MLW has signed Jacob Fatu!
With wrestling companies here in the United States in a frenzy to snatch up talent, on the heels of recently losing Rush to Ring Of Honor (see the latest on that here), Major League Wrestling has added another new face to its roster.
Recently, we learned that MLW signed The Almighty Sheik and Mance Warner (read about that here), but now they have inked Jacob Fatu to a contract according to PWInsider. Fatu is the son of former WWE Superstar The Tonga Kid, also known as Tama of The Islanders, and is also the nephew of WWE Hall Of Famer Rikishi, meaning he is also cousins with WWE Superstars The Usos and Roman Reigns.
The man known as ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ was also trained by his uncle Rikishi and has been competing for roughly six years now, mostly in the California area. Among the promotion’s Fatu has competed for are PCW, DEFY Wrestling and others on the West Coast.
PWInsider has also added that it’s believed Fatu will be receiving a big heel push upon his arrival, as some within the company are already comparing him to another member of his family, his late uncle Umaga.
