Now that Brock Lesnar returned at last night’s Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, today we found out that it wasn’t just a one-time appearance for ‘The Beast Incarnate’ as he has been scheduled to compete at WWE’s next Saudi Arabia event on November 2nd (read about that here).
Much like we saw at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah back on April 27th that netted the company an estimated $45 million, the company appears to once again be loading up for their next venture to Saudi Arabia. News of Lesnar’s participation comes just a couple of weeks after we learned that WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels’ recent Monday Night RAW appearance was to set up a return match, also for November 2nd (check that out here).
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, the amount of money surrounding the Saudi Arabia events is what enticed Michaels out of retirement and Lesnar to stick around. While no exact numbers are known, it’s believed that both will be easily making into seven figures for their participation. Additionally when it comes to Brock, Alvarez stated it’s likely a multi-million dollar agreement.
At this time, it’s not yet known who Lesnar and Michaels’ opponents will be as the event has yet to officially be announced by WWE. The belief right now is that ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ will likely team with Triple H to face The Undertaker and a partner, while Lesnar is rumored to face Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat for the Universal Championship.
