Matt & Nick Jackson are back, and Alex Marvez asks them for a medical update on Kenny Omega. Matt says physically, Omega’s banged up. Mentally… Wait, the Blackpool Combat Club appears, circling like sharks. The Bucks say okay, hold on, they don’t need to do this right now. But then The Bucks throw their luggage at the BCC! The brawl is on, but Claudio hauls Nick up to RAM him into a Ram! A truck, that is! And then Claudio picks up and TOSSES Nick onto the hood! Meanwhile, Moxley and Yuta mug Matt, bring him over, and SMACK him off the bumper! And then SMACK his bad arm off it!

Yuta asks Matt what’s up! Moxley says the Elite will never win! Understand? “We are the elite in this business! Right here, the only elite in this business.” The BCC leave the Bucks writhing in the parking lot, will this faction warfare ever end?

Backstage interview with Wardlow.

Renee Paquette is with Wardlow in the trainer’s room as he has an icepack on his head. He has everyone hold on, and Arn Anderson storms in. Anderson throws the icepack in frustration and says Wardlow should’ve known. Wardlow says Arn’s right, but what we saw is exactly why Wardlow asked Arn to stay in the back. Arn says you don’t need to protect him, he’s been doing this a long time. Now, Wardlow has seen what Christian will do. The question is, what is Wardlow prepared to do in response? Wardlow says he’s prepared to beat Christian at his own game.

If Christian wants to pull out ladders, let’s pull out ladders! If Christian wants a title match, it’ll be Wardlow VS Christian, Double or Nothing, TNT Championship LADDER MATCH! That is what Wardlow is prepared to do. Will Captain Charisma pay for trying to relive his glory days?

Backstage interview with Orange Cassidy.

Renee is now with the AEW International Champion and says last week, he got jumped by Kyle Fletcher, who clearly wants his shot at the title. Cassidy says there are a lot of people who want a shot. So Kyle, if you want this at Double or Nothing, go find Tony Khan and let him know. Cassidy will fight them all. Is the Freshly Squeezed opening up the door for more than just one challenger? Will he make it through being such a fighting champion?

Sammy Guevara VS Exodus Prime!

Austin, Texas cheers the Spanish God as he returns to his home state. Darby won a match to gain momentum, will Sammy win to keep the pace?

Winner: Sammy Guevara, by pinfall

Victory: check! Momentum: check! Sammy gets the mic now to speak. “Y’know, Austin, every time I’m here, I remember the old days. I remember wrestling on the independents up and down Texas. And I remember the struggles. I remember the good times, the bad times, the drama. But all of that brought me here and made me who I am today. And I know, trust me, I know I’m not perfect. I made a lot of mistakes. Hell, you guys have watched me grow up in front of you and seen my mistakes firsthand. But sometimes, it takes a few wrong turns to get to the right place! And the right place is Las Vegas, May 28th!”

Fans cheer, and Sammy says he’ll finally shut up the naysayers who said he couldn’t do something because of this or because of that. He’s heard that his whole life, and he never listened to it. He listened to what’s in his heart. The stuff you can’t teach or learn. His heart says that he will be the NEW AEW World Champion!! Sammy drops the mic and the fans fire up! Will the Spanish God ascend to the throne?

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

Karen tells Austin to kiss this, and Triple J feeds FTR to Satnam! DOUBLE CHOKE SLAMS!! Sonjay returns and he has the guitars. He hands one to Jarrett and the other to Lethal. Sonjay high-fives Karen, Triple J aims, DOUBLE SMASH HITS!! Though ironically, the wrong guitar hits each of them. Karen grabs the AEW World Tag Team Championships and hand them to her husband and his buddy. Will these five all be celebrating in Las Vegas for Memorial Day Weekend?

Backstage interview with Darby Allin.

Renee congratulates him on the win alongside Orange Cassidy and how he is gaining more momentum towards Double or Nothing. She couldn’t help but notice how he finished it with the headlock takeover. Was that a message to MJF? Absolutely! We’re ten days away from Double or Nothing, and the biggest match of both Darby’s career, Jungle Boy’s career, and even Sammy Guevara’s career. It is no secret how much this match means to Darby. Sammy walks in, and he says that while he and Darby have a “very unique history,” Sammy does respect Darby. Darby may not trust Sammy, but something Darby said a couple weeks ago really stuck with Sammy.

Darby said if Sammy was ever gonna be world champion, he needs to stop being a follower. Well at Double or Nothing, Sammy is not gonna be laying down for Max or make it easy for anyone. Whoever it is, one of them needs to take the title off that prick. Then may the best man win. They fist bump, will the Devil of AEW find himself the loser no matter what?

Rush then HEADBUTTS away on JB, wanting to get that blood pouring more! The ref reprimands but Rush tells him to back off. Rush taunts the fans, then goes back to JB. Rush drags JB up, CHOPS him, and JB falls over! Rush swaggers around, goes back to JB, and JB sputters as he stands back up. Rush revels in it and Dynamite returns to single picture. JB ELBOWS Rush, ROCKS him, CHOPS him, and repeat! JB whips, Rush reverses, but JB COMEBACKERS! But Rush stays up!? Rush kicks JB around, then KICKS JB in the chest! Rush HEADBUTTS JB again, but JB CHOPS! Rush just scowls.

Rush taps JB low and dares him to bring the heat. JB CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS! JB fires off CHOPS, Rush roars, but JB SOBATS! JB runs, but into a JUMP KNEE! But JB DROPKICKS in return! Fans fire up with JB and he goes corner to corner, but into a SUPERKICK! Rush goes up the corner but JB ROCKS him first! JB climbs, throws forearms on Rush, but Rush throws them back! JB adjusts, Rush CHOPS him, and he eggs JB on. JB CHOPS, Rush CHOPS, and again Rush demands more of JB! So JB HEADBUTTS! And HEADBUTTS! And then SUPER STEINERS! Fans fire up as Rush flounders!

JB aims from a corner, but Jose grabs at him! Fans boo, the ref reprimands but Jose plays innocent. Rush runs in, but JB ducks the lariat to trip Rush! JB drags Rush back, SNARE TRAP!! Rush reaches, crawls around, drags JB along, and gets the ROPEBREAK! Jose cheers and JB lets go. Both men go to the apron, and Rush wipes some of JB’s blood onto himself! JB CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Rush CHOPS, JB CHOPS, JB then ducks and he fires palm strike after palm strike! Rush BOOTS! JB staggers, but he comes back, only for Rush to OVERHEAD suplex to the floor!

The fans lose their minds and Rush is scowling. The ref checks JB but he’s somehow still in this. Rush puts JB in the ring, stands on him for the cover, TWO!!! JB isn’t done yet, but Rush drags him up. Rush dares JB to hit him, so JB SLAPS him! Rush DECKS JB! Rush drags JB up, bumps him off buckles, and then stomps away on him! The ref counts, Rush keeps after him, but then the ref pulls Rush back. Rush shoves the ref! The ref and Rush argue, JB rolls Rush up, with the tights!! JB WINS!!

Winner: Jungle Boy, by pinfall

But Rush goes after JB, and then Preston Vance rushes in! The LFI mug JB and they even bring the green cable in! They’re CHOKING JB! But here comes DARBY! Darby slides in to TACKLE Vance! They brawl, Rush gets the cable and goes after Darby with it! LFI mugs Darby again, but here comes SAMMY!! The Spanish God dodges Rush to KNEE him down! And then he SUPERKICKS Vance! Jose gets the SCORPION DEATH DROP! Vance runs back in, but Darby & Sammy dodge to DOUBLE DROPKICK him out! Fans fire up as the Young Pillars all stand tall. There is respect here, just as Sammy said, but only one can be the world champion. Who will win it all at Double or Nothing?

Backstage interview with MJF.

Speaking of the AEW World Champion, he is having a headache, and Renee says we’re a little over a week away from Double or Nothing’s Fatal 4 Way. The champion does not need to be pinned or submitted in the match to lose the title, and as we’re getting closer, how is MJF feeling? MJF slaps the mic out of her hand!! MJF storms off, is this a sign that even The Devil of AEW is afraid?

Backstage interview with Toni Storm.

Renee is with The Lightning From Down Under, and says that Storm has four wins in the last five days, an AEW record! Incredible momentum, to say the least. Storm says that is right, and you know who she doesn’t see setting records like that? The champion, Jamie Hayter! In fact, Storm doesn’t even see Hayter in Austin tonight. “Well guess what, Jamie? I am not the same Toni Storm as before. Oh, no, I am an entirely different animal now. And if you have any guts left at all, you will come to Las Vegas, and you will put the title on the line against ME at Double or Nothing!” Storm throws out the challenge, will Hayter take her up on it?

Ricky Starks VS Jay White w/ Juice Robinson!

This is an absolute main event as THE Absolute takes on King Switch! It has been roughly a month since Jay White started this with Ricky Starks, will it all come to a head here in Austin, Texas?

The bell rings and Starks rushes White! White bails out and wants Starks to stay back. The ref has Starks step back, White gets in and headlocks. Starks powers out, White bails out again, and fans boo. Starks is annoyed with White as White copies Starks’ pose. Starks rushes out, White slides in, and White says okay, he’ll stop playing around. Starks slides in, and White stomps away on him! White CLUBS Starks, Starks throws hands with White and backs him down! The ref counts as Starks stomps away in the corner, but fans fire up as Starks goes hard! Starks finally lets off and White flops out of the ring.

Starks goes out after White but White RAMS him into an apron! White then brings Starks up, but Starks RAMS him into railing! Juice is upset but the fans rally up. Starks brings White up, CHOPS him, and mocks the finger guns. The fans chant “Too Sweet! WOOP WOOP!” Starks glares at Juice but Juice stays back. Starks gets in, but White kicks him low! White CLUBS Starks, UPPERCUTS, and he whips Starks to ropes. White FLAPJACK HOTSHOTS Starks, then covers, TWO! Starks sputters but White drags him up to CHOP! Starks goes to a corner and White brings him out. White CHOPS Starks off his feet!

White stalks Starks, drags him up, and whips him to ropes. Starks reverses and back drops! Fans fire up as Starks strikes his pose properly. Starks stalks White out of the ring, to the ramp, and White CHOPS again! White RAMS Starks into the apron, and again, and then around the way, to CHOP! White aims at the apron but Starks blocks to SMACK White off the apron! Starks throws hands, Juice shouts at him, and that distracts so White can kick low! APRON GOURD BUSTER! Fans duel, “Let’s Go, Switchblade!” “RICKY STARKS!” as White leaves Starks behind and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

White soaks up the cheers and jeers as the ring count climbs. The count reaches 5 of 10 but White wants it faster. Starks slides in at 6, White covers, TWO! White smirks, he stomps Starks down, then drags him back up. Starks kicks, White blocks, and White DRAGON SCREWS the leg! Starks writhes but White soaks up the cheers and jeers again. White stalks Starks to a corner, has the bad leg, but Starks CLUBS him! White RAMS into Starks, and again, and again! The ref counts, White lets off and paces. Starks CHOPS back! And ROCKS White! And ROCKS him again! Starks whips, but White reverses, and Starks bounces off buckles!

White scoops Starks for a SIDEWALK SLAM! Cover, TWO! White is annoyed but he keeps on Starks. White wraps Starks in a bearhug and squeezes tight. Starks fights up, but White CLUBS him on the back and wrangles him back down. White keeps on the bearhug, Starks is fading, and the ref checks. The hand drops once, twice, but Starks revives! Starks fights up, but White CLUBS him on the back! Starks crawls to a corner, White brings him around, and CHOPS him! Dynamite returns to single picture as Starks turns things around to CHOP! Starks throws hands, stomps White, but the ref has him back off.

White knees Starks low! White whips Starks into the corner, but Starks comes back to LARIAT! Fans fire up and Juice coaches White. Fans rally as both men rise, and White runs in, into an atomic drop! Starks runs to SHOTGUN BOOT! White goes to a corner, Starks runs in to back elbow! And then TORNADO- NO, White throws Starks away! White rushes in, into an OVERHEAD Belly2Belly! Fans fire up and Starks air guitars. TORNADO DDT! Cover, TWO! White is still in this and Starks shakes his head. “This is Awesome!” as Starks drags White back up. Starks nods, he underhooks, but White deadweights him.

Starks CLUBS away on White, but White RAMS Starks low! Starks staggers, comes back, but White kicks low to DDT! Both men are down and Juice coaches White up. White and Starks go to opposite corners, and the ref has Juice stay back. White runs in to UPPERCUT Starks! White then hangs Starks out to dry on the ropes! Starks flops down, White drags Starks to a waistlock but Starks elbows free! Starks runs, into an URENAGE! Cover, TWO!! Starks just barely kicks out! White drags Starks back up, aims his finger gun, and then sleeper holds. But Starks fights the suplex with elbows! They’re on the ropes and Starks keeps throwing shots!

Fans fire up as Starks just hammers away! Starks runs in, but White EXPLODERS him up and out!! Starks lands hard, but the ref is watching Juice. Juice says he’s not doing anything! White goes out after Starks, brings him up, and puts him in the ring at 4 of 10. White hurries after Starks, but Starks cradles! TWO!! White hurries up to CHOP! Starks sputters and drops to his knees, and White drags him back up. Starks wrenches out to NECKBREAKER! Fans fire up, Starks builds speed, btu White follows! Starks scoops to NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB! Cover, TWO!!! White survives again, this is why he’s an IWGP Grand Slam Champion!

Juice is freaking out, fans hope these guys “FIGHT FOREVER!” but this has to end somehow. Starks brings White up, but White slips out. White swings, misses, but he follows Starks. Starks dodges, but Juice swipes! Starks staggers! BLADE- NO, ROLL-UP! TWO!!!! Starks keeps moving, and he SPEARS!!! Fans are thunderous and Starks is feeling it! Canadian Rack, but White rakes the eyes!! The ref reprimands, White lets off and he argues with the ref, to distract from Juice getting in! CHAIR- NO, Starks dodges! Starks kicks Juice, he has the chair, and he SMACKS Juice with it! Then he JAMS White with it!

The ref realizes what’s going on, he tells Starks not to go any further! Starks doesn’t care, he SMACKS White!!

Winner: Jay White, by disqualification

Starks doesn’t care about the loss on the record, he got one on King Switch! Starks aims, but Juice drags White out of there! Juice shouts that he hates Starks, but what will it take for this all the end between Starks and Bullet Club Gold?

Tony Schiavone is back in the ring.

And he says it gives him no pleasure to introduce… Don Callis. Fans boo as Callis makes his way out, security lining the ramp. Footage of what Callis did last week even plays on the tron to remind us that Callis betrayed Kenny Omega. Fans call Callis a POS, and Schiavone points it out to Callis. Callis, why!? Why did you do that!? Callis says everyone wants to hear him talk about why he did what he did to Kenny Omega. But instead, Callis will tell us what Kenny did to Callis. “Make no mistake about it, there’s only one victim in this scenario, and it’s not Kenny!” Fans boo because they don’t believe it.

But Callis says after everything he did for Kenny, from the IWGP World Championship to the dream match of Jericho VS Omega at The Tokyo Dome! Callis’ first night here, “they” won the AEW World Championship! Fans keep booing as Callis says without him, there is NO Kenny Omega! But speaking of, here comes Kenny Omega!! Security moves up to block his path and Kenny says okay, okay. He DECKS guard after guard! But the BCC rushes out to get Kenny like they did the Bucks! They mug Kenny, and security, and Bryan Danielson shouts for them to finish Kenny! PARADIGM SHIFT on the ramp!

The BCC moves on from Kenny to get in the ring. Moxley has the mic to say, “The war is already over, Kenny. You and your little pissant friends can’t touch us! You never could! This is your final, final warning, Kenny: Stay down! We are what everybody else in this business pretends to be! We, this right here, WE are the elite!” But wait, here come the Bucks! They’re not as down and out as everyone thought! They’re hobbling, but they’ve also got a can full of goodies! But even with a trash can lid, a pipe and a 2-by-4 wood beam, this is still 4v3 in the favor of BCC. WAIT! HANGMAN PAGE IS HERE!!

Austin goes nuts to see that the Cowboy, even with an eyepatch over his one eye, stands with The Elite! And Kenny gives him the barbed wire wrapped broom! The band is back together, and they rush the ring! Yuta gets a TRASH CAN SHIELD SMASH from Kenny! Matt hits Claudio with the pipe! Nick hits Moxley with the 2-by-4! And Hangman chases Bryan off! The fans are going nuts for “COWBOY SH*T!” and Kenny gets his trash can lid. Matt CHOKES Yuta with the pipe, then throw shim in! SHIELD SMASH into the corner! The Bucks then drag Yuta up, for a B T E TRIGGER!!

And that’s not all! Hangman is on the apron, the Bucks set Yuta up, for the BUCKSHOT!! The BCC drag Yuta outta there, and Hangman gets the mic! Hangman says, “We are the heart, we are the soul, we are the spirit of this place! WE ARE… THE! ELITE!! So run and hide while you can, because at Double or Nothing, it’s The Elite VS Blackpool Combat Club, ANARCHY IN THE ARENA!!” The BCC wanted a war, and The Elite are giving it to them! Who will survive in Sin City when anything can happen?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite here, great build towards Double or Nothing, but not in any of the ways I had expected. For one, a shame we won’t get any Blood & Guts, even though there are feuds fitting for it. And a shame Jamie Hayter couldn’t compete tonight for a Six Woman Tag. But the 2v2 was still a great match, and of course The Outcasts still win. Storm has a good promo to call out Hayter, that will be a really good title match, and that could go either way give Storm has The Outcasts but Hayter has Britt. Likewise, great stuff out of The Elite and BCC, and this was a great moment for Hangman to return. No B&G but Anarchy in the Arena was wild last time, so it’ll be just as wild this time.

Really good main event match from Starks VS White, but of course this isn’t the end of it. White getting the win by disqualification is a great move, because White wins without really winning, and this can escalate the feud now to no less than No Disqualifications. I was just hoping for Shawn Spears to back Starks up a bit more, or maybe we bring in Fred Rosser from NJPW Strong to tie in his feud with Juice. And great opening promo from Wardlow, Christian and Luchasaurus, as well as the follow-up with Arn. Bringing out a ladder in that beatdown of course foreshadowed a ladder match, the one kind of match Christian can beat Wardlow because he won’t even need to beat Wardlow, Luchasaurus can do the damage for him.

Really good stuff out of Triple J and FTR. I had a good laugh at FTR just running out to shove Satnam off the stage for him to fall through a table. Kudos on Satnam for taking that spot, too, that can be risky for anyone, and Satnam’s legitimately a big, tall guy. Quite the surprise seeing Karen Jarrett here to help Triple J get one over on FTR, but I think all this is leading to Triple J losing at Double or Nothing. And great stuff out of the Falls Count Anywhere. I loved that they used the loophole, great way for Cole to get at Jericho and help Strong win. I would think we get Cole & Strong VS members of the JAS, like Menard & Parker, before we get Jericho VS Cole at Double or Nothing.

Great stuff out of the world title story, with every Pillar other than MJF having a match tonight. Darby & Cassidy win a great tag match with Moriarty & Morrissey, and Sammy just squashes Exodus Prime. Great promos from everyone after that, and I did not think we’d get a battle royal for the International Championship. I know it’s Blackjack for 21 people being in it, but I hope this is also their Casino Battle Royal, sending people out at random. This might be how Cassidy loses the title while still looking strong. Sammy and Darby also have a good promo to show respect. JB VS Rush was a great match, too, and I like that Sammy and Darby make the save. MJF is mad now, but there’s a good chance he still finds a way to win in the end.

And of course, Tony Khan’s big announcement. We are getting AEW’s newest weekly wrestling show, Saturday Night Collision. A two hour show that on one hand, helps AEW relieve the pressure on them to feature people on the roster, and on the other, keeps CM Punk and The Elite separated. Assuming there even is a “brand split” like what we see in the WWE, there probably won’t be a draft because that’d be way too much like what WWE does. Though, all pro team sports have drafts, too, so it wouldn’t be ripping WWE off since WWE already ripped off real sports. Maybe it’ll be a lottery rather than a draft so that it looks random. And if you can’t tell, that mystery location for Collision’s premiere is going to be Chicago so that Punk can show up and make Collision feel like a big deal.

My Score: 8.8/10

PLAY BY PLAY

MJF arrives backstage.

Renee Paquette is there to bring up tonight’s main event is Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW World Championship. If Darby Allin wins, MJF will then have to sign a contract for Title VS Hair at Double or Nothing. Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…

And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Cutler, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?

10 Man Tag: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks VS Tommaso Ciampa, David Finlay, Clark Connors & FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway!

While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? Or will the Psycho Killer, the Dogs, and the Top Guys all stand tall on the road to Double or Nothing?

The teams sort out and the teams just brawl it out! The fans cheer as The Bucks have The Dogs, Cope is after Ciampa, Christian is after Cash, and Dax brawls with Cassidy! Dax bumps Cassidy off buckles but Cassidy ducks the haymaker to waistlock. The Bucks, Cope & Christian clear everyone else out, then take the brawl outside! FTR and the Psycho Killer mug Cassidy! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Ciampa stands Cassidy up. Cassidy blocks the chop! And he blocks another chop! The fans cheer but Ciampa kicks low and CHOPS again! The fans boo but Ciampa soaks up that heat. Ciampa drags Cassidy by a leg, turns him over, but Cassidy fights around!

Cassidy kicks and kicks but Ciampa drags him back! Cassidy turns to BOOT Ciampa away! Dax tags in and he CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax flips them off. Dax whips Cassidy, runs up, but Cassidy dodges! Dax POSTS himself! Both men are down, hot tags to Cash and Nick! Nick rallies on FTR with haymakers, BLASTS Ciampa, but Cash kicks low! FTR whips, DOUBLE HIP- NO, Nick lands out, MEETING OF TEH MINDS! Then DOUBLE WHEEL KICK! The fans fire up as Nick then DROPKICKS Dax out! The Dogs run up, but Nick knuckle locks and CHOPS Finlay! Then Nick jumps over Connors, SUPERKICKS, and he goes for the corner!

Nick goes up, up, and “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The fans are thunderous and Nick tags Matt. Nick whips Finlay, Finlay reverses, but Nick goes up and over. Matt SUPERKICKS Finlay! Nick SHINING WIZARDS Connors, adds a GAMANGIRI, then The Bucks DOUBLE BULLDOG with the high-five! The fans fire up again as Matt winds up. Matt WRECKS FTR with a dropkick, then holds the way open, Nick FLIES onto FTR & Ciampa! But Connors back suplexes! Matt lands out, and NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through, NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Polar Express is getting going, and Finlay joins the ride! DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS!

The fans are electric and it’s not just the volt green! Time for a SUPERKICK PARTAY~! Wait, Stokely grabs a foot each! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Stoke can’t even trip The Bucks up. The Bucks drag Stoke in! Stoke pleads for mercy, but FTR runs up! The Bucks dodge, mule kick, then SUPERKICK for Dax! SUPERKICK for Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on The Dogs! Then FTR is sent into The Dogs before DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Ciampa runs up to waistlock but Nick switches. Ciampa BOOTS Matt away, ELBOWS Nick, but Matt dodges, PSYCHO KNEE into Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Ciampa!

The fans fire up again, and The Bucks see C&C. They point to Christian, and the fans cheer! Christian steps in, the ref reprimands but Cope argues with the ref. This distraction lets Christian LOW BLOW Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Cash! Christian covers, TWO! Cash survives, the fans boo, but Christian rains down fists while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Christian puts Cash in the corner to CHPO, CHOP, and then rain down fists! Christian goes past TEN, maybe to fifteen, then stops. Cash sputters, Stoke talks trash, but Christian grabs Stoke! Cash CLUBS Christian, Ciampa HOTSHOTS the bad arm, and Ciampa hurries to tag in. Ciampa drags Christian around, SLAMS the bad arm off the mat, then SLAMS the arm again! Ciampa POSTS Christian, and Christian falls to the apron. The ref keeps his eyes on the rest of the team so they stay back. Ciampa goes out, and he SWINGS the bad arm into the post! Christian scrambles away, clutching the arm, but Ciampa taunts Cope with a wave.

Ciampa tags Connors, Connors tags Finlay, and The Dogs stomp away on Christian. Finlay clamps onto the bad hand, bends the fingers, then JAMS them into the mat! The ref reprimands but Finlay anchors Christian while he tags in Dax. Dax CHOPS Christian, DECKS him, then taunts Cope and The Bucks. The Bucks rally the fans, Cope coaches Christian up, but Dax brings Christian around. Christian blocks a shot to hit back, but then Dax kicks low! Dynamite returns to single picture as Dax UPPERCUTS Christian back to the corner. Stoke is on commentary suddenly to say Christian tried to steal Stoke’s watch, aka the watch Stoke stole from Christian.

But Christian fires back on Dax and the whole corner! Then he and Dax DOUBLE LARIAT! The fans fire up while both men are down! Christian crawls, but we can see Cash and The Dogs sneaking over! They and Ciampa YANK down Cope, Cassidy and The Bucks! The fans boo but Dax drags Christian back to center. Dax kicks and scuffs Christian, then talks trash. Winners: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks, by pinfall

Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?

Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.

They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.

Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.

Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!

Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?

Chris Jericho speaks.

“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!

Ricochet got what he wanted, now can he handle it? Bald. The first-ever SEVEN VS SEVEN Stadium Stampede, who will even survive?

Ricochet & The Demand respond.

They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.

These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS BK Westbrook!

JetSpeed has a lot of momentum on their side, and as stated last week at Fairway to Hell, they’re looking to grab up all the gold they can. Will Speedball keep on rolling towards his own golden opportunity? Or will #Supastud prove his own worth?

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two step up. Bailey bows in respect, offers a handshake, but Westbrook goes to roll Bailey up! Bailey stays on his feet, then steps over to sit down on a cover, TWO! Westbrook ducks a Penalty Kick, avoids the moonsault, and the sweep! Bailey dodges, Westbrook tiger feints through the ropes, but Bailey handsprings up and over! The fans fire up as Bailey ducks an elbow to whip. TIME ADVENTURE!

Bailey pushes Westbrook down, goes up the corner, and the fans fire up for the ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

The Machine was out for 14 months and yet no ring rust to be found! However, The Jet is just #2Fly2Stop! Bailey brings mics into the ring to say, “Congratulations to The Jet on a hell of a win!” Knight says much appreciated. But like he said, they’re red hot right now! And Brian Cage, welcome back! Cage took Knight to his limits, but The Jet is still standing as TNT Champion. But Knight can’t get over how last week, he couldn’t get the job done becoming #Jet2Belts. Bailey says forget last week. AEW reveals the Men’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Brackets!

This year’s tournaments will go through Double or Nothing, and the finals will coincide with Forbidden Door 2026 on Sunday, June 28th in San Jose, California! “Mark Davis… I’m sure you feel some congratulations are in order. But you’re not champion to me. You see, you’re built like an Australia grizzly bear, yet you still needed somebody to hit me in the back with a golf club for you to beat me. At Stadium Stampede, bring your friends, bring any weapon you want, and I will crack you over the skull with it. Because anything goes. But after that, it’s back to grass roots, because it is you and me, fighting for a shot at the world title at All In: London. And in the Owen Hart Tournament, I will prove to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’m a better wrestler than you. I am the FUTURE world champion!

“And if you don’t like that, F YOU!” Jungle Jack is sharpening his knife, but will his edge be razor sharp when it comes time to cut down Dunkzilla?

The fans cheer the standoff, and the two reset. They feel things out, knuckle lock, and go shoulder to shoulder in a Test of Strength. The fans rally as Ace pushes Ospreay back. Ace has Ospreay down for a knuckle lock cover, ONE as Ospreay gets his arm up. Ace pushes it down, cover, ONE as Ospreay gets the other arm up. Ace tries again, ONE as Ospreay bridges! Winner: Will Ospreay, by submission

That might’ve been Ospreay’s first win by submission ever! He signals that his neck is no longer a problem, and he shows Ace respect for that fight. Ace accepts the handshake again, and Ospreay is moving on towards Double or Nothing with a great amount of momentum. But wait! SAMOA JOE is here! He and The Opps walk out on stage, and with mic in hand, Joe says, “Ospreay, Ospreay… OSPREAY, OSPREAY!” Joe is clearly mocking the chants for Ospreay, and the fans give genuine chanting and even singing in return. Joe says he just wanted to make sure Ospreay was listening, because these past few weeks, it seemed like Ospreay had a hard time hearing him.

Despite Ospreay’s best efforts, fate has put them on a collision course in the opening round of the Owen Hart Cup. The fans like the sound of that! Joe say she is here for one reason and one reason alone. He wants to speak about choices and consequences. Ospreay could’ve made the right choice and get a bye in this tournament, because that is what Joe would do for one of his friends. But Ospreay chose poorly. He could’ve been with the team that would do nothing but support and enhance Ospreay, but he decided to be a lapdog for Moxley and the Death Riders. The fans boo, Ospreay says he’s not a Death Rider.

Joe says Ospreay has made his choice, and come Double or Nothing, Joe makes Ospreay suffer the consequences. But Joe leaves Ospreay in peace tonight, for he has his date with destiny. But unfortunately, Joe’s friends, Katsuyori Shibata & Anthony Bowens, still feel slighted, and he doesn’t put leashes on his friends. Shibata & Bowens storm down the ramp, Ospreay ready to fight them both if he has to. But then The Death Riders appear! Ospreay may not have officially joined the club, but the Death Riders aren’t going to let their investment go to waste! The Opps say they’re #NeverLacking, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now!

Shibata & Bowens back down while Moxley, Marina, Claudio, Yuta, Garcia & Pac all step up to support Ospreay. Joe says, “Soon. Soon.” The fans cheer the Death Riders, or at least Moxley, but Bowens promises Joe is gonna kill you, Ospreay! The dream match for Double or Nothing is on, but will the training with The Death Riders make Ospreay the new King of Harts?

BREAKING NEWS for next week!

If you liked last week’s THREE HOUR block of AEW, then you’ll love this next one! Portland, Maine, the last Wednesday before Double or Nothing, Dynamite & Collision are combining forces again! Three hours all on TBS and HBO Max, make sure your DVR is set accordingly!

Backstage interview with Don Callis & Konosuke Takeshita.

Renee is now with The Invisible Hand & The Alpha, saying tonight is a huge opportunity in the main event, Konosuke facing Darby Allin for THE AEW World Championship. Konosuke could be heading into Double or Nothing as a- Callis stops Renee there to say Konosuke will be heading into Double or Nothing as a DOUBLE champion! But then MJF steps in, apologizes for the interruption but says Renee’s doing a great job. The Scumbag tells Konosuke that while it’s been a minute since the two of them have talked, three years actually, back when MJF beat him… MJF has seen Konosuke develop into truly one of the best wrestlers in the world!

MJF believes that tonight, Konosuke beats Darby for the title, goes to DON to beat Okada, and MJF can’t think of a better match than Konosuke VS MJF Part 2 for the world title. How’s that sound? MJF offers a handshake, Konosuke shakes his hand, but in Japanese, Konosuke tells MJF that he’ll beat the crap out of him. Thankfully, MJF doesn’t know Japanese. Callis says that was a nice pep talk MJF just gave, and MJF says yes, he knows. That kid needs to win, okay? MJF can’t let Darby turn him into some disgusting, bald freak! No offense, Callis looks great. But look, there is only one foolproof way to know MJF won’t be put in that situation.

So if things get hairy… MJF hands over the Dynamite Diamond Ring! Callis smiles, and say she understands what to do with it. But then in steps Andrade. El Idolo takes off his hat to shake out his amazing head of hair, and smiles at MJF. MJF frowns and leaves. Callis says here’s the deal: Takeshita will bring the world title home to the Don Callis Family tonight! Andrade asks, “How you know?” Callis says aye dios mio, he seriously doesn’t know where Andrade learned English. Andrade says one way or another, the next time, that will be HIS title. Callis says yes, he knows, it’s all good. Callis is a man of many talents, but will his family be dripping with gold thanks to a diamond ring?

AEW now announces the Women’s Owen Hart Memorial Tournament brackets!

Double or Nothing will see Willow Nightingale, the reigning Queen of Harts, take on Alex Windsor, while we will see Persephone VS Hazuki, Skye Blue vs Sareee, and Mina Shirakawa VS Athena! Champions from around the world are gathering for this tournament, but who will be headed to Forbidden Door, and then All In: London?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Renee Paquette is now with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Willow Nightingale. Renee commends Cassidy on his part in the 10 Man Tag victory. But it seems that there is even more business to attend to. Cassidy says yes, the team has a shot at THE AEW World Tag Team Championships. It doesn’t matter who it is, they’re getting their shot, but the thing is… They still haven’t decided on which two will be. Kyle says Cassidy & Roddy should go for the gold, but Roddy shouts, “KYYYLE~! Thank you.” Kyle says of course. But that’s cuz he’s got gold to chase for himself!

The same man that put Kyle on the shelf for months is the man that Kyle submitted twice, and will submit again. Jon Moxley, Continental Champion, when are we doing this? Willow says speaking of gold, she is still the TBS Champion. But she is also in the Owen Hart Cup. She won this tournament before, she’ll do it all over again, so that she can have all the gold for herself at All In: London. She knows she can, and she will! Then Conglomeration has it all in order? Cassidy says hold on, there’s something missing. They should do a Word of the Day. Why haven’t they done one in so long? Roddy shouts for “MAAARK~!” And yes, Mark Briscoe returns!

The Sussex County Chicken is all fired up, and he says the Word of the day is reunification! For Mark Briscoe is back with his boys and his girls, The Conglomeration! But he’ll put this plain and simple: Tommaso Ciampa! Next Wednesday, Briscoe’s after your ass, son! You hear him? But before that, Saturday Night Collision is in HIS hometown, Salisbury, Maryland! That’s just 4.4 miles from where Briscoe originated on this earth! They’re gonna conglomerate and it’s gonna be a a hell of a time! Are you ready!? Willow and Kyle are fired up, Briscoe goes wild, and the team heads out. Cassidy admits, that was a lot of yelling.

But while The Conglomeration is ready to go Double or Nothing, will they soon have even more gold in the collection? Or are these high and lofty a little too much even for them?

The fans boo but Skye sends Jamie into steel steps!

Thekla sends Windsor into buckles! Tag to Julia before Shida runs up, TAMASHII KNEE on Thekla! Skye SUPERKICKS Shida! Jamie is back to clinch and HAYTBREAKER! Julia runs up, slips around, SOLE FOOD! Julia kips up, but Windsor is there to whip Julia to ropes! Skye tags in before the SPINEBUSTER! Skye SUPERKICKS Windsor, then brings her up! Skye hops on, CODE- NO, Windsor pops free! Skye SUPERKICKS again, but Windsor HEADBUTTS! The fans fire up as Jamie joins in again, and they DOUBLE LARIAT SANDWICH! Then they set Skye up, and Jamie says let’s try this again!

Jamie runs the ropes, but Thekla slides in, BELT SHOT on Jamie!! No question that the ref saw that! The Triangle is disqualified!

Winners: Hikaru Shida & The Brawling Birds, by disqualification

The Toxic Spider doesn’t care about this win, she just wants to do damage! Skye gets Windsor in a DRAGON SLEEPER! The ref stops Thekla from sing the title belt again, so Thekla just takes off her own belt! And she LASHES Windsor while Skye holds her down! More refs rush out here, but Julia MISTS the newbie in the face! Julia stomps away on Jamie, not caring about fines or consequences, either! The fans boo, and Shida is bailing on the Birds? Shida cares more about her chances in that Fatal 4 Way than anything else. But then Willow, Mina, and even Thunder Rosa rush out here! They chase The Triangle off with belts of their own!

The fans cheer as The Babe, the Fighting Gravure Idol & La Mera Mera save the day. But will Jamie make sure Thekla and Shida pay for this at Double or Nothing?

AEW World Championship: Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita!

They say “card subject to change,” and that is true even for the best in the world. Kazuchika Okada’s real family takes priority, but his Don Callis Family brother was more than happy to step up for this opportunity. Will The Alpha already have two belts by the time he and The Rainmaker battle over the International Championship? Or will Darby truly be relentless in his pursuit of being the best fighting champion in AEW history?

The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and we see who goes to Double or Nothing on top!

Callis joins commentary to say that while Darby’s been breaking his own body, Konosuke has perfected “rejuvenation training,” aka relaxing on a beach and sipping sake! The bell rings, and Darby SHOTGUNS Konosuke out! Then Darby DIVES, but Konosuke catches him! Konosuke POSTS Darby, then THROWS him into railing! Konosuke THROWS Darby into the ring, the fans fire up for both guys, and Konosuke hurries to BOOT Darby off the apron! Darby falls in front of commentary but Konosuke gets him right back in the ring. Cover, ONE!! The fans rally as Darby shows his grit, but Konosuke snarls.

Konosuke drags Darby up, Darby fires forearms, but the ALPHA ELBOW knocks Darby down! The fans fire up while Konosuke looms over Darby. Konosuke stands Darby up, and THROWS him into a corner! Darby bounces off the buckles and is bleeding from the mouth already! Konosuke stands Darby up, hoists him up top, then he climbs up after him. But Darby BITES Konosuke, CLUBS him down, and leaps for a CROSSBODY, but he bounces off Konosuke! The fans fire up again as Konosuke whips Darby for a BACKDROP! Darby got serious hangtime there, and he flounders out of the ring. Darby coughs and sputters but the fans rally up.

Konosuke goes out after Darby but Darby SMACKS him! Konosuke KNEES low, KNEES him again and again and again! Konosuke KNEES Darby against the barriers, then refreshes the count. Konosuke whips Darby hard into railing! Darby sputters as he leans against the railing, but Konosuke positions the steel steps. Konosuke then fetches Darby, lines up a shot, but Darby fights the suplex! Darby CLAWS Konosuke’s back, then fires a shot. Konosuke DECKS Darby in return! Darby slumps against the steps, Konosuke runs up, but Darby dodges! Konosuke’s knees hit the steps and he tumbles over! Darby then runs up the steps to SHOTGUN Konosuke down!

The fans fire up while both men are down on the floor! Konosuke checks his knee before he crawls around, and Darby gets in the ring so he can build speed! Darby DIVES! Direct hit on Konosuke but Darby’s the one who hits the desk! The fans fire up while both men are down again, but Darby rises up to get Konosuke on the apron! Darby fires forearms, then goes up a corner! COFFIN- NO, Konosuke catches him for a SUPER BLUE THUNDER BOMB to the floor!! The fans go nuts again and Callis says that’s the end of Darby Allin, but Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref hurries to check Darby but Callis tells Doc Sampson to call it. Darby is somehow still in this, so Konosuke storms his way over. Konosuke drags Darby up, puts him in the ring, then paces around him. Konosuke runs the ropes to LARIAT! Darby flips inside-out, Konosuke covers him, TWO!! Darby still has fight inside but he’s also dazed. Konosuke clamps onto Darby with a chinlock and squeezes tight. Darby endures, even as Konosuke leans on him with his much-taller frame. Darby reaches out, fights around, and rises up, only for Konosuke to CANADIAN RACK BOMB! Darby sputters all over again while Dynamite returns to single picture.

Konosuke sits back as he watches Darby crawl to the apron. Konosuke storms his way over, but Darby RAMS low! Slingshot sunset flip, but Konosuke rolls through! Only for Darby to kick the legs out! Darby catches Konosuke to a GUILLOTINE! Konosuke endures the squeeze, fights up to his feet, and he powers out to THROW Darby! Darby lands out, fires shots, and RAMS low! Darby then hops on, but Konosuke stops Code Red! Konosuke swings Darby around, tucks him in, BASTARD DRIVER! And WHEELBARROW GERMAN! The fans fire up and Callis says that’s true power! Darby sputters again and Konosuke vows to end this.

Konosuke runs corner to corner, HELLUVA KICK!! Then he hoists Darby up top, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans freak out already for the SUPER DUPER GERMAN SUPLEX!! Bridging cover, TWO!!! Callis is freaking out as much as the fans, and he protests the count! Konosuke is furious, but he aims for the WAGAMAMA KNEE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Darby survives by nanoseconds, and Konosuke is beside himself! “This is Awesome!” but now CLØN rushes out here! He distracts the ref, and Callis hurries to take the Dynamite Diamond Ring off his finger to put it in Konosuke’s hands! Konosuke thinks about it, but The Alpha has honor!

The fans cheer as Konosuke wants to do this his way! But then Darby runs up, cradles, TWO!! Konosuke escapes, ALPHA ELBOW!! Darby is down, dazed, but still moving! Konosuke drags Darby up again, goes back to the corner and back to the top rope. The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow! Darby fights against the lift with headlock punches! Then he hops on, SUPER CODE RED!! Konosuke staggers up, Darby leg scissors, steps through, LAST SUPPER!! TWO?!?! Konosuke escapes again, then bails out! So Darby just goes up top! SUPER COFFIN DROP!! Direct hit and both men are down again!

The fans are thunderous as Konosuke and Darby stir. A ring count climbs, Callis complains that some people just gotta follow directions and run the play! Coach Callis pulled Konosuke outta obscurity, Konosuke would do anything! Now he’s got some gold, some fame, and gets a mind of his own! Callis complaining aside, the ring count is climbing! Darby drags himself in at 9, but Konosuke YANKS him back out! That refreshes the count, and Konosuke vows to end this for real now. Konosuke points to the steel steps, and he drags Darby up onto them with a deadlift RAGING- NO, Darby knees Konosuke, turns things around, and FULL METAL SCORPION DEATH DROP!!!

The fans go nuts again while Konosuke writhes! Konosuke flops off the steps, Darby crawls into the ring, and Darby just climbs the corner again! SUPER DUPER COFFIN DROP!!! Konosuke might be unconscious! Darby still hauls Konosuke into the ring, pushes him to a cover, TWO?!?!? Konosuke survives and Darby is furious! But Darby just reloads, COFFIN DROP but onto knees!!! Ghost pin, TWO!!! Darby escapes but the WAGAMAMA KNEE finds him!! Konosuke hauls Darby up, but Darby pops free! Trip, step through, and SCORPION DEATH LOCK!!! Konosuke endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep!!

Callis says don’t even think about it! Konosuke almost does, but he bites his own thumb to ignore the pain in his back! Konosuke reaches out, crawls his way forward, and he fights to the ROPEBREAK!!! But Darby is right up top! COFFION DROP on the back!! Then Darby goes right back up, COFFIN DROP again!!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Callis is steaming, but Darby overcomes Konosuke to avenge that loss in the Continental Classic! But it also took so much out of him just to do it! Darby still asks for a mic and one is brought to him. Darby sits up against the ropes, has them cut his music, and he tells MJF to get his ass out here! There’s a contract MJF needs to sign! The ring crew hurries to bring in a table and some chairs for that very contract signing, and MJF makes his entrance. MJF reluctantly makes his way down the ramp, and both men meet at the table. Darby grins with blood still in hiss teeth, and he signs his part of the contract without hesitation, unlike MJF.

The fans already chant “BALD! BALD! BALD!” at MJF, and Darby pushes the contract to his side of the table. MJF grabs the pen, reaches out, but then steps away. MJF scratches his chin as he thinks on this, and the fans just chant, “BALD! BALD! BALD!” again. MJF takes a mic to say he’ll explain something to Darby, looking like he has rabies. But see, MJF is happy for Darby, he hopes Darby’s had fun holding MJF’s AEW World Championship. The fans boo that, but MJF says deep down, there is a small part of him, like the size of a North Carolinian p*nis small. That small part of MJF feels bad for Darby, because he’ll never hold this again!

Darby’s got about a good a chance of holding this title as Hangman Adam Page does again. MJF says guys like Darby are a dime a dozen, here today and gone tomorrow, stuntmen who burn the candle at both ends. In this life, people like all these fans here like to pretend that life is about making friends and family and children. The only thing that matters in life is your legacy. And Darby’s legacy will be that of the kid who had his 15 minutes of fame. They’ll pretend like Darby made a lasting impact, but the fact of the matter is, he hasn’t. He hasn’t! They’ll know deep down that Darby Allin was just a little pr*ck who got lucky.

They’ll know that Darby was too reckless and stupid to stay on top. And after May 24th, Double or Nothing, in that sh*thole of Queens, New York, y’know what MJF’s legacy will be? He’ll go down as the guy who became a THREE-TIME World Champion at just 30 years of age, unprecedented in this sport. And MJF will go down, when it’s all said and done, as the Greatest of All Time! THAT is the difference between them! Darby Allin brags about climbing a mountaintop. But when it comes to professional wrestling, Maxwell Jacob Friedman IS the mountaintop! The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. Darby tells MJF to SHUT UP!

Only someone like MJF who is so vain would think that the number one most important thing in this world is his legacy. Darby doesn’t care about legacy, he cares about living in the moment! And in this moment, Darby just wants MJF to sign the contract. Then at Double or Nothing, Darby makes Maxwell Jacob Friedman a BALLD HEADED B*TCH!! MJF frowns but the fans cheer that! MJF grabs the pen again, and with no choice, he signs on the dotted line! Then he TACKLES Darby! The fans boo as MJF beats up Darby after the war he went through with Konosuke! MJF CHUCKS an armchair outta the ring, FLIPS the table, then picks up his Dynamite Diamond Ring.

MJF puts the ring on his finger like always, then winds up to DECK Darby!! The fans boo but MJF just soaks it all up. MJF throws off his jacket, picks up the belt, and he stands over Darby with it. But then MJF isn’t done with Darby, he puts Darby on the top rope! MJF climbs up to join him, and drags Darby into position! But wait! Kevin Knight runs out here to chase MJF off! The Jet still owes The Scumbag a receipt, but it seems we’ll all have to wait on that. Will MJF still take back the title at Double or Nothing? Or will Darby keep the belt and take MJF’s dignity?

My Thoughts:

An awesome episode for Dynamite as things heat up towards Double or Nothing. Awesome 10 Man Tag to open, great win for the Faces, not that it added much to FTR VS C&C. Good promo from Jericho to look back on Stadium Stampede and hype up this year’s match. Good promo from The Demand with Davis and The Dogs, and I suppose this maximizes the feuds as well as the alliances throughout the locker room. Who knows who wins but the match will still be awesome, just as the original was. Good promo from Conglomeration, too, Cassidy & Roddy going after FTR while Kyle VS Moxley happens on the side, that’s great stuff.

Speaking of Moxley, great promo from him and Ospreay. Moxley’s semi-turn has really brought out his sage philosophical side. Great match from Ospreay VS Ace, and while Ospreay could always bring out his aggression, seeing him use more technical wrestling and even winning with a submission is good stuff. Good promo from Joe, and I liked Death Riders backing Ospreay up. Very good Owen Hart Cup brackets this year, Joe VS Ospreay is a great choice given this story, but I would think Ospreay wins that one. Good promo from Jack Perry to call out Davis, and I suppose Jack can win in the Owen Cup to then move on from the National title.

Great seeing Brian Cage back, he gave Knight an awesome match, but with JetSpeed wanting to go on a Two Man Power Trip, it makes sense Kevin won out. Same for Bailey beating Westbrook, even though Westbrook maybe went too hard on his own acrobatic escape. Great stuff in the Six Woman Tag, and I appreciate Shida didn’t ditch until after the match. Willow, Mina & Rosa might get their own Six Woman Tag with Triangle of Madness after that interaction, but also can’t wait to see if Willow can go back-to-back as Queen of Harts. For that matter, I personally would love to see Athena use the Owen Cup to move on from being ROH Women’s World Champion, but that depends on how Supercard of Honor goes this Friday.

And of course, another wild instant classic from Darby as he overcomes Takeshita. I knew the diamond ring would come into play with that reverse effect, good way of protecting Takeshita in the loss. Good stuff with MJF tonight, too, such as the opening segment’s parade of bald men to send the message to MJF. That was also a unique contract signing segment in that it came together so quickly after the main event match. Good stuff from MJF as always, and of course he attacks Darby. I feel like either Knight should not have made the save, or both parts of JetSpeed should’ve made the save. It just seems odd that only Knight cared about saving Darby. The closing moment was much better when it was MJF standing over Darby with the belt.

My Score: 9/10

Then LARIATS him down! The fans boo but Davis refreshes the ring count.

Davis storms over to Jack while the fans rally up. Davis drags Jack up, brings him around, and CHOPS! The fans “WOO~” as that one echoes out. Jack BOOTS Davis, slips outside and ROCKS Davis again, then slingshots, but into a FOREARM! Davis then runs to BLAST Jack off the apron! The fans boo Davis but he soaks it up while Collision goes to break.

The ref checks Jack but Davis goes out to fetch him. Davis grabs a towel to CHOKE Jack with it! The ref reprimands, Davis stops, but then he sits Jack up on the railing. Davis CHOPS Jack into the crowd! Davis leaves Jack behind while the ring count climbs. Jack drags himself up while the fans cheer him on, and Jack gets help getting up and over the barriers. Jack stumbles back to the ring, safe at 8! Davis storms up and tells the fans this is on them. But Jack dodges the chop, to SMACK Davis! And ROCK him again, and again, and again! The fans are thunderous but Callis rushes to ringside! The fans all boo Callis, but wait! RICOCHET slides into the ring! Still dressed in his golf course attire, he CRACKS Jack with his nine iron!! Ricochet hides, Davis deadlifts Jack, COUNT TO PAIN!! Cover, DAVIS WINS!

Winner: Mark Davis, by pinfall (NEW AEW National Champion)

Talk about a handicap! Callis AND Ricochet gave Davis quite a considerable one, and now Davis has his first singles title in AEW! The Jurassic Express National Tour has just been run off the road, but will Jack be able to get his revenge?

Collision returns, and Jack Perry is on the phone.

He tells someone, “Let’s do it. Thank you, guys.” Jack ends his call, then shows his frustration. Winning the National Championship in his hometown, in front of his friends and family, was one of the proudest moments of his entire life. And yet Ricochet and Callis had to end that for him. But he happens to know that Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate are looking for two more partners for Stadium Stampede. And Jack go to thinking, the show is called Double or Nothing. So how about instead of two, Jack brings FOUR! The ELITE! Jack, The Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! See you there. Ricochet may have just messed himself over, will he regret ever getting involved tonight?

Backstage interview with Don Callis, Mark Davis and Ricochet.

Renee Paquette is with the Jackal, Dunkzilla and the Bald Eagle as she says she was going to congratulate Davis on the title win, but after Jack putting out that news, what is their reaction? Callis says he’s thrilled! Jack just gifted him his ultimate fantasy! A chance to beat up Jericho, The Bucks AND Kenny, all on one night? Callis would’ve paid good money for that, and Jack, you dumbass, just gave it away from free! Ricochet says The Don Callis Family must be joining The Demand for Stadium Stampede. Well, given the way Ricochet just used that golf club, the National Champion will gladly stand beside him!

Ricochet says playing golf with Tony Khan has really improved his swing, so see you all there. Callis says yes, let’s go have a drink at the 19th Hole and talk about which of the many members of the Don Callis Family are going to join Ricochet in the slaughterhouse! Ricochet says oh yes, so many great choices to choose from! Callis & Ricochet head out, just how massive will this Stadium Stampede match get?

AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator: The Divine Dominion VS Ruthie Slay & Rachel Ley!

Megan Bayne & Lena Kross are so dominant, they don’t even think this match is going to last five minutes! But while there’s a time limit, will there be no limit to how devastating the Megasus & Aussie Amazon can be? Or will Slay & Ley manage to survive the day?

The teams sort out, Lena starts against Slay, and the clock is ticking! Slay DROPKICKS, but Lena doesn’t budge! Ley ENZIGIRIS, but Lena still doesn’t flinch! Ley & Slay double kick, but Lena blocks the double whip! Lena whips them, ELBOWS Slay and SPIN-OUT SIDEWALK SLAMS Ley! Then she scoops Slay to SLAM her onto Ley! Lena drags Ley up, whips her to the corner, then runs up to LARIAT! And ELBOW! Tag to Megan and the Divine Dominion run side to side! BOOT from Lena, BOOT from Megan! Then GERMAN SUPLEX! Ley tumbles, the fans cheer, and Megan tags Lena back in. Lena storms up on Ley to GERMAN SUPLEX again!

The fans cheer as Lena tags Megan back in. We’ve hit 90 seconds, but it feels like forever for Ley as Megan GERMAN SUPLEXES again! Megan kips up, then she stalks Ley. Megan eggs Ley on, slaps her around, then drags her up. Megan fireman’s carries, but Slay manages to tag in! Slay runs up, but Megan scoops her! FALL AWAY SLAM SAMOAN DROP COMBO! They’ve made it two minutes but that might be all! Tag to Lena, she and Megan get Slay up, DIVINE INTERVENTION! Cover, Divine Dominion wins!

Winners: The Divine Dominion, by pinfall (denies Slay & Ley a title opportunity)

Two minutes and 15 seconds is all Slay & Ley got, will any team last even that long? Or will the Divine Dominion continue to dominate AEW until the end of time?

BREAKING NEWS for Double or Nothing!

The Triangle of Madness may have misted Persephone and injured Alex Windsor, but that only heaps on more trouble for the champion! Thekla must now defend her AEW Women’s World Championship in a FATAL 4 WAY! Thekla VS Jamie Hayter VS Kris Statlander VS Hikaru Shida, is The Toxic Spider about to get squashed? Or will she need her Sisters of Sin now more than ever?

BREAKING NEWS for Dynamite!

The annual tradition is back! The 2026 Owen Hart Memorial Tournament begins, with the brackets for both men’s and women’s divisions to be announced on Wednesday! Who makes the cut? And who will become the King & Queen of Harts?

Don Callis speaks, again.

“Just moments away from the AEW World title match between Darby Allin and Pac, and gentlemen, just wanted to let you know that the Don Callis Family, no matter who wins tonight, the Don Callis Family will be waiting for the winner. This Wednesday on Dynamite, the Don Callis Family will take the AEW World title from one of you. And y’know, it’s already been a great night, a big night, for the Don Callis Family! We won gold, but can’t wait to get some more. And on the subject of that, Okada has had to go to Japan to take care of some very important family business. But don’t worry, lads, because I have someone in mind to take his spot this Wednesday in the world title match.

“And it is none other than the firstborn of the Don Callis Family, Konosuke Takeshita, The Alpha!” Takeshita steps in, and Callis tells him, “You’re gonna be the world champion! If you listen to me like you always have, you will be successful, and you will finally fulfill the destiny that I had for you when I plucked you out of obscurity and made you the replacement for Kenny Omega. You’re the best wrestler in the world when you’ve got my game plan in your head. Go win the title.” Konosuke tells Don that he was going to take the International Championship, but now he is the person who will bring the world title back to the Don Callis Family! Unlike Okada.

Takeshita heads out, will he still make himself a double champion when he adds #PrettyPlatinum to the NJPW World Television Championship?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS Kiran Grey!

This match was on standby in case the Divine Dominion didn’t need all five minutes of their time, and now it’s a chance for Speedball to shine! But will he keep his momentum going from last Wednesday’s super show? Or will he get lost in the Grey Area?

Grey is already starting trouble as he pushes Bailey. The ref backs him off, then the bell rings. Grey runs up, but into a BOOT! Bailey then PENALTY KICKS, STANDING KNEE-SAULT, then Bailey waits on Grey. Grey ducks the buzzsaw and bails out! The fans boo but Bailey TRIANGLE JUMP MOONSAULTS! Down goes Grey and the fans fire up! Bailey daps it up with The Jet, then he climbs up the corner. But Grey goes after him! They brawl up top, Grey fires a flurry, but Bailey fires back! Bailey SHOVES Grey down, takes aim, but Grey hits the ropes! Bailey is tripped up onto his speedballs, but Grey dribbles him off the buckles!

Grey CLUBS Bailey into a Tree of Woe, then soaks up the heat before he stomps Bailey! Grey tells Bailey to stay down but Bailey grabs  that leg! Bailey uses that to drag himself back up, and he ROCKS Grey again! Bailey dribbles Grey off buckles, then HEADBUTTS him! Grey falls, Bailey takes aim, ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

Winner: “Speedball” Mike Bailey, by pinfall

A fast win for Speedball, and Knight gets the mic. he says he likes that! Speedball is red hot right now. And though The Jet didn’t get two belts on Wednesday, he’s still the Face of TNT. Now, the future of AEW is wide open, so why not they make it to the top together? They shake hands on it, will JetSpeed shift gears to become a Two Man Power Trip? What belt(s) will they aim for next?

AEW World Championship No Count Outs Match: Darby Allin VS PAC!

Anticipating how wild this one can get given the nature of their grudge, AEW decided to remove some of the obstacles standing in their way. They can’t do anything they want, but they can definitely go anywhere they want here in the SoFi Center! But will Darby even up the career series between them? Or will it be 3-1 in favor of The Bastard?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who takes this belt to Dynamite!

The bell rings and the fans rally behind Darby. Darby hops outside already, and he goes around the crowd to be on the golfing green! Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Pac said it himself, Darby is the indestructible boy! But can Darby keep this up? Or will The Alpha come through on his promise and bring this title back to the Don Callis Family this Wednesday?

My Thoughts:

A great hour of AEW here as this special edition of Collision, though “Fairway to Hell” is such a random thing to begin with. They must’ve made a business deal with SoFi and TGL, which to me might be more AEW helping TGL get noticed on a national scale. And changing the status quo with the National Championship was quite the surprise, but that’s still great for Davis. Ricochet being the reason why, and then that compelling The Elite jumping into Stadium Stampede is a bit convoluted. I get they’re using continuity of how Kenny hates Callis and vice-versa, but it undercuts what I was hoping for in Hurt Syndicate getting to introduce new members. But hey, 7v7 is pretty wild, too.

I appreciate Divine Dominion adding something to their squash matches with that five minute goal. Slay & Ley already set a good time with over two minutes, and I’m sure two minutes will be the average as they just dominate all summer. And it seems Alex Windsor is gonna be out a little longer than expected, given that adjustment for Double or Nothing. A Fatal 4 Way is still good for how Thekla can use her challengers against each other, or be protected in a loss if they choose. It also helps bring in the Shidalander story, but it also feels like we’re skipping chapters. That Fatal 4 Way can probably get us to the team breaking up and Shida turning on Statlander for their own feud.

Bailey VS Grey probably was a legit standby match, that went quick. And Knight had a decent promo saying he and Bailey are still gonna be JetSpeed going for all the gold. Not sure if that comes true or just sets things up for the team to fall apart. And then a really wild main event with the “No Count Out” match. They probably could’ve just called that No Holds Barred but they wanted to add heat on how The Death Riders were cheating the second half of that match. Both table spots were risky, but obviously Darby did the crazier one. AEW really needs to be careful not to push it much further than that, though.

Then the news of Okada being out for Dynamite, hopefully it’s nothing too tragic with his family. But Takeshita as the substitute is a good choice, this helps build the Okada VS Takeshita match at the same time as building Darby up. Pretty sure MJF accepts the terms of Title VS Hair, and it’d be very MJF if he were to announce that while attacking Darby to close the show on Wednesday.

My Score: 8.8/10
