Chris Jericho heads to the ring!
Le Champion, The Wizard, is here to confront his young protégé, Daniel Garcia, about whether or not Garcia is a sports entertainer, or a pro-wrestler. Fans sing Judas for him, and then Jericho gets the mic. “You sound loud tonight, Cleveland!” Fans cheer that! “Welcome to Dynamite. And last week, there was a little bit of an issue between myself and one of my favorite members of the Jericho Appreciation Society. And we agreed to come out here tonight to discuss those issues and work them out, face to face.” So Jericho introduces one of his favorite people, a future world champion, his protégé, Daniel Garcia!
Fans cheer as the Dragonslayer makes his way out, a mic already in hand, and a worried look on his face. Garcia joins Jericho in the ring and fans chant, “You’re a Wrestler!” Jericho is annoyed by that, “I’m trying to be civil about this. Please shut up!” Fans boo but Jericho tells Garcia not to listen tot he fans. they don’t understand the connection Jericho and Garcia have. Garcia had a classic match with Bryan Danielson, and he slayed the dragon. But at the end of the match, emotions were running high, and Garcia put his hands on Jericho. Garcia spun Jericho around, slapped his hand away, but Garcia had just gone through hell and was disappointed from losing.
Jericho wants Garcia to apologize. Fans boo that and chant “NO! NO! NO!” Jericho says Garcia can just apologize. Garcia says, “You knew how special that moment was to me. You knew how special it was for me to share the ring with my hero, Bryan Danielson. Thirty minutes with my hero. People are calling it the greatest match in Dynamite history and it’s not even close. Rave reviews everywhere. I hung with my hero! The people who call him the best wrestler in the world, I hung with him for thirty minutes.” Fans cheer that. “That match that I had last week, it’s the kind of match that I always dreamt having as a kid.”
When Garcia was living at home in Buffalo, he dreamt of having that kind of match and he got to have it last week! Garcia can only hope there was someone watching at home, whether it’s his little nephew, his cousin, or any random kid anywhere in the country that wants to have that match to. Garcia wants them to feel the way he felt. “And when Bryan stuck his hand out to me, while I’m knocked out in the middle of that ring, and asked me for a sign of respect, I didn’t care if people called me a wrestler, I didn’t care if people called me a sports entertainer. All I cared about was that moment! And you ruined it! You ruined that moment for me, Chris!”
Jericho takes a moment, then says, “I’m sorry that you feel that way. But I wanna remind you of this: there will be many more moments like that for you, Danny. Because you are the Greatest Technical Sports Entertainer in the World Today! It’s true!” Deep down, Garcia knows he’s a Sports Entertainer, but Jericho wants to hear him say it. Fans chant, “You’re a Wrestler!” but Jericho insists he’s a Sports Entertainer! Now say it! But before Garcia can respond, here comes BRYAN! The American Dragon makes his way to the ring while fans chant, “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan says, “Daniel, I see that your mentor here is trying to bully you into saying you’re a Sports Entertainer.”
Bryan wants Daniel to listen. He can be whatever he wants to be and Bryan respects them wrestling last week. And in Bryan’s opinion, he does agree with the fans that Garcia is a wrestler. Fans cheer for that but Jericho says, “You’re really gonna do this to me? You’re a Sports Entertainer! And I wanna hear you say it! Right now! Look at me! SAY IT! TELL ME YOU’RE A SPORTS ENTERTAINER!” Garcia tells Jericho to stop! Garcia has a mentor here, a hero here, and he ha to make this decision in public?! He can’t! He can’t do that! Just leave him alone! But then Jericho grabs at Garcia, and Garcia shoves him down! Bryan can’t help but laugh at that.
Garcia is even more conflicted, but fans tell Jericho, “You Deserve It!” Garcia storms off and Bryan looks at Jericho as Jericho gets up and composes himself. “Y’know, Chris, I’m not the biggest fan of Sports Entertainment, but that was pretty entertaining.” Jericho tells Bryan that what pisses him off is that people keep saying Bryans’ the best wrestler in the world today. Why is it, when Jericho’s been around 15 years and hasn’t seen it once? Jericho is the greatest pro-wrestler ever. And from longevity and reinvention to altering the course of wrestling history, he might well be! But when it comes to wrestling, Jericho is the last survivor of Stu Hart’s Dungeon!
Jericho remembers ever hold Stu ever taught him, he is LIONHEART Chris Jericho, and he knows more about pro-wrestling than Bryan ever will! Fans do cheer that. But Bryan wonders if that’s true. Let’s say we could ask Jericho’s mentor, Stu Hart, who is the better wrestler, Lionheart or American Dragon, who do you think he’d say? FTR stood by Wardlow, because Pinnacle is forever! But will Dax the Ax cut down the longest reigning ROH World Champion ever? Or will he get a lethal dose of payback for standing by the Maestro of Mayhem?
Well, surprise, surprise. Seeing that Cash Wheeler returned to the back, Lethal has Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh return backstage, too. Who wins now that this will truly be 1v1?
The bell rings and the two circle. Fans rally up behind Dax, he and Jay tie up, and Lethal arm-drags Dax away. Dax gets up and circles with Lethal again, then tie up. Dax headlocks, Lethal powers out but Dax runs him over. Things keep moving, Dax slides under but Lethal runs, into a hip toss! Lethal kangaroo kicks, arm-drags again, but Dax headscissors! Lethal kips free, Dax headlocks for a takeover, but Lethal headscissors. Dax kips free, the two stand off and fans cheer! Lethal and Dax reset, circle, and fans rally up with “WOO~!” and chants of “F T R! F T R!” Lethal and Dax tie up, Lethal wrenches to a wristlock, but Dax rolls and wrenches back.
Dax slips through, headlocks, but Lethal powers out. Lethal hip tosses, handsprings and dropkicks Dax! Fans are torn but Lethal drags Dax up to bump him off buckles. Lethal throws hands, but Dax CHOPS! Dax stalks Lethal to a corner but Lethal kicks back. Lethal CHOPS Dax, but Dax CHOPS back! Lethal rakes Dax’s eyes! Dax pokes Letha’ in the eye! Lethal reverses, Dax whips Lethal away on the return. Then CHOPS him again! Lethal is stinging but fans are fired up! Fans want that, “One More Time! One More Time!” so Dax CHOPS again! Dax climbs up to rain down fists! Lethal slips out, CLUBS Dax, then goes up, SUPER RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Both men are down while AEW goes picture in picture.
Lethal clutches his stinging chest but he gets back to his feet. Lethal stands Dax up for a BIG back suplex! Cover, ONE, but Lethal stalks Dax to a corner, Dax kicks but Lethal blocks to throw body shots, and a CHOP! Dax staggers away, but he CHOPS right back! Dax whips Lethal to a corner, Lethal reverses and Dax hits buckles hard! Lethal drops an elbow, covers, TWO! Lethal is annoyed but the ref defends his count. Lethal drags Dax up, scoops him, and hits a BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Lethal rains down fists, clamps on a chinlock, and he grinds Dax down. Dax fights up, throws body shots and powers out, then gets Lethal with a SLEEPER!
But Lethal JAWBREAKERS right out! Both men are down while Lethal gasps for air. Lethal stands up, storms over to Dax and brings him up. Dax RAMS Lethal into a corner, digs his shoulder in, then EuroUppers! Dax EuroUppers again, CHOPS Lethal, then hoists him up top. Dax climbs up after Lethal, Lethal throws body shots and then shoves Dax down! Lethal adjusts, takes a moment to catch his breath, and Dynamite returns to single picture as he stands. MACHO- NO, Dax trips him up! Dax CHOPS Lethal, climbs up after him, but Lethal fights off the suplex! Lethal throws body shots then SUPER GOURD BUSTERS Dax down!
Dax staggers up, Lethal stands and leaps, but into a body shot! Dax then reels Lethal in, GERMAN SUPLEX! Dax holds on, Lethal throws elbows, but Dax GERMAN SUPLEXES again! Lethal still throws elbows and then he drops, but Dax turns the victory roll into a GERMAN SUPLEX! Fans fire up while both men are down again! The ref starts a standing count as both men stir. Lethal and Dax stand, Dax JABS and JABS, but Lethal kicks low! Lethal JABS, JABS and JABS! Dax ducks the haymaker to ROCK Lethal! Lethal holds on and Dax stands up. Dax swings, into the LETHAL COMBINATION! Cover, TWO! The backbreaker to complete shot was not enough to stop Dax! Dax gets to the apron, Lethal storms over but Dax CHOPS and CHOPS! Lethal ROCKS, CHOPS, but Dax CHOPS and shoulders in! Dax steps in but Lethal KICKs the leg! DRAPING DRAGON SCREW! Dax falls to the floor,. Lethal builds speed and DIVES! Direct hit into railing! Fans fire up while Lethal drags Dax up and in. Lethal steps through but Dax resists. Lethal lets off at 4, but he comes right back to try again. Dax boots Lethal away, then trips Lethal up to step through! Lethal fights the Sharpshooter and rolls Dax to step through again! But Dax makes it a cradle, TWO!! Dax hurries up, but Lethal mule kicks the legs out! Lethal runs and handsprings, but Dax catches Lethal to spin him around! So here’s a scoop for everyone: All Out will see Jay Lethal teaming with two close personal friends… MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS!! Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley, big names in Impact Wrestling and ROH, are coming to AEW! Will Lethal’s trio be even more lethal now? Or will The Pinnacle find a way to stay on top?
Backstage interview with Thunder Rosa.
Tony Schiavone is with the AEW Women’s World Champion, who already looks emotional. She is truly heartbroken, and feels she is letting the fans down. But she has to step down as champion, as she is unable to defend the title due to injury. So at All Out on September 4th, there will be an Interim AEW Women’s World Championship match. Toni Storm, Rosa’s friend and tag partner, Rosa hopes Toni’s dreams come true as she becomes the new interim champion.
But Rosa will remind everyone now, that this won’t stop her. This will only make her better. She will come back better and stronger, and with a bigger chip on her shoulder. Then who will face Toni at All Out to crown an Interim Women’s World Champion? It will be a FATAL 4 WAY, with the top contenders fighting it out! Daddy Ass just wanted his sons to be as good as his boys, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens. How they were to do that, no one really knows. But now, after the betrayal by his flesh ‘n’ blood, Daddy Ass is gonna have to whoop some Ass… Boys! Will Billy do more than ground Colten tonight? Or will the youthful rebellion only grow stronger?
But speaking of The Acclaimed, Caster of course has a rap on deck! “The Gunn Club just turned into a stupid problem. Yo, Billy, I’m thinking you shoulda used a condom! Y’all about to get a savage beatin’! So bad, they gon’ call another talent meetin’! You little jerks get no respect. We wipe you out like Biden did student debt! Your whole life is a bad choice. Y’all’re not tough guys, y’all’re just Ass Boys!” Bowens of course adds, “CA-LEVELAAAND! The Acclaimed have arrived! Scissor me, Daddy Ass~!” But speaking of debt, will Billy make Colten pay for his betrayal?

Colten taunts Billy, but then cowers in the corner. The ref has Billy back off and Colten comes back. Fans rally up, the two tie up, and Colten arm-drags Billy away! Colten lounges on the corner, fans chant “Who’s Your Daddy?” Billy says he is! Billy and Colten circle, tie up, Colten headlocks, but Billy powers out. Things speed up, Colten whips Billy but gets run over! Fans fire up and Colten bails out! Now Billy lounges on the corner while AEW goes picture in picture.
Austin and Colten regroup, talk things over, and Colten paces around the outside. Austin talks trash on Billy, Colten slides in, and then Colten talks trash., Billy grabs Colten by his neck and puts him in a corner! Colten kicks, whips but Billy reverses. Colten goes up but Billy stays clear, to then CLOBBER him! Colten bails back out and Billy tells his sons to “SUCK IT!” Austin is furious but then Billy storms out and scares him off. Billy goes back for Colten, brings him around, and CLUBS him down! Even The Acclaimed are stinging from that one! Billy refreshes the ring count, stalks Colten around the way, and then brings him up by an ear!
Billy has The Acclaimed move aside and the fans prepare themselves. Billy TOSSES Colten into railing! Colten flops over and Billy scissor fingers some fans. Billy stalks Colten to the ramp, gets in his way, and brings him around to TOSS into more railing! Colten writhes, Billy scissor fingers more fans, then he drags Colten up. Dynamite returns to single picture and Billy puts Colten in the ring. Austin swipes at Billy and fans boo, but Colten DECKS Billy! Billy goes to a corner, Austin shouts at Colten to strike, and Colten stomps away on Billy! The ref backs Colten off and Billy drags himself up the ropes. Colten runs in, but Billy dodges the splash!
Billy CLOBBERS Colten again! And again! Fans fire up and Billy has Colten in a corner. Billy throws BIG haymakers over and over, then stomps away on Colten! Austin shouts at his dad to stop, and the ref has Billy back off. The ref even tells Billy he has to remember, that’s his son! Billy feels conflicted, and he helps Colten stand up. But then Stokely CLOBBERS Caster with the boombox! And Austin RAMS Bowens into steel steps! The ref is distracted by that, and Colten LOW BLOWS Billy!! Colten gets Billy up for COLT 45!! Cover, Colten wins!!

How could Colten do that to his own father?! But Stokely joins the Gunn Sons in the ring and offers them his card. And this time, they accept it! And then Austin & Colten both stomp away on Billy! The Acclaimed get in the ring, but Austin & Colten clobber them, too! But then “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” The AEW World Tag Team Champions run the Ass Boys off! Fans are fired up for Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee, but what about The Acclaimed and Billy? Keith helps Billy to his feet, and there seems to be a brief moment of respect. But will all this drama over family and success go all out?
Backstage interview with Death Triangle and the United Empire.
Tony Schiavone says the main event is a match that’s been years in the making. The world has waited for this one. It will be The Death Triangle, PAC & The Lucha Brothers, are taking on The United Empire’s Aussie Open & Will Ospreay, in the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament! Ospreay says, “Oh, Pac, long time no see, brother. Last time we was in the ring together, it was a thirty minute time limit draw. I’m glad you got your friends with ya, cuz I’ve got mine. And we’ve got one mission, brother: ding, ding, ding! More gold for the United Empire.”
Pac tells Will, “What you need to understand is that we have been waiting far too long for this opportunity. So we’ve made a decision. Tonight, gentlemen, we’re not gonna kill ya. We’re gonna murder ya! Because All Elite Wrestling is Death Triangle territory, and tonight, United Empire, you find out the hard way.” Will Rey Fenix, Penta El Zero M and the All-Atlantic Champion be the ones conquering the AEW Trios Division? Or will the Commonwealth Kingpin and the NJPW Strong Tag Team Champions stake their claim for the glory of the Empire?
Britt Baker w/ Jamie Hayter & Rebel VS KiLynn King!
After the unfortunate news that La Mera Mera is down and out, this match has much higher stakes now! The Doctor is in the title picture, but could King Krazy earn herself a future opportunity tonight? Or will the Steel City’s favorite dentist be giving King a different kind of crown?
The bell rings and fans fire up. Britt talks trash then fires off forearms! King shoves Britt, Britt ducks the roundhouse but King blocks the superkick. King spins Britt to mule kick her, then runs the ropes. Britt avoids the boot, runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then SLINGBLADES King down! King gets to a corner, fans boo Britt, but some do still spell it out, “D! M! D!” Britt winks then fires off forearms on King! Britt whips King corner to corner, but King goes up to missile dropkick her down! King hurries to full nelson, but Britt breaks free and slips around. Ripcord ROLLING ELBOW! King goes back to a corner and Britt storms over to fire off forearms.
King hits back, they scrap, and Britt chokes King in the corner! The ref counts while fans chant “Pittsburgh Sucks!” Britt tells them no it doesn’t! She runs back at King, but King goes up and over to mule kick again! King fire sup for The Land, and she runs corner to corner, only for Britt to hit a BUCKLE SHOT! Britt goes out and she drags King into the corner to pull her shoulder into the post! The ref counts, Britt lets off and soaks up the heat from the Browns fans. Britt gets in the ring, drags King around and throws down elbows! Brit then ghost pins, TWO! Britt pie faces King around but King snarls.
Britt pie faces King again but King fires off forearms! Britt pushes King but King throws more forearms! Britt gives them back, then a mule kick! Britt runs, but King avoids the stomp to roll Britt! Britt rolls through, King boots a lariat away to ROUNDHOUSE and GERMAN SUPLEX! Fans fire up with King and she drags Britt back up. King full nelsons, lifts, and then flips Britt around for a SLAM! Cover, TWO!! Britt survives but King drags her back up. Fireman’s carry, but Britt fights free. Britt shoves King into a corner, then SUPERKICKS her down! And then another SUPERKICK! Britt runs to CURB STOMP!
Britt brings out her glove! Fans are torn but mostly booing. Britt clamps onto King with the RINGS OF SATURN, and then spells it out, “D! M! D!” LOCKJAW!! King taps, Britt wins!
Winner: Britt Baker, by submission
Britt gets the mic to tell Cleveland, “Isn’t it a shame about Thunder Rosa? It’s sad. But let me remind you, when the champion was Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, I wrestled my entire title reign with a broken freakin’ wrist, because that’s what a champion does!” As for the PPV, we still have half of #ThunderStorm, so luckily, Toni, she can finally be on a PPV and someone gives a damn. That’s because she’ll be in the ring with Britt. But speaking of, here she comes! Toni storms right to the ring, but Hayter runs her down and CLOBBERS her! Britt says Hayter is in that match, too! Hayter and Storm brawl, but Hayter throws Storm into the ring!
Fans boo as Hayter stomps Storm and Rebel gives Britt a Terrible Towel to wave around. But wait! Here comes the fourth woman in the Fatal 4, HIKARU SHIDA! The Full Metal Samurai has her kendo stick! She runs off Britt and her crew! Storm VS Shida VS Britt VS Hayter, who stands tall as the winds of change blow in the Windy City?
Backstage interview with The Acclaimed and Swerve In Our Glory.
Tony Schiavone is now with Caster, Bowens and the AEW World Tag Team Champions. Tony was going to talk with The Acclaimed but they’re a bit banged up right now. Swerve says yeah, they got whooped on. But it’s fine, Swerve & Keith didn’t mind coming out there to save them. Swerve In Our Glory loves The Acclaimed! Keith says to be honest, Caster & Bowens are ranked. More importantly, they’ve been ranked. So the save wasn’t just because of the love, but because they are worthy challengers for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at All Out.
Caster says, “Yo, listen. It’s nice you think we’re worthy, it’s nice that you saved us, but we don’t need your praise, we don’t need your help. Because we are the best homegrown tag team in AEW, and we are the winningest tag team, so I think we proved it.” Bowens says yes, AND The Acclaimed are the uncrowned champions of AEW! But now, they’ll take those tag titles home because like you said, EVERYONE loves The Acclaimed! Then is this match on for All Out? Will The Acclaimed have no choice but to #BaskInTheirGlory?
Undisputed AEW World Championship: CM Punk VS Jon Moxley!
This was meant to be the main event of All Out, but because tensions ran high to the point of exploding into fist fights, The Best in the World and the Blue Eyed Battler are battling it out in Cleveland! Will CM Punk prove he’s truly the best in the world today? Or will Moxley prove that “interim” was a meaningless asterisk and that he has been THE champion all along?
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and in the end, only one man will hold THE belt of AEW!
Fans are thunderous already as the bell rings. Punk and Mox stare down, fans duel, and then Moxley and Punk circle. They tie up, are in a deadlock, but Moxley powers Punk back step by step. Punk pushes back, puts Mox in a corner, but Moxley turns it around. The ref counts, Mox lets off to then ROCK Punk! Mox fires off forearms and the fans are thunderous! The ref backs Moxley off and Moxley eggs Punk on! Punk gets up, and he SLAPS Moxley! Punk fires forearms in return, he backs Moxley down to the other corner, then he rains down haymakers! The ref counts, Punk throws knees, so the ref has to back Punk off.

Well damn! Moxley may have gotten lucky over Punk hurting his own foot, or maybe Punk got cocky thinking he could come back so soon, but either way, we just got the fastest AEW World Championship match ever! Moxley carries around both belts, one of them heading home while the other will be around his waist. Will Moxley turn right around from this and defend the belt at All Out? As for Punk, will he even be able to return after what just happened to him?
Backstage interview with Christian Cage.
Tony Schiavone reminds us of what Jungle Boy did to Captain Charisma just last week, and we can tell from the brace on Christian’s arm that it was serious damage. The challenge was made for All Out, and Christian Cage says he extended an olive branch to JB. Christian was giving JB one last opportunity to apologize to him for costing them the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Christian was giving JB one last opportunity to apologize for the personal and hurtful things JB said about Christian. Yes, Christian acknowledges he said awful things to JB, but the difference is, Christian wasn’t coming from a place of malice. That was tough love!
Christian says he was motivating JB in order to bring out the best version of him! But JB isn’t smart enough to see that because he thinks he’s better than he is, and thinks he’s smarter than he is. JB is not and never will be as smart as Christian Cage, you understand? JB has the audacity to challenge a living legend in this business to a match at All Out?! To make it even better, JB tries to maim and injure Christian! But that’s fine. Jack can’t throw anything at Christian that Christian hasn’t already seen. Christian’s seen it all! He’s done it all!
So in Chicago at All Out, JB finds out Christian is not average. If you wanna see average, you take that camera and scan the crowd of Cleveland! But Christian is an anomaly, he is special! From dealing with Team Taz being over, losing the FTW title, dealing with QT and the Factory, and of course, I’ve got to deal with Powerhouse Hobbs turning his back on me! I got veterans back there telling me, ‘Hey, man, this is show business, it ain’t friends business, Ricky.’ And I understand what you’re saying, but I thought that I was the exception!
“I thought I was the exception because hey, I had a friend in Hobbs, a partner in crime. I had that guy who I trusted. Last year when I broke my neck, this guy called me every single week, checked up on me, made sure that I was okay mentally and physically. A guy that wanted to see me make a big comeback here. But the thing about people wanting to see you do good, is that they never want to see you do better than them.” Fans applaud that. “And don’t forget, Hobbs! When you were standing around in Jacksonville in a bedazzled T-shirt, being Britt Baker’s security guard, you were playing background player then!

How about you bring your five dollar ass to Chicago, and fight me at All Out!?” Fans want to see that one! Will Starks give Hobbs an absolute fight in Chicago?

AEW World Trios Championship Tournament, Opening Round: Death Triangle VS The United Empire!
The Bastard is All-Atlantic Champion while Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero M are former AAA and AEW World Tag Team Champions. Aussie Open are the inaugural NJPW Strong Tag Team Champions, while their leader, the Commonwealth Kingpin, is DUAL Rev-Pro British and IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion. But we all know the world is not enough, and there is always more gold to collect! Which trio takes the first step to global domination in this inaugural AEW World Trios Championship tournament?
AEW returns as Death Triangle makes their entrance. Best Friends are watching from the crowd, knowing they’ll potentially face the winner of tonight’s match. The trios sort out, Fenix starts against Ospreay. The bell rings and Ospreay runs Fenix right over! Things speed up, Fenix hurdles but Ospreay leaps over. They keep moving, Ospreay hurdles but Fenix leaps over! Ospreay runs to RANA but Fenix handsprings through! Fenix runs to RANA, but Ospreay handsprings through! Ospreay handsprings to the ropes, but Fenix gets under his flip! Fenix handsprings now, but Ospreay handstands out of the cutter! Fenix ducks the Buzzsaw and kips up, Cleveland goes wild!
Ospreay and Fenix circle, Fenix offers a handshake but Ospreay slaps it away! Ospreay BOOTS Fenix, Penta rushes in to SUPERKICK Ospreay! Kyle Fletcher rushes in to BOOT Penta! Ospreay is stinging all over again, but Pac stands Ospreay back up to CHOP him right down! Tag to Penta, and Penta drags Ospreay up. Penta hushes the crowd, and he CHOPS Ospreay, too! Ospreay grits his teeth and clutches his chest while fans chant, “CERO! MIEDO!” Penta wrenches Ospreay’s arm, tags Fenix, and Fenix springboards to drop AX HANDLES on the arm. Fenix SLAPS Ospreay, snapmares him and basement dropkicks him in the back! Cover, ONE!! Ospreay is showing the toughness of a G1 Climax Finalist while AEW goes picture in picture.
Fenix drags Ospreay up, RAMS into him, then tags Penta back in. Penta wrenches Ospreay’s arm again, and KICKS Ospreay’s leg! Ospreay hobbles, but he JABS Penta! Penta KICKS Ospreay’s leg out from under him! Penta then drags Ospreay up, tags Fenix back in, and Fenix KICKS the leg. Fenix dropkicks Ospreay down, then rallies the fans. Fenix drags Ospreay up, CLUBS him, snapmares him, and clamps onto both arms. Fenix traps one and pulls on the other, but Ospreay endures. Fenix adds a chinbar but then shifts to a ghost pin, TWO! Fenix CLUBS Ospreay but Ospreay RAMS Fenix into a corner.
Ospreay CHOPS Fenix, and CHOPS him again, giving Fenix payback for earlier. Fenix dodges the third chop to CHOP Ospreay off his feet! Fenix drags Ospreay up again to snapmare and clamp back onto the arm. Fenix almost has a Fujiwara Armbar but Ospreay resists and endures. Ospreay crawls but Fenix pulls back on the arm, to then grab at the other! Fenix pulls the arm back but Ospreay resists, so Fenix powers him to another ghost pin! TWO, and Fenix SUPERKICKS Ospreay! Ospreay slumps through the ropes, and Fletcher hurries over to make sure Pac doesn’t do anything. Pac stays back and Fletcher coaches Ospreay on.
Fenix rallies the fans again while Ospreay sits back up. Fenix storms up on Ospreay but Ospreay resists the whip by holding ropes. Fenix ROCKS Ospreay, whips but Ospreay still holds on! Dynamite returns to single picture and Fenix ROCKS Ospreay again. Fenix CHOPS, then whips, but Ospreay reverses! Davis trips Fenix and Ospreay BLASTS the Death Triangle corner! Davis then drapes Fenix out for Fletcher’s DOUBLE STOMPS! The United Empire turns the tide and Ospreay goes up top! SUPER SKY TWISTER to take out Penta & Pac! The fans fire up as Ospreay gets in the ring. Aussie Open is there to help Ospreay with a RAILGUN DROPKICK into Fenix! Cover, TWO!!
Fenix survives but Ospreay drags Fenix up. Fans chant “This is Awesome!” as Ospreay brings Fenix to the Empire’s corner. Ospreay tags in Fletcher, and Fletcher tags in Davis. Aussie Open drags Fenix up to double whip him to ropes. They double CHOP Fenix down, then Fletcher PENALTY KICKS and Davis SENTONS! Davis has a cocky cover, TWO! Davis kicks at Fenix, rains down forearms, then lets off to taunt Pac. Davis drags Fenix up, scoops him and SLAMS him, but fans rally for Fenix. Davis tags Fletcher, Fletcher mocks the fans and taunts Pac. Fenix pushes Fletcher but Fletcher pie faces him.
Fenix throws body shots but Fletcher doesn’t flinch. Fletcher eggs Fenix on, pie faces him more, but Fenix shoves him. Fletcher scoop SLAMS Fenix, then scowls. Fletcher drags Fenix up and tags in Davis. They keep Fenix from Death Triangle, wrench both arms, then pinball Fenix between forearms! Fenix ducks the double shot and Aussie Open clash elbows! Aussie Open hurries to try again, but Fenix ducks again! And this time is even harder! Fenix CHOPS Fletcher, CHOPS Davis, repeat! Fenix knuckle locks with both of them, kicks Fletcher then kicks Davis, then goes up and up and DOUBLE FLYING ARM-DRAGS!

The ref reprimands, Davis lets off, and then he drags Penta over to the Empire’s corner. Davis tags Ospreay in, Ospreay BOOTS Penta, then BOOTS him again! Ospreay reels Penta in for an ELBOW and Penta goes down! Ospreay stands on Penta’s head, the ref counts, and Ospreay lets off to soak up the heat.
Ospreay sits Penta up to go after the mask! The ref reprimands but Ospreay almost has the mask off! The ref counts, Ospreay lets off and argues with him. Ospreay drags Penta back up, bumps him off buckles, then soaks up more heat. Ospreay stands Penta up to DECK him! Ospreay drags Penta up, kicks low, and suplexes. Ospreay holds Penta up for a few seconds before the SLAM! Cover, TWO! Penta sits up and eggs Ospreay on! Fans rally, Ospreay stands Penta up and they go forehead to forehead. Pac stalks Ospreay, waistlocks and deadlifts Ospreay! Ospreay flails, gets the ropes, but Fenix tightrope walks to PENALTY KICK him! Pac finishes the GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!! Ospreay survives and Pac is annoyed. Pac lines up a shot from the far side, but Aussie Open drags him out! So the Lucha Brothers do the same to Ospreay! Aussie Open and the Lucha Brothers get in the ring and they brawl! Fans are thunderous but the ref reprimands. Aussie Open get the edge, and they suplex in stereo, only for both brothers to slip out! The Lucha Brothers shove Aussie Open at each other, then DOUBLE SUPERKICK!
The Lucha Brothers shout, “CERO! MIEDO!” But Aussie Open DOUBLE BOOT in return! Aussie Open shouts for the Empire, but Pac and Ospreay slip in to STEREO DOUBLE POISON RANA!! Fans are losing their minds as Kingpin and Bastard stare down! Ospreay and Pac soak it all up, and they get forehead to forehead! The forearms start flying as fans praise “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Ospreay gets the edge, but Pac SOBATS! And front kicks! And SOBATS again! Pac runs, into the Tiger Wall Kick and ENZIGURI! Ospreay runs, but into another SNAP GERMAN! But he’s right on his feet! Springboard, OSCUTTER!! But all six men are down as fans are electric!
A standing count starts and Ospreay stirs at 4 of 10. Pac stirs at 6, both men slowly sit up and Ospreay drags Pac up at 8. Ospreay wrenches an arm, and CHOPS Pac off his feet! Ospreay staggers around, drags Pac back up, and he bumps Pac off buckles. Ospreay hoists Pac up top, climbs up after him, but Pac slips out and crotches Ospreay on the ropes! Ospreay manages to get around, but Pac climbs up after him now! Pac brings Ospreay up, for a SUPER BRAINBUSTER!!! But Pac can’t make the cover! Fenix drags Fletcher up but Fletcher whips Fenix into railing! Cleveland is still loving this as AEW goes picture in picture one more time!
Penta rushes in to SUPERKICK Fletcher down! Davis BOOTS Penta! Fenix BOOTS Davis! All four of them are down on the outside while Ospreay crawls to a corner. Fenix roars as he gets back up, but Davis runs in to CLOBBER Pac! Davis rains down forearms, but Fenix gets in to protest. The ref reprimands Fenix and reprimands Davis and they both bail out. Ospreay stands up, he wobbles over to Pac and brings him up to HEADBUTT him back down! Pac flounders against ropes as fans rally, and Ospreay brings him up to scoop for the SPIN-OUT BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Ospreay roars in frustration, but then Aussie Open attacks Death Triangle’s corner!
Davis sends Penta into railing while Fletcher suplexes Fenix for a BRAINBUSTER to the floor! Ospreay puts Pac up top again, ROCKS him, then climbs up after him. Pac throws body shots and forearms, but Ospreay eggs him on! Pac fires off more forearms, but Ospreay fires off more HEADBUTTS! Ospreay stands on the very top, but Pac shoves him down!! Ospreay crashes into the drop zone and Pac adjusts! Pac stands, but Ospreay trips him up! A receipt for earlier! Ospreay climbs up and cravats Pac! Pac resists but Ospreay drags him onto his shoulder! Ospreay stands but Pac fights off whatever this is! Fenix runs in to go up and JUMP SOBAT Ospreay!
Ospreay wobbles, Fenix climbs up after him, but Ospreay fights him off! Fenix gets crotched as Dynamite returns to single picture one more time! Fenix GAMANGIRIS Ospreay! Fenix climbs up again, Ospreay throws body shots, but Fenix still SUPER STEINERS! OSPREAY LANDS ON HIS FEET!! Fans lose their minds all over again, but Fenix somersault CUTTERS! Penta gets in, builds speed, and he FLIES onto Davis! Fenix goes up to TORNILLO onto Fletcher! Pac stands up, he has Ospreay in the drop zone! BLACK ARROW!!! But onto Ospreay’s knees!!! Tag to Fenix, he springboards but Davis CLOBBERS him outta the sky!! Penta SUPERKICKS Davis, Fletcher SUPERKICKS Penta! Penta comes back, uses Davis as a step, DESTROYER for Fletcher!! Ospreay staggers up, looks for Pac and finds him in a corner. Fans are electric all over again, and Pac elbows Ospreay away! Pac goes up, for a QUEBRADA TORNADO DDT!! Ospreay is down again, Pac goes up top again, and fans are fired up! But Fletcher drags Ospreay out of the drop zone! Pac is pissed, but he just adjusts where he is on the corner, to be on the post itself! SUPER ARIHARA MOONSAULT!!
Fans are thunderous as Pac takes out Ospreay and Fletcher, but then Pac is spooked by the box headed Kip Sabian! Pac tells Kip to stop stalking him already. Pac snatches the box away, and it’s NOT Kip!? It’s some young guy with a big black eye and duct tape on his mouth, who wants Pac to show mercy! But then WHAM! The REAL Kip Sabian attacks Pac from behind! Kip drapes Pac on the railing, MAGIC SCREW!! Mr. Superbad is back, and he just screwed The Bastard over! And the ref missed all of it while tending to Fenix! Davis rushes in to CLOBBER Fenix! Then Davis keeps moving to clothesline in the corner, and then LARIAT Fenix inside-out!
Fletcher returns to SHOTGUN Penta! Ospreay gets in and the Empire is all fired up! Ospreay turns Fenix, Aussie Open double wrench the arms, and this time, TRIPLE FOREARMS!! Aussie Open drags Fenix back up, hold him up with the double pump handles, and Ospreay springboards! OS-COREALIS!!! Cover, the Empire wins!!

What a shocker! Just as Death Triangle had this one, Ospreay & Aussie Open turn it all around! Maybe it’s a bracket buster for some, but the Kingpin and his soldiers stand tall!
WAIT! Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks are here!! Fans go wild for THE ELITE! Omega & The Bucks are set to take on the United Empire next week, but Ospreay is daring Omega to get in the ring NOW! Fletcher & Davis stand down, but the Bucks still aren’t sure. Omega says it’ll be fine and starts heading down the ramp, only for Don Callis to stop him! Callis desperately wants Omega to wait, for both his health’s sake and for the big money showdown. Who wins this amazing dream match that’s going down in the Trios Tournament?
My Thoughts:
A great episode of Dynamite here tonight, and definitely a wild one. First, not having the world title match be the main event foreshadowed shenanigans, but I could not have guessed it would go that way. I suppose it’s clever that they used Punk’s bad foot that way, but wow, I did not expect it to become a squash! Moxley had a great promo after, but then, are we setting up a PPV match in just the go-home episode next week? That’s a bit wild. Then in a more unfortunate twist, the current injury curse strikes again as Thunder Rosa is hurt. But we’re getting quite the interim championship match. Britt has a great match with KiLynn, and of course we have a brief brawl of the four contenders.
Because this is an interim championship match, it could go any which way, but I feel like Hayter’s there to take the pin. It’d be great if Toni Storm took the win here, but there’s a chance Britt wins this and then Toni chases her going into Full Gear. Rampage has a lot of stuff this week, and I would think Jade Cargill’s going to talk trash on Athena to set up their title match. Wardlow VS Nemeth for the TNT Championship will surely go Wardlow’s way, but there will be shenanigans after to add to the coming trios match. Dax VS Lethal was an awesome match, and Sonjay of course introduces the swerve. Lethal & Motor City Machine Guns VS The Pinnacle is going to be awesome, and I bet this sets up FTR VS MCMG for the ROH World Tag Team Championships.
We got an awesome promo from Starks to hype up his match with Hobbs, he showed great emotion. That one could be a show stealer. We also got a very good promo from Christian Cage to make his match with Jungle Boy official. We got a very good match out of Billy VS Colten, especially with the overbooking of Stokely and Austin attacking The Acclaimed. Of course the Sons of a Gunn join Stokely’s stable, I feel like All Out will be where that faction officially debuts. They might even attack during Swerve In Our Glory VS The Acclaimed for the tag titles. Good promo from those teams, that match is going to be great stuff, but one way or another, I don’t see Keith & Swerve losing just yet.
Great opening promo segment with Jericho, Garcia and Bryan. Garcia is doing great in showing emotional conflict, and of course we’re getting Jericho VS Bryan at All Out now. Garcia might get involved in that, and that will be where he shows his true colors. Personally, hoping he swerves Jericho and joins BCC but I have a bad feeling he’ll swerve Bryan and stay JAS. And we got a great promo from Pac and Ospreay to hype up that amazing main event! As I’ve said this whole time, I thought we were getting Death Triangle VS La Faccion Ingobernable to then lead us to Death Triangle VS Best Friends, but hell, The Elite VS The United Empire is too good to pass up. I’m pretty sure The Elite wins, and they have a very good chance of being the inaugural Trios Champions.

The bell rings and the fans rally up already. The two talk trash, then they run up to fire hands! Marina whips Windsor to the corner, but Windsor BOOTS her back! Windsor runs up and LARIATS Marina down! The fans fire up while Marina bails out. Windsor goes to the apron, CANNONBALLS to the floor, and the fans cheer that goal! Windsor puts Marina in the ring, CLOBBERS Marina, then rains down fists! The fans rally behind Windsor and she clinches for a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP, then SLIDING- NO, Marina blocks the lariat into an ARMBAR! Windsor clasps hands, fights around, and high stacks, TWO!
Marina keeps hold of the arm, breaks the grip, but Windsor hurries to stack again! TWO and Marina lets Windsor go. The fans rally while both women are down. Windsor rises and the fans fire up again! Windsor grabs Marina’s legs, steps through, but Windsor fights the Sharpshooter to have a TRIANGLE HOLD! They roll, Marina has a cover, TWO! Marina runs up, clinches, and URENAGES! Cover, TWO! Windsor survives but Marina clamps on again with a KIMURA! The fans boo but Windsor endures. Will Davis refill the family’s treasury with this gold? Or will Dynasty be all about that Tarzan Life?
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if Jack can stay golden!
The bell rings and the fans rally up for Jack. Davis and Jack tie up, and Davis THROWS Jack to a corner! The fans rally, Jack says okay, hold on, and he resets with Davis. Jack slips around, headlocks, but Davis powers up and out to then CLOBBER Jack! Jack flounders away and asks for another breather. The fans rally as Jack comes back, dodges Davis, and KICKS, KICKS, and CHOPS! Jack shoves, Davis shoves back, but Jack flips up and over Davis to then DROPKICK him out! The fans fire up as Jack aims, PLANCHAS, but Davis catches Jack! The fans fire up as Davis pops Jack up and brings him around the way, only for Jack to POST Davis first!
The fans fire up as Jack then uses the post to swing and DROPKICK Davis again! The fans cheer as Jack shoves Davis into the ring. Jack HOTSHOTS Davis, goes up top, but Davis snatches Jack for the ROCKET LAUNCHER! Jack tumbles away but Davis digs his forearms into Jack! Davis runs to SLIDING FOREARM! Jack sputters in the corner while Davis snarls. Davis drags Jack to center, kneeling cover, TWO! Cocky as it was, it almost kept Jack down. Davis kicks Jack around, scoops and SLAMS, then he SENTONS on top! Davis pushes Jack to a cover, TWO! Davis clamps onto Jack with a chinlock, and even digs his knee in.
The fans rally as Jack endures, and Jack fights up to fire body shots. Davis KNEES low, then whips Jack to ropes. Jack ducks the boot, then JAWBREAKERS back! Davis runs up but Jack DUMPS him out! Jack then goes up, up, and ARIHARA MOONSAULTS! Down goes Davis and the fans fire up with Jack! Jack high-fives some fans, drags Davis up and brings him around. Jack shoves Davis into the ring, the fans rally up, and Jack climbs again. But Davis grabs Jack again! Davis climbs up this time, but Jack SLAPS and CHOPS Davis! Then he CLAWS Davis’s eyes before he HEADBUTTS Davis down! Then Jack DIVING-
NO, Jack has to roll through as Davis dodges! Jack ELBOWS Davis, ROLLING ELBOWS, then hits SLICED BREAD! Cover, TWO! The fans rally as Davis survives. Jack nods and he brings Davis up. The fans rally, Jack reels Davis in, but Davis is too hefty for that! Jack CLUBS away on Davis, and he still tries! Jack lifts Davis, but Davis powers up to BACKDROP Jack out! Davis runs and BLASTS Jack off apron and into railing! Jack slumps down but the fans rally again. Davis goes out to fetch Jack, brings him around, and puts him on the apron. The ring count climbs, Davis stands Jack up, and he suplexes for an APRON FALCON ARROW!!
The fans lose their minds while Jack dangles off the apron! Davis shoves Jack in the ring, covers, TWO!! The fans cheer as Jack somehow survives! Davis is furious, and he short arm LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Davis gut wrenches but Jack grabs a leg! The fans rally but Davis fires knees into Jack. Davis CHOP LARIATS Jack down! The fans boo but Davis hauls Jack back up! Gut wrench and- NO, Jack slips free! Then he tilt-o-whirls, but Davis manages to throw Jack down! COUNT TO- DDT!! Jack turns things around and the fans fire up again! The fans fire up as Maya ducks under, UP KICKS, then SOBATS and BOOTS! Lena just scowls, but Maya ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl RANA Lena to a corner! Maya UPPERCUTS, whips, but Lena reverses! Maya goes up, up, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Maya handsprings up and the fans cheer her on! Maya runs in and BACK BODY BLOCKS! Megan runs up but is sent into Lena! Maya BACK BODY BLOCKS again, then tags Hyan! Hyan tunes up, roars and runs around the world for a KNEE! Maya goes up, BLOCKBUSTER LEG SWEEP COMBO! Cover, TWO! Lena survives but Hyan coordinates with Maya.
Hyan tags Maya, they get Lena up again, and Maya runs, only for Lena to ELBOW Hyan, BOOT Maya, and HOOK KICK Hyan! Tag to Megan and she brings Maya up. Maya JAWBREAKERS, then she and Hyan double whip! Megan reverses, kicks Maya, and fireman’s carries Hyan! Maya jumps on but Megan just adds her to it! FALL AWAY SLAM SAMOAN DROP COMBO! The fire up again, and Megan LEAPING LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Tag to Lena and Divine Dominion get Maya up. But Hyan with the save! Lena ROCKS Hyan, Megan TOSSES Hyan aside, then they get Maya again! The Divine Dominion tumble outside, and Maya holds the ropes open for Hyan! Hyan DIVES through the five hole to take out Divine Dominion! Then she sets them back up so Maya can ASAI MOONSAULT! Down they go again! The fans are thunderous while Hyan & Maya put Lena in. But Lena wrenches and BOOTS Hyan! Hyan ROCKS Lena! Then she counter punches again and again and again! Hyan CHOPS, runs, but into the BOOT! Lena reels Hyan into the fireman’s carry, but Hyan fights free!

They RAM shoulders, then Konosuke dares Nick to go again. Nick runs, but Konosuke RUNS him over! Konosuke runs, Nick stays low, but Konosuke ducks ‘n’ dodges to TAKESHITA LINE! The fans fire up, and Okada asks for the tag. Konosuke tags Okada in, and they work together to double whip and DOUBLE SHOULDER TACKLE! Okada adds an ELBOW DROP, then Konosuke adds an ELBOW DROP!
The fans cheer Okada and Konosuke as they shake hands! Okada scoops Nick, SLAMS him down, then slingshot SENTONS from the apron! Okada mocks The Bucks’ signature pose, then stalks Nick to the corner. Okada tags Konosuke, they double whip but Nick blocks a shot to CHOP! Nick goes up and over Okada to then “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The fans fire up while Nick tags Matt. Matt whips, Okada reverses, but Matt goes up and over. Nick GAMANGIRIS before helping Matt with the SLICED BREAD! Then SHINING WIZARD! Konosuke storms in, but into double kicks!
The Bucks double whip, but Konosuke dodges! Konosuke waistlocks Matt, Matt switches to shove Konosuke and Nick waistlocks. Matt runs up, but Konosuke BOOTS him! Konosuke switches, Nick switches, Matt runs up, SUNSET GERMAN SUPLEX! Then The Bucks DOUBLE LARIAT Konosuke up and out! The fans fire up while Okada regroups with Takeshita. Nick and Matt work together, MONKEY FLIP ASAI MOONSAULT! The fans are thunderous again but Callis gets pissed! Nick drags Konosuke up and puts him in the ring. Matt scoops, Nick aims from the apron, but Okada hurries in! Nick fakes the springboard to make Okada whiff on his dropkick!
Matt CLUBS Konosuke, Nick springboards, MISSILE DROPKICK SENTON COMBO! The fans fire up and rally behind The Bucks, Nick whips Matt so he can WRECK Konosuke with a dropkick! Nick runs, but Okada FLAPJACKS him onto Matt! Matt falls and Okada grins while Nick flounders away. Okada goes out and asks, “How’s your brother’s d*ck?” Konosuke covers Matt, TWO! Okada RAMS Nick into railing while Konosuke clamps onto Matt with a chinlock. The fans tell Callis off while Konosuke clamps on with a tighter hold. Matt fights up, fires body shots, then runs, but into a BOOT! Matt flounders while Konosuke tags Okada.
Okada storms up on Matt, TOSSES him out, and he distracts the ref so Konosuke can SMACK Matt off the desk! Callis says okay, take it easy, but Konosuke stands Matt so Callis can CLAW Matt’s eye! The fans boo but the ref misses it all! Konosuke puts Matt in the ring for Okada while the fans continue to tell Callis off. The fans rally as Okada runs and ELBOWS Matt in the corner! Okada scuffs Matt but Matt gets mad. The fans fire up as Matt fires haymakers! Okada kicks low, then DDTS! Cover, TWO! Okada tags Konosuke, they haul Matt up, and they whip Matt to the corner. Konosuke runs up but Matt ELBOWS him away!
Matt ELBOWS Okada, then he DUMPS Konosuke! Then he DUMPS Okada! Konosuke trips Matt up, drags him out, and sends him into railing! Matt runs up but Konosuke pops him up, only to get DIAMOND DUST on the floor! The fans fire up while Matt slowly rises up. Matt hurries into the ring, crawls as fast as he can, but Okada YANKS Nick down! Then he HOTSHOTS Matt! Okada kicks Nick to DDT him on the floor! Okada snatches the headband and vest to put it on! Callis gets a good laugh but the fans do love Okada cosplaying as a Young Buck. Okada mockingly holds out a hand but Matt sees it’s NOT Nick.
Matt frowns but Okada grins as he flips Matt off. But then Matt SUPERKICKS Okada down! Konosuke runs up and EXPLODERS! Cover, TWO! Okada takes off the vest and he tags in. “This is Awesome!” as Okada & Konosuke stand Matt up. Matt fires hands on Okada, then on Konosuke, then runs. Matt ducks ‘n’ dodges, then rolls back to wheelbarrow and DOUBLE BULLDOG! The fans fire up while Matt reaches out. Hot tag to Nick! Now Nick fires hands on Okada and Konosuke! Konosuke mule kicks, then he and Okada double whip! They DOUBLE HIP TOSS, but Nick lands out! Meeting of the minds!
Nick pommels off Takeshita to KICK Okada! Nick puts Konosuke up top, then dodges to send Okada into Konosuke! Konosuke falls back while Nick whips Okada, but Okada reverses. Nick goes up and out to ROCK Okada, then springboards to DOUBLE STOMP! Somersault and DRAPING BACKSTABBER! The fans are thunderous as Nick stands tall! Nick runs up to wheelbarrow and CUTTER on Okada! Cover, Konosuke breaks it! Matt storms in and brings Konosuke up, but Konosuke fires a forearm! Knock knock, it’s KYLE O’REILLY~! The fans cheer this returning star, and Kyle asks, “Did somebody say Conglomeration?” Cassidy and Roddy didn’t… Oh. Well, CONGLOMERATION! Kyle said it! He and Roddy hug, and they’re back in business! But will they soon be conglomerating with those titles? The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see if the “new season” lives up to the hype!
The trios sort out, and as the fans cheer for him, Kyle starts against Finlay. The bell rings, the fans rally, and the two tie up. The fans fire up for Kyle, he tags Roddy, and they KICK and CHOP away on Finlay! Cassidy warns them, and they intercept Kidd & Connors with KICK and CHOP! Then Kyle ROCKS Finlay, tags Cassidy, and Roddy hits a BACKBREAKER on Finlay! Cassidy climbs up, but then climbs down, and winds up to ELBOW DROP! The fans cheer while Cassidy flexes. Cassidy coordinates with the others, but The Dogs CLOBBER them all! No high-fives here, but then Conglomeration TOSSES the Dogs out! And we get the triple high-five! Cassidy DIVES onto Finlay, but Finlay catches him! And Connors dodges the wrecking ball dropkick! Finlay THROWS Cassidy into the barriers, Connors THROWS Roddy into railing! Finlay stomps Kyle to get him off of Gabe, then Finlay brings Kyle up. Connors aims from the apron, Finlay suplexes, FULL CLIP to the floor! The fans boo but The Dogs soak up the heat. From there, his second reign has been much like the first, with shortcuts and underhanded tactics. He even went so far as to seal off Hangman Adam Page from this title forever! But now, the God of Professional Wrestling has his chance to set things right! Will The Devil pay for his sins? Or will Kenny Omega have to admit that Maxwell Jacob Friedman is better than him, and he knows it?
MJF leans heavily into his Devil personal with the throne rising up from underground and the heavy metal looking outfit. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who truly reigns on high!
For once, the ref thinks ahead, and he tells MJF to give up the Dynamite Diamond Ring! MJF reluctantly obliges, then the bell rings. The fans lose their minds already as they witness this dream rematch. MJF and Kenny step up, and MJF says it doesn’t matter how many fans cheer him on, it won’t win the match. MJF and Kenny circle, feel things out, and tie up. They’re in a deadlock, then break. The fans rally as the two circle. MJF victory rolls through, TWO! MJF runs up, Kenny goes up and over, then he ducks ‘n’ dodges! Kenny goes up, steadies himself, and CROSSBODIES! MJF hurries to ropes, but he dodges Kenny! MJF has Kenny in place, but Kenny THROWS MJF away before the Heatseeker! Then Kenny aims, BANG, and- NO, MJF bails out before the V-Trigger! The fans boo, but MJF goes over the railing and walks it off. The fans boo, MJF tells them to shut up, then MJF takes his time going back to ringside. MJF says we’re on HIS time, then he steps into the ring. Kenny and MJF reset, and Kenny offers that handshake again.
MJF laughs, and he pie faces Kenny instead! Kenny shoves MJF, MJF CLAWS Kenny’s face! The fans boo but MJF soaks up heat. MJF runs, but into a RANA! MJF tumbles out, Kenny gets the Terminator Drums going, and he builds speed, but MJF just steps aside. MJF says he’s too smart for that, but then Kenny WERCKS MJF with a dropkick! And then PLANCHAS! Down goes MJF and the fans fire up! MJF scrambles away while Kenny high-fives fans. Kenny lines up a shot, runs in at MJF, but MJF drop toeholds Kenny onto a chair! MJF grins as he outsmarts Kenny on that one. MJF ROCKS Kenny, Kenny falls into the timekeeper’s area, and MJF soaks up the heat.
MJF stands Kenny up, but Kenny SLAPS MJF! Kenny hits at QUEBRADA using the barriers! The fans fire up again while Kenny stands back up. Then Kenny clears off the timekeeper’s table, and the fans cheer as he brings it around! The ref reprimands but Kenny apologizes, he has to do this. Kenny drops the table onto MJF, then DIVING DOUBLE STOMPS the table into MJF! The fans fire up as Kenny brings back a classic maneuver! Kenny then takes the table, sets it up nearby, but the ref says win this in the ring! Kenny rolls into the ring, but then rolls out, refreshing the count. The fans cheer as Kenny brings the table around.

Down goes MJF and the fans fire up! Kenny takes a moment to catch his breath while the fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Kenny walks off the pain and he brings MJF up.

Kenny slaps his abs into working, and he brings MJF up. Kenny Electric Chair Lifts, but MJF flails! MJF fights the tuck, gets the dragon sleeper, CROSS RHODES!! And then the tuck for a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER!! Cover, TWO?!? Kenny survives and MJF is beside himself, but the fans are thunderous! MJF and Kenny slowly stir, and the fans hope these two “Fight Forever!” But this has to end somehow, and MJF goes to Kenny to SLAP him!
The fans boo but MJF eggs Kenny on. MJF slaps Kenny around, scuffs him, then scuffs him again. MJF slaps Kenny around, CLUBS away on him, then throws haymakers! The fans boo, but MJF has Kenny on the ropes quite literally as he BODY BLOWS! MJF scuffs and slaps Kenny again, CHOPS him on the back, but Kenny gets in MJF’s face! MJF ROCKS Kenny, SPITS on him, but Kenny grins. MJF eggs Kenny on, the fans are thunderous, and Kenny says STOP! He fires off a series of fast hands! The fans fire up as Kenny ROCKS, BOOTS, KICKS, and repeat! Kenny KICKS MJF right in the face! Kenny is unleashing that same scary mode Ibushi has!
Kenny tells MJF guess what. Kenny SPINS in MJF’s face, then BUZZSAWS him! Then BANG, V-TRIGGER!! The fans want that “One More Time!” but Kenny stands MJF up to ROCK him with that straight right! The fans cheer as MJF is back on the ropes, and Kenny reloads to V-TRIGGER!! Kenny then hauls MJF up in the Electric Chair, for a ONE WINGED- NO, MJF slips free, shoves Kenny, and uses the ref as a shield for the V-TRIGGER!! Down goes Bryce and the fans go nuts! Kenny checks on Bryce, he is out cold! MJF LOW BLOWS Kenny!! MJF crawls to Bryce, makes sure he is out, and then he goes looking in the pockets!
MJF brings out the Dynamite Diamond Ring! The fans boo as MJF goes back to Ol’ Reliable! But Kenny dodges, and V-TRIGGERS! Kenny lifts MJF, ONE WINGED ANGEL!!! Cover, but the ref is out!! Kenny would’ve won three times over! Wait, Paul Turner is here! Cover, TWO!!! MJF survives what was actually 15 counts, but nothing can be done about that now! Kenny is furious but MJF goes to the apron. The fans cheer for the table, and Kenny says why not. Kenny goes to the apron, then he lifts MJF! But the gut bothers him again! Kenny fires back up, but MJF DIAMOND RING BODY BLOWS!! The ref missed it, checking on Bryce!
MJF gut wrenches Kenny to TOMBSTONE through the table!!! MJF drags Kenny from the wreckage while the fans go nuts, and he has Kenny in the ropes! HEATSEEKER!!! Cover, MJF WINS!!!
Winner: MJF, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)
Whether you agree with the talk of Devil and God of AEW, it is very clear that MJF is a sinner for all the crimes he committed just to hold onto his gold! Will Kenny Omega ever have this world title again? As for MJF, he sits upon his throne, adorned with his twisted crown and “Triple B.” But will we see Darby Allin become a demon slayer when he challenges MJF in Seattle?
My Thoughts:
Another awesome PPV for AEW, though full to the brim as always. I wonder if AEW needs to let pressure off and not always have every single title defended at a PPV. Anyway, great Zero Hour stuff, and I certainly didn’t think they’d bring Kamille back quite like this, but going after Willow and the TBS title is great stuff for Kamille. They’ll have a great match, but something about this makes me think Kamille almost has to win or what was the point? Great match for Windsor VS Marina and a great win for Windsor. Perry VS Davis was very good, and rather outta nowhere, a bit to my point of AEW insisting every title be defended. Maya & Hyan VS Divine Dominion was really good, too, but of course status quo is kept on Zero Hour.
Awesome tag match from Okada & Konosuke VS Bucks, but of course the team of Okada & Konosuke fell apart. This builds towards not just Okada VS Konosuke but it could also build the Don Callis Family Civil War with the family split down the middle. I’m thinking Andrade could join Team Konosuke as Faces after his epic with Darby. Darby was of course winning this, given MJF was winning the main event. Andrade showing respect to Darby will not make Callis happy, but Andrade was already upset about the MJF business so it’d make sense. But I’m already worried it’s not gonna go Darby’s way if they’re doing it in the Seattle area and not on PPV…
Very good match from Jericho VS Ricochet, but Ricochet winning was quite the surprise. Though, if this ends up just like all other Jericho feuds, won’t he come back for more, drag this out, and then we get another match where Ricochet still wins? FTR VS Cope & Christian was great, and while FTR winning out wasn’t really surprising, FTR winning so suddenly kinda was. The Bucks winning their match, are we getting FTR VS Bucks again at Double or Nothing? Or are we getting the Triple Threat they kinda teased after Revolution? A Triple Threat would definitely be a way to protect FTR and C&C while Bucks get their historic fourth reign.
The Casino Gauntlet was once again awesome and unpredictable, and what an awesome win for Kevin Knight. Though, with it being at Bailey’s expense since he was in that Dragontamer, will that compel JetSpeed feuding on the way to Double or Nothing? At the very least, Ciampa going after Knight will give us an awesome match. Thekla VS Jamie was really good, but another sneaky win for Thekla might prolong this story to Double or Nothing. Windsor getting past Marina, I wonder if Windsor gets her shot at Thekla while Jamie watches her back.
Moxley VS Ospreay was awesome, but the go-home math definitely indicated Moxley was winning this. Ospreay hitting the Hidden Blades to start but he didn’t bother covering, that was their way of showing us Ospreay wasn’t winning. Ospreay was too focused on hurting Moxley, not winning a title, but I’m sure this story will continue. Conglomeration VS Dogs was really good, but it seems Gabe’s arm got legit hurt. Hopefully he’s alright, because this not only screws with AEW plans but with NJPW plans. But at the same time, I sensed The Dogs being transitional champions to The Conglomeration now that Kyle O’Reilly is back, great stuff for them.
And of course, go-home math came through on MJF VS Kenny. Kenny stood tall but he chose to NOT keep the Dynamite Diamond Ring for his own, that stupid thing came through for MJF again, and MJF retains. An awesome match all the same, and MJF just keeps building the heat, but again, hard to say if Darby actually wins out on Wednesday.

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who really runs this!
The trios sort out and Mistico starts against Finlay. The fans rally as they circle, but then Gabe CLOBBERS Mistico and Connors YANKS Bailey down! Finlay BLASTS Knight down, then he TOSSES Mistico! The Dogs soak up the heat before they keep on beating up the champs! Bailey is sent into railing, Finlay CLUBS Knight, and Connors CLAWS at Mistico’s mask! Finlay CLAWS bailey’s face, Gabe stomps Bailey, then Gabe puts Bailey in the ring. Gabe mocks Bailey with a crane stance before he CHOPS! Gabe whips, Bailey handsprings, then Bailey ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! The fans fire up as Bailey then DROPKICKS Gabe out!
Bailey aims but Connors CLOBBERS him first! Knight FLYING ARM-DRAGS Connors, then bypasses him. Connors counters the hip toss, only for Knight to counter with an arm-drag! Knight back suplexes, Connors lands out to shove, but Knight goes up and over. Knight bypasses again to TOSS Connors out! Finlay CLOBBERS Knight! The Dogs CLAW eyes, then throw hands! Gabe whips Bailey but Bailey DUMPS Gabe out! PLANCHA and down goes Gabe! Knight DUMPS Connors out, then slingshots, but lands out as Connors moves. Knight then goes to the corner to PLANCHA Connors down after all! Finlay whips, Mistico DUMPS him out, and then TORNILLO PLANCHAS! The fans fire up as #JetSetLucha has turned the tables on The Dogs! The champs regroup and they get the Dogs set up.
Bailey CHOPS Gabe, Mistico ROCKS Finlay, and Knight CHOPS Connors! Mistico KICKS Finlay, Knight ROCKS Connors, and Mistico SMACKS Finlay off the desk! Bailey sends Gabe into more railing! Bailey high-fives fans while Knight stomps Connors. Mistico BOOTS Finlay down, Knight high-fives fans, and Mistico CLAWS Finlay’s face in return! Mistico KICKS Finlay in the back! Bailey KICKS Connors, Mistico DECKS Finlay, and the champs return to the ring. Tag to Bailey, tag to Knight, and they all build speed! But The Dogs trip them up! JEEP FLIPPER for Knight! Finlay POSTS Mistico! The Dogs talk trash as they take control again, but Collision goes picture in picture.
Connors drags Knight up, SMACKS him, then stalks him to the corner. Tag to Finlay and he stomps Knight. Finlay stomps a mudhole in, argues with the ref, and Gabe gets a cheap shot in! Connors CHOKES Knight! The Dogs soak up the heat before Finlay steps on Knight’s neck! The ref counts, Finlay steps off and tags Gabe. Gabe stalks Knight, Knight fires body shots, but Gabe stops Knight from reaching his corner! Gabe RAMS Knight into the corner, SMACKS him down, then talks trash on the fans. Gabe SPITS at Knight, then taunts Bailey and Mistico. Connors CHOKES Knight behind the ref’s back, then Finlay snap suplexes! Cover, TWO!
Finlay keeps Knight down with an armlock, and he bends Knight’s fingers before he JAMS them into the mat! Knight clutches that hand, but Finlay BOOTS him down! Finlay then drags Knight to center for a neck wrench. Collision returns to single picture as Knight endures the chinlock. Finlay leans on the hold but Knight fights up. The fans rally, Knight fires body shots, but Finlay throat chops! Finlay whips, Knight reverses, and Knight DROPKICKS Finlay down! The fans fire up while both men are down! Finlay and Knight crawl, hot tag to Mistico! The fans fire up as Mistico runs, handsprings, and ELBOWS FInlay!
Mistico keeps moving, he ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! Gabe & Connors run in, Mistico dodges them both, and he uses Connors to get up! RANA on Gabe! CHOP on Connors! Mistico CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, then goes up, up, and FLYING ARM-DRAGS! The fans fire up as The Dogs are all outside! #JetSetLucha tries this again, and they build speed to TRIPLE DIVE! Down go The Dogs at the ramp! The fans fire up again, and Bailey puts Finlay in. Mistico tags Knight, Knight climbs up, but Gabe YANKS Bailey down! Gabe SHOVES Knight, BLASTS Mistico, then Finlay hauls Knight up! CANADIAN HAMMER! And SPEAR from Connors! Cover, Bailey breaks it!!

Gabe stomps Mistico, hauls him up, PILEDRIVER! The Dogs regroup, Finlay tags Gabe. The Mad Man brings Knight up, around, but Knight fights the lift! Knight RAMS Gabe into the corner! The United Empire regrouped backstage, victorious from the Chaos in Canada, but Will Ospreay says, “Lemme get this straight, Jon Boy. Last week, you said there was six of you and only one of me. That’s funny, because I got a lot of friends over in Japan. Not even friends, brothers, guys that looked after my back since day one. Francesco Akira, one of the greatest Junior Heavyweight Tag wrestlers of all time. Henare, one of the toughest mother effers I’ve ever met in my entire life. This guy knocked out Gabe Kidd with one hand, bang, across his head, and a gash in his head that was about four centimeters.
“And this is my little brother, Callum Newman. You may recognize that (title on his shoulder). He is the youngest-ever IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Together, we’re the United Empire.” Callum says after Ryogoku, after winning the most prestigious title in all of pro-wrestling, Big Brother Billy took ’em all out to the bar, said he had a problem at work. Well, there’s one thing about the Empire: The ARE united. They’ve had their differences, they’ve had things going on, but it doesn’t matter where or when, The Empire stands together. They are a brotherhood! Damn right. And Jon, Sunday, Ospreay gets you all to himself.
No Death Riders, no United Empire, just them and the Continental Championship. And Moxley said he wont’ stand in the way of action and consequences. Good. Neither will Ospreay. The Aerial Assassin’s edge is sharpened, but will he be able to cut down The Maniac?

Both former AEW Women’s World Champions have been dealing with some frustrations over not winning titles. But these two go away back to the early days of AEW, so surely they can make a formidable tag team. Will this be the beginning of the Galaxy’s Greatest Duo? Or are they resting on their laurels even now?
The teams sort out and Shida starts against Ava. The fans cheer Ava on as a local favorite, but Shida fires off forearms! Shida ROCKS Ava and puts her in the corner. Shida whips corner to corner, then runs in, and she JUMP KNEES Ava! Shida climbs up and rains down fists! The fans count along and Shida goes to TEN! Shida is fired up, the fans cheer, and Shida brings Ava around to suplex for the FALCON ARROW! Shida then winds up and runs, but Kris tags in! Shida is upset by that but Ava hot tags Gigi! Gigi runs up and RAMS Kris! Gigi fires forearms, but Kris snap suplexes! Then a roll through for the FISHERMAN BUSTER!
Kris runs to BOOT Ava down, then she brings Gigi up. Gigi fires body shots, but Kris whips Gigi away. Gigi ducks ‘n’ dodges, tilt-o-whirls and- NO, Kris blocks for STATURDAY NIGHT FEVER! Cover, Kris & Shida win!

The Death Riders regrouped after that loss, but Moxley laughed it off and said that was so much fun. Chaos, tables breaking, bodies flying everywhere. They live for this! The Empire stepped into the Death Riders’ world and survived, congrats, good for them. But do they wanna do it again? Or do they want to never have to do that again? This is where Death Riders live! This is what they do, this is what they are! They thrive in the chaos, the live in the eye of the storm! No organization, not in AEW or NJPW or CMLL, nowhere else in this world, can they run with this group. No one can keep up with this group, not for long.
Others get tired, hurt, distracted, fall off, break. Will Ospreay is hellbent on breaking Moxley’s neck. So headstrong, so determined, so talented. Ospreay has done everything right in his career. Maybe. With this play that he’s making, 20 minutes alone with Moxley to get his hands on Moxley, that is a very long time to not make a mistake. Not with a neck like that! Ospreay can’t afford it. So screw Ospreay, screw the United Empire, screw NJPW, it’s them VS The World! Moxley leaves, Daniel Garcia reiterates, “Against the world.” Will nothing stop MOxley from keeping that Contiental Championship?
Casino Gauntlet Stakes: Rush VS Anthony Bowens!
Tommaso Ciampa won the #1 spot in the TNT Championship Casino Gauntlet, but now it is time to determine who joins him as #2! Will El Toro Blanco stampede his way into Vancouver? Or will the Pride of Professional Wrestling prove he can be a killer?
The bell rings and the two circle. The fans rally for Rush as the two tie up, then break. They tie up again, Bowens headlocks, but Rush fires body shots. Rush puts Bowens on ropes, headlocks in return, but Bowens powers up and out. Things speed up, Bowens drops down then hurdles over, but Rush leaps over Bowens! Rush comes back but Bowens RUNS him over! Rush returns to RUN Bowens over! The fans fire up as the two start shoving. Then they start throwing forearms! Rush fires up and eggs Bowens on. The forearms keep going, then Rush CHOPS! Bowens scowls to CHOP again! Rush CHOPS!
The CHOPS go back and forth, then Bowens CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Bowens runs, but rush dodges to CHOP! And CHOP! Rush eggs Bowens on again, then dodges to DECK him! Bowens goes to a corner while the fans fire up. Rush sits Bowens down to stomp away on him! Rush then goes corner to corner and back again, to fake the dropkick, and he BOOTS Bowens instead! The fans are torn as Rush rolls back to tranquilo. Rush then hears the fans fire up. Bowens runs up but Rush SNAP POWERSLAMS him! Rush kicks and runs, but into a BOOT from Bowens! Bowens CLUBS and ELBOWS Rush again and again!
Bowens CLUBS Rush down, Rush bails out, and Bowens goes out after Rush. The fans cheer Bowens as he whips Rush hard into railing! And then whips him hard into more railing! Bowens scissor fingers some fans, then he SMACKS Rush off the steel steps again and again! Rush falls over, Bowens roars, and the fans cheer him on! Bowens drags Rush up, reels him in, but Rush fights the suplex! Bowens fires body shots, but Rush still fights! Bowens whisp Rush into more railing! Rush flops down, Bowens refreshes the ring count, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Bowens storms over to Rush, drags him up, and sits him in the corner. Bowens CHOPS, CHOPS, and puts Rush in the ring. Bowens fires up with the fans, then he goes to the ring. Bowens stomps Rush, but Rush SPITS at him! Bowens snarls and SUPERKICKS Rush down! Cover, ONE! Rush toughs it out but Bowens clamps on with a chinlock, then a COBRA CLUTCH! Rush endures, even as Bowens grinds him down! Rush fights up, fights around, and fires body shots. Rush DROPKICKS Bowens into the corner! Rush snarls but he has control as Collision goes to break.
Collision returns as Bowens winds up for a mule kick, a front kick, then a FAMOUSER! Cover, TWO! Rush toughs it out but Bowens keeps his cool. Bowens drags Rush up, whips him to a corner, but Rush reverses. Rush SPLASHES, then he snapmares to basement DROPKICK! The fans fire up with Rush, and he sees Bowens go to the corner. Rush kicks Bowens, eggs him on, but Bowens bumps Rush off buckles! Bowens ROCKS and CHPOS, but then Rush puts Bowens in the corner to CHOP and CHOP! Bowens ROCKS and CHOPS and repeat! Rush guzels but Bowens breaks free to ROCK Rush! Rush hits back and the fans cheer the forearms flying!
Rush wrenches Bowens into the ANGLE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Bowens survives and Rush is furious! The fans rally as Rush rises up, and he brings Bowens around to whip to the corner. Bowens reverses, runs up, and he puts Rush in the ropes. ENZIGIRI! Then the DRAPING SIDEWINDER! Cover, TWO! Rush survives and the fans fire up again! Bowens snarls, he pounds the mat, and the fans rally. Bowens goes to a corner, takes aim at Rush, and he runs up, but into a CORNER BELLY2BELLY! Not the strongest throw, but Rush looks to add on! Tonight, they take them both on together in a tag match. Alex tells Marina that while she serves as Moxley’s little lap dog, she’ll send a message to Moxley: “Jon, Will is gonna cut the head off the snake, but first, I’m gonna chop off the ass! But don’t worry when Will breaks your neck, because I promise I will put Marina right next to you.”
Jamie tells Thekla that she must admit, Thekla’s doing pretty well for herself. Jamie honestly didn’t think Thekla would get this far! The last time they stood across the ring from each other, Jamie didn’t see some Toxic Spider or even some crazy girl, she saw a tosser who was too afraid to get hit! Now, she’ll tell you for free, Jamie will hit Thekla harder than she’s ever been hit before. So tell her, what does that title mean to you? Because to Jamie, it is her life! Harley says sometimes, all you have left is hope. Mina agrees. Harley says she and Mina are rather similar, in more ways than one. But the main thing is, Kris rejected Harley’s idea of tagging and training together, Mina is without Toni Storm, and now they’re both here, alone together. Yep. There is only one thing left to do. Lexy asks what that is, and Mina grabs a couple of glasses, but Harley says just hand her the bottle. Bottoms up, tops down.
Lexy watches as Mina sips her bubbly, and Harley chugs the bottle! Well, drinking away the pain only lasts so long. Will Mina and Harley help pick each other up so they can both move forward?

On Wednesday, the deal was struck that if The Rainmaker & Alpha work together at Dynasty against The Young Bucks, Double or Nothing would see Rainmaker VS Alpha for this title. But does that mean Okada is already overlooking the third Rascal? Or will Okada use Myron to send a message to everyone, including Takeshita?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who lights it up!
Callis joins commentary and says that this match is just to tie up loose ends, and that “this green headed little punk is gonna get his ass handed to him by the great Rainmaker, Okada.” The bell rings and the fans rally for Okada as he circles with Reed. They tie up, are in a deadlock, but Okada’s height gives him the leverage. They go to the ropes, Okada lets off slowly, but then he ROCKS Reed with forearms! Okada CLUBS Reed to a corner, stomps away on him, then stops as the ref counts. Okada runs corner to corner, but Reed dodges to counter punch! And counter punch! Okada THROWS Reed to the corner, then stomps away!
Okada CLUBS Reed, then runs the ropes to LARIAT Reed up and out! Reed lands safe on the apron, though, and he dodges Okada to GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! Reed goes up, up, but Okada avoids the leap! Okada refreshes the ring count, kicks Reed low, then DDTS him on the floor! Okada brings Reed up again, puts him in the ring, then stalks him to ropes. Okada stands Reed up, bumps him off buckles, then bumps him off more buckles. Okada goes to a third corner for a third buckle bump, then flips the fans off for wanting the full set! Okada grins as he trolls the fans, and he drags Reed up. Okada ELBOWS Reed in the corner, and Collision goes to break.
Collision returns as Okada eggs Reed on, daring him to take a shot. Reed fires a forearm, but then Okada kicks low and DDTS hard! Cocky cover, ONE! Reed is tougher than that but Okada drags him up for a scoop. Okada SLAMS Reed, goes to the corner, and he climbs up top. Standard formula says MACHO ELBOW, but onto knees! Reed gets Okada in the ghost pin, TWO! Okada kicks low, then suplexes, but into STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE! The fans rally up while both men are down! Reed and Okada rise, Reed CLOBBERS Okada again and again! Reed whips, Okada reverses, then Okada ducks the boot!
Okada blocks the superkick, avoids the sweep, but Reed avoids the boot! Reed goes Matrix to avoid the lariat, and he PELES! Okada staggers away and the fans fire up! Reed runs corner to corner, but he blocks boots first! Reed puts Okada in the ropes, ENZIGIRIS, then goes out to slingshot and GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! Cover, TWO! Okada survives but Reed is not dismayed. Callis tells Okada to execute Reed in Japanese, but Reed FLIES! Down goes Okada and the fans fire up with Reed! Callis is upset but Reed puts Okada in the ring. Reed counter punches Okada, then slingshots, but Okada catches him! REVERSE NECKBREAKER!
The fans rally as Okada brings Reed back up. Okada scoops and SLAMS Reed, and he tries the standard formula again. Okada aims for the MACHO ELBOW! Direct hit this time, and then Okada winds up the Rainmaker MIDDLE FINGER! Okada brings Reed up, around, but Reed fires elbows! Reed runs, but into the DROPKICK! Okada drags Reed up, gut wrenches, but Reed fights free! Reed fireman’s carries to swing Okada onto the ropes for the DRAPING FLATLINER! The ref has to keep Windsor from storming in, but that means Thekla and Marina get away with this! The ref finally sees, Marina lets go, but she also intercepts Windsor! Standing toehold, but then Windsor BOOTS Marina into Thekla! Jamie hits a BACKBREAKER on Thekla! Marina gets around Jamie to GERMAN SUPLEX! Windsor LARIATS Marina! Thekla SPIDER SPEARS Windsor! Then Thekla dodges Jamie to ROCK her! Jamie HEADBUTTS Thekla! All four women are down and the fans are thunderous! Thekla crawls, calls to Marina, but Jamie does the same with Windsor. Hot tags to Marina and Windsor!
Windsor runs up, Marina dodges and fires off forearms! Marina tells Windsor to do better before she ROCKS her! Windsor ROCKS Marina and tells her to bring it! The CHOPS start flying and the fans fire up! Windsor fires forearms now, then runs, but into a mule kick! And front kick! Windsor rebounds to DECK Marina! Tag to Jamie, and Windsor lifts Marina! Jamie runs, but Thekla trips her! Thekla drags Jamie out while Marina BELL CLAPS Windsor! MOTHER’S MILK!! Jamie DECKS Thekla, storms back in, and Windsor stomps a foot! HEADBUTT from Windsor to Marina, and then TWO BIRDS ONE STONE!! Cover, Birds win!!

It wasn’t easy, but The Birds managed to solve The Problem! Wait, is Marina smiling? Is she just that excited to have another fight like this with Iron Will Windsor? Will Jamie make sure Thekla gets a real taste of Hayterade? Or will Thekla make sure AEW stays toxic?
My Thoughts:
A great go-home episode of Collision, and of course they had three different post-Dynamite promo segments to add some final touches on things. Good promos from United Empire and Death Riders, and Garcia having to have the last word makes me wonder. Will Garcia try and help Moxley despite Continental Rules? Will Garcia cost Moxley the title because of that? They have yet to even tease such a thing in the history of this title and the Continental Rules, this could be the time to do it. But at the same time, Moxley VS Ospreay having a real finish, even a 20 minute time limit finish, would be more favorable for the fans.
A title change here tonight is really surprising. At the same time, Mistico was a TRIPLE champion between AEW and CMLL, so something had to give. But The Dogs turning right around to face Cassidy, Roddy, and I can only assume a returning Kyle O’Reilly, are The Dogs going to be transitional champions to The Conglomeration? That’d be pretty wild, but would also compel a renewed rivalry between Dogs and Conglomeration going towards Double or Nothing and beyond. For that matter, maybe Hurt Syndicate finding a new member is something they build towards DON, as they simply did a squash match win to get them going again.
Kris & Shida of course won their match, but this seems to be a vehicle for a feud, or at least Shida’s Heel turn. Mina and Harley had a very fun promo, especially with Harley chugging that drink. I don’t know if Mina & Harley become a duo, or they get in on the story with Kris and Shida to build up the midcard, but Mina and Harley both know how to be hilarious so this will be a lot of fun. Good promos from Maya & Hyan as well as Divine Dominion, but clearly Maya & Hyan are being fed to Megan & Lena to build their reign. Though, it is wild to think Maya & Hyan are getting this moment at all from the great work they’re doing in ROH.
Rush VS Bowens was great stuff, especially for Bowens bringing out his aggression, but Rush winning out was a given. I really do mean it when I say Ciampa and Rush could just be the TNT Championship match on its own, but the Casino Gauntlet will be a lot of fun, as it always is. Not sure what’s going on with “Bowens wants to be in The Opps” since we haven’t seen Hook in a minute. And that Acclaimed reunion slow burn went ice cold, not sure why TK didn’t/hasn’t see the road ahead for it. He could even be using The Opps as part of it, where Caster is also trying to prove he has ruthless aggression. But just as they’d been teasing before, Caster and Bowens would see they’re better together, no one else needed, and boom, Acclaimed is back!
The Bucks VS Clon y Hechi was a great match, perhaps better than it needed to be, but that’s also par for the course with AEW. Okada VS Reed was also great, but sadly a forgone conclusion when they gave us that deal within The Don Callis Family. Bucks have momentum, Okada has momentum, Konosuke has momentum, the tag match could go either way, but all with the purpose of building Okada VS Takeshita. And great main event tag from Brawling Birds VS Thekla & Windsor. Marina taking the loss protects Thekla, but I feel she’ll find a way to retain against Jamie. Marina VS Windsor can go either way, since it’s non-title and is kinda more about the larger Death Riders story.
