hangman’s chance and putting it on the line, sticking his neck out for those friends. And #CowboyShit was having the balls to turn around and go home for the birth of a beautiful baby boy.

Fans chant for Hangman more, and he says, “So last week, I finally picked up the phone, I put my body on the line, I climbed the ladder to grab the chip, to grab the shot at the one thing that’s eluded me this whole time.” To Hangman, that’s the thing. “When you fall off, you get back up on the horse, you keep on riding, you keep blazing on ahead, because to me, that’s COWBOY SHIT!” Now, Hangman isn’t a fortuneteller, he won’t predict how Full Gear will go. But despite that, Hangman feels like the fans still believe in him. Fans cheer because they do! And for the first time in Hangman’s life, so does he! Fans cheer that sentiment greatly!

So the promise Hangman makes is that he will give us everything! He will give us his heart, his soul, every fiber of his being, his blood, sweat and one way or another, even his tears. The one thing that he is 100% sure about, is that we will get #CowboyShit!! Will Hangman shoot his shot and finally hit the target to take the world title home?

Bryan Danielson VS Bobby Fish!

The American Dragon already went through hell facing Minoru Suzuki just last night, but he still came out on top. The Infamous One beat the Ace of Space in Lee Moriarty, but will Bryan go 2-0 this AEW weekend?

The bell rings and the two circle. They tie up, go around, and Fish throws a knee then a forearm, then body shots and a KICK! Bryan drops to a knee, crawls to ropes, but Fish brings him around for more knees. Fish headlocks, Bryan powers out but Fish runs him over! Fish KICKS Bryan in the back, drags him back up to snapmare and KICK again! Cover, TWO! Fish clamps on with a chinlock but Bryan slips right out to hammerlock. Bryan knees Fish in the back, drags him around and hooks up the legs, then fish hooks Fish’s face! The ref reprimands, Bryan lets go at 4, and then he STOMPS the legs down! Fish rolls to a corner, Bryan brings him up to wrench and hammerlock.

Fish backs Bryan in the corner, the ref calls for the ropebreak but Fish mule kicks. Fish backs away, but comes back to throw forearms! Bryan flounders to another corner, Fish KICKS him then stands him up. Fish throws forearms, whips corner to corner, but Bryan goes up and over and keeps moving! Bryan ducks and dodges but Fish KICKS him down! Cover, TWO! Fish drags Bryan up, throws body shots, then whips Bryan to ropes. Bryan reverses but Fish KICKS back! And boots! Fish runs in but Bryan dumps him out! Bryan builds speed and DIVES! Direct hit into railing! Fans fire up with Bryan, “SI! SI! SI!” as Bryan drags Fish up and fireman’s carries.

Fish fights out and throws forearms! Then body shots! Bryan ducks to POST Fish! Bryan goes to the apron, runs in but Fish sweeps the legs! Bryan crashes and burns as AEW goes picture in picture!

Bryan clutches a leg, Fish catches his breath. Fish gets in the ring, the ring count climbs, but Bryan is still down at 5 of 10. Bryan drags himself up slowly, the count is 7, but Bryan is in at 8! Fish KICKS Bryan’s bad leg, then drags him to center for a KNEE JAMMER! Fish punches Bryan down, gets the leg again and GROUND DRAGON SCREWS! Bryan rolls to ropes, Fish goes out to drag Bryan to the corner, and he SLAMS the leg into the post! Fish talks some smack to fans in the front row, then SLAMS Bryan’s leg off the post again! Fish goes into the ring, soaks up some heat, then talks some smack on Bryan.

Fish drags Bryan up, KNEES him hard in the corner, then puts the bad leg on the ropes. Fish throws body shots, then forearms, but lets off as the ref counts. Fish come back to KICK the good leg, then throw more body shots and haymakers. The ref backs Fish up, Fish goes corner to corner and KNEES Bryan again! Bryan gasps and sputters while stuck in the ropes but Fish keep son him. AEW returns to single picture as Fish pulls the bad leg! The ref counts, Fish lets off at 4, and then he KICKS the bad leg! And again! Bryan throws forearms back but Fish ROCKS Bryan with forearm after forearm! Bryan is stuck, the ref backs Fish off and frees Bryan.

Fans boo, Fish soaks up the heat then KICKS Bryan’s leg out. Fish runs to SLIDING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Fish gets the bad leg and turns Bryan over for a HALF CRAB! Bryan endures, fans rally up, and Bryan crawls for ropes! Bryan rolls, trips Fish and has the AKNLE LOCK! Fish gets the ropebreak but Bryan drags him away to lean on the hold! Fish fights up, Bryan reels him in, trapped leg GERMAN SUPLEX! Both men are down and fans rally up! A standing count begins, Bryan is up first and he brings Fish around to EuroUpper! And KICK! And EuroUpper! And KICK! ROLLINH- NO, Fish spins Bryan for a strike fest! But Bryan blocks a kick to DRAGON SCREW!

Fish hobbles up, Bryan picks the leg again to DRAGON SCREW! Bryan drags Fish to a corner to give back the POST SLAM! Fans want more so Bryan SLAMS Fish’s leg into post again! Bryan throws forearms then sits Fish up so he can SLAM the leg again! Bryan pushes Fish into the ring, slides in and watches Fish hobble. Bryan CHOP BLOCKS the leg, then fans fire up as he KICKS, but Fish blocks! Leg capture SAIDO! Cover, TWO!! Bryan survives and gets to a corner. Fish storms over to drag Bryan up and throw more forearms and body shots. Fish hoists Bryan up top, climbs up as fans rally, and he throws more forearms.

Fans rally and duel, “Let’s Go, Bobby!” “Bobby Sucks!” Fish stands Bryan up, for a SUPER FALCON ARROW!! Cover, TWO!! But into a KNEEBAR!! Bryan endures as Fish also has the heel hook! Bryan turns over, breaks the leg guard to get a HEEL HOOK of his own! Fish endures, kicks at Bryan but Bryan kicks back! Dueling kneebars and dueling stomps, fans are fired up! Bryan gets the edge and kicks away! Fish gets one more kick in but Bryan drags Fish around for a TWISTING Heel Hook! Fish taps, Bryan wins!

Winner: Bryan Danielson, by submission

The American Dragon stands tall two nights in a row! And he has even more to celebrate as…

Eight men have been selected and this tournament starts next Friday with Rampage! We will see: Jon Moxley VS The Dark Order’s Preston Vance! Orange Cassidy VS “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs! Lance Archer VS Eddie Kingston! And Dustin Rhodes VS Bryan Danielson!! The American Dragon has his path to the title, can he make it through The Natural and all the other heavy hitters to go for the gold?

My Thoughts:

An awesome episode for Dynamite, a great start to their third year. Malakai VS Dante was a great opener, and I like that Malakai showed respect to Dante there. That with Lio being a bit domineering and making himself Dante’s tag partner, I feel like this is how they shift things from Dante being Lio’s protégé to being Malakai’s. And despite Malakai saying he was done with the American Nightmare, we’re still getting their tiebreaker third match. I still feel like this is all too soon for Cody and Arn. I like that Arn is trying to bring out the toughness and aggression within Cody, but again there is a bit of a rush in Cody’s story pacing that isn’t needed.

The Inner Circle has a fairly good promo segment with American Top Team and Men of the Year, but just a 10 Man Tag seems too easy. I’m thinking Lambert comes back next week with the “demands,” which will be the stipulation that brings things up a notch. There was good overlapping of things with The Elite and their enemies, going after Jurassic Express before that awesome trios match with The Dark Order. Naturally, the Super Kliq wins, they’re going to be racking up wins. I bet they could even lead the way into a trios division at this point.

FTR being the “luchadores” Andrade enlisted is a bit disappointing, but I’m sure there were reasons actual AAA wrestlers couldn’t show up to take those titles off The Lucha Brothers. Maybe there will be a match for both sets of belts at Full Gear. MJF of course pretended he had no idea about last week’s attack on Darby, but if he keeps treating Wardlow like this, that guy is totally leaving the Pinnacle. But at the same time, we might get MJF & Wardlow VS Sting & Darby before this is all said and done. Miro delivers a good promo where his faith is basically shaken and now he’s angry. I’m a little surprised he wasn’t in the World Title Eliminator but I suppose he can do more if he’s battling anyone and everyone he can on Dynamite and Rampage.

Shida and Deeb have a good brawl, as do Britt and Jay. We’re getting Britt and Jay for Rampage next week but I bet we see Shida and Deeb some time before the TBS Championship Tournament to see if that 50th win happens. Ford VS Kiera was good but it felt a bit awkward at times. This was probably the first time these two really interacted in the ring, maybe next time will be smoother. Ruby gets a bit of payback on Ford but again, the TBS Championship Tournament is where things get settled for those two, as well. We then get a great promo from Hangman to really hype up his match with Omega, I am hoping we get a response from Omega next week.

Bryan VS Fish was a great main event, though a bit shorter than expected. Naturally, Bryan wins so that he can go strong into the World Title Eliminator Tournament. All of those matches are great, and it is a great opportunity for Preston Vance. Moxley will surely win that, though, and he’ll likely face Orange Cassidy. Cassidy clearly wasn’t happy seeing Moxley squash Yuta like that, and I would think he gets past Will Hobbs. That makes for an awesome semifinal, and we’ll surely see Bryan in the final four, too.

My Score: 9.2/10

QTV gets Dark!

QTV is in Universal Studios!

After helping Will Hobbs hold onto the AEW TNT Championship, QT Marshall & Aaron Solo get back in action! Will this be one for the headlines?

OFFICIAL RESULTS

  • AR Fox VS Nick Comoroto; Fox wins.
  • Queen Aminata VS Skye Blue; Skye wins.
  • Evil Uno VS Alexander Moss; Uno wins.
  • Marina Shafir VS Steph De Lander; Shafir wins.
  • Zack Clayton VS Schaff; Clayton wins.
  • Top Flight VS Liam Gray & Adrian Alanis; Top Flight wins.
  • QT Marshall & Aaron Solo w/ Harley Cameron VS Austin Green & Vary Morales; QT & Solo win.
  • Brady Booker VS Serpentico; Brady wins.
  • Konosuke Takeshita VS Cole Karter; Konosuke wins.

QUICK NOTES

A good line-up here. Just as I was wondering where Nick Comoroto was, he’s here on Dark to put AR Fox over. For those unfamiliar, Steph De Lander is formerly Persia Pirotta of NXT, though she has a very different look now, I almost didn’t recognize her. Brady Booker, formerly Bodhi Hayward, is back in action, good to see him. And while most of these matches seem pretty straight forward, I feel like Queen Aminata VS Skye Blue is the one that could go either way. Skye’s been building herself up in AEW and ROH but Aminata is impressive in her own right.
